Sorry this will be so long. And Im editing some of it out.First took there when all electrical failed in mid-January. Happened again in mid-June. And again 14 days ago (I havent taken my car there and I am looking for a good mechanic). Each time after its fixed I had to come back the next day because they didnt reset the cars computer - windows, radio, and back sun screen - didnt work. The second time, I watched the young man run back and forth between my car and the diagnostic computer in the shop to figure out how to do the reset. Drove away and the sun screen didnt go down. Im 71, was in Dakota Dunes on July 1 when the car started acting up and I prayed the entire way home for it just to make it home, please dont die out here on the street. Thus far, I am $1,500 out and the car still isnt fixed properly. When I called after this breakdown 2 weeks ago, he got to a point where he said you know, those Toyota Avalons have a lot of things that go wrong and I stopped him right there. If there are a lot of things your diagnostic computer should have picked them up.

This father-son team came to the rescue when our car broke down on vacation 10 hrs from home. They fixed us up as soon as they opened Monday morning for a very reasonable rate and explained everything clearly but without talking down to us. Wish they were our local shop!

Back to the shop I go. This BMW is killing my pockets. But they do great work at a reasonable price considering it’s a foreign auto shop.

I brought my 96 Cadillac Fleetwood into their shop after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment. When they received it I told them the problem is the fuel pump. They parked my car behind their shop for a week, didn’t do anything to it. Didn’t work on it , didn’t do anything with it at all. I had to get my car back from them to take it to a body shop to get a new paint job. All they did was put a new fuse in the fuse box and charged me over $300 for them to park my vehicle behind their shop. Now my car is still not fixed broke down waiting for Stockton Towing to pick it up because Frerichs didn’t do their job

So fast with service even though they were so very busy. Called with the problem and how much it would be and got it done the same day. It was our sons car. They were so very nice!

They didnt complete the job do they really think I wanted my car to still run rich I dont understand why they didnt fix it wont take my car back to them going to find someone I can count on to get the job done

This I know from experience, Honesty is their great asset! You wont find anyone more honest in the mechanical world than the Frerichs! Sad to say..... some of the customers of today dont share that attribute. Trying to get something for free, having some work done and blame them for something other than what was repaired. Ive seen customers wanting free estimates with part numbers so their shade tree neighbors can try to fix the issues at a lessor, non warranty situation. The list goes on for some customers. This shop is busy because they are honorable and repair only whats needed in this complex mechanical world. They have my vote for top shop!

They work on foreign cars so was able to take my Audi A4 there to have radiator replaced. They are curious and very helpful. They tend to be busy so may take a little longer to get vehicles fixed there but they did and excellent job were very helpful took good care of my vehicle while WA there being repaired. It got backed into and thats how w a hole got put in the radiator and the front grille needed replaced so they called the body shop they work with and took care of that aspect of the situation so that was awesome of them. Their secretary is super nice and helpful and answers any questions you may have to the vest of her ability and if she doesnt know she will find out for you. Would give them 5 stars but like I said they are a little slow than most places but with that they do better work so I feel its worth the extra day or two to get better quality of work from them. I have already recommended them and I will definitely recommend them again.

I got some answers but they told me my car idles just fine but the rpm is clearly between 500 rpm and 700 and it should be at a normal 1000 then when I got home to change my light bulbs I noticed my ac belt was hanging they did not notify me of it either and they had it up on the hoist good hospitality though and I did get some answers

I have a foreign car that broke down at the library. I thought I was going to have to get it towed down to Omaha for service. Frerichs Garage picked it up early the next morning, and was able to quickly identify the problem. They ordered parts and got it back to me within the week and for much less than anticipated. They were great cto work with in a very stressful situation.

They are amazing people here!!! Honest, and willing to go the distance to keep a customer happy. Theyll have my business for life. Daughter had a Honda pilot that needed a helicoil installed. Tried another shop in town and wouldnt even quote me a price. Called here was quoted a price. Many attempts later They were successful even going over the quoted price. I was told price should have been more with amount of labor on the vehicle. But junior stuck to his word and went the extra mile in the number attempts till he was successful. Simply amazing. And Im happy to say a year and a half later the spark plug is still in the head. Thank you to all who worked on this vehicle and went the extra mile to repair it.

These folks have been here for as long as I can remember, just dont find shops like Frerichs anymore. I cant remember ever hearing an advertisement for Frerichs but ALWAYS busy due to there reputation. If you looking to get your arss kissed, go to a steelership, if you want your car fixed Frerichs will do it right with no BS! 30+ years for me.C Kleinberg

They are honest saved me several hundred dollars when a mechanic tried to take me with lies about the tie rods and brakes..went to Frerichs Garage and there was not a thing wrong.. I feel safe with them. I trust them completely with my car.

Never recommending- very poor service. Took in an older car to get fixed up. Told staff I needed it in good running and safe condition for my new baby coming. Assumed job was completed appropriately for price charged- WRONG! Had to take it back in for a bad water pump and more work. The noise from the pump was so bad there was no way the mechanic wouldnt have noticed the first time. Completely overcharged and taken advantage of both times. Never going back, never recommending.

Gone to Frerichs many times. They are very professional and do a good job. My timing belt broke and they quoted $3000+. I couldnt afford that so he bought the car from me. He then repaired it and sold it for a huge loss because another customer needed a car. They do a great job and they take the time to explain whats wrong and what they can do to help. I definitely recommend them.

Great experienceI had my Mercedes towed there it was not drivable I was really nervous because i did not go there with the tow truck driving and didnt know what I would be charge I was really impressed they repaired my vehicle within 24 hours at a reasonable price I totally recommend them
