Great place with friendly helpful knowledgeable staff. Our laptop died, wouldnt charge or anything. They, for a very reasonable price, were able to rescue everything in memory. Now we only have to load all that data, songs pictures email, etc into the new laptop.

Basic and cheaply made parts and it shows. Did not carry any of the gaming name brand components or even things for basic things for repairs like thermal pads for graphics cards. In the world that we live in currently this would be a great thing for a computer store to sell as you cant get graphics cards so a lot of us are having to redo thermal paste and thermal pads depending on how bad they are or if youre switching your graphics card over to an AIO its a good idea to replace these things

Im not one to write bad reviews, but I had one of the worst customer service experiences that Ive ever had at this store.I was looking to build a new computer for streaming low spec games, so my boyfriend and I went to PC Gold for the parts - I could have gotten them much cheaper online, but we wanted to support a local business and he has gone there for years. We went in and gave my price range (around $1500 without monitors or taxes). The woman there said it wouldnt be possible to build one for that price. I knew that wasnt accurate, so we asked another worker, who grabbed the pieces that would fit that budget from their store, and those worked for what I wanted, so I paid for those and a small secondary monitor from their used section. As they were packing things up, we asked if we needed to buy cords for the used monitor. They said no, the cords were included.I got home and assembled the computer, but there were no cords for the monitor. Not an issue - they were busy that day, so I figured they just forgot to put them in the bag.We went back the next work day and explained that the monitor didnt have cords. The man there stated that he was 90% sure he put an HDMI cord in the motherboard box (note, this monitor didnt have an HDMI port). We said that it hadnt been in there - only a copy of Windows and the SSD. The woman who works there came into the conversation and with a very rude tone, said that she remembered putting the power cord in the box, and she remembered the man saying hed put a cord in, so they were in there. We explained again that they had not been in the box, but they continued arguing, finally offering the solution that we could buy new cords from them and return them when I found the cords. I didnt want to buy two cords I should have already had, so I said we would go home and double check.We went home, looked through everything vaguely near where I set up the computer, and even pulled apart the empty boxes to make sure the cords hadnt gotten stuck in one. There were no cords, so the next day we went back and explained the situation again. This time, the man claimed that both he and the woman had 100% remembered seeing both cords in the box, so he was sure I lost them in my work area. We explained that we had cleaned up my entire work area and they were nowhere to be seen. He then guessed that they had fallen out in my car (for that to have happened, the motherboard box would have had to have opened, had just the cords fall out without the bag tipping, and then somehow managed to close itself again). He suggested again that I buy more cords since I wasnt able to locate mine. Had they said at the beginning that we needed to buy the cords, I happily would have, but at this point, I was incredibly frustrated at their generally rude attitudes and refusal to address the issue of me not having actually received the cords. So instead, I returned the monitor because I had lost all interest in working with them.I always prefer to shop local when I can, but I will definitely be skipping this place from now on.

PC runs great. Some things were not mentioned in regards to price point leading the costs to be more than I was originally quoted. Also was told everything was setup and ready to go, when it was not. I had to go back for a few things that didnt get put in the box. Also had to tinker with some stuff myself on the software side to complete my setup and get access to my main hard drive. Aside from some miscommunication and minor oversight, the PC is very powerful and runs MS Fight Sim 2020 on max flawlessly. My advice is double check your work before confirming it with the customer. Folks pay a good chunk of money for this stuff, so please be accurate. Beyond that great service and amazing machine.

Needed a mother board flashed to support the Gen 9 Intel processors. Price was very reasonable and turn around was much quicker that dealing with the manufacturer for warranty work! My laptop reached the end of its life and died on me a while back so I had to get a new PC for both gaming and for home family use. I went into the store this morning expecting to price a machine and maybe pick up a few parts to begin a build, and ended up walking out with a pre-built machine in hand. Very friendly and honest staff, Ive worked in the PC gaming industry in sales in the past and this place has got some very fair pricing, and an honest business model. I look forward to doing business with them in the future and when it comes time to upgrade my machine Ill definitely be stopping by.

Face masks required I get that but, have some available for your customers instead of turning them away. Im sorry PC Gold done lots of business with you over the years but from now on its amazon for me. Im not going to go drive around to buy a mask then return to the store to buy something.

Hard drive went out in my laptop and these people were very helpful and straightforward in getting it fixed. Much cheaper than I expected too. I got the impression they could help you whether you were an experienced gamer looking for something fancy or a two finger typer like me.

After getting a quote from Best Buy, I came to PC Gold. The hard fact is they will do a better job, faster and for less money. At no time did I feel as if I was being taken advantage of. On the contrary, I felt that they had my best interests at heart and did not want to milk me. This is a good feeling when you dont know what you dont know. I will forever now go to PC Gold for my computing needs.

I always get good service here. The staff is helpful and seem to know the product. The only complaint I would have is that they are closed on Sundays. I dont see this as a bad thing, but it is my only complaint.

Really cool place! Most things really reasonably priced, some things a little overpriced. Bought an SSD Crucial MX500 for $136, friend told me they were cheaper on Amazon and Newegg after purchasing. Still enjoyed the store, friendly service and a good variety of products. I would recommend, however, maybe double check your competitors and make adjustments as needed. (I dont mind paying a little more to have it NOW versus waiting for delivery, but almost $25 more is a bit much. Would still recommend however, sorry for the long review.

A small and nice little gem, perfect for anyone from nerdy past-timers to the video gaming recluse. The cashier was very kind and knew exactly where I needed to go to find the cord I was looking for. Also it has a nice environment and is very clean and tidy.

I went in to get the PSU for my gaming rig tested and it came back testing good, the folks here were all friendly and courteous and took time to hear out the problem I was dealing with in my PC and tested the unit I thought might be my culprit, unfortunately for me it was not my problem hardware but thanks to the great staff at PC Gold I didnt buy something that I didnt need! Their new store is also huge! I didnt get a chance to browse but it looks like the merchandise selection had grown substantially which is great! We need some good PC hardware stores in town.

I greatly appreciate having a store in town that sells computer parts locally, these guys have saved my butt a couple of times by having parts and such at a fair price, considering no waiting for shipping. I was genuinely in heart stop mode when I saw the sign missing at their old location. The new store looks like a much better fit.

We buy all of our computer parts from PC Gold since theyre nearly always as cheap as online, we dont have to wait, and they make returns hassle free. Management is always willing to go the extra mile when there is an issue, but some of the staff arent always enthusiastic when helping customers. Overall, their products are fairly priced. We go there for the inventory, not necessarily the customer service. If you have an issue, I recommend just asking for a manager.

Im always blown away by how knowledgeable and down-to-earth PC Golds staff are. They listen to what you need, explain your options, and always recommend solutions that work. I cant even tell you how much money and time theyve saved me. Plus, at no point have I felt like I was being given a spiel or fed BS. Try getting that experience at Best Buy. If you havent already discovered this gem of a business, go to them the next time your PC needs work or you need a part. You will be surprised just how painless computer maintenance can actually be.

Just purchased a custom PC for gaming. The gentleman that helped me spent 45 minutes explaining everything and never once tried to upsale me. A wonderful experience from beginning to end. They even answered all my dumb questions without making me feel like a total noob.

Great selection, great prices, wonderful staff. I just wished they were open on sundays, but their religious choices are respectable and are viewed accordingly in my eyes. Just picked up some used 2.5 hdds for some older laptops that i didnt want to invest a lot of money in. $8 for 500gb and $5 for 250gb. They both work just fine too. $13 in used parts to get 2 laptops back up and running, if even only in the short term.

I needed a new fan for my gaming PC. I was able to get the part for only $30. I paid extra for installation, but that was fine with me as I wanted to ensure it was done correctly and they also would clean out the insides of my PC. The work was done quickly and they even performed a stress test to ensure the computer would operate within normal heat parameters.

I was amazed to find the laptop adapter I needed here for way cheaper than that evil chain store up the street. The selection in this place is good for some items like motherboards, but poor for others like SSDs as they often carry only one or two brands of a certain item.They still provide good service and are very knowledgeable.

Went in to buy a garbage fire priced laptop and was pleasantly surprised to find that even though I paid basically nothing for it, the little 100$ turd of a laptop I bought actually works great. If they can pack that much quality into a 100$ laptop, I cant imagine how good an actal desktop would be. Also saved me some cash when I brought my desktop in fearing the worst. Turned out it just had dust.

Not big on printers, but has motherboards & video cards, tower cases and processors. You can build a system here. They also have memory (RAM), SDcards, USB flash drives, keyboards, mice, hard drives and SSD drives.

They always have good prices for their computer parts.
