We needed to get new appliances as soon as possible. We started off looking at Best-Buy, Lowell’s, then Home Depot. We wandered around the stores for hours looking at everything then wandered around again for another hour looking for someone to try and help us. After a hour my wife got frustrated and we gave up and left. Headed into Karl’s and didn’t take more than 5 steps into the store before this amazing salesman or should I say sales hero named Drew swooped down from the heavens and walked around with us to show us their enormous selection. The Amazing Drew helped us pick out the perfect appliances. He was so knowledgeable about everything it was like he was a walking computer. I would advise anyone who’s thinking about getting new appliances don’t even waist your time looking anywhere else, just call The Amazing Drew at Karl’s and save your time and money in the long run. He truly is a life saver. Our new appliances look and work wonderfully in our kitchen. We don’t fight over the old ones being broken or not working properly anymore and probably saved our marriage because of it. So thanks to The Amazing Drew again for helping us save our marriage by just being himself and helping us to find out appliances after no one else would even give us the time of day.

Our sales associate Chris K. has always been the best. We have been working with him for over 15 years. He makes us feel like we are his only customer when we know he is very busy. He has made every purchase pleasant and friendly! He recently just helped us find all new appliances for our home with ease.

Ya know...I like Karls. A while ago I went and did a discount purchase at some big box store and realized what a Mistake I had made. I didnt really save any money... So when it came time to get my family a new washer and dryer, Karls was where I went and Im certainly glad for the decision. They are knowledgeable. Great staff. The only complaint I have is the return policy. We bought a microwave. Three days later we wanted to exchange it for a different one. It was still in the box and not opened. We were told we could only exchange for same price or higher. This is something that should be discussed at purchase. They did make it right and we exchanged it. Would recommend

Karls employees took quick action as soon as I walked into the door. Very quick on the computer for what I needed to buy there. Delivery employees were also good.

They are very good at giving updates if your item is on back order. Nice and polite.

My Mom has bought appliances from you for years. She has never had a problem with delivery people. They were not helpful at all! She just had a fridge and fireplace delivered. The delivery people wouldn’t hook up her water because she had a plastic hose. No one told her when she bought it that she had to get a different type of one. They also wouldn’t help her carry out the old tv stand where her new fireplace is now sitting. They said they aren’t alllowed to do that. They unhooked her tv cause it was super heavy and moved that but they didn’t put it back together the way it was when they got there. Now her stuff doesn’t work right cause she isn’t the one that hooked it up in the first place. My hubby did and we are 4 hours away. My mom has never had any issues with delivery people before. They just kept saying we can’t do that, we aren’t allowed to do that. They used to be able to help before. My mom was so unhappy! She will never ever buy from you ever again! You lost a lifetime customer because of the delivery crew.

Todd Rensch was a very capable sales person and he did a good job of giving information, placing the order and following through after the delivery and install. The install guys were very proficient and knowledgeable and quick to get the jobs done correctly.The Frigidaire Gallery Series (Induction stove, microwave, dishwasher) and the LG Door-On-Door appliances are exactly what was wanted. All are working beautifully and enhance the look of a quite small kitchen area.Many Thanks to All who were involved.

Got a great deal on a new fridge after ours died at their Presidents Day sale. Salesman who helped me was very good... however no one did attempt to help me at all the 10 minutes or so I was in there looking, I had to find him. Only thing that kept this from a 5 star review. Delivery dudes were great.

I purchased an oven form the Sioux falls store on a Friday night, not having any on hand they had to get it in from the wearhouse, which is in Sioux falls.I got told that it would not be in the store delivery truck Monday so maybe Wednesday it might come. I offered to drive across town to get it but was told no one can go to the wear house but employees. Checking wed I was told it was not on the truck. Finally it came in on Friday and I got a call saying I could pick it up. So it took a week to get an appliance that they had on hand across town, that I was picking up. I found this to be rediculious and bad customer service

Worst store in town!!!! Drew is rude and condescending, I was looking to buy appliances for my home and 8 rental homes and he wouldn’t take the time to talk to me, I was patient as I understand people are busy. I would recommend any other place but here, even the manager Tom Johnson wouldn’t give the time of day to a paying customer. Very sad and disappointed the service has dropped to this level.

My niece bought a dryer from your establishment for her home and was told that KARLS would not install in their home cause of odor issues. She bough previous appliances there before now she bought dryer, they wont install and she has to take laundry elsewhere. Hope you dont treat customers like this and then be on tv saying you service what you sell.

Karls always gives us great customer service. We just bought a dishwasher after our old one started leaking. They were able to sell me a new one over the phone for a great price and made every effort to come deliver it and install it sooner than they were available. I would never trust buying an appliance from anyone else. Our salesperson Tom really cared about us and took the time to make sure everything went smooth and let us know everything available without being pushy. Now we have a beautiful new dishwasher and couldnt be happier. Karls will always be our first and only choice.

Pleasant experience, busy place so you may end up waiting a bit for assistance but I bought a grill right before a deal started for fathers day and they honored my purchase and are sending me a check to match the deal!Update;Didnt receive a check and have called about it multiple times.. they always make me leave a message and then never call me back! To top it off the grill has had more issues than the one my dad has had for years🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Our freezer kept quitting and had to be unplugged to start working again. A part had to be ordered for it. Finally, the freezer quit and wouldn’t start again. I called and the part wasn’t there and they were waiting on the shipment for that day to come in. A few hours later they called back and came right out to fix it. Excellent customer service all around.

Mahlanders has great customer service and knowledge of their stock.After being jerked around for a month, I finally had to cancel my order. Then it took 3 weeks to get credit back from my return. They do not understand the products they are selling.

We had never been here before and were shocked when we were greeted by a receptionist, at a retail store?! And offered water or coffee? Very impressive. Not something we have much of in this area.. the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the products offered wide in variety and price ranges. This is a place we will be returning to.

Was looking to purchase a gas range. And right away we had just what we needed and since we lived in Minnesota and this store was in Souix falls sd. They found a stove closer to our home for the delivery. Thank you. Love my gas range.

We purchased new Samsung appliances in July 2019. We had the dishwasher replaced once. The replacement we received has had to be fixed three times. Last fix was two weeks ago and it started leaking again on Saturday. I waiting for Karl’s to offer to start washing our dishes by hand.We had the refrigerator replaced once and have had the ice maker replaced twice.I realize Karl’s does not manufacture this equipment, but I wonder why they sell this brand.The are going to replace the dishwasher and refrigerator again. If we have problems with the new ones, I am going to want everything replaced. This includes Mixrowave, oven, dishwasher and refrigerator. We bought these so we would have matching appliances.

I needed a chest freezer for my son and his wife. Drew ordered me one and actually convinced me to get a larger one because there would be less waiting on back order. It came in pretty much to the day Drew said.

Well, after 2 months of total chaos and having to reorder or go find a new one because they ordered the wrong one. They did honor the contract, and we finally have a new dishwasher. Just bought a combo washer and dryer unit from Karls. Woman we worked with was nice and showed us what we were looking for. Didnt try to over sell on something we didnt need. Got us in right away for delivery same week. Install and take away of old units is a huge plus. I enjoy working with Karls. Small enough store to not have to be walking everywhere to find what you need but big enough to have a wide selection of products to choose from. Great deals heading into the holidays get them while they last!

I went to the store very desperate to easily get a new clothes dryer by myself because my husband had just been in the hospital and was home ill. Andrew assisted me and was very helpful. He gave me the info I needed and helped find the easiest and fastest way for me to get a new dryer and get it installed. I very much appreciated his kindness and efficiency in getting the task accomplished. The dryer is due to arrive tomorrow, I cant wait! I have several loads of laundry to get washed and dried. Poor customer service, everyone there was more interested in watching the Packers and Vikings play than they were wanting to sell anything... 7+ people standing around getting paid to watch football what a job!!! Well I took my business to Lowe’s instead.... got a very good deal on a washer and dryer set (@Lowe’s)

I didnt shop around a lot - so maybe I was overcharged, but Karls got me a washer and dryer in my house, the very next day. I stopped in, spoke to a sales rep, got a bunch of signatures handled and next day I have a lovely washer and dryer set in my basement, installed, ready to go. I even called the day of delivery to switch to an electric dryer instead, and they switched it out and refunded the difference that same day. Seriously - NO HASSLE. They explained everything crystal clear, from the warranty, to the costs and fees. I had a great experience with Karls.

Spent over 12000 for kitchen appliances for our new home. The appliances were installed by Karl’s service technicians. Found a scratch on our 3400 dollar LG fridge that clearly was an install or existing blemish and not from our doing. If you don’t see it in 30 days they tell you to pound sand and do nothing about it. Needless to say I know we’ll make all appliances and TV purchases elsewhere from this point on.

I found it disappointing with their latest commercial declaring memorial day as a time to relax. Memorial day is the time to recognize those Americans who have fallen. Karl’s continues to use “ holidays” that honor our veterans as an opportunity to make money. Sadly, they are not the only company that does this.

Paid for appliances and had to wait 2 months before the final 1 of 4 was installed, complete nightmare trying to get rebates through Karls and LG

Have dishwasher with extended warrenty service has been out six times 2 motors, one mother board, two sets of hoses, still have issues. The cost at this point has far exceeded the original cost of dishwasher. This has been going on for 12 weeks. There has been very poor communication on Karls side about all of this, service tech on evenings was one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. The elevator music when you are on hold talks about service after the sale, I have yet to see this after six times our over 3 months tech still does not have it fixed. Really question if service people know what they are doing. Im really frustrated st this point. Will consider buying elsewhere in future. 9/22/20 edit now washing machine stopped working guess what wha wha wha warrenty just expired. Even though front of machine says 10 yrs warrenty on direct drive machine they s as us your looking at 400 dollars. They are really unhelpful will be shopping somewhere else

Went to big box stores first looking for a particular brand of dehumidifier. No luck in stores and all other store phone calls I made were automated with numbers to press for my inquiry. Until I called Karl’s. I talked to a person who was friendly and helpful. They had the product I was looking for, bonus, on sale. Very helpful and friendly service. I would definitely come to this store again! Thank you Karls.
