This place was truly a disappointment! The pedicure was beyond lack luster and the eyebrow was left me with jacked up brows!!! I thought with the location this would offer me a opportunity for a good pedicure but sadly this place should be closed and not allowed to service anyone! The staff was unconcerned about my issue and the lady that provided my wax services was rude.., slammed drawers and would not own her mistake! It was horrible and waist of money!

Got my nails done for the first time, and it started chipping horribly the next day. Not small chips here and there, but it was peeling off large chunks of the shellac polish. I came back cus they said they would take care of it, and I was pretty much blamed for it for having bumpy nails. Uhm.. what? Isn’t that something nail salons can find solutions for? Can’t you use the acrylic powder on top to create an even layer, or something? Not to mention, the “shellac” started peeling off hours after redoing it. No thanks! 👎🏽

I walked in at 15 to 7 when they close at 7. They rushed my mani&pedi did a sloppy job at covering the side walls on my nails and barely scrubbed my feet with the pedicure. I had rings they clearly stole! I asked about it in the morning and Danny said to check my car! I took them off in the salon and checked for them as I was walking out the BACK door. Everything about my visit was unprofessional. I’m disappointed because usually they are ok.

LONG POST ALERT | This was a first time experience at this location with a friend. I asked for a solar powder fill from a prior service at a previous location. The receptionist (the owners niece) and employee Crystal assisted me. I informed them that I have solar powder on my nails and Crystal stated I should get a solar powder color change because they didn’t have the matching solar powered for my nails. Crystal was available but after showing her what that I wanted a nail outline, she had an attitude and decided to have another employee, Kevin provide the service.Kevin stated he has been doing nails for over 20 years and he started at the location over a week ago. My nails he stated was very simple and he does the nail online design all the time. I decided to let him continue with my service.Kevin used the dipping powder for my solar powder color change. He never removed the solar powder from my nails prior to applying the new application. The steps used to apply great quality nails were not used. The dipping powder application was so running and two thick that it took forever to dry because it’s not made to be used as a solar powder application. I stated to Kevin that his application wasn’t good and it’s to thick and runny. He said it will be fine. He also applied the line outline design on my nails and I stated that he wasn’t doing it right and I didn’t want it, he told me he will do it, he does it all the time, it looks great. I told him I didn’t like it and it looks bad. He begin to have an attitude and throw his hand up at me out of frustration.After sitting for two hours, I’m furious and I head to the front to pay. The owners niece states that I need to pay full price because Kevin still applied the line outline design and I informed her that I wasn’t paying for the design. I will pay only a certain amount. In reality I didn’t want to pay for it at all.The next day I reached out to the owner Nancy to inform her of my experience and that I do not like my nails. She stated that she will be able to do them or have someone fix them and she asked me to come in when I return from out of town. I returned out of town the owner wasn’t there but Ana, another receptionist assisted me and stated that she had someone who can do them for me.Crystal was available again and she tossed her hand at me and said she wasn’t doing my nails. Then she causes a scene at the front by calling Kevin over and asking him didn’t he do my nails. Point at my fingers and handling the situation like she was disgusted that I came back to the store.This was by far the worse experience for me at a nail shop and I wasn’t satisfied with the service the first time. Although, Nancy was trying to assist me over the phone she wasn’t really making me feel satisfied. I was trying to explain my experience the second time and she wasn’t trying to listen which made me more upset. She stated she already heard the story from Ana, she sounded nonchalant stating she already talked to Crystal. She still should’ve been willing to let me express what happened as well and she didn’t until I asked her to listen. After speaking to her I wanted a refund she stated that she will not give me one and to come in she will have someone do them. The environment doesn’t feel comfortable for me to return even after speaking with her. I’m big on customer service and customers are the reason we are able to still have a business open. As a business owner I didn’t feel she handled the situation professionally nor did she make me feel she truly cared.____________________________________________________Thanks to SA Nails, off San Pedro for fixing my nails. Ive been coming to this salon routinely for about a year now and I am still very happy! The girls at the front desk are very polite and do their best to work things in for everyone. Their color selection, for all types of polish, is the largest Ive ever seen. All of the workers are accommodating and talented too, though Ive been seeing Vanessa recently and am very pleased with her in particular, at least for myself. The salon itself is extremely clean and polished, and the utensils are opened from new packaging with every service. Drinks are also available, from coffee to margaritas! I recommend this salon to all!

I came here with my mother-in-law and Aunt to get our Christmas nails done. I do not frequent nail salons, but the staff and my nail technician were very nice and did a very good job on my powder dip nails. My mother-in-laws technician did a custom snowman as her accent nail, and it was very cute. The salon itself is very clean and doesnt have the overly strong scent of your typical nail salon. the drinks they offer is just an added plus as you are getting pampered. this is my mother-in-laws regular spot for her nails, and she has very good taste. My full set of powder dip nails was $45, so fairly reasonable for something that lasted almost a month!

I’ve been going to this salon since it was named Avalon salon. The new renovated salon is now Bella Lifestyle. I always go to my nail technician Ada. She’s so sweet, always offers us a drink and is so fast BUT efficient and I leave with perfect dipped nails every time. Please ask for Ada when making an appointment and I always suggest making an appointment - walk ins aren’t bad but they always appreciate a set time.

Absolutely looooove Bella Lifestyle. Im very much a regular here. They are always extremely kind and helpful. Whenever I happen to try a different place I immediately regret it because I have it so good at Bella Lifestyle. I highly recommend Amy, Ada and Nancy, superb job every time! The esthetic is amazing and their organic pedicures are the best Ive had in San Antonio. I get all kinds of things taken care of here. Easily 5 stars!

I enjoy this salon. The staff are nice, attentive and actually do what you want. They do a good job each time. No bouncing between customers and the entire place was clean. I had a great experience, time went by fast, and the waterfall/plants are do things to look at.

I love this place. I’ve been coming here for a couple yrs now. I usually request Amy because I really like her but when she is not available I have been very happy with the other technicians as well. I can’t imagine anyone having a bad experience.

My mani was great but what really bothered me was my pedicure. I just wanted one color and not glitter over it but was constantly told that glitter over my toes will look “so much better.” It doesn’t. Now instead of a fun color, my toes are gray. I am really upset. After saying no just the color twice, glitter was continued to be put on my toenails.

My nail polish came off entirely the next day I got them done (this is my second nail falling off)... worst place I have visited. Lowest quality service!

Went here in May for pedicure and manicure. First time ever coming in. The lady was a little rough on the pedicure and made me bleed. Come to find out, I ended up getting an infection. What a waste of $90 !!! Have tried numerous times to get in contact with the manager, and never get a call back. I have been to the doctor twice now to get it fixed. Beware when you go here! I never leave bad reviews but the fact I have yet to get a call back is very ridiculous. I would like my money back and money for my doctors appointments!

Lam took great care of me today! She squeezed me in at the end of the day, she was sweet to talk to, and I love how my nails turned out. I’m ready for my engagement photos tomorrow. I’ll be coming back before my wedding and I plan to invite my mom to join me.

The man who did my pedicure was amazing. However the women who did my dipping powder clearly didn’t know her shapes because I asked several times for coffin and I have an extremely narrow nails and they curve at the top. Along with that they are all different lengths. She also cut me and altogether have a bad attitude. I will never go again and the fact that I paid $50 for these is shameful.

I never write reviews but I’ve also never gotten a worse nail job. The lady doing my nails cut my cuticles to the point where they started to bleed. Not only that but I got my nails done ONLY 6 DAYS AGO and 5 of my nails have already broken in half, I’ve never had my nails last such little time and I spend $45 here so save your money it’s not worth it at all

Just waited 20 minutes and my wife and I are still seated. We come here once a month just to get routine maintenance. They asked us what we wanted, 2 pedis and then it’s as if they forgot we were sitting right in front of them. We chimed in on the two ladies up front making a work schedule and said “are we waiting for something or someone just asking bc we have been seated here” they just said have a seat and another 5 minutes goes by. We left. If their customer service was better or even just communicated oh we are busy or short staffed I’d understand. Anthony Vince nail spa has my business now not because they were the next place we visited but because they did a fantastic job. My wife loves the shellac color they used. And now I must go leave a great review for them.

I stopped by this morning to get an acrylic set removed. The receptionist was nice and got me with someone right away.The nail tech proceeded to take a nail tip and rip off my set instead of soaking them off.I have never had a nail tech do that and after my experience I will NEVER let anyone do it ever again.This practice RIPPED MY NAIL OFF!The nail tech did not apologize, did not have a bandaid to offer, and still made me pay $10 for the service. Also, the nail tech said that this happened because my nails are “too thin”. This wouldn’t have happened had he taken the time to soak off the nails.When I went to the receptionist to pay, I was finally offered a bandaid. I was so upset- I just paid and left.Worst experience ever.

I went into bella lifestyle @ La Cantera last friday to do my set with shellac. I usually get them done at vanity nail bar but i decided to try this salon since i was in the area. Danny was the tech who did my nails. I didnt pay attention to my nails upon leaving i waited till i got home and noticed that they were horrible. The shellac started chipping right way. I called the salon around 10am on Wednesday and spoke to maria regarding my nails and she was very rude and unprofessional. She told me that i needed to speak to the owner whose name was nancy to see if they were going to charge me again to fix my nails that this tech messed up. Maria stated owner was busy taking care of her clients. I told her i understood and asked about how long the owner would be busy, she stated that the owner is always busy. She got my name and number and told me the owner would call in about an hr. 12pm came and i called salon again and was told owner was still busy. I waited till 3pm to call again to tell her to let the owner know that i was frustrated at the situation and would be writing a review. I then got a call back from maria right after stating the owner asked if i could come in friday when the tech who messed up my nails would be there. I called back to let her know that i couldnt do friday but that i could go today which is Saturday, she stated that would be okay. I went in today and all this tech did was buff the shellac down and repaint the nails. They are all crooked and thick with polish. I have chips and bubbles. This is by far the worse. They are worse then the first time he did them. Bottom line i am so unhappy with my nails. Hope who ever goes to this salon gets better treatment than me.

Once we were seated, we were offered water, wine, or a mixed drink. This was a pleasant surprise! My daughters nail tech advised her about her feet and nails and changed what she wanted to help her nails heal instead of the more expensive option.

I do not recommend this place, 2x I have been there and both bad experiences. This 2nd time I nearly got my feet scrubbed off. I was left bleeding. I have been walking uncomfortable for the past 2days. I’m subjected to infection with all these open wounds. I will never go back to this place just because it’s convenient. I didn’t want to make a big deal so when I left I called to speak to owner/manager and she is conveniently not in or just stepped out.

Not very good service. i felt like i was forced to get tips on my nails and they put on the totally wrong color. i asked for a light pink and they put on a bright neon pink and said it would get lighter as it got put on. i was lied to and token advantage of! not happy!

Came in to get a shellac manicure for my birthday and the next day it started fading, it looks like camouflage by now. This is the first place that this has happened to me and I have the pictures to prove it but apparently I can’t upload them. I am never coming back here.

She didnt say much but she always had a smile on and she was always making sure I was comfortable throughout the service. She also had a great attention to detail. The salon was so clean and pretty and everything they used including implements were pre packaged and sanitized for each client. They even had drinks for you including mimosas! I really had a great experience and as a worker in the customer service industry, I know how simple kindness and treating people with respect gets you farther in life. I got a wax and they were completely uneven and she took off the edges of them and i have to wait for them to grow back till i can get them done again by someone better. i got treated poorly as well. i don’t recommend.

I walked in with nails and walked out with them cut below my fingertips. It takes a loooong time for me to grow out nails. Now I can’t even scratch an itch

I went for a pedicure 9/15/2018, chose the signature pedi and Danny assisted me. I have had many pedicutes before but only been to this establishment once before. He did not trim the nails, he filed them but did not reduce length. He was removing the dead skin using a file and was too abrasive. My feet were not difficult to work with. His file caught the skin on the side of my large toe which caused an abrasion (sore) due to his roughness. I winced once and advised it hurt but he persisted. Again my feet did not need intense dead skin removal and I have no major calloused areas. The salon was clean and hygenic however this experience and injury will not entice me to go back.

Girlfriend got a mani & pedi, and the manicure turned out awful. The tech completely screwed up the shape, and when we went back to get them fixed, they wanted to charge us another $30 to fix them because she wanted a color change. She ended up going to a better nail salon to fix them. Just wish we could of at least been refunded for the terrible quality and service.

I called a head of time, making sure of availability. It was confirmed, said no problem. however,They denied my service when arriving. Pretty upset as I paid $15 just to go there. :( disappointed.

Terrible people, bad service and not clean at all. Very rude and not professional. This salon shouldn’t be at the la Cantera mall. I had a appointment they made me wait 1 hour and then they finally sat me in a pedicure chair. Soaked in tha chair for another 35 minutes without anyone attending me. When they finally got to me they said they couldn’t do the shilac polish I requested because it would take to long and they had no time. So i picked a regular polish and continued the pedicure.the lady that was doing my pedi cut the bottom of my foot so bad blood was everywhere. She never asked if I was okay or said sorry she just left and called someone else to help me. I should have left after that but I needed to also get a manicure, nail shaped and polish becaus I was attending a weeding the next day.Once i sat down with a new lady to do my finger nails I explains to her the nail shoes I wanted on my natural nails and gave her the polish I wanted. She then got the nail clipper and cut off 2 of my real nails short to the skin. I had been growing my nails out for 1 month just for this wedding and in a moment she ruined it. I shouted stop and asked her why she did this and she said it’s nearlt closing time and she didn’t have the time to shape my nails and I should have made an appointment and came earlier. I DID HAVE AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY MADE ME WAIT!The manager came over and told me to leave because they was closing and to go to another nail salon because they wasn’t going to help me. She then said I was going to pay full price for both pedicure and manicure or they was going to call the cops on me. I was in tears and embarrassed. I paid and left. I couldn’t even wear my high heels to the wedding the next day because if the deep cut they gave me on my door hurried so bad. Don’t go here go anywhere else but this place.

So ive been coming here since last year and after today i am pretty dissappointed. I got a manicure dip without the manicure part. First she gave me some very hot water to dip my hands in, didnt even ask if it was too hot or not she just walked to the back. She didnt clean my nails there was still dirt under them, did ask if i wanted them cut or not, no cuticle cleaning. She just did the dip filed a little and done. I spoke to the manager afterward and she said the manicure isnt included with the dip even though its called a manicure dip. And if i wanted the manicure they would charge an extra $10 so i would pay $55. So your paying them $45 for them to just dip your nails but not clean them, yet its $20 for a manicure. Completely ridiculous. So they basically are dipping dirty nails into powder that they use on everyone else. Completely disguisting and unsanitary. This is the first time this happened but enough for me to not come back again. Ive been a reoccurring customer and shouldve been treated much better. Avalon at north star will clean your nails and dip them for $45. They will be getting my business from now on.

Relatively fast service, the end result depends on the person serving you. Some do not last long because of the quality of the work, but if you find any chic @ that you liked and if the job lasted, it is advisable to ask them for their appointment card, appointment with the same person that you liked how they executed their work. Fairly reasonable price
