Great service! Quick turn around on the work and I really appreciated that Chang took extra time to really walk me through what might be going on with my car and give advice even though I came by right near closing time.

I usually do not write reviews but Mr. Chang’s honesty and professionalism must be commended. Chang performed a diagnostic and was completely honest that repair needed was not in his swim lane and referred me elsewhere. However his making time at the end of the day and not charging me deserve a shout out. You don’t see this type of customer building behavior often and I will bring my business to car conned in the future for sure.

I LOVE CHANG!I tell him everything I see him. For over 12 years he is the only mechanic I trust. My family goes to him, as well. Ive moved away numerous times and try to wait till I come home for any repairs. Hes corrected other repairs by lousey mechanics (Georgia Luxury Motors sucks) that my insurance had me go to for body work. Should have gone to Change to start with and asked his opinion. Hes honest and he and team do a great job!

Chang Is absolutely no nonsense, if you can repair it he will repair it to the best of his ability as affordably as possible. I don’t know what some of these reviews are talking about that the owner is rude... I took my car in TWICE for an issue that apparently didn’t exist and he didn’t charge me to look at it either time. He’s been so nice and accommodating and I will always go to him for my car repairs.

I was visiting Georgia from Florida and on my drive here my check engine light came on. Firestone wanted to charge me $600 to replace spark plugs and a bad coil! My coil is one individual unit and that was their explanation as to why it would cost so much. Chang only charged me $278 dollars allowing me to enjoy my vacation in Georgia without the stress of spending over half a grand. On top of that he was very nice and took me under the hood to show me exactly what was going on. They are definitely female-friendly and I would highly recommend this shop to tourists & locals.

Brought my van in that I just bought to be inspected mechanically. Also asked them to help me take out some bolts since I was doing some interior upgrades. I cant recommend Car Connex and Mr. Chang enough. They are great mechanics, explain issues in detail, honest, and their pricing is very fair for the quality service they provide. I have been a regular customer for various used cars I have owned for the past 10 years and I cant see myself going anywhere else as long as I live in the Metro Atlanta area.

2012 Dodge RAM. No washer fluid coming out. Fluid tank was full and I could hear the motor pumping but no washer fluid on my windshield. Took it to Car Connex on referral of Williams Park neighbors a few blocks away. Chang had it fixed in 10 minutes and would not accept payment. . Something was plugged up apparently. Rare to find someone so kind to fix a complete strangers vehicle and refuse payment. I am making Car Connex and Chang my shop from now on.

Even if you go to the dealer, LET CHANG check it out especially b/c dealers are always expensive. Lexus tried charging me $4,000 for a repair and I took it to Car Connex ASAP and Chang said I didnt need to do the repair. He is an honest mechanic used by myself, my dad, and my aunt. The mechanics here are a lifesaver! My car kept shutting off on me while driving, placing me in a dangerous position. I took it to the Dealership and they kept it for over a week only to tell me nothing was wrong with it. I had it towed to Car Connex and discussed what the car was doing and had it back the next day. I have not had a problem with it since. I will be bringing my car here for all of my car needs in the future.I saw a lot of reviews regarding not being able to understand the mechanics here and how strong of an accent they have. It may be because of my military experience, but I was able to understand all of them fine. If you have thoughts on what you think may be wrong with your car, write it out and let them explain why it is or isnt that problem. This may help with your understanding.I highly recommend!

Extremely honest and helpful. I went there because I wanted guidance on my tires to confirm how badly the needed replacing. He looked over entire car and gave me step by step recommendations on where to go for tires and what brands to get at best prices. Saw that I had car seats and reiterated the importance of good tires. He didn’t charge me a DIME to look over car and walk me through such a thoughtful recommendation.Please go , give them business. Amazing prices compared to the majority of mechanics in the area. The work was completed in a timely manner and done well. The owner was very welcoming and spoke to me about his family. He seems like a genuinely nice guy that isn’t trying to rip you off. I will definitely be back! Also I will recommend his shop to many others.

Went with a friend to get his car fixed because the bumper was falling off. He said itd take about an hour and a half, so we waited at the Rev next door (great coffeeshop) and then came back at the time he said right as he was pulling out with the fixed car. Only cost I think $25. Great service.

I brought my car to Car Connex first thing this morning and I had my car back in a little over an hour. Professional and friendly service! I brought the car in the next morning and they were able to identify the issue in nearly 3 minutes. Was a customer when they were on Atlanta road years ago. Service was better then. First took it to them this year because battery and brake light would come on together and car was not operating properly. I suggested it might be an alternator. Was told the alternator was fine. I left but for over a month the two lights continued to come on with car driving erratically. When I returned they again misdiagnosed my car this time as a cable connection problem and charged me for cables holding it for 5 days because they misread my phone number on the sheet. Car jerked badly and almost stalled on the way home. Followed up to talk with Chang who was out of town. Wrote a letter explaining the problem asking him to address the actual issue I came to them for when he return from vacation. Never heard back. Called a week later and Chang claimed to never receive the letter although it was never returned by the post office. Car down for more than three weeks leaving me with no transportation. Finally found another mechanic elsewhere who ran tests and diagnosed it as a failing alternator. Complained to Chang who told me the battery cables needed replacement but I did not ask for or need that repair job. I needed the alternator issue addressed so I could work. The down time, MARTA fees and Uber rides cost me a lot and left me stranded trying to resolve the issue. Car Connex has lost a long term customer.

Brought my car here after reading reviews, glad I did. Thought for sure my fuel pump was dead but Chang found it was the fuel pump control module, he could have bilked me for hundreds of dollars replacing the whole pump but his skill and honesty saved the day - he also got it fixed very quickly and charged me almost nothing for labor considering what he did to troubleshoot and what the local ford dealership would have charged. I am never bringing my vehicles anywhere else ever again, Chang is the best and theres also a really nice coffee shop nearby

The BEST mechanic shop in the Atlanta area. The staff and owner are always helpful and polite. And not to mention affordable. I love that Chang gives you the truth about your car. Mr. Chang is a master mechanic and an honest man. He would not even accept a cash tip after fixing problems with my car that several other licensed mechanics have failed to properly repair. I could hardly overstate my appreciation for Mr. Chang and his team. Ill be back!

Chang is very thorough and conscientious. He always carefully explains what needs to be done and uses illustrations on paper when needed. He seems to be honest and trustworthy. He has a knack at figuring out problems that other mechanics are unable to do such as stuck warning lights on instrument panels. I don’t know how he does it but he gets my car repaired usually in just a few hours.

Ive been taking my car to Car Connex since I moved here last Summer. Not knowing anyone here made it hard for me to choose a mechanic but the reviews made me want to give him a try. Im glad I did! Chang is the best mechanic I have ever met, and also the kindest. Weve been taking our cars to his shop the entire time weve lived in Atlanta, and he is always very honest with us about what is going on. He suggested that we not do any more repairs on the car I was driving and find a newer one, as it wouldnt be worth it to keep dumping money into it. He inspected EIGHT used cars for us, completely free of charge. We would never have been able to afford so many inspections and probably wouldve gone with one of the earlier cars, but he kept letting me bring the cars in and letting me know if there were any problems or potential problems with them. After 8 cars, he finally approved the perfect car with NO problems! It is amazing and Im so glad we were able to wait until we found the perfect one. Thank you, car connex for all the time you put in to make your customers happy!

After years at the car dealerships service center dealing with their nonsense, it was so refreshing to finally have someone that knows what theyre doing!! (on a Jeep Wrangler 2011) ... And does what they say theyll do super quick. I was pleased to save the contact info in my phone as my mechanic. Having Rev coffee right next door, as someone already pointed out, is a nice bonus!!

Ive gone to Car Connex for many years. The prices are always the most reasonable and the work is first rate. Friends with all kinds of cars say the same thing.One added benefit is that the local coffee shop, REV, is nearby. So I can drop off my car and get some work done while waiting.

The owner is a very rude little man who does NOT know what he is doing when it comes to break systems. I took my car in 3 different times with appointments and at one appointment he basically said he didnt have time. He was unwilling...flat out refused to explain the issue with my breaks, what and why he was going to do something (probably bc he didnt know what he was doing). I asked for him to replace my break pads regardless he didnt think they needed it and he wouldnt. I eventually left with my break system still making awful noises. Took my car to the dealership where they replaced my break pads and fluid flush and abracadabra... problem fixed...no more awful screeching noises and I feel a lot safer on the road. Dont go here and support such a foul business and person or waste your money. Go somewhere that has experience and knows what they are doing and are respectful to their customers.
