It was such a smooth process dealing with LifeStance with trying to see about getting help for my daughter who has issues related to attention and learning in school. They did a spectacular job with breaking down everything I needed to know relating to her results. Well done!!

Tim Curran is impersonal and rushes his diagnoses, of which consists of only a 15 minute consultation and a couple hours of standard psychological testing (not even administered by him personally). Its obvious he doesnt care about your concerns and only concerns himself with what he thinks is correct. He overfit all of my concerns and symptoms into a diagnosis of anxiety and depression and swept everything else under the rug. I have a high degree of confidence that I have ADHD due to the hereditary nature of the condition (immediate family was diagnosed) and have at this point read numerous books written by psychology professors, dozens of scientific studies and journals, hundreds of articles, and watched dozens of videos regarding ADHD and have observed my own personal habits and symptoms (through myself and close family/friends) in order to intimately understand why I am the way that I am.The way Tim Curran wrote my diagnosis was through his own very narrow lens (thats what 15 minutes, some testing, and apathy get you) and projected my feelings onto me as if he thought he knew what was going on in my head. I do not feel anxiety or depression daily, and I am very aware of how I feel when I am anxious or depressed as I only ever feel anxious or depressed when faced with executive dysfunction that prevents me from being productive throughout the day. Hell he didnt even write down everything I told him during our initial consultation and he frustratingly condensed much of what I said without picking up on the nuance of my symptoms. I truly did not feel cared for nor did I feel like my concerns were taken seriously. I certainly felt like I was on a conveyor belt as Tim Curran was more concerned with moving on with his day than giving me the time of day.All in all, Tim Curran was very arrogant in his diagnosis and made ZERO effort to dive deeper into how I feel or the nuance of my symptoms. His diagnosis only confused and frustrated me as it was obvious he skewed and condensed my concerns in order to overfit it into a simpler diagnosis. His reason behind why I couldnt have ADHD is because my IQ is too high but if that was true then Einstein and Edison would have never of became the great scientists they were (both had ADHD). He told me I simply worry too much because of my anxiety, but I feel like I cant worry because Im always distracted with what stimulates me the most in the moment, and I only start worrying and get anxiety after whatever I shouldve been worrying about creeps up on me. I cant get organized not because my anxiety is preventing me, but because I cant focus long enough to get organized and if I do manage to get organized it quickly becomes a pile again.I thought this guy specialized in ADHD, but apparently not since he thinks you have to have a low IQ to have ADHD. Go elsewhere.

The Doctor was very friendly and easy going with my daughter. She did not mind answering his questions. He was very patient with her.

I got a report at this place and I cant say enough how wonderful Dr. Silverman was! I felt like he totally understood who I am! The feedback was so thorough and he was so helpful, he answered all my questions and got me started on medication for my depression. Don’t waste your time or money. If you’re in need of a psychologist, it means you’re in need of help, and I was essentially turned away after my son’s evaluation. I felt as though the dr didn’t listen to me- there were multiple times where I said one thing, yet the complete opposite was written down on our overview of what was discussed. The evaluation process felt rushed. We ended up with no help.

I have been working in the Chatham school system for years now, and I have seen some really bad reports come out of this clinic. They dont tell me anything that helps me help my students. They use a bunch of jargon and tell me their history, but that doesnt help me understand whats going on with the kids. Honestly, the writing style is so far below what I would expect even from high schoolers, and they claim to have doctorate degrees? For shame! Dont waste your time or your money. Going almost anywhere else in the state would get you a better report!

Doctor and most staff were great. The blond lady at the checkout desk was curt and snooty. Did not seem to care about anything.

Went in for testing and consultation. I opened up to dr bochner about as much as i could in 45 minutes, including my past suicide attempts in which i explained my parents did not know and i did not want them to know. he then proceeded to tell me i was just overly emotional since i had no trauma i couldnt possibly have any disorders or issues. took testing anyways. came back for results, my parents came with me for emotional support to hear results of my TESTING (drove all the way from florida to visit me for this) and even though i expressed my desire to skip over the parts where my suicide attempts were for some reason mentioned, he said we could not skip them and read everything out loud despite my protest. my parents are now aware of what i did years ago and my relationship with them over the last few days has been rough to say the least. shouldnt a psychologist be able to pick up on distress signals like that before reading out loud the one thing i asked him not to tell?and speaking of picking things up, he admitted he was biased in my diagnosis because despite my exam results, i seemed fine and presented myself well so he refused to diagnose things that were dangerously high on the test results and simply labeled mood disorder. Dr Bochner is aware that I am an actor. I front and facade well because its my job. Despite scoring a 94 for the MMPI-2 tests subset for schizophrenia, my diagnosis includes nothing on it simply because I seemed fine.Everyone seems nice enough as human beings (IQ tester was especially kind and friendly) however this is not a place I would ever recommend anyone to go to.
