These guys were awesome. They educated me on tires and got me hooked up with tires to meet my needs. They were very communicative of what to expect, and they were quick, even though very busy. I also loved that they offer wifi. I was able to work while waiting. Maybe the best tire experience ever. This wasnt the first place I thought to go but came here after 3 different people told me this was the place to come. Glad I did.

Dont plan on showing up early and leaving early. If anything, save some extra time. They did a good job though, and left my vehicle in the condition it was in.

One word. Dont! Always late. Youll wait 2 hours for a tire rotation (even with a reservation) , and the staff has zero sympathy. Ive learned my lesson the hard way. Days in hours worth of wasted time. I wish I could find a location that is any different, but the way this business is run, all of the locations suffer from this problem unfortunately.

I stopped by to get free air in my tires because of the cold weather and personally got out of my car and examined my tires and checked the air pressure myself on a couple of them. Neither myself nor the employee noticed anything weird about my tires. I drove the 1.1 miles back to my house and later in the day saw there was a bolt in my tire!!When I came back to get my tires swapped out I personally observed several pieces of scrap metal including a chunk of a bolt and a tire needle in their parking lot!! When I told the employee he told me they clean their lot so I walked outside with him and pointed out the bolts scattered around and he picked up at least three metal chunks that I pointed out in less than a minute!! When I complained to another employee he told me it was an unfortunate coincidence. The manager said they just got the lot resurfaced last weekend but that doesnt mean they dont need to sweep!When Ive driven 150k miles in the past several years without incidence but get a sidewall bolt in 1.1 miles its simple math. Never coming back.

Staff was wonderful to me and treated me like I was a valued customer even though it was a relatively simple request. I needed to get my tire checked because my TPMS was telling me my pressure was low. Come to find out I had a big screw that punctured my tire. Without an appointment, Michael was able to squeeze me in and the employees in the bay worked as hard as they could to get me in and out painlessly. I really appreciated that they took extra time to make sure I was safe to head back out on the road again. With 2 little ones in tow, I’m grateful that they saw the importance in a punctured tire and the safety issue that it presented. Thank you to Michael, James and Skyler for your stellar service! I do apologize if my tire issue had you staying beyond your scheduled hours, as your time is valuable too, but I couldn’t go without saying thanks again for a great experience. Disappointing service. 4 trips for a single flat.1st trip. To busy to look at at a slow leak.2nd trip. With an appointment took an hour to diagnose a small nail on the shoulder. Another appointment required as Discount tire exclusive tire was not in stock.3rd trip. Tire replaced but dash tpms light was still on it. Was assured light would go off in 15mins. It never.4th trip. New tpms sensor was required in the newly installed tire. Another $65.Hopefully will be the last trip.

I went in driving on my spare tire and was in and out in less than an hour. My tires was under warranty so all I paid for was a warranty for the new tire they put on. They know what they are doing, honest, and fair. I appreciate the customer service...

Hands down best tire shops in America. Bradley the assistant manager helped out big time. I’ve been with discount times for 4-5 years and they always helped me out and never let me down. Their warranty policy is so worth it. I had an incident on the way to yellow stone which forced me to buy a tire just to get to yellow stone and back to Utah. Call in discount tire and had them order me a tire next day. The day I was back in Utah they had the tire and ready to swap out. Don’t look anywhere else. Discount Tires is the name of the game.

Had a great experience here. They take COVID concerns very seriously. All employees where masks and they ask customers to drive your car in and out. They didnt even need my keys! They put on full new tires and wheels I bought online no issues and confirmed a few tire questions as they were putting them on. Hopefully I dont have to come back any time soon but when I need run into a tire issue Ill be calling them first!

I can’t say enough good things about these guys and girls. I had a flat tire, and decided to order some wheels since all my tires were pretty much done for anyways and I would have to get new tires. The wheels took about two weeks to get to me (I did not get them with discount tire, I got them somewhere online). During that time this store kept my car there the entire two weeks! They even moved my car in and out of the shop everyday to make sure it was safe at night. They ordered the exact tire that I wanted (because I’m picky lol) and mounted and balanced them to the wheels I got. They gave me a lot of great information and were a pleasure to work with. I was very stressed about leaving my car with them for so long, but they took great care of it and never got upset about how long it was there for and about how difficult my situation was. So thank you so much discount tire you are awesome. I also want to thank one of the employees named Ben. He was so nice and so helpful, he really understood the whole situation and was very inviting. I never felt uncomfortable and everything went very smoothly. I will get all my tires here from now on (and I burn through tires often) summer and winter. Thank you so much!

Didnt cost me a dime. The service was very quick and they put the spare tire back in my trunk for me.I 100% recommend!

Discount tire is not cheap on price. They are customer service oriented. 10 year customer and as happy with them as day one.

Excellent service and friendly staff! We were passing through on a trip and blew out a trailer tire on the highway. While limping into town, we realized that our truck tire also had a flat. We ended up replacing all four truck tires and two trailer tires, putting us back on the road seamlessly. They were able to accommodate our 56 truck and trailer no problem. Overall excellent experience and would recommend this location 100%.

Bait and switch geniuses. I called about a replacement rim. I gave the make and model of the car. I needed a generic rim to replace a bent one. When I got there the cost shot up 50.00 because they said I needed new lug nuts. They never looked at what I had. They had no idea if my lug nuts would fit this rim. I will never come back. Less Schwab all the way from here on.

Very disappointed. We were sent here by our mechanic when we wanted to get studded snow tires. We specifically asked at Discount Tire to get tires that we could get studded, as I work in the mountains and have to drive the icy canyon roads every day. My commute to work is considered one of the most dangerous roads in the USA and people often slide off the road down into the ravine due to ice. We were sold a new set of studable tires for $751.86, but no one ever told us we had to get them studded before driving on them, a key piece of information. The following month we called to get them studded (which costs $60 total) and we were told that we can only get them studded if we had not driven on them. Being that we made our intentions to get them studded on the first day, we feel that we should have been told that information upon purchasing that we needed to get them studded before driving on them. If they had offered to stud them for $60 at the time we would have happily done so. We talked to the manager, Samuel, and he told us to come in and that he would take care of us. However, when we arrived he wanted to charge us $80 extra in labor to switch out the tires, even though it was the error of the company for not giving us this information the first time. I begged him to wave the labor cost to switch the tires since it was the company’s error and begged him to ask permission of his superior to wave this labor cost. Instead he engaged in a pissing match with me in the lobby in front of other customers and his own employees. He insisted that I “don’t need them studded anyway” which is not his decision. He was so condescending and said that “I don’t understand” as if I’m an idiot. I understood perfectly, I simply do not agree with his brand of customer service. If it is the company error they should be willing to throw a bone to a customer who has already spent $751.86. Shame on you Samuel, for putting your pride in front of the safety and security of members of your own community. If this is the best person this location has for customer service, in my opinion the personality of Samuel is not suited to be the manager or in charge of anything customer related.

I purchased 4 new tires from Discount Tire along with the additional coverage certificates for each tire. After a few weeks, one of the new tires needed to be replaced. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to get the new tire replaced on my car with the coverage certificate. Unfortunately, the associate that was placing the new tire on my car, jacked the car up too high on the one side and popped the right side lower control arm and bushing on the opposite side. It was a very expensive fix. Overall the location usually does an great job, just had the one associate that damaged my car badly and then caused me to not have a car for over a week while it was being fixed.

Everything was fine except they broke a valve stem/tire pressure sensor. They replaced the sensor at no charge. Well the sensor didnt work and also made all the other three sensors not work. So I went back and told them about this and next thing I know they were going to charge me to replace the sensor they put in! That is poor, poor service. Im very frustrated, and I dont think Ill ever go back.

I have been a loyal Discount Tire customer since they OPENED in Utah. Do NOT use this location!!!! They are rude and condescending! I have visited this location several times. ( It is convenient when at work) On 3 occasions over time, when I have gone there to ask for a simple air check, each time the workers have been strangely rude. On my last visit after being vetted for worthiness for the free air check prior to doing it for me, I asked when he told me if he was done if the stem caps were all on. ( They had left one off on another visit, no big deal, but made it worth my remembering to ask each time) His response was; “I know how to do my job” SERIOUSLY, if you offer free air checks as part of your customer service and marketing, am I wrong for using it a couple of times every year? Their service left me flat!

The gentleman who helped me took one look at me and decided for me that I’d only be interested in the cheapest tires they had available. When I asked for more options, I got one other option. When I’m making a purchase this large I’d hope to get more information.When they finished working on my car all I got was “we’re done. Bye.” And they left goo all over my tires.So, overall, not bad service. Just not really service.

While it may seem strange, I have over the past 30+ years actually looked for reasons to not buy from Discount Tire. I still go there because they have all the best brands, provide great service, in and out times, no appointment, cant be beat! Its been a long string of BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz cars, lots of Land Cruisers , large and small trucks, even some trailers. Always the same great service! Im still a fan and I still havent found a reason to stop going there.

Employee was a crook. Told me the tread was worn out and edges were worn to where he could Not rotate my tires. Went into a speech about tires as if I was 5 years old and knew nothing. I told him I didnt appreciate being spoken too that way and went to another shop who walked me through the tire process and told me my tires were just fine! Dont enjoy trying to be taken for $800.00 bucks when it wasnt necessary....

Very poor service, have had multiple bad experience but this one tops it. I went in to change over my tires onto different rims, and they did so and recycled the tires. I did not give them permission to throw anything else away. A couple weeks later I noticed ALL FOUR rims had the TPMS sensor BROKEN off purposefully. All four rims have damage to each valve, beyond repair. I held an undamaged valve next to the pictures to show comparison. Upon calling them I had to insist several times that I did not authorize this and that I would like the 80$ EACH sensors back. They were very hesitant to give me any sort of feedback, I am very disappointed for service. I will see one Monday if they will actually give me replacement valves and sensors.

But you have to go to the one on 2269 S & State St. 1st- I didnt know that they fix flats for free 🤔 seriously truly free (you dont have to buy new tires to get your flat fixed). 2nd- they do price matching, even from the internet! 3rd- the best customer service from any employee that I worked with (including the managers). I was traveling cross county with a large trailer. The trailer had a blown tire and I was in a bit of a pickle. The gentleman that sold me the tire recognized this. He personally changed the tire and rotated my spare to another tire that was showing wear so I would not be changing a tire along the road. He had me back on the road. This happened about two months ago, I am just writing the review.

Aside from wasting my time by making an appointment where they told me they would have the tire and then ended up not having the tire, their staff is rude and unhelpful

The tires are fine. They forgot to return the security lug socket though. For those of you who don’t know, security lug nuts are nice if you want to feel safer about your tires being stolen because you can’t get them off without the key. So now, today when I needed to get my tires off to swap the break pads and the key is gone, I can’t get my tires off. Luckily I can choose between damaging my rotors or walking a few miles to the auto store and buy a new key for $30. I’m glad I didn’t realize it hadn’t been returned out in the middle of nowhere with a blown out tire. Thanks discount tire!

Had great previous experiences with discount tire, but today has been the complete opposite.Found a small screw in my wheel and called in to see how long it would take to fix. Was told that they could have me in and out within an hour. I’ve been waiting over an hour and my vehicle isn’t even in a bay yet. No communication as to how much longer it’ll be, terrible customer service. I feel like I was lied to an am very unlikely to purchase tires from here again.

Had 2 bald Tires replaced, came with a tire rotation and all for a decent price. They had great Covid precautions set in place. no complaints. Great service

I arrived before opening and an associate inside was taking down plates to address customers in the order they arrived. I worked with Michael - he was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and satisfied with my experience. I have been to many discount tires in the past and will come back to this location again because the associates took great care of me and made sure I was completely satisfied before sending me on my way.

The tires were a great price and the man at the counter was great. But as they were putting on one of the tires they broke a one of the lug nuts. As I watched this happen I assumed they would fix it. Then a gentleman came in and blamed it on who ever touched the tire before him and handed me the broken one and basically said sorry and there’s nothing they can do about it.

While visiting from out of state, we encountered a flat tire on our rental car. We are so very thankful we took it to the guys at Discount Tire! We can’t say enough good things about A.J, Ben, Michael and Regan that helped us with the whole process. Their professionalism, genuine concern and impeccable customer service is rare these days and was very much appreciated!

In and out in less than an hour, didn’t feel pressured into anything I didn’t want or need!

Paid an absolute @&$?load for 4 tires and a 60,000 mile warranty. In under 1k miles one blew from a minor bump in the road, they refused to replace it and claimed I bought the wrong kind of warranty, ended up offering to retroactively give me the right one and told me I was completely covered no matter what with that warranty.Less than 10k miles later they need replacing and they won’t honor the warranty because they claim I didn’t have them rotated enough. They recommend a rotation every 6-8000 miles and I’ve had them rotated 3 times in 10k miles.Absolute cucks.

I brought my truck in for a tire balance and rotation. They rotated the tires, but I could tell once I started driving that they werent balanced. I took it to another shop and they confirmed the tires were not balanced. I wouldnt have been that upset except for the fact that I waited 2-1/2 hours for nothing. Ive had a couple other bad experiences at this location and this was the last straw for me. Ill be going somewhere else from here on out.

I got all my tire work done here. I sent my girlfriend to discount for a nail in the tread with them telling her they couldnt fix it because there was a scratch on the side and she had to get a new tire. That was a lie there was no air coming out. Costco fixed it. I swear every auto place wants to take advantage of women.

I showed up 30 minutes before this location closed and they were more than willing to help me out. Micheal the assistant manager was very friendly and got me set up with what I needed. Thank you guys for being awesome and I’m sorry for showing up late.

Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL, Bad ServiceI possibly had an airhole in the front RIGHT tyre of my car. When I went here (02/04/20) to get it patched up, they said they would check on the faulty tyre and also the other ones just to make sure everything looks okay. But they ended up changing the wrong tyre (Front LEFT) without prior informing me and not even touching the faulty one. I was wise enough to check the tyre before leaving the store. Upon asking they said the other one (Front LEFT) had problem too and they had to change it. So I ended up buying two tyres when I had problem with one. Honestly, I dont even think there was anything wrong with my front left tyre now. As a student, I just think I got robbed.

I really cant say enough complimentary things about Discount Tire vs some of the other chains. They do quick, quality work. The prices are always lower than expected. Employees are friendly and take time to explain things. When you are having a bad day, they can usually brighten it a bit. The location is convenient on State Street. Egress is fine if you want to head north, much more complicated if you want to go south.

Ive purchased tires for decades from Discount Tire. Always great value, but after sale services is why I keep purchasing tires here. They always treat me right.

How to blowout on a tire knew I would have to replace at least two as I lost a sidewall. Not only did they replace the tire that I blew out it was under warranty so I got it free ended up paying for just one tire and got to complete retire rotation at the same time for no additional charge

Paid $750 for two new tires and a rim. Upon getting them installed, the mechanic broke one of my wheel studs. Then proceeds to tell me they can’t fix the stud, and they won’t pay for it. So after I get my tires installed I have to drive strait to big O tires to get the stud replaced, that I didn’t break, on my own dime. Definitely will not be back

Took my trailer in and less than an hour I was out of there. Very nice staff.
