Allen at Mac Pros was great to work with! He was very willing to dig in and see what was wrong with our iMac. We figured we’d need to get a whole new computer and he tried everything possible to make sure it wasn’t an easy solution or a matter of rebooting and cleaning things up before we decided we would need to do more. He was very helpful at helping us decide between a new computer or just switching the hard drives, which ended up being much more economical. I am also super appreciative of the tips and tricks he shared to my non-tech savvy self to keep things running more smoothly in the future as well! I also want to add that we took our computer in and got it back the same day!

I’ve come to Mac pros for numerous things over the years. From purchasing new products and fixing / updating older devices. I stopped in today and their front desk staff member was excellent. I really appreciate the great customer service. They’re extremely fast and efficient. I also love that they’re locally and family owned.

As a newbie and not to sure about Mac products I called the store and talked to Carter and asked a million questions from updates to product reviews and what was going to be best for my work and he had answers for everything from warranties and updates why purchasing one Mac over another would be best suited for my business! If you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to stop in and look for Carter!

I don’t know if new ownership totally changed the way business is done, but this location is running a business model that frankly isn’t sustainable when much of the service performed requires fixing machines used for work. My keyboard needed to be replaced and so I scheduled an appointment with them that day. They said after the part was received, I would have to leave my laptop with them for 3 business days until the repairs were complete. I asked if I could instead be called when it was my turn for repair, and was told “no”. Ok, so if I was to drop this off on a Thursday, I’d have to wait until Tuesday to get it back?! That’s a lot of productivity lost to do a quick repair. Totally unacceptable.I used to go to Mac Pros for everything, but unless some fixes are made to the servicing side of operations, I will never return and cannot recommend anyone to go there.

Went in to see what is wrong with my AirPods didn’t check to see or bother looking up vin number for warranty purposes... claim it was fake AirPods by comparing a brand new unused one to ours... didn’t either bother to help.. just told us he believed it was fake... when it wasn’t at all....

My daughter took her Mac Book Pro (June 2019 model) in as it was acting up. She had video on her phone what it was doing and showed the tech. They did a diagnostic and couldnt find anything and charged $50 and she picked it up the next day. It completely crashed after it was in their possession that next day.I would highly recommend Mac Doctors as they were able to find an affordable solution with friendly customer service and knowledgeable techs!

I turned in my dead slow mini deskstop and they were able to quickly diagnosis the problem. Not only that, they even made a very good option offer to satisfy my need at very good price. They had it done in a few hours and my desktop is even faster than ever. Totally happy with that. Thank you guys!

I went to Mac Pros today to upgrade my RAM for my MacBook Pro. The team in there is friendly and professional and very well trained. In fact the gentleman that helped me is actually a backroom technician named Christopher who was out front doing customer service. Hes actually terrific at both! Not only did he have the RAM sticks that I needed, he also introduced me to the latest Mac products and I was particularly concerned about the new iTunes platform which is being divided into three Apps now. I was so relieved to see his demonstration that everything is going to work perfectly and we will probably be migrating to brand new laptops soon for the company for all of our performers. Im never disappointed when I go to this business. They always have the perfect solution. Highly recommend!!!

Giving 3 stars because the man who helped me in the store was very nice and friendly, otherwise I’d probably give it a 1. Brought my 4 month old iPhone 11 Max Pro a week ago today in because the speaker blew unexpectedly. It ended up failing the audio test so they said they would send it to Apple’s warehouse to be fixed. At first, I was told it’d be 1-3 days so I wouldn’t qualify for a loaner phone. Then, it got switched to 4-6 days when they called me after I left. Called yesterday (6 days since bringing it in) and they told me that they were seeing it had just gotten there the day before but they had no more information. The guy was very apologetic and encouraged me to call back every day to get an update. Called today and the employee was very short and rude & was absolutely no help at all to know the status of my phone. Thank goodness I had my old iPhone 7 to use or else I wouldn’t have had a phone for a week now (but I don’t “qualify” for a loaner because it was supposed to be within 1-3 days.) I understand that they don’t have a ton of information - that’s on Apple and not on the employees. However, the service and way you treat customers should always be 100% and this man’s was definitely not. Wish he had said his name so I knew who to specifically call out but he never said.

I recently brought my 2018 IPad Pro in as it wouldn’t take a charge. It seemed to be headed back to Apple and not be covered under warranty. Which would cost me $650 for replacement... The store ran a couple quick diagnostic checks found the problem was more software than physical and got my iPad up and running. Not only did they save me $650 but didn’t even charge me a service/diagnostic fee! Thanks

Although they fixed my phone, they did it in a very redundant way. I had a microphone that wasnt working due to debris inside of it. I told them I backed up my phone (as you always should when bringing it in to be looked at) and the technicians, knowing that information, the first thing they tried was to restore the the phone to factory settings. That is NOT the first thing that you should try and that is NOT the first thing that an Apple Store would do. They would run a full diagnostics on the phone to pinpoint the issue first and then fix the phone without deleting all the data off of it. If you do have these guys look at your phone, make sure to back up all your data to a computer and keep that data safe.

Over the past few years Ive sold a macbook and ipad to these guys and have bought an ipad from them also Ive had my iphone 8+ serviced by them, so after having the full experience I feel I can give a good review. They gave me a fair price for what I sold them, the ipad I bought was new so that was no different from any other place, getting my iphone a new battery was a breeze and they did an excellent job of replacing it. They might as well be an official Apple Store with how good they are. They are an official apple reseller and service center so even better!

We went into the store to buy a new Mac book pro since ours was ten years old and getting pretty slow. We brought our old computer with us so they could transfer data to the new one. The sales person came up to help us and when we told him that we were looking at buying a new Mac book pro because ours was so old. He asked to look at our old computer saying that we may not need a new one. After an hour of running some cleaning programs he and a technician said they thought we just needed a new ‘mother board’ which ran around $260. We left the computer there overnight and by the next morning our computer was done. I was so impressed that they had a customer who was willing to buy a new computer but they saved us a lot of money by just fixing our old one. To me that is top notch customer service! We will definitely be going back to them for our computer needs.

Gary has a great shop. superb customer service staff and solid equipment service. they are usually pretty busy with other customers so be prepared to wait your turn patiently. just remember theyre giving other customers the thorough customer service that youre about to receive. If you have specific questions its a good idea to call ahead of time. Ive always been a PC guy but after spending time at this shop, I am now a PC and Mac guy.

Went in to have my phone replaced but instead they reset my phone and I lost all my information, on top of that I was charged $25. So if you want to pay and lose all your information this is the place to go!

Incredibly poor service. My touchpad stopped working so I took my computer in, the man that helped me was very rude. And when I inquired about the diagnosis of the computer (because they already quoted me a price) I was told “sometimes electronics malfunction”. Then when my brother went to pick it up, the touch pad still didn’t work, so he had to wait an extra 30-45 minutes for them to replace another part. Customer service is poor and they do not thoroughly or accurately diagnose your computer. I do not recommend visiting.

I have had a good experience every time I have come into the store. Today I came in to get my phone serviced. I described my issue and their tech said one moment and fixed my phone in two seconds. No charge he said. I had even been to Verizon and they wanted to get me a new phone. Thanks guys

After have an hour long conversation with Apple support to fix a glitch on my iPhone 11 and being treated like I was incompetent by an Apple senior representative, I called Mac Pros to help me fix the issue. I was five hours away from home and really needed access to my phone. They never made me feel incompetent and were all very kind and genuine. After an hour, my iPhone problem was resolved, and they didn’t charge me a dime.

I brought my computer in to have ONE of the keys fixed on Jan 18 and I went in yesterday (Jan 24) and they havent even touched it. They had my computer for 6 days and it was just in the back collecting dust. They didnt touch it, they didnt do anything with it. Even though I told them that I needed it done promptly because of college and need my computer to be efficient. So I went in and got my computer and Im going to take it to an apple store where they will be able to resolve the issue in ONE day, and not take 3 weeks to diagnose the problem. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with their initiative to get things done and also there customer service was very unreliable and werent very helpful. I suggest if you need to get your computer fixed that you take it to an apple store to save yourself the headache, but most importantly the time.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Gary and his crew werent afraid to take on a challenge that 2 other local Apple stores werent willing to do. He risked losing money not knowing what the outcome would be. Id say that if youre thinking about buying a computer from a box store where the prices are exactly the same, id think again and give these guys a chance. Apple products are very reliable but sometimes when you have a problem it can be a challenge. I want these guys on my side next time! So you think you have to have it now because the box store has it, think again. When your computer has to be sent out, they run your computer through a mill and will send it back broken and doing what it did when you sent it in. Local box store - Id be concerned for my Apple biz if I were you. These guys are showing you up big time! Thank you Mac Pros!

They only do enough to get you out the door. Had a MacBook pro in. They said Hard drive was fine but lost all on it. 2 weeks later, did same thing. Took it to Simply Mac. They ran extensive test and found hard drive was bad. Lazy!

Ive had Macs and iDevices serviced here for years, and Ive never been short of completely satisfied. The service staff are highly knowledgeable, and always deliver as promised and on time. The retail store is small, but clean, well-organized, and surprisingly well stocked with apple and 3rd party accessories. As an aside, they are just as impressively tolerant of kids playing with the display iPads as folks in Apple Stores are.

My grand daughter accidentally spilled water on my MacBook Pro and the lights went out. After receiving a call from Mac Pros with a diagnosis of corrosion on the logic board, I hesitated to spend the $800+ for repair to a 3 year old computer, but went ahead eventually. Service at Mac Pro interceded on my behalf with Apple and the repair cost $0.00! Yes, I am more than satisfied with their service.

I wish I could give them less than one star. They stated my laptop was fixed, both in person and on the return sheet. However, the same problem was present when I tried to use it. So they basically held my laptop for three weeks and did nothing. Take the extra time to go some place else.

My Macs USBs stopped working a month ago,and I finally decided to stop by to see the cost of getting them fixed. I had bought my Macbook Pro at Mac Pros in October so I was hoping it would be under warranty.After stopping by, the checkout my computer found the issue (logic board problem). The best part was that they had it fixed in just over 24 hours! Fast great Service! Ill definitely buy from their store again.

My wife bought Mac there. Literally a month after the default manufacturers warranty, the hard drive fried. Went back to MacPros to see if they could at least get the data off the drive. They couldnt. Had them look at the computer and they said the only thing wrong was the hard drive, so I purchased a new one through them. (Not cheap, I might add.) Had a 12 month warranty. Well, 13onths later & surprise! Another one bites the dust. Then they have the audacity to call me to tell me that they have recovered the data from the original drive, but itll cost $200 for me to get it from them. Uh. No thanks. $2,000 already pissed down the drain. My wife literally only uses the computer for Facebook and Pinterest. MacPros will never get another dime from me!

Everytime I come in there with a question about my Mac Pro, or any of my apple products I always get assisted right away and they also give me more information about anything I need to know. I have used them to mirror my data from my old broken mac to a new one and they bought my old broken one from me! They are by far my favorite Apple store here in town and I trust them to help me with any of my apple needs! :D

Our initial experience was good, and ended up buying a laptop there. but from there the client service has gone down hill, in fact there is none. We were told we could purchase the Apple care up to 60 days after purchase, with no other stipulations. When I called on the phone to do so, a week before the 60 days was up, was then told we had to bring the computer to the store so they could check it out before selling us the warranty .We live over 60 miles from Sioux Falls, but they would not make any exceptions. We ended up having to make an unexpected trip to SF due to a dr. appointment, so we brought the computer to purchase the warranty . My daughter was treated rudely, the salesman did not want to honor the price we were initially quoted, and we were told it really should have been purchased on the same day as we purchased the computer. We were not told any of these things on the purchase day. If you go there expecting good client service, you will be disappointed. Save some money and purchase at Best Buy.
