Replaced a phone battery for my wife, dead weeks later. Another phone place checked it & says its an old battery. Bring it back and they say theyll comp the battery. Ask for a screen replacement too. No calls, we have to go in to check on it, they say they never said theyd comp the battery and are very rude. Scummy as the location.

Usually really like this place but the employee at the front was not wearing a mask. I understand that stores don’t want the responsibility of making customers wear masks but it’s totally unacceptable to let the employees go maskless in the middle of a pandemic.(Edited in response to management comments) The owner obviously doesnt understand that not taking the recommended safety precautions saves lives and anyone who plans on coming here should understand that in advance. Apparently a concern for my own safety and others makes me a self important judge instead of making them irresponsible.

We went to the store expecting to get the screen repaired but walked out with 2iphone xs max and a galaxy S9 with 3 $45 each case for $80. They have an option to put $50 and they run your credit or pay $80 and not run your credit. You get a credit line and based on that and your employment information that determines when and how much u will pay. I will pay $67 a week for everything. I highly recommend this store!!!

Wow top notch lucky Google search! Justin definitely knows how to fix phones. They had a replacement screen for my S7 Edge in stock. Replaced it and added a protective cover in about 2 hours. I dropped my phone on a ceramic tile floor so shattered the corner of the screen. No sales pitch for extras. Showed me where you access the SD card to add memory. Confess I didnt know my phone had this! I am not a techie so nice to know after I mentioned getting a message that memory is close to maxing out! Justin was outstanding helping this senior citizen and Army veteran out. Chose CPR on OConnor Rd over Dr. Phone at Forum. The man I spoke to at Forum didnt seem interested in fixing my phone. Didnt have a screen replacement in stock and would take couple days to get one. Highly recommend CPR and will use in future!

Took my phone in for an easy repair of the screen and to get a new protection screen. Received my phone back it started scrolling up on its own. Took it back they said they fixed it. Then had the same problem again. A few days later my whole screen came out of my phone. Seriously could have gotten a better deal from a cheaper place where I didn’t have to return to. Would not recommended taking your phone here.

Woke up Sunday morning to find my phone screen dead. Most of the other shops in San Antonio didnt open until Noon. CPR was open as of 10am, called them and was promptly helped on the phone. I have an older model Iphone, however, they did have a replacement screen in stock.Was able to walk in with no appointment, turn in my phone, waited about 15 minutes, and had my IPhone SE back to working condition! Price was great too, about $40 for a new screen + install, highly recommended!

U-break-I-fix was going to fix the glass on my camera on my phone for over $100, insisting they had to replace the back of the phone. CPR replaced it for $30! Highly recommended!

Good guy prices a little high but quality work

Not only are they great on price but the staff there never ceases to amaze me with how far they will go above and beyond my expectations. I originally brought my I phone in to have the battery replace and while doing so they noticed that you can barely hear out the ear speaker during calls; I would literally have to talk on speaker phone in order to hear the other person I was speaking too. While having my phone they cleaned out the speaker and fixed the issue at no charge to me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone I know.

I used this repair service and after one drop of my phone with a screen shield, and case. The screen is broken again. Whatever they use is very bad quality. Don’t waist your time and money with this place!

I dont leave many review for either bad or good service but for absolutely exceptional service I cant resist. I brought a wet and damaged generic at&t prepaid phone to these guys because it had data I needed on it. I had already taken it apart and put it back together. I thought I had ruined any chance I had by messing with it. I paid for the wet phone service and i didnt work. They called and said it needed something else I forget part name. I paid the half down they required and assumed the worst that they were just trying to milk me for some extra on a phone beyond fixing. But Isaac called and said after replacing the part I paid for it still wouldnt work but he dug in deeper at no charge and found a broken piece and welded a new one on and it sprang to life. He was just as delighted to provide the service as I was to receive it. I am absolutely thrilled with the service they provided and if I ever need cell phone fixing again I wont go anywhere else. I dont work there or know anyone outside of this repair as a reason to leave such a review. Its just so routine to get bad or mediocre service I felt obliged to go further for these guys as they did for me.

They were so helpful fixing my son’s Nintendo DS. When I dropped it off they said they would call me back in a day or two which was fine. They ended up calling me back within a couple hours that it was ready to go. The volume switch had broken off and now it’s good as new.

I needed a my laptop repaired for a small business that I run from home. It just stop working out of nowhere.(it was 10yrs old already) They told me they could fix it and also I could walk out with a brand new one for $50 if I qualified. I did qualify and I didn’t even have to pay $50 after all. I didn’t want my old laptop fixed at the end of it all. I never thought I would be able to buy a new MacBook Air and they provided me that chance. Great staff and very knowledgeable. Definitely going back to purchase another one after I pay this off in a 3 to 4 months.

They were friendly and very accommodating. I went in because my laptop screen cracked. They didnt have the part and said it would be a few days before it came in. They loaned me a computer monitor at no charge to allow me to use my laptop until the screen could be replaced. When the part came in, they replaced it in less than 10 minutes. Will definitely use them again if needed. Their prices were the best I found after talking with several other repair shops.

They have some new Manager Andrew who has no idea what hes doing. Ive been here a couple times so I know how what their prices are. He tried to charge me $100 for whats always a free diagnostic for phones and he also tried to charge my wife $100 for a iTunes reset when I know they charge $30.00 she also heard him laugh in the back about it. such a douche

I came to Portable Device Fix after smashing my entire iPhone 6 front screen. Brianna was quick to hold the last white front screen for me until I was able to come in. Extremely bad experience trying to get the glass replaced on my iPhone 5S. After the first glass replacement, the phone display began having a yellowish brown color around the edge and the touchscreen function did not work properly.Took it back the next day to get a new glass. After waiting over an hour, the employee told me the new glass he put on was scratched on all four corners and he had gone through all the screens with the same result. I would have to come back the next day once new glass arrived. I had to ask and the employee agreed to take $20 off the cost since I would now need to come back a third time. After leaving, I discovered that the touch unlock function no longer worked (had worked after original glass broke and after first glass replacement).When I went back to get the new glass installed, the employee could not fix the touch unlock function. I asked that they refund the entire cost to me, but they refused. Since then, I have discovered two small black spots on the glass which cannot be removed (must be on the inside). There is also a faint yellowish brown color around the edge of the display. I will need to take it elsewhere to get it fixed as I do not believe this store has the ability to correctly fix the glass on my iPhone 5S after trying 3 times.

We took a cracked but perfectly functional Apple Watch in for repair. The repair cost $300, was three days late being completed (one week total), and the “repaired” watch quit working after one week. (Today). We wish we had taken it to the Apple store instead. Incredibly disappointed.
