Usually have good quality work & a positive experience, except this time where I paid a total of $280 on one of their Kahuna packages for my convertible. There was a lack of attention to detail & the work was, unfortunately, very sloppy...at 1st glance car looked shiny & beautiful until I noticed the huge puddles of cleaner/water mix in my front grooved floor mats, my cupholders hadnt been cleaned, & horrible streaks occurred 2 days after I rolled my windows down; so I returned and they cleaned it again. But after that, I put the top down & noticed my back seats hadnt even been vacuumed. I noticed the grill also basically had started getting grimy...it looked like the cleaner hadnt been wiped off properly, too much was built up and just slathered on (which explains the great shine) but there are tons of bugs and debris sticking to it and just building up. Took it to get fixed and cleaned again elsewhere, they couldnt tell I had it detailed 7 days ago and pointed out more sloppiness....Im disappointed & didnt get my moneys worth.

Had a wonderful experience with Jose and his team this morning. I dropped an expedition max off at 9:15 for a full in and out detail, had a text that it was ready only 3 hours later! Extremely fast turnaround, especially for a car that regularly totes around 3 kids. The interior and exterior absolutely sparkled, I would recommend everyone bring their cars here.

After reading a lot of good reviews from Google, I took my brand new pickup truck to this hand car wash for the first time. It is Tuesday, not a busy day, and I am not in a hurry. I requested exterior hand wash. When they finished cleaning my truck and I came out of the lobby, I noticed right away that there is still visible dirty on the window windshield (Dead bug spots), the front grill, the side mirrors, and the wheels. I am not very picky but it is very obviously visible dirty. Not just that but they step on the truck interior with their mud shoes, left the mud prints on it and didnt clean up after it. It not worth the $40 when they cant do a decent job and I wont be going back.

Jose is a very calm guy that doesn’t really talk much, but damn he can wax and clay bar my car!! I’m my car looks better than when I first got it at the dealership after Jose and his team hand wash it! Love this place but am scared my legit review will bring too many people there lol

Great place to take when your car gets flooded with water. My car was soaked, they took my car in and one day turn around. Inside spotless and dry. And the carwash and interior clean was impressive if you just need that service!!! Manager was great at communication and to offer assistance! Highly recommended!.

I brought my car here a few days ago and was so happy with the result! They were very quick and took out some stains that had failed to come out with my usual car wash place. I would definitely come here again.

Dont bother with this place. Unless you call them directly for an appointment and plan to spend $200, they wont take you. I booked online the Gonzaba Med Detail. Made my appointment, got there, he asks for my medical card. So the website is just a ruse and misleading. I wont go back EVER. Even when i was leaving, they were still trying to sell me a detail. They only take care of their own kind and money people. Tjey should just stay down at Valero and only do their corporate accounts.

I wanted the engine cleaned in my 1784 ed. Tundra. I did not know they took appointments. I drove in they took me right away. Very good service. My truck was clean inside and out. They even shined up my Raiders hitch cover. They also glossed my Tonneau Cover. Thank you Jose. P.S. my engine is awesome.

Over the phone I was told 129.99 when I arrived it was 147.00 and they were finished it was around 180.00 other the price issue they did a great job it was little greasy inside car but not a unbearable where it didn’t effect my driving. My name is Jaykcob and I moved from NYC last year. I’m used to having my car hand wash and it was difficult locating an affordable but good quality hand car wash, until I found this location. I’ve been coming here ever since I found it. Jose is excellent with the costumer service and attention and I also like the fact that he’ll give you a time estimate if there are cars ahead of yours. This is by far the best Hand Car wash and detailing in San Antonio, Texas. I recommend it!

They took about 5 hours but the interior looks AMAZING I dont see any signs of where my gf threw up (lol) and it smells brand new.

These guys detailed my car on Saturday and it looks better than when I bought it off the showroom! The engine is spotless, the upholstery like new and the paint looks fantastic! I never thought a 10 year old vehicle could look this good! Ill definitely come back and heartily recommend them.

Terrible experience. My car was very clean when I brought it in and I just needed them to do a wash so they could wax it. They scratched my perfect condition car and denied responsibility. Absolutely no effort to rectify the situation, they just shrugged and claimed its not possible for their staff to scratch cars. The people who wash your car are poorly trained kids that dont care about scratching an expensive car. Incompetent. Unaccountable.

Best hand car wash I know, I been stationed at many States, there is no other car detailing place can beat this place for the price. As cars mechanically last longer; therefore, people keep cars longer, exterior appearance maybe a fracture.We decided on the Ultimate package on 2005 Escape and 1993 Explorer (yes, 1993). It appears that there is a concerted effort for each vehicle regardless of age of vehicle. This is a welcoming approach. Jose worked within the parameters of this mission. Its nice to see someone making an effort for regular people. Look to the standard star ratings, understand the difference in between,.At this time I would recommend for regular people.

The individual that appeared to be the manager was very impersonable. I was not happy with the quality of the wash and wax. Had to ask them to go over several spots again.The worst part were the the dirty windows that they refused to clean because the cleaning agent was too expensive. He wanted to charge me an extra $30 to clean the windows. Mind you, I already paid $100.I dont recommend and wont be back.

Very nice job detailing my car. Had a gate come down on the top of the car, leaving some nasty scratches. They were able to buff out the marks and my car looks better than before.

I took both my truck and car into this facility for an engine compartment and exterior wash. They gave me a two car discount and did a fantastic job of both but they also threw in a complimentary interior clean as well. No scratches just clean new car look again. Had scratches on my black SUV from a previous Carwash company & The Hand Car Wash brought my car back to life. I was very pleased & I’m very hard to please when it comes to big investments. I don’t mind traveling from the other side of town to experience their service, highly recommend this business. Last but not least I liked their service that much I had a friend come & get her seats cleaned that same day & she was pleased as well.

I purchased a car wash package and the owner is always to busy to take our vehicle. We went three times and he NEVER cleaned the vehicle. We asked for a refund and the jerk offered to do ONE cleaning for the full amount. That’s not acceptable. DO NOT pre-purchase services from them.

Had ordered the clay bar package and it didnt look like anything had been done with the clay bar . Also noticed minor scratches on passenger side door after they had left. If I had done a better job inspecting the job after, I would have noticed alot of things not done well. Vacuum job not done well, dust on dashboard, scratches left on door. Only thing that I can say they did a good job on was washing the tires and headlight restoration. Watched house video later that day and there was no wax done on top of car or clay bar, also noticed that the worker used the same drill he used on headlights on the side of my car that was scratched up explaining the circular scratches in the paint. No need to complain to company because whats done is done. I just know I wasted $130 dollars for something the washtub could have done better. Do not recommend their mobile wash service.

We have a 2011 Cedar Creek 5th Wheel travel trailer which was in dire need of some TLC on its exterior. We attempted to wash and wax the trailer ourselves but the result was a splotchy mess.Enter Hand Car Wash & Auto Detailing. These guys came out to the house, and in four hours, made our trailer look like new. They were on time and professional. We are delighted with the results. Thanks guys!!

These guys are absolutely amazing! Im wanting to sell my Camaro and had it literally not been for the license plate and this one ding on the passenger door, I wouldnt have known it was my car! It looked beautiful! They did some MAJOR work to get my car ready for an appraisal. They raised the value of my car significantly!

Got there at 4:52pm and asked how much for an exterior only wash and the guy said $20 but that they close at 5pm. I asked why the website and google say 5:30pm and he just repeated that they close at 5pm. Not sure if he was just trying to go home early or they actually close at 5pm but regardless he didn’t seem to care.

This place does the best detailing hands down. They take care of every single detail and the car comes out sparkling clean. The only downside is they get very busy very fast and the cars start lining up. That itself should tell you how good this place is.

I dont like to take my car to a machine wash because of the swirls. For this reason I needed to find a good hand car wash. This place is a little far of drive, but they do a great job! Joe and Richard took care of me, I saw a few overlooked spots and they were happy to take care of them. Thank you! Ive been here twice and havent been disappointed.

Took my wife’s Jeep to be washed after a trip to the beach with two huskies. Needless to say it was very dirty (sand, hair, etc). When picked it up, was very pleased. It was clean inside and out. The engine was so clean, it looked brand new. Highly recommend The Hand Car Wash.

Just need to start out by saying that I needed a Google Assist to locate a car wash Open for servicing. I Webbed Around to nearby locations to no Avail mostly closed I came across this one and heading out that way. Received excellent service however it was a rather lengthy wait. This is an older establishment drive up select your package, waiting area no snacks available.

I needed a detail on Sunday, due to a serious food spill in my vehicle. Two cups of chili between the seat and the console required the drivers side seat be removed and replaced. The exterior detail included clay bar, and black wax. The waiting room and bathroom are clean and comfortable. My car was checked in at 9 am and had a full detail before noon. Looks good and smells great.

My truck looks brand new! Highly recommend this place. They cleaned up a big mess quickly and with no complaints. Will definitely be back! Ask for Jose when you go!

I brought my car here on 1/25/2020, my wait time was 2 hours and they did a really good job on getting the stains out of my car seats. They only negative thing I have to say about this place is the fact that when I got my car back my radio was super loud. Unless they want to pay for blowing out my speakers, ask permission before you use my car for your music. The only reason I know it was them because they changed my radio station. My radio station was on 98.5 and it was changed to some music I dont even listen too. Also I had change in my cup holder and I just told them to put everything in the dashboard. Oh they moved it alright, into their pockets they only left the pennies. Then when I checked in I wanted the 169 option, they went ahead and did the 199 before asking me again if I wanted it. I would definitely think again before I come back.

I took my wifes car to get the upholstery cleaned as it was really dirty of years of spillage of drinks and food. The inside seats are of very light color (light gray) and the spots were very visible. I took the car in the morning and about 2 hours later picked it up and let me tell you the job they did was incredible. The inside looked like the day we bought the car. The seats were very clean. We were very satisfied with service here and recommended very much.

I live in Austin, yet do regular business in San Antonio. I ALWAYS rely upon Jose and the team for the Car Hand Wash. My car is BLACK, and you know how that is. So, no abrasive swirls left in the paint finish. Seriously, they do a great job, and I leave impressed everytime. Also, they have invested in their facility to accommodate customer comfort, while you wait. If waiting onsite is not your thing. Then there is close nice Subway, in short walking distance. **Great Experience and My car looks amazing...

Made an appointment online and brought my Ford Escape there this morning, they saw me right away, Jose looked over my car and got started on it right away. I waited there until they were finished and the waiting area was nice, with great wifi, which came in handy for me to finish up homework. I got the Kahuna detailing and they did a phenomenal job, they were very professional as well! I highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

On my first visit, I requested the showroom detailing on my newly purchased used truck due to an underwhelming make-ready effort by the dealership. I left it there for them to call me for a pick-up when it was ready. The service was good, but could have been better, considering the price. There were still bug remnants on the grill and mirrors (which I removed at home) and sand in the creases in the door seal (they removed when I pointed it out). At the beginning, I showed the salesman a pile of unidentified sticky goop in the truck bed left by the dealership. He said hed do his best to remove it. When I picked up the truck, the goop was still there - untouched. When I pointed it out, someone came and worked to remove it. They got most of it up in about five minutes, which means they never even attempted it earlier. These guys love their Armor All, putting a thick coat on everything including the brake and gas pedals which results in a safety issue. I would suggest having a cloth available to wipe things down again when you pick up your vehicle. I wouldnt purchase this service again as its a not worth the price, but I would consider taking my truck there for periodic washes. Its convenient for me and the folks are friendly and accommodating. **Update: The owner did contact me in an effort to make things right. I declined as I had already taken care of things myself. At a price of almost $300 for the extreme detail service, it should be done right the first time.

I used The Hand car wash for the first time yesterday on my 2011 Volvo S80. I was a little hesitant to spend $199 for the full detail;but once they finished, I was more than pleased with my purchase. The attention to detail was above and beyond anything I was expecting! They had two individuals working on it consistently for a little more than 3 hours. I highly recommended these guys if you want it done right!

I took my wife’s BMW Z4 in for their Big Kahuna Supreme Detail. They did an absolutely beautiful job and made it look brand new, inside and out! The care they took and their attention to detail were exquisite. Highly recommended!

I originally gave this place 5 stars and a great review. Im taking it all back now, here is why. First, they cleaned/detailed 3 of our trucks that we brought from the field. They told me that they work for Enterprise and clean oil field trucks all the time, so they knew what they were doing. They picked the trucks up and dropped them off, thank you for that. But, when they brought them back, one of the trucks had the FOULEST smell. I mean, it was just disgusting. Alfonso told me hes seen it many times before, and since they were out in the field, an animal had likely crawled inside the dash or something and died. So, for months Ive been working on finding a place to take our truck apart and extract what we all thought was a dead animal. We finally found a place and they just called to tell me it is NOT a dead animal, it is not a dead anything. Its MILDEW from the floor boards being SOAKING WET. Its literally been 2-3 months since weve had these trucks cleaned. ITS STILL WET. We paid over 1,000 dollars just to have them SOAK and RUIN our trucks carpeting and floor boards. SERIOUSLY?!?! So, now, we have to get the truck taken apart completely AGAIN and have all new flooring put in. Honestly, it did not smell that bad when they picked it up. I knew something wasnt adding up. We will NEVER be using this service again. And, I would warn anyone to stay away. HUGE waste of time and money. Now, this truck is becoming a money pit. Thank you for absolutely ruining our truck. This whole project is now a headache because of your company. TERRIBLE.

Jose and his team are incredible. I brought in my college sons 2006 HRR in for a full detail to give to his younger brother. It had stains on the seats and the arm rests were soiled. They cleaned it to brand new. They shampooed the soda stained carpet to a great condition like new. The hand wax was dazzling. They even cleaned the engine compartment. The headlights were that dull yellow look. They restored them to new. Wow. I will be bring my other cars here. THEY ARE FANTASTIC.

9 year customer. Been singing praises of this place for years. During last visit, crew broke off my shifter handle button and tried to put it back to hide it. Fell off on my way home. Couldn’t put my car in park. Manager first said it wasn’t them, then said it was but the crew told him after I left. Accidents happen and I forgive easily, but I don’t appreciate the cover up. No issues during my dozens of other visits but won’t be back.

I Google it and TaDa.... found the perfect place to pamper my baby. I highly recommend this place to everyone specially for anyone who owns a high end vehicle.

Not bad! My first mobile detailing experience, and my first detailing experience since moving to Texas. I went with the extreme showroom detail. The team that showed up were very nice, and it took a little over 2 hours. Theres maybe a spot or two on the interior that couldve used some extra TLC, but its also an older car, so those spots might be as clean as theyre going to get, and thats not their fault. Theres definitely an attention to detail, because all of the tiny spaces that fill up with dirt and leaves that you only see if you open the door or the trunk, all of those spaces were cleaned very well. The manager and I had a slight misunderstanding about pricing, but he was polite, and we came to an agreement. Overall, they did a good enough job that I plan on ordering the service again!P.S.TIP THE WORKERS! If you can afford to spend $100-300 to have your car cleaned, you can cough up some extra $$$ to tip the people working their butts off in the Texas heat to clean your car. Sure, its their job, but show a little appreciation (if youre satisfied with the service).

Went in on Saturday and had my car washed, clay barred, and sealant waxed. It looked great as it was nearing completion but then it started pouring rain. The manager discounted me and wrote in on my receipt to have a check done on the sealant wax the next time I go in. After drying it off from the rain in my garage it still looked good. Thanks :)

Bought the Kahuna package and we were very pleased with the service. We were worried at first since our seats are leather white but they did an extreme job in cleaning both interior and exterior of our car. They even removed a sticker remnant from our windshield. The price and wait time were worth it. Keep up the great work!

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR DO NOT WASH HERE. YOU WILL GET SCRATCHES, TERRIBLE WORK. VERY DISAPPOINTING. I got a couple of deep scratches in the painting of my car, after talking to them they never wanted to admit to that, will never be coming back again and advise everyone not to come here if you worry about your car.More than 4 scratches came to the body of my car after they washed it. Clear that they are using cheap materials and careless personnel. The reason why I came to hand wash is to get high quality wash. Instead this place made a lot of scratches to my vehicle (see picture). This kind of scratch could happen only if some kind of reaction with the paint is there. That was even more evident as I realized that they are distributed all over the vehicle. Their answer after talking to them was to buy end touch paint!!!!

Wildly impressed with their service. I bought a used truck from an old man. A very messy old man (it was cheap). These guys quoted me a price and 3 hours...it took three of them 6 hours and they still honored the original quoted price. And then they literally pulled my truck apart, took seats out, took carpet out and I was just in awe of the job they did. I will be driving the hour drive to come back to these guys in the future.If you’ve got a vehicle that you’re getting ready to sell/trade in/ or just want to spring clean after your kids/pets have destroyed your car, I’d definitely bring it here. They do an incredible job.

My car looks like it did the day I drove my car off the lot, literally! These people are AWESOME!!! Raul was very professional and made it known that they strive for 100% satisfaction and no less. I am ecstatic over the way my car looks and smells now. They did a fantastic job!!!! It is best to drop your vehicle off with them; otherwise, you will have to wait underneath the tent awning. I was so pleased with the service I received that I left a $40 tip. I highly, without a doubt, recommend this place to everyone. I am VERY pleased!!! :)

I called ahead to ask about getting my cars interior detailed. The guy I talked to told me itd be no problem, come on over and theyd get it done that day. When I got there the attendant told me they didnt do interior detailing after 200 pm, mind you, Id called at 330pm. I dont leave negative comments often, but being lied to is bad business.
