My mom took my broken anklet here, I didnt think anyone would be able to fix it since it was so intricate, and frankly kind of cheap (but I love it!). Not only were they able to fix a very complicated and fragile piece of jewelry, but they did it in less than 10 minutes and were so friendly, affordable, and attentive. We have used Moses Jewelers for the design and fabrication of three heirloom-quality jewelry pieces. The first was my wife’s engagement and wedding ring set, then my own wedding ring, and finally my custom ring to commemorate my graduation from medical school. In each case, Joey led the design work and made us feel as though we were in good hands. He combined his own design ideas with our inspiration to design beautiful rings that we cherish. Whenever we wanted to make changes to the rings, from sizing adjustments to increasing the setting height of the engagement ring, Joey and his team were quick to make any adjustments and we definitely felt taken care of. I cant say enough good things about the people at Moses Jewelers! My son and I visited Moses Jewelers in the summer when we were shopping around for a jeweler to create a class ring for him following a custom design which my son envisioned. We visited several very fine jewelers, but didnt order the ring right away. Time went by and I decided I wanted to give my son his college class ring for Christmas as a surprise. I finally got back to Moses Jewelers on December 3. They actually remembered us there and also recalled some of the details pertaining to my sons class ring design! They told me that the timeline was pretty short and it would be cutting it close, but that they would be able to get it done by Christmas! AND they would honor the price they quoted me back in the summer! As Christmas Eve approached, I was hoping and praying that the ring would be done in time. When I called on December 24th around 2:30 in the afternoon to see how it was going, they told me it would be done by the time they closed at 7:00.... But I had prior commitments about an hour away at 6:00, so I feared that I would be unable to pick up the ring after all and was ready to say, dont worry about getting it done today. But, they assured me they would have it done by 5:00. Sure enough, I walked out of the store at 4:55 with my sons beautiful custom class ring and he was the happiest young man in Christmas morning! And I was really, really happy too! The ring turned out just as he had imagined. Thank you to Moses Jewelers for bringing his design to fruition affordably and in a really timely manner!

I am so grateful I trusted the reviews and checked these people out. I wanted to take my mothers wedding ring and my grandmothers engagement ring diamonds and make a wedding band so I could have them both with me. I originally went to a different place, but the guy was a complete jerk (condescending) about my rings. They may not be really fancy, but their emotional value was worth way more than any individual diamond. He also wanted to charge too much. I decided to give these people a chance. Joey (Mosess son) was so respectful and kind. He showed me what he could do, and turned out charging me a little less (I would have paid more just for his kindness!) We were even able to use the rubies from my mothers ring to create a design in my husbands simple silver band. I almost cried when I saw the finished ring. Now I will have my mother and grandmother with me in these very special rings. The shop is beautiful. The people are so kind as well as very good at what they do. Local business at its best!

I purchased fire opal stones from an on-line auction house and I wanted to have a ring made. I had a design in mind and Mr. Moses was able to create a ring design based on my description. Amazing customer treatment and perfectionists!My engagement ring was personally designed by Moses son. I receive compliments everywhere I go. I took the ring in to be sized again following the honeymoon, they adjusted the ring to fit better, replaced a diamond from the wedding band that had fallen out and replaced another stone that is hidden underneath the ring. Had my watch cleaned and a new battery installed. They wete very friendly and efficient. I will continue to use them for all my jewelry needs.

I stopped by just before closing time on Saturday to have the battery replaced in my watch. After the battery was replaced, the back of the watch would not seat into the body properly. They informed me that they would need to clean it so that they could get it to seal, and that since they were about to close and were not open on Sundays, they would need to keep it until Monday or Tuesday to clean it properly and get the back sealed. I asked what the charge would be for that, and they said no charge, just the cost of replacing the battery. I had no problem at all leaving the watch, since I had come in right before closing. The fact that they did not charge extra, and I got a good watch cleaning out of it, was a real bonus. These folks are friendly and professional and I would recommend them without reservation.

My husband came here for my engagement ring and was able to design a totally custom ring. The craftsmanship and quality of the work is amazing! I ordered my wedding band from another place and it was NOT what I wanted. I brought it to Moses to see what could be done and they knew exactly what I wanted and fixed it for a VERY fair price. I have also taken watches here to be repaired and have batteries replaced. Stay away! Went there to have diamond reset. They set it so low in the setting that you couldnt see the diamond from the side and with prongs being so high they scratched everyone including myself. When i asked them if they could redo the way the original was done (set high on a taller 6 prong setting), they said, no this is how we do it. Bc my husband was terminally ill I had no time to deal with this matter, so 2 yrs later I went at Old Mine Jewelers. Not only did they reset my diamond the way it should have been done but I received a military discount as well. Thanks to Old Mine Jewelers I now look at my ring and smile again. Photos show how diamond surrounded by metal on top/sides.

My Wife and I wanted to have our wedding rings remade for our 15th year. We stopped at a few places on the west side of San Antonio, but the honesty seemed to be lacking from these other places. We had some repair work completed by Moses Jewelers years before, but we moved over an hour away and decided to drive out to them once again. Joey worked with me at the beginning of November on designing my ring .We went through a few paper designs before we came to our final design. Joey listened to every detail I was looking for and provided feedback with great suggestions during the process. Once we committed to the ring design, the great staff there kept me informed like clockwork weekly. They provided a remarkable and unique custom ring that I know is one of a kind. Once my ring was completed, my wife’s rings were brought in for their work. My wife had a guard ring that was her great grandmothers that use to be part of a set of 3, and we wanted to add this to her wedding ring to make a new set. We needed to make a duplicate of this ring and add it to her current wedding ring for the other side. It was imperative that the ring stayed the same for my wife; which, Joey’s computer design was flawless in replicating the new ring to match the old one. They were able to modify the main ring so all 3 rings looked like they were made for each other.End of it all, Joey and the staff at Moses Jeweler take pride in each piece they design. They worked on both our rings until we were 100% satisfied and then they went another 25% for good measure. We never felt pressured for anything we didn’t want. They were more concerned with finding and fulfilling what we wanted and exceeding every expectation we had. They provided weekly updates with our custom work and set real timeframes. You have no need to rush them or worry about your family pieces as they take great pride in their work and trustworthiness. If you notice any kind of issue with your completed work, they will work until you are completely satisfied. We will not hesitate to have their expertise of craftsmanship for any jewelry and we would rather drive the long distance to them than go anywhere closer. Absolutely amazing place. I needed an engagement ring desperately, and found this place by mouth of others. The instant we walked in we were made feel welcome. We were asked what we were looking for and our price range with all seriousness and kindness. They adapted to our design, since they had nothing similar, and to our budget without question. We bounced off ideas and Joey got to work doing the most amazing render of a ring which was exactly what we were looking for without knowing it! Joey did it again. I had a drawing in hand of my rough idea and a bag of loose stones leftover from the making a necklace and he and the team nailed it. You know how you have expectations in your mind and then you see something in real life...it could be exactly what you expected, not what you expected or the Holy Grail...better than you expected. These earrings are BETTER than I expected even though I was part of the design process. What this photo cant capture is the movement of all parts of the earring and how the facets on the stones catch the light. This is going to be one of those heirlooms pieces for my collection.

I walked into Moses wanting a custom right hand band for my anniversary gift- To say I am picky and detail-oriented to a fault, is an understatement. In addition, this was a rare opportunity for me to get something so extravagant. Therefore, the idea of buying something before I could see the final product in hand worried me a great deal. Joey and Gabbi gave me excellent customer service from the get go and calmed my nerves by insuring me that should the final product not be as expected for any reason, the piece could be remade free of charge. I was unable to find that perfect wow ring online-I wanted something unique and special that would separate mine from the millions of others of its kind, so I took the plunge, and could not be HAPPIER I did!...My ring was made exactly as expressed, and although I was given a digital rendering and wax mold, after the final product hit my hand, I decided two days later that I just wanted the overall feel to be bigger.... I was embarrassed to ask for a remake given the original was gorgeous and of no insult to Moses, just my preference for bigger that I didnt even know I wanted until the ring was already made (exactly what I was worried about to begin with-like trying clothes on in a store-you just dont know until you get home!).... they understood and honored my wishes- they kept me part of the process the entire time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, and they definitely did! I bought a pearl in Tahiti on my honeymoon. I just wanted a simple ring. I brought it to Moses’s and they listened to exactly what I wanted, and showed me examples. A week and a half later I picked up my beautiful pearl ring!

My mother passed away 3 years ago and I am getting ready for my wedding. I had quite the collection of cocktail rings that she had that I would never wear, so I went to Moses to see if we can re-purpose anything. Joey has infinite patience and worked with me to come up with this beautiful design. Ive got a couple of things left over and Im excited to work on the earring drawings next! My wedding band is custom from here, my wedding jewelry is custom from here, and the only thing I am sad about is one day when I move away from this town they wont be right down the road anymore.

I recently visited Moses Jewelers to have my class ring repaired and resized and they did a fantastic job! Not only did they fix my ring in a timely manner, but they were all so kind and accommodating, making me feel extremely comfortable leaving them with my favorite piece of jewelry. I needed a stone put into my ring. They fixed all the other prongs so I wouldn’t lose any more stones, and they made my 25 year old ring look brand new! I can’t believe how beautiful it looks! I definitely will be telling my friends to use Moses Jewelers!

Wow!! I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and needed an engagement ring. Just about all I had to go off of was a photo of a super exquisite antique diamond ring. I tried multiple other diamond ring shops both large and small. Everyone else either discouraged the whole idea or tried to sell me something else. But this was her DREAM RING! Moses Jewelers atmosphere is very trendy, up beat, and the customer service is impeccable.
