I needed work done on 3 prized 35 yo Himalayan birch trees in front of our house that had acquired bronze birch borers. I wanted to save the trees because the large trunks and bark are beautiful. Blooma came out and gave a reasonable estimate for reducing the crown by about 1/3. They said there was a reasonable chance of saving the trees with increased watering, and insecticide treatment that they would do next winter for a few hundred dollars. The crown reduction was done with care for the health and appearance of the trees. I was surprised how good they looked given the extent of the pruning. Guidance on tree care was provided. Removed limbs were promptly chipped and chips were removed. All went well and as scheduled. Hopefully, the trees will survive long term.

It was a happy coincidence when I discovered Blooma Tree Experts Inc. - Martin, their President, happened to be the one driving the truck when he dropped off free wood chips at my house. I was looking for a good arborist, so I asked for his card. After seeing the companys stellar reviews online - with the added bonus of them being a local, family-owned business - I hired them. Martin and his crew were professional, friendly, and efficient. They arrived on the agreed-upon date (their wonderful receptionist Brianna, both through email and on the phone, made all the arrangements run very smoothly) and were finished in half the time another company had estimated. Martin cheerfully answered any and all questions I had, and the crew thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. My 90-foot Douglas fir looks beautiful and healthy, and I have the peace of mind that it should withstand our Seattle windstorms. When its time to trim the tree again, I will not hesitate to call Blooma Tree Experts Inc. again for the job.

The owner came on time to see what needed to be done, and he gave me a firm price, which was very reasonable. His crew arrived on the scheduled day a couple hours early, but that was ok. They worked diligently and expertly, and finished in about two hours. They did all clean-up, and had me come out to see their finished work. It was very well done.

These guys are awesome! Hired to trim a large laurel hedge in our backyard. Required use of a bucket truck and chainsaw to take it down 3-4 feet. They are very busy and the job had to be scheduled over a month out, but they were very responsive, sent timely reminders and completed the job exactly on time, on budget and as described. Blooma Tree Experts Inc. a family owned business employs the most able bodied workers that are required for the dangerous high work. Each worker uses the appropriate safety gear and measures to complete the job without incidents. All high work is done by very knowledgeable persons and is top quality. All equipment appears to be well maintained including boom truck and branch shredder. Owner and son are both expert arborists. Over the last 30 plus years I have employed Blooma many times to do most of my tree surgeries.

Tree removal was great. Stump removal was effective, but created collateral damage: two plants were damaged beyond what I expected instead of being tied back in advance, and a walkway wooden post and a wooden raised bed were both damaged due to carelessness when positioning the stump grinding machine. The damage to the wooden post and raised bed were not disclosed to me during the work and I discovered them later. When raising concerns afterwards, did not receive much in the way of sympathy or apology. Will probably not use Blooma again.

We had a beautiful Smoke tree that had started growing at an extreme angle - almost 45 degrees. It was matter of time until it fell and took out a nice fence and the neighbors patio.We had Blooma remove a large English Laurel hedge (50 long) and grind the stumps a couple years ago and they did a great job, so we wouldnt think of using anyone else. On the appointed day the Blooma crew arrived about 7:30 am diligently working to prune and trim our four plum trees, magnolia, camellia, Rose of Sharon, lilac, dogwood and pear trees. Blooma is extremely professional. They needed to use our neighbors driveway to get to a very tall tree and were very respectful. They left the driveway sparkling clean. They also trimmed a magnolia that had gotten way out of hand and now it is open, airy, and sculptural again. They know their stuff. They probably won’t be the cheapest company, and you will definitely need to book in advance, but they are worth it

In general, the work was very good. The crew arrived on time and was very good with clean up. I was disappointed with the pruning of the fruit trees...the trimming seemed harsh, but that may have been what they intended to do. I would use their services again, but I would make sure they knew exactly what I wanted.

The work we asked to perform was excellent. Josiah, Martin, and crew did the work so well for us in 2018. The neighbor was impressed and had Blooma do their tree services. Two years later we have another job to be done in a few months. We had an emergency last week and scheduled it for Saturday. Josiah saw that there was a snow storm on that Saturday. He called on Thursday and came over in 20 minutes. He removed the branch that was broken from wind storm the week before. The branch could have done some major damages if Josiah didnt remove it.

Blooma removed a 100-120ft tall Douglas Fir right between my neighbors house and mine. It was a scary situation but they safely removed the tree without a scratch to our houses. Martin and the crew were very friendly and communicated with me throughout the whole process. They left my yard looking great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for quality tree work.

We have a essentially historic gigantic tree with encroaching limbs that were operating as a freeway for rodents to get onto my roof. Fearing that it was just a matter of time before they got into my house, I wanted to limb up the tree a bit to close that wildlife access. I read the reviews on Blooma and phoned them to come make an estimate. They offered an add on to clean up the dead twigs that were closer to the trunk without any pressure to buy that. We asked for it to be priced as a separate line item so that we could think about - so Blooma did that. After thinking a day or two about it, my neighbor and I agreed to split the total price as the tree stretches about equally over the property line (and it is my roof that Im worried about though the tree is planted on my neighbors lot). So we went ahead and did the limb trim as well as the twig option. We had to wait 3 months for an appointment slot, but *WOW* was it ever worth it! Blooma arrived on time and finished as promised and were extremely professional (with some very impressive equipment that wowed all the young kids on the block). Their work is nothing short of artful (absolutely ZERO appearance of butchering) with this magnificent tree. The add-on trimming of the dead twigs up the trunk has made a HUGE difference in how much debris falls from the tree on a daily basis and much more sun now comes through the tree itself. Ive seen plenty of other tree trimming companies who get in/out and butcher up once-lovely trees; Remember, you get what you pay for.

On the day of my tree removal, they showed up on time, quickly prepped the site, removed a 105-foot tree, and cleaned up the site afterwards. All of the remaining wood was removed by the next morning. They scheduled stump removal a month later but came out the following week and ground out the stump. The entire process was easy, efficient, and professional. I am really happy with the entire experience and will definitely be using Blooma Tree Experts for all of my future tree needs.

These tree experts came to trim the neighbors tree, assuring him all the branches would fall on his side. They didnt. They fell on our rose bushes, almost totally destroying them. They also ripped out our internet cable, which is more than an inconvenience if youre working from home. Irresponsible and unprofessional.

This is a great tree service. I had to wait a while to get them scheduled to do the work, but they showed up on the exact date and exact time, as scheduled. I can see why they are so popular that I had to wait. Before they started the actual work, they went over again exactly what I wanted. At one point, I requested that they trim back a hedge bush a little farther than initially planned, and they readily did it. The crew was very friendly, professional, and responsive to my request. When they were done with their work, they asked if I wanted to inspect it, which I did. They did precisely what I had requested. Above all of this, I think that their fees charged were quite reasonable for the extensive work that they did. I would strongly recommend this company.

These guys removed a diseased maple and pruned the other 2 to perfection. They listened and nailed my vision. No mullet hack job (happened before when didn’t hire arborist) but rather a magical canopy.

Last month, we had our large fir tree trimmed of branches that were dead or interfering with utility wires, and then thinned out to let winds pass through. I have a beautiful old laceleaf Japanese maple in my hard that is close to the sidewalk. Keeping it appropriately trimmed for sidewalk clearance (and yet still healthy) has been a challenge. Martin has been able to help me keep this tree healthy and beautiful.Most recently, I brought out multiple Arborists: but Martin was by far the most helpful. His advice was balanced and practical. And while he was not available, he gave advice. He was even mindful about how I make sure I get the most for my money and time with his company.

We have had Blooma working on special problems and routine maintenance pruning for nearly ten years. Martin and Josiah have worked on everything from pruning a fifty foot Douglas Fir when its top broke during a storm to pruning a shaggy Hawthorne that was encroaching on a neighbors Dogwood. This year highlighted their talent. I had let a Black Pine get a little out of shape and just wanted the candles removed that had gotten out of my reach. Martin personally climbed the tree and hand pruned the whole thing! It was more than I expected and was beautifully and expertly shaped. Blooma Tree trimmed a chestnut tree on my property that had limbs over my neighbors property. I had landscape lighting at the base of the tree and after their work I noticed one light was knocked over and the other was missing. After a week and a half of research they notified me that they rigged everything down to the neighboring property, thus had nothing to do with my lights. Guess it must be a coincidence.

I am a repeat Blooma customer and have been very happy with their service. I will use them again next year to shape and maintain the trees in my yard.
