So sad that Russ has retired, Ive been going there for many years. he was the best in the business as far as I was concerned many dealers from all around would bring their cars to him.There was only one Russ alignment and now hes closed 😰

This place is great!!! I went in for a 4 wheel alignment on my SUV and was very pleased with their friendly service, honesty, and prices. It turned out my vehicle only needs the front wheels aligned because the rear wheels have a solid axle. So they pointed that out and only charged me the two front wheel alignment price. The SUV drives perfect now. So two thumbs up for Russ, Peggy, and the crew at Russ Alignment. Very happy customer here. Thanks.

Russ and his wife Peggy retired the last day of February 2020. I dont think there was a better place to get take your vehicles for front end work and alignments. They were fair, reasonable and honest and did the work correctly. Russ dad, Val, did work for me before Russ took over and moved to the Redwood Road location. I hope you guys stay healthy and enjoy your retirement. You will be missed by your many loyal clients.

If you need an alignment done this is definitely the place to go. The pricing was reasonable, and the staff was very friendly. Most auto places Ive been to in the past have tried to oversell me on unnecessary stuff, which is very annoying. Not Russ. I had originally asked to get my rear tires aligned as well as the front, but Russ said he checked the rear and they looked fine, so he didnt charge me for it. He did exactly what needed to be done (and did it very well, I might add), and nothing more. The only negative from my experience was that the soonest they could schedule me for a wait-in-shop alignment was two weeks out, but that just goes to show the quality of service they provide because everyone wants to go there. If you dont want to wait that long, there is an option to drop off your vehicle and they will call you when its ready to pick up (Id assume it would take a day or two for it to get done). Overall it was a great experience and I will be a customer for life.

Hands down the best alignment shop in Salt Lake Valley. This is the only place I will take cars. I own an auto repair shop and drive 20 miles each way to have these guys do alignments for us. I promise it is worth the drive. Peggy and Russ are honest and very thorough. This is the place to use for alignments or suspension problems! You won’t be disappointed.

They are super professional, true to their words. I personally saw a different customer leave surprised that her car did not need an alignment while she came in thinking she did. My card needed an alignment but I feel the work done and left with my car feeling more solid and stable. Another thing I liked about them was they are true to the time they book you for. My car was in at the time they said and was taken care of quickly and in the time frame they mentioned. The shop is small and beautiful with their family pictures around which makes your wait time a little easier and fun to know the family behind the business. I was also offered a better price than many other shops out there. The only downside to them is they do just things related to suspension etc. and not other things like brake and other services. I hope they start them too, but am super content with what they served on my car. I was recommended by a friend and I would be sure to recommend them for the services they offer at shop. I hope that I never have to return for a service but if need be they would be the one!

Russ alignment is the only auto mechanic shop I give 5 stars to. They are honest and forthcoming with all aspects of what they do. I have used them since 1986 and have never had a bad experience. They are very busy but always worth the wait. They are very friendly and helpful and never condescending.I have had many special request on various cars and they have always come through. They will allow you to bring your own parts. That is rare these days. They will consult with you on projects. They will always show you what they are going to do, what they have done and the old parts.Several experience that stand out are: Charging very little ($10 in 1992) for welding a broken bracket that was discovered during an alignment. No one sparks a welder for that little. Don worked on aligning my 1965 Mustang after I had modified the upper A-Arm mounting location. When picking up my Bronco after an alignment I felt the return to center was slow. They test drove the car with me and explained why it was acting that way (large tires) and gave me options. They made adjustments and did not charge me any extra.I recommend them for all Suspension and alignment work

Great customer service and communication. Brought my own part, left vehicle before they opened and put the key in the drop box. They had it done by 1:00pm and it drives like a dream! Love this place; they say what they do, and do what they say!

I was just getting ready to call Peggy over at Russs to schedule an alignment when I realized I havent yet written a review, shame on me.This place is the best alignment shop I have ever been to. He is honest, fair and reasonably priced. Service is quick and I have never once needed a follow up. There is a reason we take all of our cars to Russ, because he is the best.

This place is great! They did a 4 wheel alignment on my BMW e90 for $75 which was over $100 less than the dealer. They were friendly and did good work! I highly recommend them. My car’s setup is slightly more complex than stock and they dialed in everything just like I wanted.

I took my Lexus GS in for a a four wheel alignment after buying new tires. I had experienced their great service and care a few months ago when Russ carefully and capably helped me dial in the old school front end on my 65 Impala. My Lexus was no different. They dialed in the front end and the car drives extremely well now. Normally you get a 4 wheel alignment with this car but after checking my rear alignment and finding that it was good, they only charged me for a front end alignment. Honest good people that know their craft.

I have used Russs twice now. Most recently they installed aftermarket coil-overs and lowered my Audi. They reset it when I brought it back as it was a bit low - no problem! Honest, credible, professional, to say the least. They are busy, but worth getting on their schedule. Pricing is fair and reasonable. They really know this craft - vehicle alignment and suspension - well. Great to have a vehicle repair/adjustment facility like this when you need the help. Staffing excellent.

I cannot state how good the service here is. Ive had my car aligned at the dealership two times and once at a shop. All 3 times Ive been told that there was an issue getting it aligned correctly. Took my car to Russ and was able to align it without even mentioning any issues whatsoever. Russ wife Peggy is awesome and had a good time talking with her. Russ really knows what hes doing. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else to get alignment work done. On top of all this, theyre suuuuuper nice and professional. They deserve all the business they get.

Russ retired and these alignment specialists guys took over his business. They want 89.99 to start with and extra 60 for a lowered car. If they can’t get it done within an hour it’s another 50/half hour. I got my daily cars and race cars done at Russ’s before many times and the rate is 65 flat. Not to mention Russ got every alignment done exactly what I need it for. Will not come back.

Russ is great! He always gets cars done and done right. I replaced my entire steering system and took it to him only to find out my lower ball joints needed to be replaced, he checked out my car at no cost then said to bring it back for a proper alignment once I get my ball joints fixed. Most places would have done the alignment and charged me then had me pay for another alignment once my ball joints were replaced. I reccomend Russ to everyone whos looking for an alignment.

I own a 2000 Grand Marquis and I have to say that THIS is the place to go..So what if you have to wait for your appointment for a few weeks! Its worth it..Luckily for me I just rebuilt my whole front end (new control arms top and bottom w/ball joints, shocks, sway bar bushings, sway bar end links, tie rods (inner and outer), pitman arm and idler arm) so Im SURE their job was easier for them. But I WANTED the best and with 4 people referring me to THEM as well as maintaining a 5 star rating they HAVE to be.They are up front and KNOW what theyre talking about. And when it was all said and done they even told me about another part that was BAD and didnt try to sell me any BS about them being able to fix it for a reasonable price.They KNOW that if you LOVED what they did for you then YOU would come back to ask them to fix it.Thats good business! This place is awesome. They are honest and do a very good job. I have taken my cars here for the last 4 years or so and always had a pleasant experience. I highly recommend it. They are usually booked up and takes a bit to get in, so I say make your appointment ahead of time. Believe me is worth the wait.

Russ is the best I know, they can fix pretty much anything. Old, new. Take your problem to 5 shops who cant figure it out and Russ can. Reasonable prices too.

Simply the best!The best alignment I have ever had!Nobody could get the toe right on my car.Brought it to Russes told them the issue. Car drove better then new when I left.The work shows. They are always busy so schedule at least a week in advance!Alot of high end German specialized cars come here such as Audi S series cars as well as BMW Ms as well. All tweaked suspension components. However they do fantastic on any car you bring them.Like I mentioned the workmanship of this shop is outstanding!Will take all my cars to them from now on!

Used this place for years. Recently I have been wanting to get rid of the airbags on my rear suspension called around so many places either they didnt know what to do or wanted to charge a fortune. Spoke to Peggy and Russ about my problem. Russ said he was going to do some research and call me back. Within hour Russ called me and told me what we need to do to get rid of airbags. They addressed my concern scheduled me in and within hours it was finished. Very satisfied. These people are the best in town!

What a place! Crazy honest. Crazy reasonable on price. This place is so damn popular that it books appointments out 2-3 weeks in advance!There just arent shops like this anymore.

They did an amazing job on my alignment. They got it done in about 45 minutes and were very very inexpensive. 12/10 would recommend, I will be going there again for all of my alignments!

I took my car in for an alignment after buying it used and then hitting a couple of potholes (oops). It took less than an hour, with an appointment, and I could actually feel the difference! My car was no longer pulling to one side more than the other. Great service, nice people!

A+ top notch place! This is the only place to get an alignment in town. Just be aware that you have to make an appointment. Thats how good this place is. I cant say enough good things about this place.

Awesome place with excellent service and pricing.I originally sent my BMW in for alignment at shop at Saratoga Springs. They said they couldnt adjust the toe and messed my alignment up with the steering wheel pulling 30 degrees to the left just to drive straight.I looked elsewhere and was referred to Russs Alignment. They are busy so the wait is at least a month out, but they do an excellent job and the price is unbeatable. The service is very quick and the people are friendly. Russ was able to correct my toe, unlike the previous shop that lied to me. The only downside is the small parking lot can be difficult to find parking because they are so busy.I highly recommend.

Only place that could and would fix the alignment on our car. Super kind and cared about the customer. They did it in about 1/2 what the other shop estimated. Even called to make sure a $2.75 bolt was ok to add on. Such a great experience.

Does a great job keeping our free to use trucks suspension in tip top shape.

Iv had multiple vehicles worked on here all with great results. Many cars ago I had a hub bearing that had to be replaced 3 times and each time it was free under warranty. Later russ found the real culprit that was from a previous owner wrecking it and had everything running perfect for what the vehicle was. I have very much respect for mechanics that treat all vehicles the same and handle the situation professionally. The same as if i was driving a brand new vehicle. Couldnt ask for much more than that.

This place is awesome! Best experience Ive ever had with a mechanic. I usually like to do my own work, but I cant do everything and my jeep needed an alignment pretty bad. They did a great job at a great price and fast. Also, without even asking, they explained to me what was causing the problem and how to adjust it if started pulling again. They know what theyre talking about. Being a 94, theres also no doubt that there are parts on the jeep that other shops would say needed to be changed immediately for fear of it falling apart while Im driving or something, but nothing was even mentioned. Last thing, you have to book about a week in advance because they seem to be pretty busy. I hope that everyone else has as good of an experience as I had.

These guys are awesome! If something is wrong when they try to do an alignment they will let you know, and let you know the price. They are very honest!

I have been going to Russ and/or his dad for over 25 years. He is the most honest and capable shop in Salt Lake. There has been times over the years when Russ has checked my alignment and told me its fine, then told me no charge because he didnt need to change the alignment. You can trust these guys will do a great job. Plan ahead because everyone loves these guys and they usually are booking into the next week. With that said, if your in a bind they will fit you if they can.

Russs is far and above the best place to take your vehicle. We have done business here for decades between my dad and I. You will not find a more honest, competent, fair shop anywhere! Peggy and Russ are are a class act.

I would give Russs Alignment a billion stars if I could. The franchise tire stores dont know how or refuse to deviate from stock alignment specifications, which dont always work on lifted trucks. Russ knew exactly what to do and my truck finally drives normal on the freeway again. They are usually booked out several weeks in advance but theyre well worth the wait. Thanks so much!

Yet another case of a local chain mechanic shop saying they couldnt get my alignment within factory specs (Subaru Impreza), but Russ was able to do it no problem. Not worth the time or money to go somewhere else (especially since youll probably save money going to Russ). Also quick to get my car in and easy to work with.

I had some unusual creaking in my right front area and these guys took my car on a test drive. Tightened a loose nut. Brought me out to see some other concerning things. Talked to me about how I could make my car handle even better and charged me NOTHING : ) I gave a tip of course for their educated information and the use of their tools and professional advise. A really great shop! Thanks to Russ and Don for taking on a particularly difficult steering box replacement on my old muscle car. After seeing what they had to do, Im really glad that I decided not to try it myself (not to mention that I dont have the alignment equipment!). Their service charge was more than fair - Im not sure that they made any money on the job. They have enough business that its wise to make an appointment but its worth the short wait. I wish they did general mechanics work too! I strongly recommend them!

They need more schooling to do there job right 200 $ for alignment To basically adjust the factory parts and some aftermarket parts But not the have the know how to adjust them in unison to provide a proper alignment is not worth the price plus 1 broken part from a mistake cost me $1200 not worh the time

This is the first time I havent had a bad experience with a shop taking care of my car, they did everything expected of them and more. The only place I will recommend to anyone for what they do.

Went in today for the first time. Did the alignment very fast and charged me less than what they had told me on the phone because they only had to change the toe in. Waiting area is not that great but I would rather pay for the work than a TV to watch. I will be going back for future alignment work.

Greatttttt customer service and quality work. All of the staff I have encountered were super friendly and polite, pretty rare in auto repair shops these days. Their 4-wheel alignment is the least expensive (I have called all the top rated shops in Salt Lake).After I got my 4 wheel alignment, it still steered to the left. I scheduled another appointment to have them check it, they found that my low quality tires are pulling it to the side. They took the courtesy to swap them for me just to double check that was the cause. They were right, my car steers to the right afterwards. They did not charge me a dime for the check up. I am sold, customer for life!FYI: They are booked by appointment only, but it is never too long of a wait. Even if it is, it is worth the wait.

Fantastic shop, got the Dana 44 on the front of my 78 Scout II spot on. I took it to a few other places before, and each time left with a toe out problem. I did an ok job getting it aligned myself, but they got it to spec.

I brought in my 2007 chevy silverado for an alignment because the truck pulled to one side. The mechanic said the alignment was fine, he cross rotated the front tires which solved the problem. I was not charged a penny! These guys are honest and competent..hard to find these days!

The absolute best in suspension work.

Would highly recommend. Came to Russ for a second opinion after being told by another mechanic that we needed new ball joints and possibly a new tirod end in order to do an aligment (quoted $99). We were quoted $1,000 and it of course freaked us out! When we brought it to Russ he did a free inspection and assured us there wasnt an issue with the ball joints and he was able to loosen the tirod end without a problem. He did the aligment for $55. Its clear that he has no intention of squeezing money out of people who arent versed in cars. Honest business that does good work. Will definitely come back here in the future. Thanks again!

Was referred to Russs by a friend at Schneider Auto Karosserie after receiving a high, high bid to get my car back on the road following a failed safety inspection at another auto and tire shop and my oh my! thank GOD for second opinions. Russs was honest - told me what needed to be done immediately versus what could be done at later stages to get my steering/suspension back together. Saved me about $1,900 with that consultation. Did great work repairing the rear hubs, recommended GRS Drivelines & Differentials for work beyond their expertise, and got me back on the road. I passed safety inspection the next day and was able to get my vehicle registered - allowing me to get to work and about town much much much much more conveniently. THANK YOU!!
