I asked for a french manicure with purple instead of white with regular polish. This is a manicure I’ve gotten multiple times without issues with flaking or scratches, as I have a desk job and don’t do much labor. My first issue was that I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted, yet I had to correct him multiple times as he did my nails. I even showed it to him again (and the picture was extremely clear), but he kept making the tip too thick. He did the manicure with gel for the tips and regular clear polish for the rest of my nail, and he had me dry it down with a fan between layers. It was only $28 and I tipped $5. Within a week, three nails have flaked completely off and several others are chipped or are starting to lift from the bottom. I’ve never had this problem before and haven’t done anything differently. They normally last 2 weeks with minimal scratches and chipping. It was clear it wasn’t something he was well-versed in, and I wish he had turned me away instead of doing shoddy work.

Not clean, not professional. Asked for dip powder nails. Nails bumpy, rough, thick and uneven. Felt rushed and pressured to pick a color. Only about 20 colors to choose from. Dont waste your money.

As the lady was cutting my cuticles- she cut my skin multiple times- it was my first time getting my nails done so I figured a little pain was normal. But it started bleeding and became increasingly painful- I told her to stop bc it was painful but she kept going. She then put a second coat and it stung horribly. My fingers are red and inflamed and still painful 2 days later.

This place is going to be my go to from now on! My husband and I made an appointment to go to celebrate our anniversary! They were on time and ready to go when we got there. Our pedicures were amazing didnt hurt and wasnt uncomfortable. It was so relaxing! Kevin took his time to make sure my pedicure looked how I wanted and the same for my manicure. He was so meticulous paid attention to every detail to make sure my nails were to my standards! It was a great experience and a great quality nail salon. Thank you both for doing an amazing job and making our anniversary relaxing!!!!

I am very disappointed at the poor quality of work this nail salon has provided. It is located right next to HEB. After getting my nails done, I had to buy groceries then went home. At home I showed my husband my nails, literally not even an hour after getting them done and the shellac is already coming off. I had solar nails done and it has bubbles. I called but they were closed already. I do not recommend this place. I asked for shellac French tip on my toes because I know its supposed to last. Now, Im too embarrassed to wear open toe shoes for my special event.

My nails cracked within 24 hours of them being done. They always rush you towards the end or if someone walks in and they want that client . I can’t believe I wasted $100 here for my nails to look terrible for my wedding day. What’s the point of getting shellac nails if this sh*t doesn’t last a Day. I didn’t give them a one star because I went here for my Christmas party and got glitter dipped nails and they came out fine.

There was only one tech on site and he kept turning away people, but that was the only flaw. I got the 40 dollar pedicure and it was amazing, he was very nice and very helpful. Love my nails and will go back from now on I just hope they have more staff.

The lady cut me on the side of my foot then didnt even massage my foot keeped rubbing the top of my leg and was so focused on the TV . Dont think it was worth the 45$ . Only went there because it was by my work but never again.

Was my first time coming to Amor Nails since moving to south Austin, I came in with a wild photo on how I wanted my acrylics done and the woman who did my nails did an amazing job! There was a younger woman who did the slime drips on my nails and they look awesome, also stayed open 2 hours later than their closing time to perfect my acrylics & pedicure. Would definitely recommend💗

It’s pretty okay. My sister and mom go here often. My sister claims there’s a lack of sanitation and tools are reused. Her polish tends to wear off in a day or less.

Way to pricey for the quality of work you recieve

I came here for the first time today and everything went great! It was very clean, soft music in the background and great color selection. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and the times I’ve visited salons this is the first time the person doing my nails introduced herself (Natalie) first and asked me my name. I thought that was great and very polite of her. Normally they just ask you the color and shape and that’s it. I had a great first impression and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely terrible.. I asked for a French tip and then they couldn’t do it correct so then I said just to do a solid color. Left my nails full of gunk, stuff all over my hands, uneven pant job and the nail bed is uneven itself and they’re shaped poorly and in the last picture you can see it’s already chipped only 10 minutes later because in the process of doing my nails he chipped it already and went back with the acrylic and tried fixing my nail. As you can see it doesn’t hold. If I could give no stars I would. I demand a refund.

I visited the salon on Saturday, Sep 19, 2020 to get a gel mani and pedi. I was visiting from out of state and my recent homemade mani was already looking bad. Since I was in Texas to meet my boyfriend’s parents and sisters for the first time I wanted to have my nails on point and not worry about my mani or pedi looking messy (with chipped nails). My mother in law recommended me this place. I’m giving it three stars because I strongly believe the quality of the product used on my nails (white gel polish) wasn’t good. The product appeared to be old. I say this because when my toes were done I noticed dots (like sand) on my big toes and immediately told the technician. Although she fixed it, I was surprised as that has never happened to me at a nail salon (and ice visited many in the U.S.!) She kept saying the bottles have some sand in them but I’ve never heard of that. Moving on to the mani. When she finished the first coat of polish on my left hand, the polish had sort of melted. Imagine putting a hot blower on your freshly painted mani. The technician thought I had touched the lamp but that was not the case. She proceeded to file them but that didn’t work so she had to completely remove the product and reapply it. There were no issues with the right hand but I told them they should throw out the bottle and not use it again with any clients. 24 hours later my hands were already cracked and 48 hours later one had already chipped as you can see in the pictures. The technician was nice and patient but in the end the price was high $83) and result was cheap!!! I wanted to cry when I got home because I don’t like wasting my money like that especially with bad results. I gave her a good tip regardless because she never gave up. However my nails were not as on point and perfect as I knew they could be when you pay to get them done. So just a heads up to ensure they use a good or new bottle. I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the white polish but regardless as I customer I want to leave happy knowing my nails were perfect and that was not the case. To top it all off they cracked a day later. That’s what prompted me to write the review. Not worth the price for the bad quality.

WORST GEL MANICURE EVER!! I just went on Thursday and it started to peel on Saturday! It did not last 48 hours! I am so upset what a waste of money. I will never go to this place again. I took my daughter with me and they didnt even sit her at a chair they had her at a pedicure chair sitting all uncomfortable. And they cannot say it was busy because there were like 5 empty manicure stations available. If I can give them ZERO stars I would.

I came here for the first time under new management 3 weeks ago for pedicure and manicure with shellac polish and was very pleased. Nail job held up very well. This place is under new management. I never went here before so Im not sure about other peoples past experiences. But if you have not tried them under the new management you should if you live in the area.

Unsanitary manicure practices being used. I dont normally post reviews but I felt it was necessary in this case because I read reviews before I went, most of which were positive, but none that directly talked about this. Had they I would not have gone to this location.I asked for a dip powder manicure, and was horrified to find out they intended to dip my fingers directly in the powder rather than dumping a small amount out, using a brush to apply the pigment, so as not to risk bacteria someone else nails ending up in the powder and then on mine and everyone eles’s nail, putting us at risk for an infection. Also, while the manicurist was setting out the powders, before I knew he intended to dip my nails directly into the powder, he spilled some powder spilled onto the manicure station. Instead of cleaning it up and disposing of it, he used foil and the side of the nail file to pick it up and put the spilled powder back into the container it fell out of. Both incidents were incredibly unsanitary and a huge red flag. So even though their regular polish for my pedicure was good, I will not be going back to them because of the concern about infection due to unsanitary practices.

Seeing the reviews I assumed it would be a new salon for me but it was not . Went in Saturday and within two days my nail broke! I love long nails and did acknowledge that a lot of their clients liked them long as well. So the length shouldn’t have been a problem. Came back to get it repaired and I get laughed at for their workers mistake. Nothing is ever wrong with speaking a different language but they made it so obvious. I do not feel comfortable enough to come back here!. ALSO I have to pay 10$ to repair my nails.

Horrible!!! This was my FIRST & LAST time there! I had french tips and Natalie was my nail tech. After she put the acrylic tips on both hands I noticed one was literally slanted. Im asked her can you not see this one is towards one direction? She had the nerve to reply how u want it-straight??? The worst part was since the glue had set in the process of removing it to reapply was painful. I literally started tearing. After the whole process I noticed I lined my 2 thumb together and noticed the left was higher.... I was so over it. Told her she did a horrible job and of course I am NEVER GOING BACK THERE!

I got the shellac done there not even a 5 days ago and they started chipping on multiple fingers. Rude people. Have cuts all over my fingers from them running nail files too deep along the side. Was bleeding from the first one, brought it to her attention and she still did it . SoI went to another nail salon yesterday, and they asked if I did them myself. Very disappointed with this place. Avoid.

I have been getting my nails done every 2-3 weeks like clockwork for 10 years. This is THE WORST nail job Ive ever gotten in my life. I got a simple pink & white full set. My thumb nails barely have any white on them, theyre much shorter than my other fingers. They clear layer on top is bubbled & clumpy. The shape was supposed to be square & they came out slanted, skinny & I dont even know what shape to describe it as. On top up the terrible job, they cut my skin twice! I will never ever recommend this place to anyone, it was so terrible. Ive never wrote a review in my life but I had to sit in my car to earn anyone else who comes here. The techs are terrible! If u have an enemy u want to make look stupid, send them here.

My first time here and I got in pretty quickly with Natalie for a Coffin Cut Arcrilic full set. She did an amazing job, honestly I think the best job Ive ever had anyone do on my nails. If it were possible to give the place zero stars, I absolutely would. I have nothing good to say about this establishment. I paid over $100 (a full set for myself and polish for my two daughters). I was SO DISAPPOINTED with my nails that I immediately drove to my usual nail shop and had them soaked off and completely redone.I dont think they care very much about cleanliness either. My tech cut one of my natural nails and it flew into her drawer and she just closed the drawer up! There was also nail grit and dust everywhere!If you are looking for nails that are lumpy and short as toenails...then this is your place.Beware!!!!!!

It took the girl TWO and a HALF hours to do my shellac mani, I was so tiered to see how bad the nail looked after she was done, so I came back next day to fix it she didnt do much as well, the next day the color chipped and 3 days after the color peeled off completely. I did not want to come back to fix it again I rather leave this review to let the future customers beware of what to expect. it was a waste of $35

This place was horrible the man that did my feet kept cutting my my toes with a tool and a file and then he kept asking me if it was because the tool was hot I kept telling him ^ No^ that he was cutting me with the tool he would just say ^oh^ i know i should have left but its kindof hard just to get up and leave he didnt do much to my feet I diddnt even ask for a massage it was not worth 45 dollars this is not what Im use to they didint even use a plastic cover in the foot tub I will never go back to this place plus they charged me 45.00 For a pedicure... never again ... thanks

Very disappointed! Went in for a mani/pedi... the lady rushed thorough my mani and left my nails rough on the tips (even after they were painted they would snag on my clothing). The man doing the pedi seemed ok. Finger polish peeled off in 3 days. I paid way too much... got talked into extras and they were unclear on price. I nearly choked when she told me my total. Good thing I only do this once a year. So disappointed.

Developed a horrible toe fungus after having a pedicure done here. Please do not spend the $40 to get a toe fungus in return.Update: A year later and I am still battling it.It got even worse after visiting a different nail shop in Ingram mall called LAmour Nails.

Horrible experience was quoted a price and charged a diff price when i complained about how dirty the lady was and how she kept cutting me and hurting my skin whens he was doing my nails the lady would laugh horrible un professional need to report them lady kept whipping the brush with the acrylic on the table while she was applying to my nail just disgusting and using the nail file as a dust brush just horrible experience went back to get them fixed and all they did was add more gel and the lady made them shorter i need to report them!! will not go back do not recommend!!

I waltzed in here randomly with some crazy, Overgrown fills NEEDED to be handled. An older lady came out from the back and I could tell she was like, ah hell.....but she did an Amazing. Freakin. Job. I picked out a color and turns out, it was a gel Polish which I havent heard great things about....I wanted to stop her but she was so quick and diligent, I her keep going....so, she filled my nails with acrylic but then topped it with the gel Polish....it turned out freakin amazing!!!!! Best nails ever!. I was expecting colored powder and she surprised me with colored gel ON TOP of my already perfect acrylic nail. Love this place and I wish I woulda got her name. Once I figure it out, Ill share it with the world
