WONDERFUL SERVICE!!!! I was a walk-in, it was packed and I got seated within 20 minutes or less. Best nails I’ve ever gotten to be totally honest!! Will definitely be coming here as a regular. The people were very nice and very kid friendly!! I got a tip and dip for only 50. Love it here!!

I have been coming here for awhile now and it was always good .. but yesterday the lady that did my nails was the reason why I will never go back.. she did my mani carelessly that 3 of my fingers were bleeding and also messed up the design I wanted to. I am not that person that usually complains but it was just disappointing because she also overcharged me for shellac which is normally $35 instead of asking for $50.Overall, the two guys at the shop did amazing in my previous visits which is why I still want to give 3stars..

I had been going to this place for years! I was told the owners had gone on vacation, but would be back, so I continued to go for a few months. This was not the truth. The previous owners sold the business and the new owners did not inform established clients the business was under new ownership. The new owners made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. What a shame! Jenny and her husand were so warm and welcoming!!

First time customer here. Received a pedicure, and both my large toenails were trimmed poorly. I tend to get very painful ingrown toenails, so it is IMPERATIVE that they are trimmed properly. My left toenail still had a piece of nail hanging from the corner, the top of the nail wasnt painted with polish, and was jagged. Both corners of my toenails were not trimmed, and in result theyre pointed higher. My right toenail was straight up trimmed crooked. The left corner is pointed high. My technician didnt speak English so it made it difficult to communicate. She was nice so I tipped her 20%, but nevertheless, Im going to have to spend MORE money at a different salon, to fix the issues. Ive lived in the area for five years, and was hoping Id make this salon my new regular spot..... But unfortunately I will not be returning.

I had been coming here for 7 years... I’m unsure if the ownership has changed but unfortunately I will no longer return. The atmosphere used to be personal, friendly and enjoyable. This is no longer the case. The new individuals working here have turned this place into a “turn and burn” business where the process has become mechanical, lacking any personality, pride or relaxation. I have come back 2 or 3 times since the new people have arrived and each time is another nail in the coffin. They are so rough and rushed I end up with several cuts to my nail bed. They’re raising prices immensely which would be fine if there was something positive coming out of the price changes but the only thing that positive is their bank account. Nails Tran is no longer the family business it once was that welcomed you in with open arms and remembered ever face and story.

I love it here . Everyone is so pleasant and helpful. All of the tools are opened right in front of you, everything is fresh and sanitized. You can call ahead for appointment and they make sure to take care of you in a timely manner.

I use to come here for over 10 years with the old owners sad to say there no longer there. Had no idea they where changing owners.They always made me feel good about my nails and pedicure. Went with the new owner three days later the nail polish was coming off and chipped off. When I called they said they only go by appointment very disappointed.

Finally found my new nail place! Peter did my nails, he did a fabulous job! I highly recommend this place! Its updated and relaxing! Im very picky and this place is legit the best!

Probably the best place for shellac manicure, Jenny is the best, and for pedicures Anna is my favorite. I don’t give them 5 stars because they don’t take appointments :( and sometimes the wait is more than an hour. Best time to come is early afternoon on Mondays & Tuesdays.

The pedicure itself was nice. Good job at scrubbing and making them soft, but the polish and nail art was hideous. Sloppy and messy all over my toes, it was awful. I should have known to walk away when he insisted on using the electric nail buffer. I specifically asked him not to and he said he had to use it to get the polish off. I told him it damages my nails, couldn’t he just use acetone? He then asked if he could use a tiny buffer around the cuticles. I agreed but then he ended up using it all over my nails after I specifically said NOT TO. This caused my nails to be thin and fragile and within 2 days they were breaking and the nail polish was peeling off. The 1st picture is the day of the pedi (Thursday) by Saturday they looked like the last picture. All I did was wear sneakers on Saturday. And that “nail art” was done by one of the girls. I mean look at the pictures have you ever seen such a blotchy amateurish flower???? So disappointing. I still tipped $5 but I shouldn’t have at all.

First time here and I will definitely return. The place is super cute and clean. Went in to get my acrylic set cut down. She cut them down twice because the first time was too long for me. I offered to file the rest at home but she was so sweet and assured me it was no trouble at all. She gained a customer!! 😍

I went to get my nails done for my birthday there earlier today. Very disappointed with how they came out. I wanted long nails and my tech kept cutting the tips shorter. I let that go and continued with the mani. I wanted a coffin shape and the nails came out all different shapes. He cut me with the electric file multiple times and didn’t shave the acrylic down evenly. My nails are all bumpy and crooked. When he painted on the gel he didn’t even cover my whole nail. I don’t know if it was an emergency but he left me about 5 times to talk on the phone. It ended up taking a little more than an hour and a half to finish. I paid too much for my nails to look this bad. I’m so disappointed with the whole experience.

Anna is the best in San Antonio! I’ve been going to her for months for my monthly gel manicure French tip nails. She always does a phenomenal job, and she’s fast, too. I’ve been to so many nails places in the city and the nails always chip within a week or two. Hers will last 3.5-4 weeks! 5 stars for this gal!

I called ahead to make a reservation for my sister and I to get pedicures. They said they only take walk-ins but to come because they “aren’t busy at all.” We went straight there and sat there for 45 minutes waiting to be seated and had to leave with no pedicure because we ran out of time waiting. They could have JUST BEEN HONEST that they were super busy and we would have happily gone somewhere else instead of wasting all that time and missing our one chance to get a pedicure. After we left my mom said it was better we didn’t get our nails done there after all because she had been there before and she didn’t like it at all. :/

Worth the wait, worth every penny. The gentleman I had was wonderful. Ive never had a nail tech give so much attention to detail.The store and other staff can be a little rough around the edges. They dont carry a lot of things like chrome powders, jewels, stamps etc which can be disappointing. Especially if thats what your looking for. Which i find very weird cause review pictures advertised that they do.However they will help you find an alternative.

Ive been getting my nails done for years! I hardly give good reviews, but this place is AWESOME! Staff is wonderful, they are Very accommodating, clean, friendly, professional. Dont waste your time going somewhere else, this will be your first and last stop. Only thing though, because they are so amazing, theyre usually busy. Try to come during weekdays, after lunch hour, and before everyone gets off of work (best time to come).

I am a long time customer and never disappointed on my pedicures and facial waxing! Jenny always does great job on my eyebrows. Everyone is very friendly and great customer service. I enjoy the pedicures so much. Very reasonable prices and place is very clean! Now my granddaughter is customer as well!

Ive had all kinds of service here but it is never consistent. Some days the employees work very slowly, like taking 2 hrs for a beautiful set of acrylic nails. Or quickly and sloppily... the woman was so distracted that she cut my cuticles multiple times!! And i mean cuts that didnt heal for days. Speaking of cuticles, they dont even so much as put oil on them or even lotion on your hands. I would go someplace where the employees work at a steady pace and dont cut you.

I honestly do not understand why this nail salon is so highly rated. I went to Nails Tran and had the worst salon experience ever. I walked in and was greeted by a woman who I believe is the owner. She asked me to have a seat right in front of her and stated that she would be right with me. I figured, no big deal. Then I realized that 15 minutes had gone by and I was just sitting there watching her put name tags on the nail colors. Couldnt this have been done later?! I found it ridiculous that I had to wait there for her to finish doing something!Even after that, I still decided to get my nails done here. Needless to say, the acrylic nails I got were just as bad as the service there. The man who shaped my nails had NO CLUE what he was doing. I asked for a coffin shape (which costs an additional $5) and ended up with crooked and oddly shaped nails that varied in length. The nail polish color was pretty, but I just could not get over how ugly my nails looked. I was embarrassed with the end results that after just two days, I decided to go to another salon to get them done right! Ill never go here again. Please, save your money and go to a better salon. This place is a joke.

My granddaughter got her nails done here. She absolutely loves them. They do such a nice job and they are so friendly. We have been coming here for over a year and every time we get the best service. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing nails.

Ive been here for pedicure for the last 5 years, but things do change , use to be satisfied now Im searching for another nail salon in the pass year they clip more the air then they fix the nail giving me issues later with hang nails. This pandemic has changed alot of things sad this place to has changed.you almost have to pay 45 dollars to get what you use to get for 25 and even then those hang nails are there. Their good people but I was use to things a certain way

I am SO glad I found this place. Ive been looking for an affordable and quality nail salon for so long. I walked in and was seen right away, although its quite a busy salon. I got a toe polish change and a fill for $35. The gentleman that did my nails was kind and took his time as did the woman who changed my polish on my toes. I noticed how clean and well kept that salon was right away and LOVED that they played music. I will definitely be returning!

LOVE nails Tran! The place is always filled with people getting their nails done. They do a phenomenal job and they give attention to detail (they remove excess gel from under your nails and make sure the shape is to your liking) and they’re insanely affordable. I have gotten chrome nails, ombré nails, almond nails... they can do it all. They’re not the type of shop to add a ton of extra fees at the end. They’re the only nail place I trust in San Antonio. They can be busy, but they’re worth the wait. I recommend going on a week day during the day if you can. The owner and the two other girls are my favorites.If you’re ever unsatisfied, the owner always tries to make good on fixing any problems you might have.

Always a great experience! Warm and friendly atmosphere! The shellac manicure is wonderful and Jenny is amazing. My nails look better than they ever have. I enjoy going there and its nice to get compliments on how good my nails look.

I absolutely love Nails Tran. Ive been coming here for about 7 years to get my nails and eyebrows done (first eyebrow wax was here) and this is the only place i go to. Nails Tran is very clean and sanitary, always taking the proper actions to maintain a well kept store. The staff always makes sure that you are happy and comfortable, offering waters, and sodas while you wait and while you are getting you manicure or pedicure. Jenny knows exactly how I like my nails and eyebrows and she does them perfectly each time.

I love the way my nails turned out they did an amazing job. I love how they do there nails with time and passion. The person who did my nails because he took his team and had a lot of passion.

So I was originally going to Modern Nails, but it was a Monday and I had no idea they were closed. I looked up places near me and found Nails Tran with a pretty high rating and reviews, so I gave it a shot because I had a broken nail and I really needed a fill and didnt have any time to do it other than that day. I went to Nails Tran and its very cute and looks promising but when I was asking for regular nail polish options they kept giving me gel and confusing me and trying to make me choose gel instead which is obviously more expensive. Then when I was getting the refill and a new nail to replace the broken one, the guy was very sloppy. The acrylic was all lumpy and bumpy and I know that he could fix it with the drill later but it just makes it harder and more time consuming. So then he starts filing my nails and starts talking about my nails with a co worker (obviously in their language), he makes it very obvious by using hand gestures and pointing. When I asked what was wrong he played it off and said nothing. The nail that he replaced and did was VERY different compared to the other nails previously done by Modern Nails, it was lop-sided and uneven and really bumpy. He didnt make an effort to fix it until I kept comparing it to the other one but even then he really didnt fix it completely he just sort of did it to shut me up. Then it came to the polish part and he rushed through it so fast that color was patchy and had actual bubbles in it, oh and he didnt give me the color I wanted!! At the end I left and paid and decided that maybe it wasnt so bad, the color was still cute and they still looked decent. Its been one week now and the acrylic from the refill has chipped and my nails are starting to unattach from the acrylic. Never going here again. BTW the person who did my nails was Hung. IF YOU WANT GREAT NAILS THAT LAST AND GREAT SERVICE, GO TO MODERN NAILS. ITS DOWN THE ROAD FROM NAILS TRAN BUT REMEMBER, THEYRE CLOSED MONDAYS!!!!!!

I am a older woman who suffers from severeknee pain; I go to Nails Tran every month to get a pedicure. Anna is my tech and she really takes good care of me. They recentlyremoved a platform step to get to the foot spa massage chair and it was a wise move,I no longer need assistance in order to sit in the chair. Nevertheless, whenever I go to the shop, owner,Jenny and Anna keep a watchfuleye on me as I wobble in. The shop is VERYCLEAN and they do take walk in traffic.If you are handicapped or use a walker or cane the people at this establishment are sensitive to your special needs and try their best to make sure you have an enjoyable visit. I highly recommend NAILS TRAN for all your mani and pedi nail care needs.Highly professional staff and fair prices! !

I was really excited about trying out this nail salon since it has great reviews. Well i went & my nails came out bad. They were crooked, uneven, bulky and for some reason my cuticles were bleeding a bit. I had to refile my nails to make them look better and even them out. Really not happy. I wanted to have a great experience like everyone else but it didnt work out. Sadly, this is my first and last time going.

I am very picky when comes to spending money on my nails and waxing i expect a great job and i always get that when i go here they are really nice and take there time making sure its done good ive never not loved my nails and love how they do my eyebrows they were closed one day and went somewhere else and was not happy with my results as long as there open this is were i will be going

The worst service ever! Took an hour until I finally left never once approached me, short on staff, and very disappointing. NEVER AGAIN!

I honestly wouldnt even give 1 star, had to in order to share my experience! WORST experience ive ever had getting my nails done. From the beginning i got my cuticles over cut to the point of bleeding and at one point she apologized. Second my nail tech wasnt familar with shames and made my ovals so sharp the were almonds and she had to redo my pinkys. She was trying to rush me off i feel for asking to fix the shape so while painting she didnt even completly paint my nails. 2 days after getting them done i lost 1 ring finger! Im four days in and 4 nails are now gone. Any person who regularly gets their nails done will know how Stuck these suckers are only a few days in. Ive lost 1 real nail to having one come off so lets just say ill never be returning. Very disappointed with my whole experience.

Loved the service. She did exactly what i asked. Only issue i had was the paint job on my shellac wasnt even on a few of my fingers. But it wasnt that big of a deal. Will come again. :)

Fabulous service! I treated my sister-in-law and myself to spa pedicures at Nails Tran and were very pleased. They have clean facilities, reasonable prices, nice staff and MASSAGING CHAIRS! I opted for the Nu-Pedicure which was one of the most expensive options, but honestly I felt that one of the basic pedicures would have been just as great. Afterwards, I was very careful to keep my feet in sandals or barefoot for at least 4 hours, then I had to put on shoes to go to the park. For some unfortunate reason, my American-style polish smushed and flaked a bit while my sister-in-laws French-style stayed perfect. When I called Nails Tran about it, they right away said to come back in and they would fix it. The technician Hong, took his time to correct the issue and added an extra layer of top coat protection. No probs this time around. Ill be back!
