Super understaffed but they were trying to hard to make it work. The cute balloon is from there but I had to wait for air to be filled.

Recent employee, I quit due to how management ran things, left my name tag and a note stating such things. The owner should really set up something to better the morale and lift up the attitudes of those he employs. Maybe then, people wouldnt quit. Its about treating others fairly that get them to respect you, sir.

Went to buy balloons and decorations for our daughters birthday. The lady at checkout was a great help in ensuring I knew how long some of my balloon selections would stay inflated. This was extremely helpful as the celebration was going to be the next day. She helped me find an alternative and the party was a success! Thank you for your thorough service!

I went to shop for balloons & streamers for a birthday party and even though it was Mothers day weekend, they still had plenty of inventory on the shelf. Staff were helpful & friendly. Placed my order with next day pickup without a hitch!!

Witnessed an interaction between an employee (manager?) And customer. Despite the customer being unreasonable and yelling at the employee, the employee kept her cool and remained professional. The customer was unruly, making unreasonable demands, changing her story, and yelling at the employee even after the customer was transitioned to another employee to process a special transaction. The employees who helped me were all kind, friendly, and while there was a bit of a wait, there were plenty of signs explaining that the store was understaffed and working to correct the issue, as most places are here after the struggles of the pandemic.Please be kind to people in service. Many places are running understaffed right now.

Rude employees. Give out wrong information. I tried to return extra graduation items and was told they couldnt accept them because graduation items are final sales. I called the Party City customer service number and was advised that wasnt the case and they even emailed me a return request invoice to return the items I need to return in-store. Store is also poorly stocked and organized.

They were getting set up for halloween when we went in july but its an ok place and they have alot of party stuff just not what we were looking for

Today (03/05/21) at around 4pm, the female employee who answered my phone call hung up on me. I called her again to pay for some balloons over the phone. She was rude and shortly told me if I wanted balloons, it would be 2 hours before I get them. I asked if I went in person it made a difference and she hesitated, then told me 30 minutes just to pay. Very poor customer service from this lady. Glad we have other stores in town.

The employees here are rude....They all act like theyre being inconvenienced, from the balloon area to the cashiers to the people working the floor. The place is unorganized and shelves are not fully stocked. This place needs better leadership.

Went there looking for retirement party supplies and well not much to see! But looks like they have many ideas for birthday partys.

The shelves have been very bare the last few times Ive been in. I would have spent much more money had there been more things to buy. I couldnt even get matching forks to go with the table clothes I bought. 😔

My mask apparently wasnt up to code even though it looks like everyone elses except I just broke the string getting out of my car so it was held up on by one side and i was holding the other side up with my hand but it was covering my mouth and nose. They should have a sign that says you must be wearing an N95 mask because thats the only one acceptable there apparently. Ill be sure to keep tons of masks in my car😷😷😷😷😷😷

I spent $75 on 20 balloons. They werent grouped as I instructed. They were in 3 bags and were a tangled mess. Latex were deflated in less than 24 hours. Customer service is the worst. No compensation when I asked and was offered a very weak apology. Never again. Deserve zero stars.

Bought a costume price was 4 dollars more than posted online. I showed that cashier that online it has it for 19.99 and she told the manager. The manager looked into it and gave me the price online. Super nice and friendly.

I had a poor experience with a Party City location in San Antonio, Texas. The one located on 13419 San Pedro Ave. I ordered online a bouquet of 20 balloons at 1:32 pm for curbside pickup at 4:00 pm for my brothers birthday. I received an email at 2:38 pm indicating my order was ready for pickup. When I arrived at 3:58 pm I called and gave the person my name. Five minutes went by and nothing. I entered the store and spoke with a clerk at the counter. She went to go look for the balloons and couldnt find any. She opened a drawer near me and the packet of balloons were in the drawer with my name and order details. The balloons were inflatted but poorly in addition to the fact that I didnt receive my order until 4:30 p.m. Walking to my car two balloons popped. I am definitley going to have to look for another location with better service or find a local business I can support. For $35.33 I would have expected better customer service and a quality product.

My son and I spend more than 25 minutes in line just to be told that none of the balloons for Trolls that were on display were available to purchase. And not even an apology. They need to put something on the balloons in display stating no longer available so that people don’t wait more than 25 minutes in line for nothing. Bad service

I gave this store one star. Cashier had major attitude from the moment we walked in til the moment that we got stuck having to be checked out by her, her attitude was so bad that during the transaction she disappeared and never came back, instead a employee in training took over and was sweet and her name was Josephine I believe i might be wrong but blonde hair dark at the base. She finalized the transaction and took our balloons to the side where they would be inflated. Well no one there acknowledged our presence instead one of the girls there inflating balloons was just was with attitude and rolling her eyes and starring at us and not once did she say How can I help u or have u been helped. There was a guy there also who asked everyone else if they had been helped and all but never acknowledged us. With the exception of the new girl Josephine or I forgot her name, skinny girl like I said blonde dark at the base hair. Really sweet and profession and someone I would want working for me, with the exception of her the customer service from everyone else was horrible will never go back there again!

I truly thought Id find a wig for Halloween there. Turns out, they only had like 2 male wigs and the rest were all for the ladies (or long hair rocker wigs).They used to be a great Halloween spot, but whomever is doing the ordering now fell off, it seems. Still a great makeup/FX selection, Ill grant them, but I wasnt in for that this year.

The wait for ONE balloon was outrageously long [hours], but i offer grace in these pandemic times. the staff was mostly as helpful as they could be given the circumstances.

Bad experience got there to get Birthday balloon for my 8 year nephews party was told 45 to 1 hour wait and found out could order early but when I tried was told no by several employees. Than the Mgr. told me I should have order week early. Very upset cause no one else had Avengers one disappointed little boy never will get any thing from your store again.If I could I would have return everthing from your store and my sister spend at least $150. in party supplies for her grandson well next month we have a birthday and will go somewhere else and I will be returning what she got for her 7 year old party in march. Very disappointed in you store. 1 upset customer on the day of my nephews party.

I love the changes to this store. It seems more open and friendly. I am able to walk down the aisles and not feel so crowded. I love that everything is organized from Halloween items and all the way to bridal. I can easily find the things that I need either by color or by theme. The staff is friendly and helpful. They always greet people when they walk in and it’s not just one person saying hello. I always go to this party city for my party needs and they also have a website so I can make sure my store has items in stock or I will call them.

Everything is overpriced. But if youre in a hurry and just needing to throw a party you would find stuff here. I want really impressed. I left without buying anything. The store was super hot and all the staff was all standing together toward the back aisle dancing and talking very loudly. I felt it was very inappropriate.

I went shopping for a Halloween costume today and Im giving them some leniency due to it being so close to Halloween. I understand that it gets stressful. But the costume I went to purchase was damaged in multiple places. When I spoke to associates about a discount on damaged product, they directed me towards the supervisor on duty who refused emphatically that he could not do anything and would not speak to management about what could be done for the situation. Ended up tracking down manager myself, to which she did not allow me to finish speaking, she just quickly wrote 10% off on a slip of paper and dismissed me rather hastily. Very disappointed in the lack of quality customer service that was displayed by the company.

When I went it wasnt very busy. The employees were very attentive. I was only there about 30 minutes and was asked 3 times if I needed help with anything.

Great crew working at this store! I can’t sing their praises enough. They helped me put together balloon arrangements for a party. One of the employees also saw me struggling with decorations and ran to help me and grabbed me a basket. On the day I went to pick up my balloon order I had forgotten my receipt, but they recognized me and gave me a pass. I was so relieved.

I was telling the cashier as i was putting my things on the counter, I wanted to price check a costume before i made my purchase and instead of listening to what I (The Customer) was asking her to do she rung everything up and gave me a total instead of just getting the price check. I inquired, she seemed more worried about getting a break then trying to communicate with me (The Customer ). The attitude provided to me made me feel like it it didnt matter if I purchased anything or not. The employee had more of a conversation with her fellow employees then I myself. I dont even know if the employees are suppose to provide return policies or and any other information being it was Halloween to give to customers but I didnt get anything. I hope she was able to get her break, and what I really hope is that her attitude changed toward any other customer that came through to her register (3). Everyone on the floor working had warmth greetings A++ to the guys that approached me to see if I needed help. I wish I had names didnt catch them at the time didnt need to until I went to checkout.

Worse party business I have ever wasted my money with!Daughters birthday party is tomorrow, we live out of town, went there earlier this week to see what they had theme wise, found some interesting things, came back today with balloons bought from another store, they aired them up and every single one had a hole, they refused to give us a refund and the lady behind the balloon counter was beyond rude about it!Never again will we waste our money here!!!!

I found everything zi needed for my costume here at this store. They have all the accessories sorted by costume type down the aisles. It was very easy searching for what I needed. They are not blowing up balloons due to helium shortage. None of the Party City stores are blowing up balloons in the area. I asked when would they be and was told possibly at the end of month but that is not guaranteed. Oh....but i can still buy a huge balloon. They should at least have a sign out stating that

The General manager Victoria was an awful representation for the Store location. She was very rude and loud to my kids for asking simple questions about a particular item is located. Started harassing them. Calling cooperate to make a complain so no one has to deal with her in the future. I love party city but she made it an awful experience for my kids and I. Will not be returning or bringing my business here.

I have to rave on the balloon department of this Party City. I went in Friday to place an order for my son’s birthday party, I needed a number 8 in black they looked high and low and found the last one. They didn’t give up looking! They were friendly and took care of me. The young lady who helped me when I picked them up was amazing (wish I would have gotten her name, shame on me!) she was fabulous! She offered to put them in a bag for me which I’ve never been asked in my previous orders! Then she she offered to cut off some of the length of the string which again has never been offered to me! Thanks for making my pickup easy and asking those simple questions!

Terrible place to work! Always talk down on their employees AND COSTUMERS. Not understanding with your personal life, when applying for part time they make you work full time hours with no benefits! “only managers get benefits” I recommend people NOT to come to this location!

My boyfriend and I are planning an event and party city had everything we needed. We even got to save 40 bucks from 161.00 with coupons found for party city on their website. You can only use one coupon per transaction so choose wisely.

I shopped there on a tight deadline ; one hour to gather things and beat traffic to pick up my toddler from school . I was greeted as soon as I came in. I was asked by three persons if I needed any help and then the cashier was super helpful in trying to locate something they didnt end up having. It is surprising to be out of beach balls before Memorial weekend so that should have been better stocked for the pool party and big holiday. Since its not their fault ; Im still sticking with the high rating. Clean bathroom, organized store , lots of great items in their inventory overall. I did find other things not on my list but that made me really happy to buy and not rely on Oriental trading who takes too long to ship any last minute item with their really high shipping prices. Anyway, Im thankful to be able to go into a store versus rely only on online sales.

San Pedro Square easy to get to just off East Bitters and 281. We went to Party City and bought some things for my grandsons birthday party. Getting out of this area takes some thinking if, you don’t want to get on to 281. Just go right from Party City and you will come to East Bitters.

Im a karaoke host found some cool things but the manager and clerk didnt even try to help me out with the large bill i had. They just shrugged their shoulders and told me that they couldnt help me. Looks like amazon wins again

Okay location, on multiple occasions has been hard to get balloons (either not having the balloon option available or being out of multiple choices) would think you would stock more but maybe their inventory isnt managed good.Employees were nice but does get busy at times so expect a short wait at this location.

If you are having a party, this is your best bet for a one stop shop but if you want to shop and get the best prices you should look around first, chances are somewhere else will have it cheaper by a little. Special occasions that call for colorspecific supplies may be best to buy here. Staff has a few really good workers who are friendly but a lot of part time workers who you can tell are just there for the paycheck. Normally better service when there isnt a major holiday coming up. Plenty of parking. Staff knows about where to find their product but not all of them know about the products. Its not a bad location, just not consistent enough to get more stars.

BEWARE, be prepared and specific when needing balloons. I tried going early to place my order. Staff who was in training tried to help but was told I could not. As I was trying to ask as to why. Vet Staff spoke over me yelling, welcome to party city! Hint taken he didnt want to deal with me so i walked out. Went back on the day of event. I ordered 3dz rainbow bouquets. While staff worked on balloons I ran to pick up cakes. Returned and all three bouquets were not balanced in colors. Staff was willing to please but I had to walk them through on separating in groups of three for each color on ea bouquet. Took way too long was late for party.

Today I went in to return a couple of items and left my wallet behind on the cashiers counter. After 30 minutes I noticed my wallet missing. I called the store and to my surprise they had it. Once I arrived the wallet was brought out by a manger which I thanked. Arriving home I noticed three gift cards missing from the wallet. I’m totally bummed out that even though my wallet and credit cards were returned. Someone took it upon their self to steal after doing such a nice deed. I called the store and spoke with a manger who checked their surveillance cameras and of course nothing showed anyone removing items from the wallet. A person who steals knows cameras are around and won’t do it in plain site. It’s such a shame!

I think for future references all employees should mention return policy at checkout. If you open merchandise they will not let you return/ exchange. Thats bad for business if you ask me. As if this company doesnt rob us blind with cheap over priced costumes already. I wont come to party city anymore, not even for a balloon.

The staff was friendly and helpful

For my 13 year old we spent over $200 for her NYE party. We bought 2 helium tanks and one of them was defective or empty and they refused to offer a refund because their policy reads that none are given if the package is open. The manager was rude and seemed to imply that we were being dishonest and offered us another tank instead. The party is over and do not need another tank! Unless a full refund is offered I will never shop there again.

From my wife Amber -My mother and I went to this location on 6/16/15 and truly were impressed with how friendly and HELPFUL the staff was, especially Victoria! We were looking to make confetti balloons based off something online, and her willingness and excitement to share her experience and knowledge was truly appreciated! I highly recommend this location!
