Unfortunately, our birch tree fell victim to the pest borer that is decimating the birch tree population in the NW... This spring, only about 20% of our birchs canopy came back, which was really too bad. We knew the tree might have to be removed, so we started looking around for tree services in the Seattle area. This might sound corny, but I am extremely satisfied with our experience with Bartlett Tree Experts. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that I spoke with and/or interacted with at Bartlett Tree Experts provided EXCELLENT, top-notch customer service. From the initial person I spoke with on the phone, the people that were emailing me, the arborist expert (Taylor Duke, whom came out to check out our birch tree that he deemed needed removal), to all the guys that actually removed the tree and then later came to grind down the leftover stump.... I dont think I can remember being treated as well by any company in the past 10 years. In my experience, many times the actual workers are not really customer friendly and just want to get the job done, which is usually fine. However, in the case of Barlett Tree Experts, I found even the people that actually removed our tree provided excellent service, were very knowledgeable, were super nice, and answered all my questions. You can tell they give a damn about their job, and it shows! Just a great experience overall, and a very fair price. The two other tree service providers in the Seattle area that I contacted before Bartlett either did not respond to my request, or messaged me and, without coming out to see the actual tree, said that it would cost at least $700 to remove our tree. I find it infuriating when companies throw numbers at me without taking the time to do an actual, on site inspection. And it turns out that Barletts price was a competitive $600 total, included the in person inspection and quote, the tree removal, and the tree stump grinding, which is cheaper than the other company that threw a number at me out of thin air. I am super satisfied with Barlett Tree Experts, and I strongly recommend them!!!
