Brent and his team are the best. This was my first car that I bought when I was 16 so I had been waiting 28 years for this restoration.Brent treated me with respect from the first moment. I was given an initial estimate and an invoice every week. I ended up going WAY over that initial estimate because of the choices that I MADE. Every step of the way, Brent gave me choices and let ME design the car that I wanted. I always felt in control of the process and trusted that Brent had my best interest at heart. We could have completed the car for the budget that Brent originally gave me but I had so much fun adding goodies, AC, power steering, bluetooth here and there and completing the car to a level that I am proud to show off. It turned out flawless, turns heads and gets thumbs up wherever it goes. The restoration process and working with Brent and the Mustang Ranch team was something that I will never forget. Even if they were busy I was greeted every week with a smile and someone always willing to show me the progress that was made the previous week and know what to expect in the coming weeks. If you want to restore a 50 year old rust bucket, doing it the right way is going to be expensive. Get used to it. Brent and his team do top-quality work and back it up.

Very happy with the body and paint work. I took my 71 Mach 1 to the mustang ranch for a complete interior and exterior restoration and color change. I just picked it up and am very pleased. After reading some of the negative reviews I was hoping I would not be disappointed. I was not. The car turned out beautifully and I would recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks guys

This is the place to go if you own a classic Mustang and want to bring it back to showroom condition, or even better with custom paint, engine, or other features. Under new ownership -- much more responsive and efficient than in the past.

Took my 71 Chevelle SS in for a body and paint restoration bid. (yes they do restorations of more than just Mustangs) Brent inspected it and gave me an estimate that he said would not be exceeded unless I added more to my wish list. So far its been the best experience Ive ever had with a repair shop. Brent and his wife Heidi the owners have been so good to me, they have been very honest and fair, Heidi is in the office She and Brent have both been a pleasure to work with. She makes sure I get weekly updates and photos of the progress of my dream car. I also go in to inspect the progress weekly and Brent will drop everything to show me the work in progress and I can see the quality of the panel replacement welds etc. It is great to see the body work is being done right because as Ive learned from past experiences paint can only temporarily hide bad work. Cant say enough about Brent and Heidi they are Awesome people to know and so far Im very happy my car is being restored at Mustang Ranch. I have a few pics of completed panels but photos cant show how beautiful it is in person. Feel free to stop by and ask to see my car and you will be amazed at their work and you to will be wanting your classic car to be restored at Mustang Ranch having your dream come true! I will post my finished car when it is done with my final review and final photos. Cant Wait! Wooo Hoooo!

If I could give it a zero I would do just that. Thousands of dollars of paid repair had to be redone. Instead of cutting out and replacing bad parts they simply covered the damaged. Awful waste of time and money. If you’re shopping i’d recommend you go somewhere else. Customer service was as bad as the repair. The owner is almost never there when the finalbill is thousands more than the original quote.

Over the years Brent has painted and or repaired at least 5 cars of mine, a 55 T-Bird of my Fathers and a 65 Mustang of my brother in laws. I give Brent my business because he is the best with color of anyone I have ever seen and his body guys are amazing. The welding done on my last project was nothing short of art. I wouldnt consider taking my classics anywhere else. When considering doctors and car restoration I use the best, I could care less about beside manner. Brent wont tell you what you want to hear, but will tell you what you need to hear. He recently finished a 67 Porsche 911 for me and currently he has my 56 F100 He does great work.

I had Mustang Ranch restore my 69 Sportsroof, several years ago. I am still very happy with the work. I will not say it was inexpensive. Nor was it quick. But, the work was wonderful. And, I was kept in the loop. Any dissatisfaction was created by me, and a hey, while we are at it, lets add... attitude. I would suggest that any restoration (car, home, or what ever) have a clear direction, and understanding of your needs and objectives. Thanks to Brent and Heidi, for their efforts and help.

JOB WELL DONE...Went in for an estimate on some body work and paint on my truck. I felt like I was talking to a really honest guy and got a quote. When the work was completed on my truck, I was very happy! I have had body and paint work done in the past by another company and the paint didnt even match... I will just say that Brent really takes pride in a JOB WELL DONE. In the future I would defiantly have Mustang Ranch do my auto repair work!

Brent seems like a good guy. He spent time with me to talk through a few issues I was having with my 67. He shared some of his best practices as well.He did a good job for me, repairing my front end suspension/alignment. It was a fairly small project, but he did a good job.

I had Mustang Ranch restore my 1968 Mustang Coupe. I took it in to them a faded gold 6 cyl. and it was returned to me a couple months later a 500 hp, cobalt blue award winning show car. I have read in other comments that some customers have complaints about cost and estimate. When I first took my car in, Brent and I came up with a rough vision and budget which Brent told me to now double and think about what I really wanted out of the restoration. I was rather taken aback by this statement and asked him why he would say this which he replied, Many times you run into unforeseen issues and there seems to always be customer change orders from what was originally discussed. Brent was right on both counts, it turned out that the entire floor pan of my car was comprised of old road signs and the previous restoration was a rust cover-up job. After Brents team repaired the issues it was my turn to contribute to his statement. I made over 20 change orders and probably would have have made more had Brent not quietly reminded me, Now Steve think about how you are going to drive your car 80% percent of the time, do you really want to do this? In the end, I did spend more than we had originally discussed, but not by any duplicity on the part of the Mustang Ranch. They promised me a award winning show car that I could drive like I stole it, and they delivered.

Mustang Ranch and Brent has been great to work with. Dont listen to any bad reviews, go meet with Brent or call him up to discuss your project. You will be impressed. We were able to discuss my 67 mustang project and outline the work I wanted his help with. Since he has been doing this for 20 years he knew what it would take and also what problems may arise when restoring a 50 year old classic. His weekly updates were great and he was always respectful of my budget and his initial bid. He warned that most projects go over budget due to the owner changing their mind and adding along the way. I did end up spending more than the original bid all due to me changing my mind and upgrading, like disc brakes, swapping gauges, and upgrading air shocks. Brent was great at answering my questions and never once tried to upsell or take over my vision. And even when I did change plans, he gave me accurate cost increases. Also was great when I wanted to stop in and check on the progress. Give Brent a call, and even bring up any concerns you may have. I highly recommend Mustang Ranch.

I would highly recommend Brent and Mustang Ranch for a restoration, restomod or almost anything you can think of when it comes to Mustangs. I have a beautiful 69 Mach 1 that Brent restored from a rusty hulk and a 67 Fastback that is currently in the Mustang Ranch shop. I have been very happy working with Brent and Heidi to get both my cars into show ready condition. Its my opinion that if you go to Mustang Ranch for work on your classic Mustang that you will be very happy with the outcome. You just need to understand that you are starting with an almost 50 year old car. These cars were made without any sort of corrosion inhibiting coatings; the moniker Rustang is well deserved. The car you want restored probably wasnt kept in a climate controlled locker and as such is likely to have rust, dings, dents and all sorts of other problems that were covered up with bubble gum and tape by the previous owner. So what you think may be a fair cost of restoration could change when you strip the paint and start finding out the real character of the car. My 69 Mach 1 looked pretty good when I bought it but once it was media blasted one could see all the decades of abuse that car had gone through. What I thought the car would cost to restore was rather low in comparison to what it actually cost. Brent was always up front about what we might find and how it would impact the cost as work progressed. You just need to understand this before you start, before you promise your wife you wont spend more than X dollars etc.. Brent is always up front about these things, listen to what he tells you.If you are still reading note that when you start a restoration you may be one of those guys like me that keeps finding cool things to add. Oh wow look at those wheels, checkout this awesome manifold, stainless exhaust, aluminum driveline why sure! These things can add up; dont forget to mention to the wife that the bill is going to be higher because you absolutely had to have that new Mustang II front suspension.Bottom line is that if you want to restore your classic Mustang and need some help, talk to Brent.

Read the Low star Reviews. (shoddy work, missing original parts etc.) Ignore the high score ones that may have been posted by family or friends. Granted, our experience was several years ago, but they never did refund all the money that was agreed on when the Division of Consumer Protection got involved.

If you have a valuable Mustang DO NOT USE Brent or the Mustang Ranch! They kept my Boss 429 for 3 years. Tried to sell it out from under me and stole a bunch of my parts for other projects. They also disassembled my 65 Fastback and kept my perfect hood lieing to my face, they told me it was too rusty to use. OK so give it back!! Stole my NOS front bumper from my 1970 BOSS and put a piece of junk from a red 69 they were working on. Yes I noticed. They promised me my 1970 BOSS would be done for the August Mustang Show every year for three years all the while billing us upwards of $70,000. I now have a misaligned body on the BOSS, missing parts from both cars and both are basket cases. BRent and his staff are not qualified to restore anything to concourse level. They also tried to steal my Boss Air Cleaner, It miraculously was found in the trunk after I searched there when I told them it had better show up. They are not an honest shop. I finally gave up on them when I realized they would just bill us forever with no intention of finishing the job. Brent also tried to bill me for 3 years of storage when I picked up my cars.

The boss, Brent, responded as well as I treated him. He was personable. We got along fine. We had a lot of little things we wanted done, but the major thing we wanted was to fix the spots where cancers/rust were developing. This is all we thought we could afford, along with the other odds and ends. During my next visit, after careful consideration, we decided to media blast and paint the whole car. Brents estimate was $8500, on paper, for the whole job. We later added a GT fog light grill, which was on our wish list earlier, with an estimate of $375, plus install. Since the install cost was already rolled into the earlier estimate (we needed grill work), I assumed our new cost was going to be around $9K. Brent sends invoices once a week. When we were approaching the deadline, I asked how soon he would be finished; the following week was the reply. The week before the finish date, got another invoice, which tripped the total to $11K. I started to get concerned because he was over his estimate by 2K. Took all the invoices, added them to a spreadsheet to filter the items and look for hidden overcharges. I discovered 5 parts costs where I was charged twice (approx. $220-they took them off the bill later). Labor charges were far above estimates on 3 items from the first (and only) estimate invoice he gave me. Granted, its impossible to estimate accurately on labor costs, but his real costs for the 3 items were 39% higher than his estimate. You would think that someone in the business, working on the same car, for 20+ years would be better at his estimates. When I got the final invoice, for $3K more, I was floored. I added it to my spreadsheet, and was ready to discuss it with him when we came to pick up the car. My son, who is taking an auto-body class, immediately noticed about 20 areas of incomplete or inadequate work. He marked them, and I discussed with Brent my concerns, along with all the proof. He admitted to me that he would not get the work if he gave accurate estimates. My son also heard the comment, so Brent wouldnt have a leg to stand on in court for this underhanded business practice. Additionally, his work isnt high quality. Weve since discovered areas underneath the paint work, where you can see the body work where sanding is visible...unsat. They installed automatic door locks. I was later going to install new hardware for the window regulators. Their wiring inside the door wasnt routed and secured and was getting rubbed by the window during its travel...again, unsatisfactory. Im certain I will continue to discover several other areas of poor workmanship. Ill most likely be taking him to court, to help prevent him from taking advantage of future customers. To sum it up, if you have money to burn, go with Brent at Mustang Ranch. He will work until you are satisfied, but his estimates are worthless. My expectations were a lot higher than Brents, especially since we are talking about a classic car, so I got tired of trying to deal with him since he didnt seem to think his business practice of bait and switch through underbidding was immoral. He was offended because my implications were that he was dishonest, he didnt seem to think it was wrong. So I paid him what he thought was due, and left, with the satisfaction of knowing I can take him to court, as counseled by a lawyer friend. Brent was satisfied, naturally, because they got their money, I was not.
