Ive used Republics services for many years and could not be happier with the service and the support Ive received from my account manager Patricia Baxter. She has always been quick to answer any and all questions. Most importantly, she has always provided great response times for our pickups and dropoffs. Great company to do business with! Dont overthink it when needing removal services, call Republic !!

The most awful experience of customer service ever! I work for a company that has a large open top container that fills up pretty quickly on some weeks and to get ahold of the customer service is impossible. Was on hold for almost 4 hours and the call failed! Finally got ahold of someone the following day and they lied and told me i had a scheduled pickup for the following business day... guess what... they never showed up. Had to wait for another 2 hours just for them to tell me that they can reschedule for the following day. This is an on going problem. They blamed it on COVID and being short staffed but we have been dealing with this prior to COVID. They need to fix themselves because this is unsatisfactory!

It be nice if the City of Selma would be warned to let their residents know that Republican would not be picking up trash on their Thursday 5/26/21 route due to mechanical issues and breakdowns.The City was not even aware of any misspickups for that day. Now the weekend is coming up and will have more trash than the norm.Bad Communication all around with its customers that are account holders with you Republican Waste.

The setup services are very poor. The pickup day is on a Wednesday. I submitted my form on a Monday and they got back to me Wednesday afternoon, saying I had to wait until the next Wednesday to get my bins since they bring them by on the same day. They didnt bring the bins by until after trash and recycling was picked up, so I have to wait another week until I can have my trash picked up. Whoever set that up made a big mistake. Why would you deliver the bins the same day service starts? People wont be able to throw their trash away for another week after that. Deliver them one to two days ahead of time... Also, Im being billed well before theyre performing services. That doesnt make much sense either

According to the paperwork im supposed to be charged every 3 months for services, but starting on the first month I got late fees (whole I was out of town for 3 weeks) with threats to cancel services. I had only lived in my place 4-6 weeks. Then, they kept sending bills with late fees piling up and when I would go pay online they would only have that olI owed about a third of the amount on the paper bill. It also didnt have an option to pay more. So I have kept receiving kate payment fees without a way to get completely caught up. Seems like a scam company. No phone number to contact them anywhere on the bill (I have not checked online). Overall Ive paid about $300 in trash services for 5 months. Much more than I was told I would be paying and I have no way to get caught up. Total scam.

This company will rip you off without any warning of the ridiculously high fees theyll charge you for canceling service. $75+ dollars is your thank you for being a customer of theirs. Do not do business with them if you can avoid it.

So today the driver picked up my trash can and then put it back down didnt even dump it in the truck and when he put it down everything mostly fell out of the trash can and then he left it on the floor laying down ..I have pictures to prove it too and now wet are responsible to clean up his mess SMH

They send out trucks at 1 am when people are trying to sleep. Ive called a bunch of times and even talked to the senior management team member who said they would stop the trucks from waking people up at 1 am. There is even a sign posted telling them not to be there and yet they ignore it!

These guys are completely inconsistent. Ive put 2 bags outside the can and they never take it. They leave trash that falls out of the can on our driveway too instead of picking it up. Unbelievably unprofessional and not worth it. Use Tiger or someone else.

At least 15 times now they have completely skipped over our house. I dont know why. At first I thought maybe too close to the cars. So I moved it. Then I figured maybe too close to the mail box. And i moved it again. Now I walk it further away and they still skip over our house. I have called and left messages through the Kirby office and nothing. This time the trash is full, had branches in there from that the storm that knocked them down. Okay maybe its the branches this time I dont know. It still doesnt explain the other 14 or so times. Horrible service. Is there some kind of refund I can get?? I just want a company to do what I am paying for. And other times they make a mess in front of our house and they dont clean it up. Some of it wasnt even our trash but it was there anyways. Just a horrible company and service provider. I will look for another provider or just cancel it and find a way to get rid of my own trash if this does solved

Horrible customer service! Called in to the local number on my can and got routed to the national call service.. They were rude, transactional, and clearly have no concern for their customers. They took a broken can and never replaced it. Now they are saying they will not replace it until I pay moneymoneyThat doesnt seem right, I pay monthly for the service. If I had an option in my area I would 100% switch. Unhappy.

The services very bad. The pickup day is on a Thursday. The whole week waiting for pick up, the sales department and customer services doesn’t have good communication between them. This is nightmare.

Is there a grade less than a zero? These guys overcharged our nonprofit organization for almost 6 straight months and have told me 2X over the last 18 months that they’ll credit our account but never has.I’ve called 3-4x to resolve and every time they tell me they’ll resolve but are yet to do so. Stole over $500 from us. And in the last month they increased our current billing by $25-30 per month without our acknowledgment or approval.I’ll repost if they ever resolve this issue. Worked with 3 account reps to reconcile. Start from scratch every time. Avoid this place like the plague!

I am with another vendor who provides service to this facility and I encountered Ms. Donna who really is a breath of fresh air. Her customer service is beyond exceptional and she really changed my day forward. Sometimes we dont get kudos for just doing our jobs, but I think this facility has an outstanding face of the company. Just thought Id share!

WE have commercial Lodging facility where we have 4 cu.yard dumpster. we should have service provided twice a week but apparently out of 8 services a month one or two was always missed. Their dumpster hauler had broke my new Iron fence which when I reported with all evidence was declined by there 3rd party representative with very rude and unprofessional way. None of there representative ever visited property to decide the extent of damage but claims that I need to have video showing that their truck damaged by fence !! No one else have capacity to even damage that heavy Iron fence with 4x4 inch beam, neither any other vehicle is ever parked in that area.I got stuck with Republic services when they took over company I was taking service from so I have never signed any contract with them. Now since there is no one in this area left who provide this kind of commercial services this guys started making there own rules. Price went up double in just over 6 moth after them taking over. When I had sold my business 1 month ago and we are doing remodeling and demolition of building they still wont close my account and stop my services. I got charged last month and they will charge me this month. They are saying that since I did not cancel there services when they took over other old company I was taking services from I am automatically got bound into there agreement which requires me to sent certified mail for cancellation notice 60 days prior to cancellation. I was never informed about this neither I have signed any of this agreement. I am pretty sure this is illegal activities they are doing and strong legal action must me taken to teach them lesson. Since this amount are very small to get into legal battle with this company they are getting away with it and flying under radar. I hope some day some law firm must file class action lawsuit to make them realize.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I was always waiting for return calls when I needed assistance. WAY over priced! We paid triple the amount to Republic for the exact same service that we are receiving now with another company. AND price was constantly going up. When confronting them about price comparisons they only would go down a few dollars. But when I was cancelling service after our contract was over then they were able to reduce the fees more. I dont think so!! You had your chances to make me happy as a customer but you failed. Never again will I use this company!

Worst company to deal with. Stay away from Them. They dont care about the customer. They charge you twice what other companies charge. Tray to cancel and you will pay for them to pick up the trash cans. Do not use them.

I ended service with Republic because they didnt offer weekly recycling pick up in my area. I should have had a prorated return on my account and found out later that I was auto-charged about $240 which included pick up fees and other fees and taxes. The rep I spoke with on the phone said there would be a $50 pick up fee, but they ended up charging $150 ($100 for the two containers I had and $50 for an extra container that accidentally ended up in front of my house that I informed them about). Spoke with a representative and couldnt get a straight answer on how the billing or charges worked. Currently being researched. Save yourself the headache (and the time) and go with a more reliable company like Tiger or C6

The billing department is HORRIBLE. They turned me over to collections in 2018 and it was all due to their billing & representative not disclosing certain prices, in writing. I was told, in writing, that it was all cleared and today, 2020, I get a collection call about the same bill. Stay away from this company!

Worst service, I spoke to 1 rep who said that I would be billed and refunded in 3-5 business days. 5 days later, now im being told they bill 1 day a month, at the end of the month then it takes 2-3 weeks for it to go back to my card.No one there is willing to help there.Only because I did work in the city of Schertz did I have to use this bull corn company.

Run from this company, very difficult to work with. Try to add hidden charges for things that never happened, etc. Calling in to correct these charges wastes a lot of time and usually takes multiple calls to get issue resolved. And three your contract automatically renews making it very difficult to cancel service. I very rarely write reviews but felt it was important to warn as many people as I can about this awful company.

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Dumpster at one of our properties is beyond over flowing despite months of attempting to get resolution with this company still no progress. Still havent gotten a bill to the correct address since the start of our account 5 months ago.They owe me a $1200 refund and of course I havent gotten it. Naturally mailed to the wrong address. The worst...next week Im heading to their office in town to demand resolution or Im camping out.

DO NOT sign up with this trash service. When we moved there, CPS energy told us this was THE trash service to call, we had no clue you could choose your trash service. They charged $159 just to start the service and deliver cans.They stopped servicing my neighborhood and charged me an additional $135 to pick up cans. They are the ones who discontinued service, not my fault. When I tried to reason with them over this ridiculous fee for picking up cans when THEY discontinued servicing my neighborhood, they would say we will get back to you.Then, they sent me emails saying they would turn the bill over to collections and ruin my perfect credit!If you are new to the area, call Tiger trash service , they are really good and more fairThey do not charge you extra money to start service or even if you are the one that discontinues service.If I had the extra money, I would contact a lawyer over Republic service trash in San Antonio.

We have called the customer support 5 times and emailed John (Field Rep) in the San Antonio office to discontinue service to no avail. We have escalated the matter 3 times, and still havent received a call from John!! Customer support states that due to the contract (which we were unaware of) needed to be handled by the field rep (John) in order to cancel. When we initially signed up for temporary services (3-6 mos), we couldnt get John to STOP calling or emailing us; not we can get him to email or call us. Dont have an issue with pick-up services. This entire review is reflective of San Antonio Field Rep John and his management.

My balance was $13 Aand they didnt want to pick up my trash. So I paid it and they still ddint pick it up.now Im going 2 weeks without pickup and asked to double pick up since they owe me a week. The lady hung up well yall can pick my dumpster cuz I got another company I say to all dont use this place this aint the first they do this to me and from what I read they really need to figure out how to run a company with customers service because this place sucks at it and I will tell all my neighbors and other customers not to use this place.

They do not honor contracts, they sent past due notices even though I paid for a full year of service up front. When you call to get the billing corrected you get the run around that someone from another department or a supervisor will call back. Which never happens and they are always surprised and apologetic that no one called back. Ive switched companies lets see how long it takes for them to pick up the dumpster

From 24 a month to 228 for the 1st bill. Understand the delivery fees of 100 but they wouldnt explain the other charges. So I paid. Guess they figured Id pay regarless because the bill constantly changes monthly. Stay away. They are in the right business though because they are garbage.

Be careful with this waste disposal company. I have been trying to terminate my contract for several months now and the account manager has failed to give me a direct answer to my inquiry. All I need is to terminate my contract (close the account) and have the dumpster picked up. I understand their will be a termination fee, but I havent received an amount. Ive been playing the phone tag game with the local account manager in San Antonio for months, I have emailed him and he has failed to give me a direct reply to my concerns, and I have called numerous times with the Republic central office explaining my situation.I will definitely not be using this company if I ever need waste disposal services in the future and will certainly warn friends and family about their company practices. This morning I called yet again and was informed I would be receiving a call from a different account manager, and I am still waiting for it.BEWARE! Signing up is quick and easy, but leaving is another story. I regret ever calling them.

My small church was charged triple the monthly amount for over a year. I was avoided when trying to cancel my contract. Periodically, my trash was not picked up because the driver didnt want to open our gates and lock them. The City of San Antonio has saved me money and trouble with my trash services for commercial. Im letting all my churches know to not do business with Republic Services. We must use our money wisely and work with honest businesses.

Horrible experiences over the past year with Republic Services, absolutely do not recommend if you can use somewhere else. Customer service is a joke and managers are conveniently never available. Paid for services 2/9-5/9, ended or services and arranged for cans to be picked up on 5/9. Recycling was picked up today 5/2, but our trash was not. Was told by one of your representatives that our account was closed 4/30. Would like to know why I have pre-paid for an additional week of trash pick up but it wasnt done. Then I was told I would get refunded, however, no proof of that anywhere but the word of someone with zero authority to guarantee that. Now Im left with a can full of trash, empty promises, and zero customer satisfaction. Lets see if I actually get a call from a manager tomorrow morning.

It must be nice to be in the kind of industry where you do not have to supply any kind of customer service. I spoke with Shanae this morning because I received another bill from them within 30 days. She totally justified the fact that we now will be paying $160 for trash service. I paid $69 last month and just received another bill for $89 due 8/9/17. !!!!! What the heck?!? She called me rude, didnt help me at all and then assured me someone would call me back so I can file a complaint.If you can get trash service from someone else - do it. I strongly advise you not to use this company.

Terrible customer service. Multiple calls are required just to get in contact with anyone who can provide the minimal support. All calls go to a nation wide call center where they just kick your concern to the curb. Stay clear from this provider.

Took my dumpster a week ago. I called in 5 times and nobody is able to tell me why or bring me a new one! Bills are always paid! Now I wasn’t able to use it for one week and still pay for it! Totally unorganized and unprofessional service!! Will cancel this service ASAP

Very dishonest company. Do not do business with these guys. They would frequently not pickup, and claim the dumpster was blocked. Calling them to figure out why was always the most miserable experience. They would always claim the dumpster was blocked, we would show them on our security camera this was not the case and never could get any help. Then they would change us to come back. We finally mailed them a letter and emailed them to cancel, both of which they claimed were not received. I wouldnt recommend this company to my enemies.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I have gotten behind on my bill twice (totally my fault). Both times I called a payment in as soon as I had money. The first time I made a payment they put it on the current bill (that wasnt past due) and turned off my service because of the past due bill. Payed it and the $35 service fee.Second time I called in to pay the past due amount. Specified I was paying the past due amount and not the current bill (that again wasnt past due) and confirmed twice that my service wouldnt be shut off. Again shady business practices and they put the money towards the current bill and shut off my service. They want another $35 service fee to start picking up garbage again, when my service should not have been stopped in the first place.Avoid this company!!!!
