Nails were left with bubbles and polished pooled at bottom of nail bed. We came to another nail salon to get them redone. I did a pedicure and that lady was wonderful. But the nail person did not leave us satisfied.

First time visiting Utopia Nails and it was such a treat! My manicure and pedicure experience was just delightful. The massages were so relaxing it was hard to stay awake. Definitely melted away the stress from the long work week. I will be returning again for my next session for sure!

I absolutely love the service and quality of work at this place! Not only are the staff super friendly and accommodating, but they make sure that their work is good every time! I will always wait if needed to get my nails done here! They definitely have a family feel! Ive been to there places in SA and no one else compares!

I can’t tell if those little specs on almost every nail are air bubbles or debris trapped inside the shellac but with them there it makes them feel sooo bumpy when you run your finger over them. What you can’t tell in the pictures is the super bumpy and uneven coating of the polish, some areas thicker than others on the same nail because the polish wasn’t opaque enough. You also can’t tell from the pictures but the coating is also really patchy, in person you can see where a layer of the white polish was added only to part of a nail to cover the areas where the polish wasn’t opaque.

I really love this place my mom and I went to this place and they did our nails perfectly I highly recommend to go to this place the workers are super friendly and a very relaxing place to go

Rosie is wonderful. Always great work. She is great about being careful when feet happen to be hurting. Very understanding if need special adjustments or things at times due to needs. Good about helping with ingrown toenails. Wonderful job. Will always go back for Rosie.

Was not pleased at all today. My nails looked bad the first time. So, I went back to get them fixed the same day. My nails ended up Looking way worse the second time. The nails Didnt even look like the color I wanted. I asked for coffin shaped nails with black chrome dip and got something far from it. My Nails are crooked, thin, misshaped and unevenly painted. Would not recommend!!

I went 2 weeks ago and got a mani and pedi. I decided to get the dip for my finger nails. Unfortunately a few days later my nails started to peel and I couldnt go back cause I was out of town. I was so disappointed cause I had them done for my vacation. Today made 2 weeks and they look like I got them done a month ago. The pedicure was fine but wish I would have been offered fake nails for my toes due to having fungus on my foot. The lady did not speak english so communication wasnt good, but she seemed very nice. I have had a dip before and it lasted a lot longer. Dont think I will be going back.The dip started peeling off a few days after I got them done. I was out of town so there was nothing I could do. And have had my nails dipped before and they lasted a month. As for fake toe nails had them done before with no problem. Thanks anyways.

Love coming here to get my nails and waxs. Been coming here for a few years now. Its a real nice place. Can watch TV, or listen to music, just a very relaxing place. The people who work there are very nice and do a great job on anything you need

They didn’t have the prices up to begin with, place was dirty, the tools were unsanitary, nails were uneven and I asked for regular polish and she did super thick coats and left me at the nail drying station, didn’t use cuticle oil and she didn’t even thank me. Worst service ever! I don’t know how this place is still open!

I just moved to San Antonio from North Carolina I have tried several nail salons and I can say so far they are the best. My nails are even and shaped just how I like them the length was perfect, except one nail was a little off. But it was nothing to complain about. I didnt wait long to be seen nor did it take long to do them. I had NINA. I will be back!! cant wait to get a pedi here and see how that is also!

THE NERVE OF THE OWNER! Dont comment back to a customer with LIES. The lady that did my nails was NOT at all on a emergency phone call!! She even stupidly told me she was calling around looking for a particular nail polish color shes been looking for. NOT A EMERGENCY! No wonder your staff is so unprofessional the owner isnt even a stand up person. My nail broke because she put NO EFFORT INTO HER JOB. Never have I ever had a nail break while washing my hands one day after having them done and Im sure no one else has had that problem either. And this place charges WAY too much to be handing out botched jobs and having customers needing to come back because yall messed up. Poor quality work and poor customer service!!! Recently I went to Utopia to get my nails done, because honestly I love this place, every time I go here I get the best experience except for this last time, the lady was nice, she was very chatty which I like but it led to her doing a poor job, my nails are crooked and have a sort of weird texture that I’ve never had before on my nails not to mention it looks like they are missing powder, and look lumpy, I love utopia I really do, I just wanted to let you guys know so you can maybe speak to your employees. I didn’t say anything at the moment cause I had already been there two hours and I had more things to do, sorry. But I do love you guys!

First time I came here about 3 weeks ago and I was so scared because I am very picky on my nails. I got Tina and she was absolutely amazing got so many compliments. She is fast but takes time to make sure all are correctly shaped and how you want it. Highly recommended!

Rude!! They dont treat you like a valued client. Ive been there 4 times waiting for my daughter to get services. They even were snide with my daughter once, but I didnt want to cause a scene, so I didnt say anything. But witnessing a rude Asian man be scarcastic with a paying client was the last straw for me. Favorite nail place! Very clean, they always do a great job on my nails! I usually ask for Nina but I have gotten my nails done with other nail techs there and they do awesome as well! Many color selections! And they have fair prices. Love it here 🙂

I meant to leave this review several days ago. I went to Utopia Nails as a walk-in last Friday I chose them because I was not happy with the salon I had been going to and Utopia had a lot of good reviews. I was not disappointed.I received a pedicure from Bryan, the manager, and it was wonderful. I chose the cucumber pedi thinking it was going to cucumber scented (I love the smell and I guess I didnt really read the description), but I was pleasantly surprised when Bryan came out with fesh cucumbers that were cool and wrapped around my calves while I got the foot massage Wow! So refreshing and relaxing!Bryan and I had a great conversation but he allowed for quiet relaxation while he massaged my feet and legs. It was perfectHighly recommended I know I will be changing Utopia to my regular salon.

The staff is extremely nice and they are very hospitable, the salon is clean and relaxing and welcoming, but my nails were not done right at all. I sat down with a male and he was starving... he was so hungry that he was not concentrating at all on what he was doing, and he spent the whole time going back and forth from doing my nails to trying to order something to eat online. I told him I have no problem waiting for either someone else or until after he eats something but he insisted he was fine, but he wasnt. One nail broke the next day and none of them were filed down right, so my hair keeps getting caught under the gaps of the acrylic and you can see all the air bubbles around the sides and Im really unhappy. I will go there again, but I will not have that person do them again.

My whole experience wasn’t good at all. The nail tech rushed my full set and it shows. So disappointed because I only went to this location was the good reviews. Have polish all around the nail and cuticle. Kept getting cut from the drill and honestly it was not worth the price I paid

I cant really give a review on their nails.. All I can say is that after calling and asking if there was a wait, they said no. I arrive within 5 minutes to find out that there was a 20 minute wait. I waited. I then asked how much longer, they said another 20 minutes. They asked if I wanted something to drink, I declined, then left and got my nails done somewhere else.

First time here and as soon as I stepped in the door, I was greeted with a big smile and a choice of refreshments. My nails came out awesome and the atmosphere was comfortable and beautiful sight to see! Staff was awesome. I totally recommend this established!

Visited this establishment for the first time on Sat..read reviews which most were positive..unfortunately I was disappointed..had a pedicure by a gentleman..his service was not satisfactory..I get pedicures every 2 weeks but person I usually go to was out of town for 2 weeks..again due to positive reviews I took a chance..I had to ask this gentleman twice if he would please try to correct what I felt was not satisfactory..he expressed frustration which made me feel guilty for asking him..should I have felt guilty for asking him to make it right?? Needless to say I will NEVER again visit this place

I love this place. Unfortunately, I’ve been told a different price every time I go in. And I end up paying 10$ more than what they told me. I have gotten my nails done about 3-4x and the price keeps changing. I just want a salon with the prices to stay the same..

Since moving to this side of town, Ive tried other nail salons in the area and wasnt thrilled. I decided to try Utopia. They did an ombre and I was impressed! Ive received several compliments on them. Im heading in later for a pedi and get my nails done and shortened for my new job. I also showed up about an hour before they closed. They had other clients but still fit me in. They still took their time and did a wonderful job on my nails.

The person who did my toes did a really sloppy job, my main reason for my low rating is because Im in a ton of pain from my acrylic set on my hands, one of the fake nails on my fingers was too narrow compared to my actual nail and the guy kept filing my real nail until it was hidden instead of taking off the fake nail and putting a better sized nail for my finger. It HURTS a LOT, and looks really ugly. I picked this place for the great ratings, but I wont be returning.

Nails are nice quality but customer service was awful. The man doing my nails was clearly irritated with my kids being there ...Im a single mom and work 40+ hours a week so I dont have much free time, but I do like having pretty nails and toenails..... He was real short with me and there was a communication misunderstanding and he threw his arms in the air and said louder than necessary Thats not what I told you to do! Do this!!... Obviously upset at me. I should have just left right then but my anxiety wouldnt let me 😭😭oh and I asked for almond shape and I got round nails ...but I didnt want him to yell at me again so I just kept my mouth shut

Had the worst experience ever I walked in they sat me down and forgot about me I was sitting with my feet in the water for an hour the owner was trying to tell the nail techs I needed to be helped but they all didn’t seem to care one was talking her head off the other acted like she was too good to help me I got up and walked off with my feet wet and they didn’t even try and stop me all one petty nail tech said was “be careful” NEVER AGAIN will I come here THANKS FOR THE FREE SODA wish I could give this place 0 stars I should’ve stayed with Hectors nails on City base better service all the way around the nail techs should go there to learn a thing or two about customer service

Always having problems with SHELAC nails always peeling and nails braking off!!! 🤦‍♀️ needs improvement. This is the 2nd set that i get and this happens!! Got nails done oct 31 peeled and broken off nov 1. Manager needs anger managment classes! Treating clients and staff like they are trash, went to get my nails fixed and hes yelling at me to go to a different salon if i dont like there work!!
