Take deep caution when reading these reviews - too many positive reviews now leaves me highly suspicious that its a marketing scheme...at least after my recent experience with them. After I received a phone call from Dr. Brocks secretary stating he couldnt provide me with any more primary medications used to treat Adult-ADHD, he appears to be just another neurotypical doctor who honestly doesnt truly get ADHD at all...except through only his studies. And hes now convinced that Im a total drug addict, whos not actually seeking to improve his life for the better. This medication is NOT for me to get high...its so I dont get fired from any more jobs! And it really works when taken at the right dosages! I swear! At least I can be thankful that Barkley was right when he said that ADHD was easy to fix. It IS!But unfortunately, a good caring doctor is EXTREMELY hard to find these days in this neurotypical world, and I often unfortunately just feel like giving up, as I swear that sometimes Im truly from another planet, and bound to just live an absolutely lousy life. Its not really his fault though....its just that hes never actually experienced what its like first-hand to have ADHD and an awful series of life-experiences. Hes fortunately one of the lucky ones who does not have 2 ADHD parents {at least Im guessing not}.His assistant was openly angry in the emergency appointment I asked her to make for me, immediately cutting me off, leading to extreme suicidal ideation, and an immediate trip the next day to the mental ward for 6 days.I was nothing but honest and open with her the entire time.Any professional practitioner should KNOW that cutting someone off immediately from stimulants leaves them with MUCH WORSE MENTAL HEALTH THAN THEY CAME IN THE OFFICE TO GET TREATED FOR IN THE FIRST PLACE.I PAID THEM MORE THAN 300 BUCKS TO MAKE ME WANT TO KILL MYSELF! AND I WAS HONESTLY REALLY GOING TO DO IT TOO! MULTIPLE TIMES!IVE NEVER BEEN SO AFRAID FOR MY LIFE AND MY FUTURE EVER, AND IM HIGHLY THANKFUL TO BE ALIVE RIGHT NOW, THANKS TO MY SMART CHOICE TO CHECK MYSELF IN TO THE WARD (even though the hard chairs and constant 15-minute room checkups sucked).Guess what...the Crisis Center told me that they called the office to ask to keep me on my medication, and THEY DIDNT CARE.Avoid at all costs...they only care about their paychecks. Just look at their hip office in a hip part of town. RUN AWAY. VERY VERY FAR.By the way...I am only not using my real name because Skip Dyver is (and always has been for many years now) my GOOGLE INTERNET PERSONA, which google requires you to use whenever you post a review.Everybody does that!If you really want to know my real name, it is Charles Ryan. And yes, my name is DEFINITELY on record as being a patient here. Therefore, this review is ABSOLUTELY 100% AUTHENTIC.And did I already say that Dr. Brock never called me to personally touch on this extremely personal matter, but rather one of his assistants? And after telling me that i cant have access to any more primary-ADHD treatment regimens, his assistant has the nerve to tell me that I would still have to pay $145 to meet with him, even though he wouldnt be able to prescribe to me the absolute best self-proven cure for my condition! So MANY of my life stressors, failures and negative experiences DIRECTLY related to this condition that Ive carried on my back {oh...and my brain} for 43 years now could very EASILY be solved ALL AT ONCE with this medication!Would you believe that waiting at stoplights {AND waiting in lines} when medicated properly is actually NOT as painful as I had always thought it was?Theres at least 100 other things I could honestly say this medication instantaneously helped me fix. I listed many of them, but dont have enough room to show them here.Anyway, once again, these guys almost seriously (no joking) killed me. I would DEFINITELY not trust them with your personal mental health and general well-being. They may very well destroy it, just like they did mine.

Ive been seeing Dr. Brock at least 4 times a year for over 16 years and through three different practices including his own he started just a few years ago. I was one of his first patients when he first started practicing medicine. He has always been excellent. Hes gotten me through three separate periods of extreme anxiety. He now treats my mom and Dr. Kristy and Margaret treat my teenage daughter, including for ADD. Im always so happy with their services. Some times the office staff is nicer than others. Lacey is always nice. The ladies were very nice today.

This place is so amazing. I as remembered by a friend and her recommendation lead me to meeting Margaret. All the psychiatrist and therapists are able to communicate with each other and see the notes from easy meeting. This is really nice because it helps get the best care. They are easy to contact and find, plus the office waiting room is super relaxing. The reminders about appointments through email and text and sometimes even call to follow up. I can’t describe all they have done for me and put into word.

My appointment was with Dr. Brock and it was possibly one of my best experiences ever with any kind of physician or health-care practitioner. I was profoundly nervous about seeing a psychiatrist, but it really was a painless process and afterward I wished I would have done it much sooner. Dr. Brock put me at ease right away, was extremely compassionate and easy to talk to, and clearly knows his stuff. He was very thorough, spent a lot of time conversing with me and made me feel much more hopeful about feeling better soon - I just felt like I was finally talking to someone who understood and could REALLY help. If youre considering seeking compassionate and truly capable care for any mental-health related issue - dont wait anymore, make an appointment with Dr. Brock! (also, please ignore the clearly fake 1 star reviews - its sad that people feel the need to leave them just to bring someones rating down on Google)

I have seen Dr. Brock only twice in the maybe 3 years and I loved both visits. He is warm, caring, and asks all the right questions that you can answer and not leave to only remember something that you forgot to ask. The person I see only a regular basis is Kristy. She is absolutely AMAZING.....She is young, understanding and listens to you. Every time I am having a problem with my medication, she allows me to tell her what i think should be change and how I feel about the decision I make. She then comes back with what she feels is best off of what my opinion is. ultimately, she makes the decision, but i love how she cares about my opinion. This is very hard to find now-a-days. I hope this helps!! :)

I honestly always have a good experience with this office. The front desk women and the office manager are always polite and professional and know exactly what they are doing. I personally see Lydia (also Heather due to Lydia being on maternity leave) and they are absolutely the best. Lydia worked with me for a few months figuring out my correct medication for my anxiety, major depressive disorder, and ADHD. Also the financial team is badass. They work with you to figure out the best way to get you what you need and are forgiving on late payments (which is important as a struggling college kid). Love this place! ❤️

To bad there isn’t a no star option. Great place but be careful who you see it really does make a difference in quality of care. Shame people work in a business to treat mental health patients and have no concern about about anything but payment. I had very thoughtful and considerate help most of my time here pitiful one person can be so oblivious to what someone’s life outside of the 10 minute appt is like (if that long). Andre and Heather THANK YOU very much you two truly did change my life for the better. You guys worked with me to figure out my correct dosage for my ADHD and what worked and you also helped with my anxiety tremendously. I had no problem calling to talk to you guys about any problem I was having with any side effects always very thoughtful in your manner of care. See to someone suffering from anxiety the MANNER in which you present care goes a long way. I will no longer be going to this practice unfortunately. There’s one nurse who I won’t name out of respect but you should take notes from Andre and heather. I can say I was made very uncomfortable and treated as if I was less than by this nurse with no room to talk about anything in my life and not even close to thinking you cared anyway you did everything but yawn in my face and send me up front to pay and remind me of my bill. I refuse to pay the person who gave me more anxiety than I had when I walked in.

I have never been one to write reviews on a business, rather good or bad. I just never had the desire to do so, but I feel the need this time. Shrink Savannah let me down at a time when I was at my lowest. Im not even sure if Dr. Brock knew (or at least I hope he didnt know) of my distress because his front/back office gave me absolutely no clue that they, especially the receptionist Carly , even passed on my messages (PLURAL). I dont think I ever received a call back about any of my concerns. I even went up there to ask in person my concerns, and was given the cold shoulder/why are you bothering me look from Carly, as if I could not see her face. Ive worked in many an office where I was the first contact person, and I always took pride in giving a great impression (as in showing that you care). This office can make no such claim! I paid my bill and never went back.

I would not recommended Lydia Stearns to my worst enemy. My sister had the worst experience. Lydia gave my sister even more anxiety than she had before her visit. I understand times are hard right now during COVID-19 and interacting with patients via telephone isn’t ideal. As a healthcare professional you have to adapt and figure out how to best serve your patients. Lydia was unable to provide adequate care and lacked empathy. If you are seeking genuine help, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Edit: Since I can’t leave another review or respond to the comment, I hope someone will see this. I never received a termination letter. I check my mail on a daily basis. I’m confused as to why the financial officer is responding to my review, as I have no outstanding debt to your practice. I haven’t received any written document outlining why my treatment was discontinued or recommendations for continuing treatment with another provider. Patient abandonment with no written warning seems entirely inappropriate for a practice specializing in mental health.Ive gone back and forth about posting this review over the past couple of weeks. My therapist was great, I think we had a good rapport, and I would be remiss in saying that she hasnt been helpful and kind. However, Im really disappointed by my most recent dealings with her (or lack thereof) and this practice. She and I discussed discontinuing therapy after some issues arose, but we left it open-ended. I spoke with her right before I went on a 3-week trip abroad. I was told that she would call me beforehand to talk about our options. I never heard back, but I knew we were in a time crunch and wasnt upset about it. Upon my return, I called the office and left a message with a receptionist for the therapist to give me a call to discuss how to proceed. After not hearing from anyone for a week, I called and left another message. I called one more time a few days later but still never heard back. The office manager refused to speak with me on the phone when the receptionist asked her to. The receptionist said shed talk to my therapist and make sure someone returned my call this time. Here we are, a month later, and Ive heard nothing from anyone. All I expected was a phone call. The unprofessionalism is disappointing. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who is seeking treatment for something as sensitive as mental health.

Chad Brock, M.D. Psychiatry, has been an incredibly compassionate psychiatrist who has regardless of the situation shown the lighter side of a personal drama and how to cope beyond ones self-evolved problem. I cant even begin to explain the professionalism, teamwork, and patient dedication I received from Dr. Brocks office. I called to set up an appointment without a referral. I was accepted and allowed to complete a patient information form over the phone. The staff helped me out above and beyond the typical norm I have had with healthcare employees. The MD and Physician Assistant are very caring and listen to understand verses listening to respond. The office manager has called me to help me several times, considering I am out of network with my coverage. I am continuing to see this office regardless of the price, being I am out of network , strictly because they are worth it. If anyone is looking for a psychiatrist in Savannah, Ga or the outlying areas, I suggest you book an appointment at Dr. Chad Brocks office! Thank you again for your timely acceptance, timely appointment, loving care, and an over all great experience!

I became a patient of Dr. Brocks when my prevous doctor retired. He suggested Dr. Brock and assurred me that we would be a perfect match. I most DEFINITELY agree. That was well over 10 years ago and I am happy to say I have ALWAYS felt well cared for and that my concerns were met seriously and discussed thoroughly. I have never had a problem reaching Dr. Brock during non-business hours. I love his new office and staff and look forward to having them take care of my mental health needs for many years to come.

Go elsewhere. I made appointments for Ketamine Treatments, which requires 6-8 infusions. Their staff allowed me to make appointments for therapy, but when I called to confirm and ask if I could move 1 appointment up in the day, Im told I have to reschedule my 3rd appointment because suddenly the person who administers the treatment wont be there. Whyd you let me make the appointments then? I have to travel over 2 hours for these treatments (of which there are 6), I had to book a hotel to stay in Savannah for the appointments due to their back to back nature and the travel time. The hotel reservations I made arent able to be modified and were non-refundable rates and now Im told I have to reschedule just a few days from treatment? Thats unfair to the patient and very bait and switch. These people are wishy-washy and unprofessional. Im out almost $220 bucks because of them and will have to go elsewhere for treatment which will cost me even more due to increased travel. How very kind of you to treat people who have psychiatric problems like this. Depression is bad enough as it is, but when you get your heart and mind set on being able to have a treatment that will probably help, only to have it snatched away from you is a heartbreaking and traumatic experience.

I really enjoyed my therapy session with Ms. Margaret. I felt completely comfortable talking with her and made me feel like I could actually bring up some difficult issues w/o fear of judgment. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is due to the I ncredibly rude receptionist at the front desk. I had an appointment w/ one of the PA’s and decided to cancel. Like one of the previous comments say; most patients are probably dealing with some psychiatric issue; i.e: depression, trauma, ptsd, etc...so you would think it would be very important for not just the medical staff but for office staff as well to treat each patient w/ respect and kindness. Maybe I caught this employee on a bad week. Regardless, she was rude enough to make me reconsider coming back.
