I bought gas here and needed help to fill my tires. They did it for free and didnt even offer a tip when I offered. I asked how my tires were, and they told me I needed new ones. I confirmed it with info from google. I bought replacements from them a couple weeks later. I really like the tread on the tires and Im super happy with my service from them overall. I was thrilled to support this local business thats been in the area for years.

John and the rest of his team are so kind and thorough with their business. They are always upfront with what they see needs work on my car and allow me to make my decisions on what/how to fix it. Whenever I have questions they are thorough and patient with their explanations. They are simply the best!!!

These guys are great. I needed an oil change on my ‘97 Toyota 4Runner and stopped in to see if they could do it. They did the oil change in under an hour and the price was totally reasonable. Professional, knowledgeable mechanics.

My car was having a hard time starting and though nothing seemed to be wrong with it, John spent hours looking and working on it to see what the problem could be. Once I picked it up, my car felt just perfect! I highly recommend taking your vehicles here. They are very honest and super friendly. I appreciate their service very much.

We own and have owned more cars than I care to admit, and Horner’s has helped us with most of them. They are a top-quality, no-nonsense place that gets the job done correctly and on time. I always feel like I’m getting a fair price and that I can count on the work they do.

Super friendly, fair, and professional neighborhood shop. After the dealer diagnosed our Subaru w/ fatal engine problems we came to Horner for a second opinion. An oil change and screening showing no metal particles later were running smooth again w/ a clean bill of health.

Ive been using Horners for 7 years & 3 different vehicles (1 German & 2 Korean). I havent experienced a problem with any of their repair work. Theyve been honest & upfront on the cost of any big repairs & how long it will take them. Horners will tell you upfront if there is a repair they cannot do & refer you to the person they know that can do it. Ive tried to get my family to use them instead of going back to their dealerships but they rather pay more money for the same work.

I have been to Horners for multiple services on my subaru. They helped me replace my brake rotors and pads within my budget by working to help me find used parts that i could afford. They even showed me what to look for in a good and bad rotor! They almost always get me in the day i request for a quick service, like oil changes. Most importantly they are an honest business that charges fair prices. I called to get a title inspection for a trailer, and multiple shops quoted me a price (which is illegal to charge for) Hortons was the only one that told me to swing by anytime, got it done in under 5 minutes and never tried to wrongly charge me. Thats service i can appreciate.

Local Subaru dealership told me I needed a new transmission for $7600 and I took my car here to get looked at. They flushed the transmission and put new fluid in. It worked perfectly. They charged me for labor and the fluids the car needed. Amazing service!!! Saved me a bunch of money.

Amazing dependable service. If you want to get serviced on the same day however you do need to show up at exactly 7 AM when they open. when they couldnt get my catalytic converter to pass on emissions they use this special fluid and they only charged me for one bottle when we actually had to use 4. Even when they had to replace my cat, it as only a few percent above wholesale so it as ptetty damn good if you ask me. They replaced so much in on car and out it only came out to about two thousand dollars. They are amazing.Say hi to their shop dog for me . She its Super cute.

Surprised at some of these negative reviews, especially from shade harvey. I usually fix my own car because most things are pretty doable with a good wrench set, but one time I got far too ambitious and couldnt get my car to run after a 14 hour project. I had it towed here, and they fixed it up in a day or two for a very reasonable price. Considering that I work on my car to save money, what I was charged for the work to get everything set right felt quite fair. I dont do any strut/steering/structure work, so Ill be taking my car back in to them to get control arms put in. Good shop, one I recommend. It also seems unbelievable that theyd leave a car alone for over 3 weeks, considering they had mine fixed in less than 2 days.

I took my car to this excessively dirty gas station around 8 am, because I needed some air in my tires. I asked the dirty mechanic, and not all of them are as dirty, if he could put some air in my front tires. He was nice enough to check the air in one tire, but he told me his boss didnt really allow him to do such a thing and if he did . . he would have to charge me $3 to check the air in the other tire. I did not have my purse with me as I had just dropped off my child at a nearby school and had left it at home. When I asked him if he could just do it as a gentleman and as a courtesy, he told me his boss wouldnt like it and he/the boss wouldnt want him to do it. Cmon! What crap! A little courtesy to a lady isnt that hard to give and I found out later, he WAS THE BOSS! When a man cannot help a lady under such circumstances and then offers up such a lame excuse . . . it just makes you wonder . . . what else this man will do to make a buck. I bet they overcharge for everything they do. Please, consider my experience and my suggestion to take your business to another shop, where they value customer service and where they wont lie to you.

If I could rate zero stars, trust me, I would.Wow, what a miserable experience I had with every person who worked at this place. If you have any self respect, take your car any other place. Really, anywhere, because I promise they will give you better service than at Horners chevron.I first went in to get a quote for a broken timing chain, they gave a reasonable quote and I went on my way, deciding to bring in my car, which was unable to run, I might add, so the car needed to be towed up there. I brought my car in on a Thursday, being told that if I brought it in early that morning, they would call me today or tomorrow with a sure diagnosis. What a funny joke that was.For the next three and a half weeks I would be calling these guys just to see if they had even LOOKED at it. Nope. Every time I called them, I would get the same response: some lazy excuse and the reassurance that they would get to it today or tomorrow. After doing this dance for way too long, finally, one day I was told that they would get my car in the garage that day to reassure me that it was indeed the timing chain. Finding that it was, they told me that they would start on it the next morning. To my surprise, this time they actually did what they said they would! How about that. I was informed a few hours after they opened that the repairs were done and that my car was ready for pickup...It took them just short of a month to feel like taking a look at it, and when they did, the entire process of getting it inspected and repaired took a few hours. Wow, I am seriously very surprised that these guys can sustain any sort of business period. On top of all that, I had to pay more than the quote that the, who I presume to be the owner, told me he would honor. I guess someones word is really just an estimate here too. Also, my car now shakes pretty noticeably while its idling, something it never did before. These guys just dont know how to run a respectable business. Maybe they treat other customers better, but then why did I get such a crap job done? You cant pick and choose who to serve with quality when you feel like it. Do yourself a favor, and leave these guys tucked away.

One of the most important things to keep in mind when running a business is customer service. Horners Chevron does not have that quality to offer in any way. I brought my car in a couple months ago on a recommendation that they were close by and easy to work with. The former is the true but the latter?...Only if maybe you are a male because on every occasion that I went into the office, I was greeted with disrespect and terrible service. I brought my car in with some tire problems requiring new struts, an issue that I know was occurring and would require repair. A co-worker of mine (male) came with me to give me a ride back to work after dropping off my car for the repairs needed. As he was sitting in the office while I drove up, the mechanic at the front desk (who I later found out was the manager) loudly exclaimed, oh good, a woman...now we can actually make some money today. I was greeted with a condescending and rude attitude from the mechanic but as I needed to repairs done sooner and later, I let it slide. When I asked the mechanic a simple question on timing, he replied with well little lady. and proceeded to talk down to me. Recently, I went to Midas on 2100 S. to get a standard oil change and tire rotation where I was informed that my newly repaired tires and struts were stripped and tightened so much that they would have to be broken over and new ones would need to be put on before being able to remove the tire. Obviously, this is a safety hazard as in case of a flat tire, I would not be able to remove my tire. I called Horners to see if they would be able to remedy such. I was told I would need to come in, which I did immediately. When I walked into the office (only customer there), I stood for over three minutes while the mechanic sitting behind desk threw french fries at another mechanic and completely ignored me until I asked if I could get help. I explained that I had just called and before I could finish my sentence, a piece of parer was shoved towards me and I was told to fill out my problem. I did and then I asked if this would require extra payment and if so how much and I was rudely cut off with another classic, Well little lady, you wont know until I look at it. When asked how long the inspection would take, we will call you. Understanding that it is important to inspect what the problem is, there is no excuse for terrible customer service I have received both times at this shop. I am a proponent of small businesses but both times, Ive been in Horners Chevron, I have been rudely treated upon walking through the door. Too bad for Horners Chervon, as now it looks like they will be losing my companys business with servicing our fleet (all of our companys vehicles) A fleet, which is run by me, a woman. Sorry Horners, this little lady is going to Midas.
