I will never use this shop again. They took the dash out of my truck twice to replace the reservoir that keeps water from getting inside your vehicle. I paid $1500 including labor, and I moved from San Antonio a few weeks ago, and the same problem has resurfaced. I had to take to dealership and they tell me the drain line is clogged. The unclothed it, but charged $135. I asked this shop to cover the $90 diagnostic charge and they wouldnt assist. I moved 6 hours from San Antonio and they are talking about bring the vehicle back. Im really done and if I relocate back to San Antonio, you can believe I will never use these guys again.

They’re okay, but must take care of details.Service was quick.Update:It took them 20 minutes to drain the oil into the pan!!!! That could have been done in 5 mins tops. When I arrived on this PARTICULAR day I was not even looked at!!! Until I looked to one of them straight to the the eyes then he let one of the guys to come over.

The Mexican guy there is so rude, and unprofessional. I am really sorry for the owner he is very nice, but I believe if the Mexican guy still work there I believe he all his loyal customers like me will take their business somewhere else.

I use to take my car for repairs for years.the people for the most part changed and so has the quality service.i recently had my rear brakes replaced. My car was squeaking before and even still after. I take it back to the same shop due the lifetime warranty of course. They always say they fixed the problem but the problem gotten worse. I decided today to take it to another mechanic and I was told whenever they replaced the rear brakes they never cut the rotors and I needed front brake replacement and rotors cut to. Paid $150 bucks and boom problem gone. Not one squeak. Shout out to CD’ automotive. Econo will never get my service after being lied to and told excuse after excuse then to be finally told there’s nothing else they can do to fix the squeaking. Don’t waste your money or time. I miss the old crew of people that actually knew what they were doing

SCAM alert this buisness charged my mother who is a senior citizen $800 to fix some issues with her car they do not offer warranty on their work and she is still having the same issues with her car. These are thieves who prey on the elderly.

This business is dependable and efficient. I have had several tires repaired over the past three years and the plugs held for the life of the tires. Workers also advised me when it was not safe to plug one of my tires, and the price of the new tire was much cheaper than the other price I was quoted. Service here has always been super fast.

Just got my oil changed. The staff acknowledged mw quickly. Were very polite and thorough. Showed me everything they did as they were doing it. What mt oil level was before and after showed me the filter after they took it out and the new one before putting it in. Oiled the doors, cleaned my windshield, offered complementary beverages.Took 20 minutes or less with a vehicle ahead of me.Quick. Efficient. Friendly. Service.

Thought about using them for a major service so I stopped to get an inspection sticker to get a feel for the place.When I asked why they charged $10 instead of $7 like the state says they should, they simply said is for miscellaneous fees. Glad I did this simple test before requesting major service. Who knows what miscellaneous fees theyd cone up with then. Dont go there.

I have got to say, talk about going over and beyond for your customers. Not once but twice they took my husband and I to 3 different stores because Auto Zone (twice had the wrong part in the right box) messed up twice. They did an amazing job and even though an hour brake job turned into a 3 1/2 hour job, I wouldnt have done anything different other then never shopping at Auto Zone again. Hands down the most HONEST mechanics!! My car was overheating so I took it to the nearest shop and they told me it was going to cost $360!I decided to take it elsewhere and ended up at Econo Lube & Tune where they ended up charging less than $70 for a hose I needed replaced & now my car is like new again.Never going anywhere else!!

I just had one experience but thats enough to learn from mistakes. They werent responding firmly to my questions( between I didnt ask super mechanical questions) and always posing them super busy with stuff. I got my spark plugs replaced and still had maintenance warnings displayed on my car dashboard the very next day. I took it to them again and they fixed it. Dashboard showed the maintenance sign again. I spent $270. During the scheduled maintenance at Chrysler authorized dealership, they asked me who replaced my spark plugs and when I said that I fixed here at this place, they said they didnt do it right and will reduce the lifetime of the spark plugs due to that. I would rather go to the mechanic who fixes the problem properly. They seem to take advantage of people who are unaware of these things. Thats the baddest thing

My BMW has a big scratch on back which was not there when it was given for repair. Infact they took pictures of all the damaged before taking the vehicle and gave a big scratch which they are denying to. Frustrated with the service and sales person who is lying that few photos were deleted where the damages existed earlier. I recommend not to approach this shop unless they assure you of your car safety.

I went in to get my breaks done, they were very friendly. Excellent customer service, I was told exactly what needed to be done and the service was very quick. I would also recommend to anyone needing work done to go here.

I recently moved down here when my truck broke down so I brought my old 98 truck to have a couple major repairs, they worked fast and the price was awesome. I wont be going anywhere else! Its nice to have a great mechanic on your side!

Dont bother going to this shop - cheap service, unprofessional, and a messy shop. My grand-daughter had a serpentine belt replaced incorrectly, which prevented the alternator from charging her battery. She was left stranded late at night so we had the car towed to her normal mechanic who identified the problem. Mohamed at Econo Lube N Tune arranged to have it towed to his shop for the repairs, but absolutely refuses to offer a refund or a credit for the original tow ($95) or the mechanicss diagnostics fee ($80). Ill update this review after Ive spoken to the corporate office, but I dont recommend that anyone do business with this shop (my family never will again).

I have been in San Antonio for 3 years and this Econo Lube has become my go to shop for anything I need repaired. I haved serviced my1998 C230 (w202) from oil changes, engine work, suspension, and even a broken window. Everytime I have left more satisfied than the last time, and am confident in recommending this shop to other Benz owners who cant afford dealership rates. If you need an honest mechanic (very rare in SA), who does the job right the first time while offering competitive pricing, this is the shop to go to in all of San Antonio.

I have watched on YouTube how econo lube gets busted for lying to customers about repairs they don’t even do on hidden cameras tv station set up...but when I needed just a simple oil change they tried to cheat me and leave me with my old oil filter. I know that oil filter for my particular car sometimes hard to find but I asked the manager twice if they have and he said that they do. I went to have lunch across the street for 30 minutes and they still haven’t done anything to my car. When I asked what’s the problem they told me they don’t have a oil filter but surely enough they took apart all stuff in my car and drained the old oil. So they filled my car with new oil but didn’t change the filter and he tried to charge me for full service. I’m so glad I was there to see what they were doing cuz they wouldn’t even tell me that they didn’t replace oil filter. I want them to be honest and I totally don’t trust them.

Had my car for 4 days and couldnt even tell me anything until day three. If I didnt have to tow my car to move it I would have never let them work on it. Plus at last minute he added in another charge bringing up my total from just 100 to 230! Never going back.

UPDATE: This place used to be great but Mohammed no longer manages the day to day. I have only had one experience with the new crew, same great low prices and speedy service, however for a simple AC refill job the mechanic forcefully closed my hood causing dents on the top side of the hood, each a couple inches off center right where hands go when closing the hood. My entire front end had been rebuilt due to an accident two weeks earlier so I am positive it was brought into the shop in immaculate condition, I had actually been showing the work off earlier the same day I dropped it off. Unfortunately I did not inspect my car before I left on a Saturday afternoon and didnt notice it until later that evening when it was in my driveway. I was not able to contact the shop until Monday, and even then no one returned my calls for the messages I had left. I had to show up to the shop to get them to discuss the issue. The manager and a mechanic denied it could have been them without even talking to the mechanic who did the work. Apparently they thought it was not possible to dent a hood in this way with barehands and that it must have been a tool dropped on it, despite no scratches whatsoever. I asked to speak to the owner Mohammed and they told me that would be very difficult as he is rarely in the shop. I asked to call him and they refused to give me his number, so finally I just asked that they give him my number so he could contact me. He never did, to be honest Im not sure if he even ever got my message. This place was great and used to be my go to mechanic shop for just about any job, however now that I see how this new crew operates I will no longer be a customer of the shop. If someone can be CARELESS enough to damage a vehicle simply by closing the hood too forcefully then I would hate to think what kind of damage they could do working on the internals.

These guys do great work and have always gave me a great price. They are trust worthy and I have never had a problem. Some people say that they try to rip you off but that is most likely due to ones ignorance.

The worst workshop I have ever had dealt with. They are disrespectful and ignorance. I got my auto AC fixed at this workshop. They changed 2 hoses with new one. After 1 week one hose inlet start leaking. I went to them before they close 20 minuts. The guy who fixed it refuse to put some verion to test it . He said, he does not want to waste the verion and he did not care about wasting my time. They asked me to come next day. Next day I asked them that I do not want the same guy check it. Mohammad, who is responsible about the shop told me that this guy is only the one who can fix car AC. And there is no one understand anything about AC accept this guy. When I asked him, if this is the case, why did you let other guy yesturday check my car AC . He wrecklessly said . Just he wanted to see and try. Then , he let new one try to fix my car . When I stoped him he refused to fix my car regradless that the work is under their gaurantee. It was just 1 week. I got it fixed in another work shop. And they told and show me that the leak becuase the guy tighted the ring inside the new hose too much. So he broke it and start leaking. They seem nice when you go to them first time. Yet, they will suck your pocket by replacing parts and add some work that is not required for your car. In addition, the work they do and claim that are under worranty. If some thing happen during warranty time, they will not do it and if they do, they will humiliate you by keeping you waiting for hours and serving other cars which come after you as they did with me then refused to fix the car. Avoid them at any cost.

Went to get my oil change and then there was an issue with my power steering that ive never had before! I assumed it was them so I confronted them, and they quickly turned on me. They said it was my fault and i brought the car in that way. They refused to believe other wise. Terrible customer service. I took it to Car X down the road and they said they dont think they did something to it, it just coincidentally had an issue at that moment.Regardless, no customer service, straight disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! These guys will look at you right in the eyes and disrespect you. I would recommend going to a true american car shop. This place is unprofessional.Btw, Im at the business next door every other day in case somebody has something to say

The oil change was fast but they started to tell me that the breaks on my SUV where bad and I had a transmission leak. After looking at my breaks the front still have 50% and the rear have 75% can you say up sell mutch.
