My husband and our children have lived in a property managed by Charisma for a little over four years at the time of writing this. The folks at the office have always been very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance staff has been prompt to resolve the few minor instances weve had. Weve really enjoyed living in this property and love our neighbors. The neighbors have always been courteous when our kids are playing outside, driving slowly in and out of the parking lot.

I stay at one of their units rn, cedar ridge to be exact. Not only have they been slow in responding to my fear of being in danger, I had to reach out to them personally before someone acknowledged my email. They still haven’t gotten back to me about it or even seem to be doing anything, but they made sure to tell me to call the police though. On top of that, they never tell you that when you request a new key that you’ll also be paying 70$ just for the maintenance people to bring said key to you. I still live in an apartment that’s too hot despite calling the same maintenance people to come and fix it. My apartment is full of ants all over the floor and I still have a refrigerator and ac unit that look like they haven’t been changed for over 5 years; they both look like they’re rusting. Although the staff is nice and quick to move you in, they don’t necessarily show up as much when you’ve already signed the contract. It’s definitely not worth the price of 595$ a month… I will not be resigning a lease with them.

I have lived at one of the properties that they manage for two years. The staff is friendly and very responsive when something is needed. Everything is well maintained and the tenant dashboard on their website is easy to navigate. Thumbs up!

Yesterday I looked at an apartment that was reasonably priced. Candy told me they took over this property management and are getting things organized. She had a deposit box full of unlabeled keys. But fortunately the apartment I was looking at, had a label for it. Candy was professional in showing the apartment that still needed to be cleaned out. The tenant kept everything pretty well taken care of.I loved the dark wood cabinets with the stainless appliances and wood floors in the kitchen. I love the fact that they said the underground parking was included and that I could rent a garage for my boat as well. I think it is great that they have a wash bay for your vehicle for free to use. I cant wait to move in a few weeks. Good value apartment in the Sioux falls area. Charisma property was accommodating for me to drive the 4 hours to look at the property. Thank you Candy and Candace. Cant wait to see the apartment after it is cleaned out!!After dealing with Alpine property management last week, I will never lease from them. It was so bad, that I physically called the owner of the property so he was aware of their horrific customer service a d belittling another tenant that lived at the town house.

My family and I have lived at a Charisma property since 2017. They are always attentive to the property and its needs. They are very quick to respond to a maintenance need, and we have never had an issue with it not getting done correctly. When I go to the office, they ask how I have been, whats new with myself or my family, and truly care about their tenants as if we are long time friends. You will not find any property management company who is as kind and caring as Charisma.

I love the size of my apartment, it feels large and very open in the kitchen/dining/living area which is why I picked this apartment to begin with. Ive been there two years about to renew my lease again as you just cant find an apartment this size for this price. The location is great - quick and easy for me to get anywhere I need. Whenever a maintenance request is put in it is done promptly. Parking does suck as they packed all the buildings in to a small area but if you have a garage its not so bad because you also get a parking spot so if you have a visitor they can park in your spot and you in the garage. All in all great quality for price.

Ive been in my place for almost 2 years now. The staff is always kind. I like how we are kept informed via text messages and can pay our rent via an app. Work orders are completed in a timely fashion. When my heat went out this winter, the maintenance guys came right out and fixed it on a Saturday night.I plan on renewing my lease. I like the apartment and the location. It really helps having a good landlord. I appreciate the service Charisma provides.

My wife and I have lived at a town home property leased from Charisma for just over four years. Rent increases have been minimal and maintenance has been prompt. In the four years weve lived in this property, weve only had a few scattered issues. The management has been patient and willing to work with us as different things have come up through the years. Management has been responded to requests for maintenance and general request within a reasonable amount of time. Overall, as much as my wife and I would love to move in to our own home, renting here has been a good experience.

Candy was amazing and did an amazing walk through. When I submitted my application and paid the application fee, my phone calls and/or emails were not answered. I worked with a leasing agent for a day then was never answered back. I called multiple times and was told someone would be returning my phone call but never received a call back. Very unprofessional and the lack of communication was frustrating. I would not suggest this company.

Listen, I dont know anything about Property Management, and I barely know anything about Charisma. So when i needed assistance it took no time at all for Kaycee to roll up her sleeves and dig into the job. If you could remember for a moment, the scene in the most recent Avengers movie where all the portals opened up and the previously decesed heros returned to join in the battle? It was a lot like that, but with property management insteadof saving the universe. I felt like I could jump off the roof and fly away into the sunset, knowing everything would be alright. Amy Miller and her team have been managing my property for over 15 years and doing an excellent job of it. I recently added another property for her to manage and, although it is a type of property she had little previous experience with, she has done a great job with it too. She even had to manage a significant parking lot repair. Ive lived in a residence managed by Charisma Properties for almost 2 years now and they are wonderful. They reply to any requests really fast and are a good value for their rent prices. Definitely would recommend to friends and family members who are looking for a place to rent from.

The people that work at Charisma have always been very attentive and authentically friendly. The apartment I moved into had been recently updated and there were a few kinks that still needed working out. Charisma informed me of everything and responded to any issue promptly and warmly.

They have been quick to respond to any type of issues and resolved the problem as soon as possible. They treated me as a friend and not just as a tenant. They truly cared about me and my family. Easy method to report maintenance issues and they are generally resolved within 1 day to 1 week depending on severity. If repairs take longer they generally have options to alleviate the issue while it is being fixed. Rent increases year on year are reasonable and not excessive.

I visited many of the unique properties they represent and made the decision to select my current home. Even under the housing shortage during the rapid growth we’re seeing in Sioux Falls, Charisma’s rental selection seems really diverse. Town homes, single homes, HOA’s and all located in safe, quaint neighborhoods. The property owners that Charisma work with are owners that take pride in their investments and truly care as landlords. You’ll quickly notice during the yearly inspections and frequent upgrades to units.The Charisma folks detail everything very concisely in the lease agreement. When renting from them expect top notch lawn care, snow removal and 24/7 maintenance care-line. Someone will always respond.

Charisma Property is a great company. It holds professionalism and integrity to the highest standard, while caring enough to check in and ensure everything is ok.

I’ve never had a problem, maintenance is fast, online app makes it easy to pay rent, and the property itself is really nice. The other reviews I’ve read are far from reality.

Just beginning to work with the staff initial contact says this will be a good deal.

This place is next not all the way but right next to slum lords. Multiple vehicles, and property are vandalized with no care to the management. They still have yet to care about putting up cameras or any kind of security. They do not clean their apartments before rerenting. Our cupboards where disgusting apron moving in. There’s some red substance that looks like blood above the bedroom ceiling fan. The bathtub was a nightmare. Packages are stolen, cars are having windows broken out, items are being stolen and all they have to say is “we will make a note in your file” DO NOT ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!

They are friendly on the phone but completely uncommunicative within their offices. That or they give the impression of doing so. I did not have the experience of other reviewers where they push you into 24 month lease if you inquire about anything less than 12. Theyll just charge you more (standard). However I am to my absolute limit dealing with the leasing process with their agents. Countless times I have been told I will receive a call back and I do not get one. I have stated the urgency in which I need to move in and the preparedness of resources that I have to do so, and they do not take advantage of this. Instead they push the process to other people, and when questioned about a specific, I get the response: oh, they are in a meeting, or at an appointment - hire more staff if this is the case! Not once have I been able to speak with the leasing agent before move-in. I have asked repeatedly through the course of a week for a copy of the lease to review and did not receive one until less than 24 hours before move in. I havent even moved in yet. Im waiting around for a phone call where they will invite me to come collect the keys and begin move-in. I was told I would receive this phone call in the morning and it is dangerously close to noon. I called them and they said the agent is at an appointment and would be able to help me as soon as possible.Horrid and unpleasant office to deal with. I have nothing to say for their properties as Im moving in anyway. Charisma staff, if you are reading this, Id be more than happy to elaborate on why I am so frustrated - and this feeling is not exclusive to my experience. It appears dozens of others feel the same way.

This is my first ever negative review of anything on the internet haha 2 stars because we left that apartment in the exact condition we found it in and they kept $200 of our $500 deposit. Total BS.

There are nice workers who you can talk with. We lived in one of their properties for a year. They promised to fix the carpet that was ruined when we moved in and they never did. We did call a few times about it but it was still not fixed when we moved out. We ended up getting charged for it, however they were great when we went in to talk to them about it. We appreciated that, however we still wished the issue would’ve been resolved like promised when we first moved in.

Miss Jenny and the girls I have not gotten there yet to live Ive been reading your reviews online here. Im just going to rate you girls on telephone conversations Ive had with you and kindness. But Im looking forward to being your tenant so count on me being there by October 9 2020 I cant wait to meet you girls in person Ive enjoyed every phone call every conversation you are awesome.
