This is the $99 service that I purchased for $49 on Groupon. Granted the car was dirty and needed a good cleaning. First, they eliminated the hand wax due to lack of clear coat. I accepted it if they clean and shine the rest of the car. I got the car back with chips crumbs still in the seat crevices. Dirt on top off ashtray door, they never bothered to close it and vacuum the top. Basically dirt everywhere. Just see the pictures after they got the car back. This was supposed to be an hour & half service.

Ok, for everyone wondering this place no longer does hand washing, they send you through a machine. This fact isnt explicitly stated anywhere I could find.I paid for the medium tier at $17 and honestly I could have gone to a gas station car wash for the same quality. There is still a layer of grime from the ash and dirt and the machine definitely didnt get under my roof rack.

For the price they charging for a drive thru wash, the work should be MUCH better. Been a few times, and was only happy with the work the 1st time. Been pretty disappointing since. Charged me extra for having a truck, and didnt even finish the job. Thats a lot of dirt to miss in the carpet.

Mediocre service and takes a long time. I paid for a whole works car wash, inside detail, vacuum, appolstery and carpet steam clean, and a car wax. I called ahead to make sure they had time to do this and they told me they could have it done in an hour or two. When I checked in they told me about an hour and a half. I went to the counter to pay and again I asked how long and was told probably about two hours. After about 3 hours I asked how much longer it would be, and was told another hour. After another hour and a half my car was finally ready. ALMOST 5 HOURS!!!!The wax looks decent, not amazing. My inside was wet from steam cleaning but now that it is dry I can still smack dust out of the seats. My dash and console were wiped down with some light oil or conditioner so it looks clean but the cracks and crevices still have gunk and dirt.It’s not the worst job, but it’s not the best. I can go anywhere else and get the same job.

I took my husbands truck there, its expensive. They washed & waxed it. When I left, the drivers mirror still had the same spots on it. They didnt do a good job on the inside either. I would not recommend my peps to go there. I will not return. You also have to make appt. Ugh. Just Saying

I was at Harvs Car Wash this past Monday and I can say Im better off going to Magic Car Wash or Jet Spray; both have done amazing job on my car. My car was not even clean and it had smudges outside still. Even the drive through car wash at Kellys Car Wash done a better job. For $37.99 it wasnt worth it. They didnt even clean my mats like the other locations Ive been to.

The attention to detail is lacking, especially for the cost!The vehicle returned to me with light scratch marks on the rear bumper, and when I mentioned them to the attendant, he attempted to lightly wipe them off with a rag in his hand, to no avail. The car was fairly clean, but still had obvious bugs on the front grill.Not my reccomend car wash in the Sacramento area.

They do great job. Always do a good job. Delbert is the nicest person to write the job up. He is always smiling and happy to see people. He is very professional in his dealings with the public. I cannot say enough good things about him.

Car wash is great but only problem is its really hard to turn into the lane. Inexperienced drive will struggle to enter.

Got the fancy detail service for $280. They left bugs on the grill, license plate, and mirrors, smudges on the rims (that do come off when you actually scrub them), didnt buff the drips off the plastic bits from the conditioner (handles, mirrors, bumper cover, etc), leaves just under the hood near the wipers... The body itself looks pretty good, only found a few things so far that come right off that they missed. Still makes me wonder why I paid money for experts to do what I can do better. Only thing Im satisfied with is the cleaning of the inside (carpets, seats, leather conditioner, plastic conditioner).

I don’t know why I keep going back - never a pleasant experience. They either forget to announce that your vehicle is complete or forget tire shine... be prepared to sit for an hour on the weekend. Overall work is good but I expect better for the price.

This place cost me 40 bucks for a car wash , I give the guy a 5 dollar tip, I stop at rite aid and when I come back my sunroof visor has been ripped off my car and stashed in my back hatch area. They never even said a word, so I go meet with the manager and he says sorry not sorry. I call the owner and leave a very detailed message and he never calls me back, they suck!

This place has really changed recently -- for the better. Very clean bathrooms, great waiting area, and the whole place smells pleasant. I was able to eat my brown bag lunch in style while my car got washed. Nice people. Great car wash. Reasonable price. Easy in and out. Highly recommend.

I come here infrequently but always seem to get a good wash from them. I got the works this morning and car came back clean. You can sit on in the front waiting area outside and watch them go over your car. This morning they had about six people cleaning the inside of my car, wiping down excess water from the wash, cleaning the wheels, etc. My rims always have a bit of grime that shows up after you drive away but car looked great otherwise.

I have a really busy schedule and decided to pay the 79.99 for the car wash and detail on my car. I left it there and tookUber home. When I returned to pick up my car I was very disappointed with the service. Not only did they not do a good job by leaving trash, not vacuuming, they also scratched the paint job on my car. If that was not enough, when I let the manager Sam know, he responded rudely by saying oh well. Sam needs to learn better customer service. I honestly do notknow how this place stays in business. I will NEVER bring my car here again.

I used to tell folks to go to Harv’s for an excellent car wash and service, but no longer!My friend purchased a Groupon special for detailing two cars and gifted me one...When I arrived at Harv’s they immediately “up-sell” me to invest in. “Clay” application for $70...When I went to pickup my car a couple of hours later, I discovered they did not clean my mats nor did the vacuum the interior of my car!Additionally, the wheels still had dirt still very visible on them and they did not wipe down the door jambs....Needless to say, what a great disappointment in the once best car wash in town...I did not have time to lodge my complaints due to previously scheduled appointments, I had to go...the associate attending the desk didn’t seem much invested in my concerns anyways...My advice, go somewhere else, somewhere with better customer service and follow through...

I chose this place because of a groupon special. They also have great reviews and Sacramentos Best awards. When I got there, I was offered a better clay wax for $70. I was going to pass and then he dropped the price to $50, so I felt it was a good enough deal as I wanted an extra clean car, with a good wax.Heres my experience:I have to say Im a little disappointed. The rims were still dirty and some small spots were missed on the dash. Vacuum servive was good, mats werent put back in correctly but at least that means they vacuumed under them. Then the clay wax, well it was shinier than before and looks pretty good, I think it needs more buffing. I will have to wait a few days to see how the shine lasts and through a rainy day.

I like the quickness they get you in and out. Do a great job inside and out. I like shopping in the little store they have, neat cards for all occassions. Convenient location, price is fair. Have waxing available. Restroom is usually clean, not really handicap accessible.

Even the regular wash job is done well, but if you have the time (or drop off), the high end clay smoothing wax or new polymer finish are well worth a little extra money. If you want the extra work done, its best to make an appointment. The polymer application can only be done by a couple of their trained staff.

Ive been to Harvs before and it was a good experience which is why I purchased the Groupon for an exterior/interior detail. The work was done very well. My issue was the wait. I was told it would take 1.5 - 2 hrs. At 2.5 hrs I walked around to find my car parked and not being worked on. At 3 hrs I asked what the progress on my car was. I waited another 15 minutes as the man that was checking on its progress walked passed me several times, but never told me how my car was doing. After almost 3.5 hrs I received my car keys. Again, the work was really good, but the wait coupled with lack of letting me know that my car was finished was annoying.

Ive only been here once for a groupon deal but they did a great job. Will definitely be going here more often

I would love to give this place a better rating. For the most part customer service is good but if I pay 30+ for a car wash I dont want to have wait 30 minutes for a half done job...

These guys do a fantastic job! Ive had 2 cars detailed here, and a couple wash/waxes, and Ive been thrilled with the results every time. The shops and restaurants along L St are a great place to walk around while you wait.Theyve got a bit of personality and the prices arent cheap, but Harvs is worth it.

Sad to see many negative reviews as this is a good place in my opinion. Ive gone here dozens of times. The location is convenient. The staff is friendly, The gift shop has some really cool things.As for the quality of work: its good, not perfect, but good. They do try to upsell their services, but dont press too hard. They do a good job cleaning the car on the outside. The interior cleaning could be better. Then again, I come here to WASH my cars, not looking for an interior detail, although they can do those too.

We thought it would be a quick trip this time because we were able to drive right in to front of line for vacuuming . Wrong. Still had a long wait from the backed up cars before us. I have to remember to go during the week , never on a Saturday morning.They do a great job cleaning the car.

The staff is friendly and i dig the GREEN philosophy and practices a lot, but they did a lousy job on my vehicle. I specifically pointed out the rear door jam (grand cherokee) and wheels as important to me and figured that a $90 detail would take care of those issues but they never touched the rear door jam and the wheels have brake dust on them still. Pretty disappointing. Still searching for a 5 star detail shop in Sacramento. Any suggestions?

More expensive than competing full service car washes. This part would be acceptable if their quality wasnt inadequate. They didnt vacuum the seats and there were several streaks around the windows and areas where doors connect. I would double check the quality before leaving and tipping.

I just tried the now Sactown express car wash and Im really impressed, in my opinion they give a better quality wash at half the price and your not there for 45 minutes. You just drive up, pay and go through the wash without leaving your car. They also manage to dress your tires without a human lol, there is only one guy at the entrance so its beyond me how the dress the tires. They also have an unlimited wash package for $34, I definitely took advantage of that!

This is my New Favorite car wash. They clean the inside so much better than any other place. Ill drive the extra miles to go there.

Why pay $30 to sit around for an hour watching an understaffed team struggle to keep up? I watched my wet car sit around for 30 minutes before they could wipe it down. Harvs has slowly but surely gone downhill.

They let me fill my bike up for free. The guy did it for me and everything. 5 stars for their compassionate service. Also, the guy that did it for me was super hot!

Have been only once. Paid for the claybar treatment. Car looked great after they were done with it. It did take quite a while but I was informed it would be up to an hour and a half. I was busy when I visited so I got to watch them clean many cars and it looked like they were doing a good job on all of them to me.

They did an okay job. I still found crums in the carpet that got missed and streaks on the side windows and bugs still on the windshield. It could have been that it was end of day and they were tired but for the price those things should have been taken care of.

This was my first time coming here. I bought a service off Groupon for full detailing. They immediately try to up sale it. Then I asked for a time frame, because I was on a schedule and completely they went past the time frame that was given. The car came out okay but not for the 2 hour plus time frame it took. Definitely left a little irritated.

Each time I take my car to get detailed, I noticed these spider web type swirls in my paint. When I questioned it, I was told that it comes from dirt that is on the car. So does this mean that my car wasnt being washed clean?

I think this place is great. They have done a better job than the $400.00 detail job I paid for with Sacramento Mercedes on Howe. They are a small business, so I do not understand when people complain about waiting, just do not go when it is super busy, that is not their fault. They take extra care for the simple wash and I have never found a better complete wax job for less than $50.00. Get what you pay for, Harvs delivers more!

They did a poor quality wash both inside and outside. I can’t believe I paid $48 for this. To add insult to injury, their employee Sam was very rude. I won’t be back with any of my cars. I feel like I need to get a car wash, after having my car washed there. Goodbye Harv’s.

If I could rate 0 I would. They were shady from the start, did a bad job cleaning the car, damaged my interior then refused to fix it, and it all ended with them telling me I was the one in the wrong- not the other way around...I went in with a dirty interior from hauling wood and told the worker that the only reason I was there was to get the interior cleaned and I was willing to pay extra to have it done right. He told me that their base $35 Works package only included a light vacuuming, but if I upgraded to their $70 special then he would spend extra time making the interior brand new for me. I thought that was a little shady since the special normally included the regular vacuuming but he made it seem like that was the only way to get the interior cleaned so I went for it (shouldnt have). Before leaving to let them work I repeated that I was there for the interior cleaning and was told to come back in an hour.After an hour and a half they told me my car was ready, which it wasnt. As far as the quality of the wash goes, I would give it a 2/5 - its was mostly clean outside but they clearly did not pay attention to detail. There was still some dirt and water spots here and there and they missed several spots with the wax. Like I said though, I was mostly there for the interior so I initially brushed that off.Now, the interior was not only NOT clean but they also did damage to it and stole a few petty items (change in center console, tow hitch cover). Like I said, the inside of the vehicle was bad when I brought it in BUT it was promised to me it would be taken care of and I PAID DOUBLE to make that happen so I felt it was reasonable of me to assume they would do a decent job. They did not make it brand new like they said, there were still bits of sap and bark inside and literally every corner or crevice still had dust and dirt. Again, it was obvious that there was little attention to detail. On top of that, they didnt even lift the removable rugs and vacuum underneath which is typically part of a regular service- much less when you pay double for interior cleaning.Disregarding the fact that they did a bad job overall, they also broke the mounts that hold the upholstery to the back of the rear row of seats, leaving the upholstery hanging off with the metal and foam seat interior exposed. This was 100% no doubt in my mind NOT the case when I brought the car in, I honestly dont know if they were just hoping I wouldnt check before I left or what. I obviously complained at this point, which ended with the manager coming to my car.After I explained the situation to the manager (Joel Vaca), he said he would fix the part of the interior they broke (yes, he said they broke it). He poked around with it for a second and ended up breaking more pieces of the upholstery mounts off, at which point he grunted something at me and walked inside. After 10 more minutes, another guy came out who was definitely not the manager. I explained what happened again (bad wash, bad vacuuming, newly broken interior parts) and he offered me this: I could drive to the auto part store, buy the part with my own money, and bring it back the next day and they would fix it. I told him that was a terrible offer and didnt make anything better for me, it wouldnt help me to spend another hour an a half driving back and forth to the auto part store and their shop over the course of the next day and PAYING TO FIX WHAT THEY BROKE myself. At this point he said all they would do is give me a free wash- I explained that I obviously DO NOT want a free wash at this point, seeing as they did a terrible job in the first place, but also now I had to spend my own money and time fixing something they broke. Went back and forth arguing with the guy (just an employee, the manager disappeared 20 minutes ago at this point and he wouldnt come back when I asked) for awhile longer before I got too frustrated with their obviously TERRIBLE SERVICE and left.See you never Harvs, I will never be back and will spread the word to save others time and money.

I usually come here because my car looks great afterward. I went on a day when it started raining towards the end of the wash and they gave me the option of coming back in 24 hours to get it redone. I couldnt get that done but it was a nice offer. The only reason Im giving it 4 stars is because when I came here I was with my cousin and one of the employees asked if she has a boyfriend lol. It was weird and it made us both uncomfortable.

My car is as clean as the day I drove it off the car lot. And, I only bought the cheapest package there was. They always do a great job.

If I could rate this place a ZERO I would. I have been here a total of 4 times every single time Ive got the most expensive wash and have been disappointed every single time. They do not wipe down anything on the inside, they did not vacuum well or clean inside the consuls. They barely cleaned my rims and half assed the tire shine. The wash wasnt good also, bugs still on my front bumper etc. I would not recommend taking your vehicle here.- side note, maybe If the employees spent a little less time walking around and talking to each other and telling jokes and more time dedicated to doing their job, you would have a more loyal customer base.Anyone who wants a way better car wash I recommend going to Pavilion on Fair Oaks Boulevard they have yet to disappoint me and Ive been going there for 10 plus years.

Wasted $30 on a terrible wash and vacuum which didnt clean the whole front of the car. They parked it facing onto the street so I didnt notice until Id returned home and of course they had closed when I wanted to go back and complain. The vacuum would have been better if theyd tried with their eyes closed. The sides of the seats werent touched by any degree of suction and they didnt do the trunk at all. Dont waste your money here. So disappointed.

#1 Call to get a quote on shampooing my Tahoes carpets and it was for $70. Once I get there the price goes up to $120. I was told that the condition of the carpets is the only thing that will drive up the price and before he gave me the last quote in person, he said that my carpets arent bad at all. So why the price hike. It really bothered me being that I took time from work and had a friend follow me to pick me up so I can leave my truck. Thanks for a ruined day, I will not be bring my truck here again even for a quote.#2 I even continued to go here after one of their employees stole some glasses out of my wifes car. This was the last straw. #lostacustomer

My go to place for a car wash. The service is fast and efficient.

I was disappointed. I spent over 350.00 for the works on an f250. I brought the truck in at 10:30 am. I told them they could take all day as I had things to do. I thought that would insure a better job. I was told they close at 5:00 sharp.I returned at 4:55. I was told they are still working on it. So, I waited patiently until 5:45 when the truck came around the corner, and at first all looked ok. I had to put some things away that they had taken out of the cab and put in the bed of the truck. When I was finished, they were gone. Then I started looking at the job they did. I think they knew they had all day, so they kept putting it off to the end. Great wash, terrible detail.

Awful establishment!I bought an exterior car was and they managed to break an accessory mounted in my car, which was very obvious as it had been moved upon return. After talking to a manager, I was informed that there was no way to prove that it was them. Wow, apparently now they think that all of their customers are low-life frauds.Im speechless - rude management and rude employees. I drive many miles each day using this accessory and their employees cant even drive it 500 feet without breaking it. Seriously, dont trust these people in your car - which is inevitable since they dont allow you to drive it through the car wash.

About 2 weeks ago I spent $45 at Harvs to get an Ultimate clean. I expected top notch work since this is a rediculous amount to pay for a bad job. Vacuuming was done well. However only three of my tires were clean with the Armoral finish, the inside of my back window was not cleaned at all and the front dash was still dirty. Instead of using the rags to hit all the corners of surfaces they just did a basic wipe...as I drove away I noticed all of this. I used a baby wipe to finish the job. I will not recommend this place to anyone else.

Took time off work to get my car washed here, arrived 2.5 hours prior to closing and I was literally the ONLY customer and was turned away due to not having appointment. I have spent $1000’s here over the last decade and have NEVER needed an appointment. Must be a new policy but still! I was the ONLY person, what the hell? Will be using other facilities in the future.

They do OK. Always have to wait a long time, and their speaker system is busted so u cant hear when your car is ready, but they do a decent job
