John and the crew at VanCo were great to work with on what was for them, a relatively minor project, installing Flarespace flares. The workmanship was top-notch, completed on time, at at a very competitive price. I hope to work with the shop again on future projects.

We have had several Sprinter Vans converted by Vanco and we cant praise them enough. Ryan and the entire team are attentive to detail, professional and make sure you are happy. They treat your van like it is their own. We commute 2 hours to have them do the work and it is always worth it. Highly recommend!

VANco was recommended to me by the RV window distributer I purchased my CRLawrence windows from in southern California for a build-out I am doing on my 2500 Sprinter. As a retired technical services business owner I am capable of installing the three windows myself, but I would take at least three days for me to do it. John Lewis of VANco assured me he could do it all in one day, and I could spend the saved time on other aspects of my build. Upon my initial email inquiry, I was impressed with the automated e-mail reply listing all the reasons why Covid-19 has impacted their (and everyone elses) business and was delighted to see an email response from John shortly thereafter. I knew that my project was pretty much a side-job for VANco (I had the parts - their labor only) but still received the professional treatment that I would have expected for a project much larger in scope. I also knew very well that he could only provide an estimated installation date six weeks out (they are back-logged like everyone else who is competent) and the actual install date was finally determined two weeks in advance, with the date being successfully met. I have been into hundreds of businesses and can quickly tell when a shop is being professionally run. I was pleased with what I saw at the start of the job and very pleased with the results. (I am cognizant of a negative review also posted here, but given my experience, I have to wonder if the other customer had the misfortune of dealing with VANco when both of the principals were out with Covid?) No company or individual is perfect, but from my experience I wouldnt know otherwise. Five Stars! *****

Ive had a very negative and very expensive experience with Vanco. I hired them to convert my Ford Transit into a campervan. Build included building a custom bed, adding vent, solar, move a seat, insulation and CRL windows. We wanted something very specific and took the time to detail everything we wanted in writing and provided blueprints. They said no problem, we know our business, we can do this. 2 weeks max. They apparently threw out their notes and my blueprints and went on to build something completely off spec. First, they forgot to move the seat back and built a 9+ feet long bed... why would one build a 9 feet long bed? No idea. I then got them to fix that, but the problem is that the bed was anchored to the floor and frame. This leaves my van while literal holes in the floor. The build of the bed is rough at best. Theres visible screws everywhere, they didnt use the grade of plywood I asked and its not square. My plan, which I had communicated to them, was to build drawers under the bed for a pull out kitchen. Since the thing isnt square and theres bracket blocking the way, I cant do that anymore.Next, the roof. They were supposed to build a full size rack, but forgot? At this point, were 7 weeks into a 2 week build and Ive lost all trust in them. Ive picked up the van and had to pay full price to get my van back. Ill have to tear out the bed and figure something out to get the build I want. Same for the roof rack.

Its hard to believe that anyone would give this shop less that 5 stars, based on my experience working with them. This is the shop I was hoping to find to build out my Sprinter. If you have to criticize this place, it is because they are so busy it takes a while for them to fit you in. Thats what happens when you are known as a great place.I am completely satisfied with this shop- they bent over at least a little bit backwards to accommodate me, found ways to make things work and (perhaps most importantly) were fairly priced.

I first approached the instal department for a quote in November 2020 and made a request for a quote for a simple mods for additional seats that I wanted added to my van. I wanted them installed and ready by April 2021. Anyone would assume this was a fairly relaxed schedule with plenty of time to finish up quote and preform the Install.NOT in this case! Its been several months I have reached out 1 time after Christmas with a reply of we are still backed up but we will defiantly complete the install before your requested date. It was the end of March and I still had no quote, so I called again, now they are not taking phone calls, but you can submit an email online, so I did through their website. Keep in mind they have my request, Model and Year of the Van, it should be soo simple to complete the Quote. And of course theres no call or email back. Very unprofessional!Im taking my business anywhere else, the delays and false promises good luck.

VANco unpfitted our Sprinter with a combination of an Adventure Wagon interior & MOAB bed system, a Trail Kitchen sink/stove system, water heater, and solar system. They are open to you bringing in your design with all the details or working it all out for you. They also have their own interior system and offer very competitive pricing. They are very flexible, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. I would choose them again if I had to do it over.

Ive taken my construction cargo van to them twice now. Tom the owner, and John in the office are excellent at their jobs. They communicate well and clearly as they offer various options for van conversion. The first time they installed bars over the back windows, insulated my van walls, and then installed paneling to protect the van walls from being dinged. The workers had to remove all the shelving to do this job. They cheerfully did the work without complaint. Toms prices are very reasonable too.The second time they provided a bright strip of led lights and installed it centrally on the ceiling to shine on the cargo shelves. An added bonus is that the light has adjustable angles to better see tools on my shelves. They advised me of all my on off options and I opted for a switched light.I also had them install slick locks for extra security at the side and back doors. They had to move quite a bit of my tools and equipment. I offered to help move things out of the van but again they happily said the could do it. So I was quite surprised when the work came in 15% below the estimate. I also appreciate that they were flexible with my work schedule and let me come in when I had a break between jobs.

These guys ordered some special aluminum shelving for me,and helped me every step of the way choosing what would work best to fit my van and all the options available to me. I had them install an aluminum backing after reading another customers review who did it,to protect the van . They even pre assembled the shelving so I could save time ,the whole process only took 2.5 hours! The whole thing turned out to be exactly what I wanted ,and they do quality work. They never did use the install kit that was included in the shelving so they gave me the money back for it,I would have never known, very honest guys! Not to mention I got a great deal on the shelving.I will definitely be coming back to get any shelving installed. I vote yes for VANCO!

Some of the most unprofessional business owners I’ve ever met. Cussed at me and called me a liar. Left sharp screws exposed in my van. I would not recommend these guys to anyone.
