DO NOT TRUST HIM. He seems nice over the phone but is extremely rude, unprofessional, unpunctual and NEVER FINISHED THE JOB AFTER HE GOT PAID (many others seem to say the same thing in their reviews too).I hired Chris Hunt after he gave me a quote for $650 to remove a tree and grind the stump. I was at work the day the tree was supposed to be taken down but told him that if he had any problems to come talk to my boyfriend who was home all day. After the way he planned on taking the tree down didn’t work, he told my neighbor that it would now cost $1500 to remove it. My neighbor (who I was splitting the cost with) said she wasn’t going to pay that much and he said he was going to leave if she wouldn’t pay that price. He never called me or spoke to my boyfriend about the changes. He went ahead and took the tree down anyway (didn’t remove the stump) then tried demanding the money from my neighbor after but she said she still wasn’t paying that price. She called the police during that argument because he and his employee tried to intimidate her with threats and saying one of them was an ex-convict not to mess with before leaving. After I got home and she told me what happened I tried to call him multiple times. I sent him a text saying that price wasn’t what we had agreed on and that since I was the one that hired him and he never contacted me/my boyfriend about the price changing he shouldn’t have removed the tree because we wouldn’t have agreed to it. His response was extremely unprofessional and rude. After finally getting him to agree to honoring the quoted $650 price he said he would be back to grind the stump out and finish the job so I paid him. HE NEVER CAME BACK. I tried to contact him but he ignored all my calls and texts until I told him I was taking him to court if he wouldn’t finish the job because it had been 2 months since I paid him. His response was to mock me. I was in contact with an attorney and preparing to take him to court, but decided that having him ordered to finish the job or give back my money was not worth having to interact with Chris Hunt ever again. I would not want or trust him being back on my property anyway. Thankfully I had a friend come finish the job for me so I didn’t have to deal with him again.

I just had a very difficult tree removal from my backyard that was up against ,not only my house but the neighbors. They did dan amazing job. Very efficient, professional and experts at tree removal. From start to finish very thorough. A great price to go along with excellent service. I highly recommend.

Didn’t do the work and paid extra to do it.

Had three very large trees removed (03/11/2019)... Close to electric wires, right next to my home... Very pleased with their work and professionalism ... Price was most reasonable... I highly recommend these young Men .... They are a credit to Savannah!!!

Scott and his crew were fantastic. They removed two trees while they were singing and dancing. They came on time, finished their work quickly, and cleaned the area beautifully. The price was good and the service was perfect. Call them theyll be there and youll like them.

Expert Tree Service took on a last minute, urgent request to remove a huge broken limb hanging from a tree in my backyard, on a Saturday, after Chatham County had issued a mandatory evacuation due to hurricane Irma! Thank god for Scott and Derek! No doubt that limb would have come down on my house. Expert Tree Service was responsive, professional, and offered an excellent, competitive price. I will absolutely use them again.

The best service I have ever had by far and let me tell you as far as personality the workers and ownership are top notch. Class act company for sure and they will not disappoint. I refer them OVER AND OVER !!!! They truly know what they are doing and it shows in the work and clean up is flawless. Left my home like nothing was even ever done.. :-)

Warning do not use this man. He is not dependable responsible or professional. He will ask for money before the job is done and never return. Even after many promises to do so.He comes across as very nice but is not a man of his word. Very disappointed.

Dishonest about pricing. Horrible to work with. Did half of the work that was quoted. Definitely would NOT recommend but if you do choose to use them - Make sure you have them clearly explain what their scope of work is.

Late, flakey, and bad communicator. Did not perform all work agreed to on work order and quote. Make sure to wait to pay until you are satisfied with the work, otherwise they will take the money and have no accountability to finishing.

Expert tree service is the best company around I would recommend them to anyone for the best pricing and customer service

Extremely unprofessional do not use this company for business purposes because you will end up looking extremely foolish an unprofessional to the homeowner he lied time and time again about keeping the appointment and then when I try to reach him he just stopped answering the phone 😡 a man is as only as good as his word and his word is garbage.

Completed estimates, scheduled service, but was a no show. Even with reschedule
