Pulled into Sioux City on the first night of a five night road trip. I noticed as I got off the freeway that there were some pretty awful sounds coming from my front driver side wheel. I knew it was a bad wheel bearing, but couldnt do anything about it that night. The following morning I called around a bit, but as it was the day after Memorial Day most places were understandably busy. Still, Certified Auto was able to get me in immediately. They gave me accurate estimates of both price and time up front, and completed the work even faster than promised. They are true professionals, and turned what could have been a trip wrecker into a relatively minor inconvenience.

This place is amazing to say the least. I am always one to question mechanics, as I am a young woman and most mechanics know they can fool me easily. I always call around for pricing and check on the issues myself before agreeing to anything. My power steering went out in my vehicle, and as I have electric steering, this is not a cheap fix. I called around, and this place was the only place that would fix my car for an amount that wouldn’t end up in me having to trash the car completely. I explained that I only had a certain amount of money, and was told a price only a tad higher, but I needed my car fixed so I said yes. I went to pick up my car when it was finished, and not only was my car in amazing condition, running way better than it even did when I even bought the thing, but they had charged me significantly less than I was told to expect on the phone call. Not only do they do amazing work, but they are kind and understanding people. They will continue to get my business, and I don’t want to take my vehicle anywhere else! Thank you guys! :)

If you want someone to take pride in your car and repair it the way it’s supposed to be repaired, take your car to certified auto. Best place in town in my opinion. Very honest and they don’t screw you over or charge too much.

We called to have them look at my vehicle as 2 warning lights were coming on. It took 6 days to get an appt -- and when we finally brought it in for our appt they didnt even look at it until the afternoon and WE had to call THEM to ask what was going on. We got the impression they hadnt even touched it yet -- and then they didnt even do diagnostics on why the warning lights even though that was why we scheduled the appt. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!!

I dont hate Certified Automotive Repair, only went there to schedule an appointment for repair work.

NO NO NOHonestly I’m really mad. I went here before to have a fuel pump replaced and they charged me $900. I went back to them with my current car and current problem because they were 2 blocks from my job so it seemed convenient.Not only did they charge me $83 for an estimate (they charged me for hooking the car up to the computer which I could have done for FREE at o’Riley’s or auto zone) but they gave me an estimate of $843!!!I went to 2 other shops who both said they were over charging me. Needless to say I have an appointment at another shop who gave me an estimate of under $300.I am a young mother and I don’t appreciate being taken advantage of because my lack of knowledge when it comes to cars . This is robbery !!! They are bogus. I wrote this review instead of going in there and cussing everyone out . Please go somewhere else .

Called to see if they could get a cold air intake installed on my 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD. Initially said they could do it. When I told them I had the new part in the box (which was very hard to find due to COVID shortages), they stated they would not do it with my parts. I can understand wanting to make a couple extra bucks on (which is usually a lot more than a couple extra bucks), but this is a special order item that is not going to be found locally. In fact, had to wait some time for it to be shipped to here.Next time simply state you will not perform labor only on a car.

Hands down, the best service I have ever had with my vehicles. Walked in with a potential major problem with my car. Not only did they save me hundreds of dollars from mis-information through another business, they got me in ASAP, and car was done less than a hour. A friend mentioned them once to me as I drove by. You definitely get the feeling that they are serious mechanics that know what theyre doing, and thats coming from a guy who normally does his own repairs and has a family of wrench heads. Several staff members have been there a decade or more. The front desk staff is sharp as a tack and very kind.

I dont know what happened to this place but customer service must have gone downhill. The front receptionist was very rude to my son and I and to anyone who walked in. She would laugh obnoxiously loud with co-workers about inappropriate things. Its a tiny waiting room so its crammed. Then the older man, balding white hair, was looking over my car and came out to tell me that my brakes and rotators were messed up because of excessive use, trying to play the blame game on whos fault it was, because many people drive the car, saying that they shouldnt have a license or be driving. Its an old car but he instantly went to disrespecting the owner. Will not be coming back here ever and I advise anyone who wants good friendly service to stay far away from here as well.
