The past 2 summers I have lived in the 735 S First apartments and it was definitely by choice. For someone who is looking for a short term rental, fully furnished, close to all the attractions downtown AND for a good price, this is the spot for you. After my first summer here I fell in love with how accommodating the apartment is, from their fully functional kitchen to the high pressure showers and back to the smart TV that you can watch anything you want. When needing some time out and about, you simply walk 3 minutes north and you are in the center of Sioux Falls. Walk another 10 minutes and you are actually at the Falls! I will for sure be coming back for another stay with Erickson Properties in the near future.

I have stayed in 3 of your furnished rentals ( Shabby Chic, Farmhouse, and Brown duplex) and each provided a feeling of home. Excellent locations. Walking distance to work, downtown and to McKennan Park. Safe neighborhoods with kind neighbors at each location. The choice to settle into Sioux Falls quickly, without moving a household into storage, was made easier having the wonderful fully furnished unit provided by this company! The location was perfect! I had everything I needed for a long term stay while I started my new position and looked for permanent housing!

The home we rented exceeded our expectations; it was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the living room furniture was great and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners and manager we very professional and checked with us to make sure we had everything we needed.When we arrived we felt immediately at home and really enjoyed the surrounding area of Riverdale Park. We are cyclist so the easy access to the bike trail was a wonderful bonus.The neighborhood was clean and quiet and we felt welcome and safe. Although the interstate traffic could be heard when outdoors we found it didn’t negatively effect our stay.The bunnies, squirrels, deer, and fireflies added a nice bit of charming nature in the yard. We were an easy 2 1/2 mike walk from downtown and a nice 1.3 mile walk to the historic McKennan park area. We intend to return to Sioux Falls in five years and rent again from Tony and Christine.

They went out of their way to create a welcoming atmosphere. My “needs” were limited due to the up front communication, full amenities, and quality of unit. When I did need something, they were responsive and resolved the need to my satisfaction.I would 1000% recommended them if you are looking for a short term, beautiful place to call home while in Sioux Falls, SD.

Hands down the best!! Anyone needing a short term rental situation need to check them out!! The places are immaculate.. I love how the one price is for everything, and I don’t have to worry about a separate bill for utilities and such. All that I needed was provided..OMG, I loved the Keurig!!!! Whatever question I had, they were responsive and timely… You can’t beat the value, and the privacy you have… it feels like home away from home!!

I enjoyed my stay. The apartment was clean and cozy! It had everything I needed. The kitchen was well supplied where I could cook nice meals on the stove and in the oven. The location is fantastic. I loved being by near the park and felt very safe to go for walks. I was only a mile from the hospital which was very convenient. Christine and staff were very responsive and great to work with! I had a fantastic experience all-around and highly recommend these rentals!

I was more then pleased with my stay. I needed a place for 2 months and when they tell you all you need to bring are your clothes they mean it. The apartments are totally furnished especially the kitchen with everything you need to cook and anything else that you need in a kitchen. I would recommend using Tony and Christine for any short term stays. They are super nice people who care about your stay. You will be very happy and I would stay here again in a heart beat!!!!

I traveled for an assignment and stayed at the 735 1st ave location for 3 months. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and in a perfect location. No matter where I went I never traveled more then 10 to 15 min. I would recommended staying at this location. Definitely a 5 star!! Tony and Christina are great hostesses.

I recently stayed for 5 months at 900 S Phillips #1. I absolutely loved my time here! The apartment is furnished very chic and cozy. Everything you could possibly need is provided, from tools to cookware. I always felt very secure with the locks and outdoor lighting. The location could not be better. Close to everything you would need; restaurants, shops, and parks. Tony and Christine are excellent landlords who respond to questions almost immediately and make the moving in and moving out very easy for their tenants. I would definitely rent from them again and would highly endorse them for anyone else!

I was able to find this place when I was traveling from New Orleans. Tony is very quick with responding and attentive to any issues if necessary. The place was beautiful and convenient for me being so close to the hospital.

Our two month stay at 1707 S Phillips (upstairs) was wonderful. Close enough to walk to downtown, through beautiful neighborhoods. Also close to medical and shopping. Hosts were very quick to respond to our questions and needs. The apartment was very well appointed and comfortable. Heating and cooling, worked great as we needed both during Sept and Oct months. Many amenities.

My experience here at Sioux Falls furnished rentals was absolutely amazing the unit I stayed in was the music theme it was absolutely beautiful and well decorated.. the building was always kept cleaned they also do a great job at keeping the snow removed there is also free washer and dryer in the building which was a plus for me Tony and his wife are amazing and always remained very professional

I was supposed to come for travel assignment for Covid and my assignment got cancelled. Not only did Tony not hold me liable to the lease I signed, he refunded my deposit as well and was very understanding of the circumstances. I am saddened I wasn’t able to stay at their apartment as it looked perfect and it is hard to find landlords as helpful and accommodating as a traveler. Thanks again guys!

I stayed for 6 months at the 900 S Phillips ave rental and loved it. The location was amazing - about a 5 minute walk to all of the stores and restaurants in downtown Sioux Falls. The furnishings were incredible, there was everything you could ever need in an apartment as well as an incredibly comfortable king sized bed. Tony and Christine were awesome landlords and gave assistance with anything and everything I needed.

This was perfect for my 3 month stay in Sioux Falls. The apartment had everything necessary for my stay. I did not need to bring anything. Honestly, it was nicer than if I would have furnished the place myself! Conveniently located near downtown Sioux Falls. Wonderful AC unit that kept my place cool during the hot summer days. Really have no suggestions for improvement it was wonderful!

The Ericksons were the best landlords wed ever day. Any questions we had they had answers and a solution within hours (and it usually didnt even take an hour). My dad stayed in one of these units while my mom was hospitalized nearby. It was conveniently close for him, and a huge blessing to have a place to get needed rest nearby...one less thing for him to worry about. The place was spacious, clean, well-equipped, and my dad said the bed was super comfy!

We stayed in these apartments when we were in town for extended periods for hospital trips with our daughter. Everything was nicely furnished, clean and exceptionally well taken care of. Their rental properties were first class! It was truly like a home away from home!

Toni was great to work with and seemed very compassionate to our situation!! We are from Alaska and he made sure we had a comfortable home away from home!! The room had plenty of room, laundry, and a garage! I would highly recommend his apartments to anyone coming for a long term stay. We were here with my mother who was recovering from a stroke in Avera McKennan Hospital in the Prairie Center. It was also nice that the room was close to the hospital!!

I stayed at a property of Tony and Christine’s during a 13 week travel nursing contract. I was extremely pleased with my stay. The apartment was true to form to its pictures and was very clean upon initial move in. Tony and Christine were also very friendly and helped me when any problems arose. For example, my dryer stopped giving off heat and Christine made sure that someone was there the next day to fix it. If anyone is looking for a place to stay in the Sioux Falls area, I would definitely give them a call. If I’m ever back in the area, I know I will!

The apartment was perfect for what I needed. It was clean and had everything necessary for my 1 month stay. Best value for a short term lease. I checked out renting a cheaper unfurnished apartment and just using an air mattress, but once I figured in setting up the utilities and internet for the 1 or 2 months it would have cost me about the same as this furnished apartment (with a shared washer and dryer in the 4-plex). Plus, I was able to have a garage to keep my car out of the cold and snow. Then I didnt have to bother with those details, it was comfortable and felt like an actual home.Tony and his wife were great and easy to work with. Getting in and checking out was super easy. He responded promptly to texts, but I didnt have any issues during the stay. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a short term apartment. Cant be at the value!
