Steves sharpening service really is as good as his reviews suggest. This is a seriously skilled craftsman and if you live anywhere near him its beyond convenient and affordable to have him do all your sharpening. I used his services yesterday primarily to get the edge back on a set of fillet knives prior to a fishing trip, all of which were dull and one of which was basically destroyed through abusive treatment. Within an hour he had all 3 knives plus about 10 more kitchen implements (including a serrated blade) back to better-than-new sharpness. A+ would use again or recommend for anyone.

Awesome guy, very friendly. Sharpened my damaged blade hinkel ebay find. Put a new tip on and fixed her up perfect. He uses a motor driven strop to finish the edge off, thats what makes them razor sharp and keep a lasting sharpness. Hope Im not giving his secret away.

I wanted to let the knives that I had sharpened get a little wear on them. This is the best knife sharpener around. He worked with me dropping them off and didnt berate me for using an at home sharpener (which didnt work). I will always bring my knives to be sharpened here. I can cut through a tomato without trying now, I couldnt do that even right after we bought them!!! Do yourself a favor and get your knives sharpened by him!

To start off, Steve is a very nice man. He is also a craftsman in every sense of the word. He does an excellent job at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. My mom desperately needed her kitchen knives sharpened, out of the 5, 3 had broken tips and another had some divots and scratches. We dropped them off in the morning and Steve had them ready 20 min later, but let us pick them up on our way home. He was super friendly and the price was insanely reasonable. I met Steve for the first time today. I have a set of Global knives that are special to me and desperately needed sharpening! I called Steve. He asked that I drop the knives off at his sharpening studio. He was incredibly friendly, professional and quick! Within an hour and a half my knives were done. I took my nice to Steve at sharp stuff and I couldnt be happier.I bought Ontario SP 6 and it came with just the factory edge on it which was not very sharp. However, the knife was crafted from carbon steel. After being in Steves hands I can easily shave the hair off my arm. Steve is a true craftsman. After this experience, Ill gladly take him all my cutleryJust another note.There is one of the review on here thats not a five star review.I would encourage readers to disregard this particular review.. A craftsman cant be totally responsible for a customer that provides cheap knives made from low quality steel. Just sayin....

As I live 80 miles away, I set up an appointment with Steve to sharpen my wood working chisels while I did a little shopping. He was friendly, prompt and my chisels have never been so sharp!!! Great service, thank you, Steve!!

I had my knifes sharpened with Steve last weekend. I am a microtech knife guy and I have to say that Steve did a excellent job! My knives have never been this sharp. Microtech is known to have some of the sharpest blades for a production knife. Steve made them even sharper. He is very professional and went out of his way to make time for me on a Saturday evening knowing that I was from out of town. I would highly recommend getting your blades sharpened by this highly trained and qualified knife sharpening guru!

Knives were dull in 2 months. I was very disappointed. Had these knives for 10 years, and have regularly got them sharpened. Thought I would try Sharp Stuff....Going to have to find someone else.

An excellent sharpener who took my abused and dull kitchen knife and returned it sharper than it has ever been, with a straight and level edge with no nicks. And then asked a very reasonable price.

Havent been to his shop yet and I like the guy already,will update review monday after hes done with my very abused knives.
