Dimas, his son and the employees are great guys. They helped me repair my Jeep and Volkswagen. They can talk directly to the insurance company for you. Great work, great people.....they are a reminder of how people, who are from San Antonio, conduct business verses the out of town businesses who have no clue about San Antonio and its diverse community are about. San Antonio nice still does exist at this business...I highly recommend Abels Paint and Body. Family owned and theyll treat you like family too.

The owner is direct and to the point-Not a salesman catering to your weakness of nice means good work. Some find this safe space rude while I found it comforting knowing we do not have to haggle on something I have no idea of what I am talking about in the first place (If I did...why didnt I fix it myself in the parking lot of Starbucks with their friendly service?)At the end of the day, this company did a great job on my Cadillac. As with anything you are going to have to pay for it if you do not have insurance-which is your fault. If you have insurance, the owner works with YOU not the insurance company to make sure you get the vehicle properly fixed. Remember..Insurance companies DO NOT fix your car, they try and save as much money offering the bare minimum to get your car fixed. All in all...I am happy. These guys did a wonderful job on my transit connect. One of my techs for River City Security was bumped behind by another car. We took it to Abels paint and body. The guys did such a great job even fixed one of my mirrors that was not working. If you want quality services done right now games! Go here!

Great work, done quickly, fair price, five stars. The owner is a very no nonsense kid of a guy. If you want chitchat and free coffee, this is not the place. My car had extensive body work done and it took less than a week. Dont believe the bad reviews without considering for yourself.

I find the variety of reviews here strange because my experience with Abel’s was top notch. Fair priced, good customer service, communicative, quick turn around. They worked with me to find prices of parts that fit my constrained budget, and their work was exceptional.

I went to Abels Body and Paint Shop looking for a paint job on my motorcycle. I asked them for a quote and showed them the 5 pieces I wanted to paint. They were already removed for the motorcycle, just needed to be prepped and painted. (Front and rear fender, gas tank and two small plastic pieces on the sides.) I wasnt looking for anything special, just a flat black paint job. They quoted me $1200. I verified all of the information and made sure they knew they were just painting the parts stated above. They confirmed $1200. These parts MIGHT cover the square footage of two car doors. So, if you want to be over charged for simple paint jobs then sure, go here, but I know that painting these small pieces of metal/plastic would not cost that much. Also the guy that gave me the quote was rude once I showed a surprise gesture on my face. I understand that this place does quality custom paint jobs and body work but the amount of money they want for the small amount work needed for what I was asking was astronomical. FYI. I know a lot about auto painting. I used to do body work and minor paint jobs for a collision repair shop. $1200 would buy me an air compressor, the gun and the paint so I could do it myself.

_ I went to this garage, the Owner is very ( short RUDE person ) he is always there & always Rude, but Alex was a good friendly Man, in general its not the kind of garage that you can make a deal - agree on a date to finish the job - get a price quotation - leave the car with them - and come pick it up the day was agreed on!!!! NO NOT at all! theyll keep on pushing the due date by giving excuses !!! and thats not a big deal towards pricing their (Custom labor price) are not compatible with their facilities !! the ask for lots of money without giving you the service you paid for!! its a dirty garage it just not a professional garage to do custom work with!!_They sprayed or painted my front bumper, although they got the color right but the job was (not clean) like there was extra paint tears in the edges, its just like this ((( - I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN - )))
