From the receptionist to the dentist, this team is wonderful. Dr. Nguyen gave me great tips for maintaining my dental health and took the time to hear my dental concerns and show that she was sensitive to those concerns. When performing my cleaning, extra care was taken with my permanent retainers which I greatly appreciated. After having a bad experience with a different dentist’s office a few years ago, I’ve now found a dentist that I feel I can trust.

I absolutely LOVE Round Rock Modern Dentistry. My fiancé and I recently visited the office to start back up getting our cleanings done, seeing that we hadn’t been in a couple years. All of the staff helped us out every step of the way! Dr. Nguyen was amazing, not only did she properly educate us on our dental hygiene but she also made us feel so comfortable. The ladies at the front desk were so helpful! Especially when it came down so doing the digital paperwork. Nelly was able to explain exactly what we needed to do. Our hygienist was super funny and got our cleanings done quick. I’m making this office our permanent dentist.

I get a call 20 minutes before I had to leave for my appointment , that I had set over three weeks ago, to verify my insurance. Seems a little last minute… Couldn’t you have done that Thursday or Friday of last week since a lot of people had Monday as a holiday?I then walk in at my appointment time and there’s no friendly greeting or acknowledgement of my presence. I waited patiently for Them to sort out insurance for the lady in front of me and another person came in after me and they called him over to the side to assist him. I continued to wait after they helped him and finally somebody came out from around the corner to assist me.I got checked in and waited only a few minutes and was taken back to get x-rays which worked out fine. The x-rays only took 10 minutes maybe 15 at the most. I was then taken back to an exam room where I waited over 30 minutes for anyone to come in. The hygienist finally came and measured my gums about 10 minutes and then I waited again for the doctor. The doctor came in examined my teeth for about 5-10 minutes Said there was nothing major to worry about and then left.I sat there not really knowing why no communication like “the hygienist (or whoever)Will be in shortly to clean your teeth.” My appointment was at 9:45 AM I was at the office at 9:30 and it was already 11 AM. I need to get back to work at this point and It didn’t sound like the hygienist was even remotely done with the patient prior. A woman came in finally from the front desk and said some thing about my insurance was approved, which they told me when I checked in and that there was zero co-pay which they told me when I checked in. As a matter fact the same person told me. At that point I was kind of like how much longer? I’m like I didn’t anticipate us taking this long and that I probably need to go and reschedule. she’s like I can walk you to the front but I can’t check you out because I have another patient..I’m like I need to go I’m sorry how much longer is it gonna take? She’s like well don’t worry about checking out we can reschedule and There will be no co-pay on your return. It’s just that I didn’t want to have to wait even longer for an unnecessary check out.I don’t feel like I was being overly inpatient but it just seem like nobody was really communicating what was going on or apologizing for how much longer I had to wait. maybe I would’ve been a little more sympathetic If there could’ve been a little more communication. I wanted to like them they had good reviews on Google which is how I ended up choosing them from my insurance. I hate being one of those people! I just feel like I’ve had better customer service experience even a castle dental who sucked.

The staff here is awesome. I just had a great experience with Nicole the dental hygienist. She kept me laughing the whole time. Now that I think about it that was a great tactic to get me keep my mouth open.This was also my first time with Dr. Rhodes. He was kind and attentive to my concerns.Thanks for the good experience yall!

Round Rock Modern Dentistry has by far the best staff I’ve ever met. Nelly and Alicia in the front will always greet you with a smile and a warm welcome, making you feel comfortable in the office whether it’s your first time there or as a returning patient. The dental assistants Nayely and Diana are always polite friendly, and make you feel like your dental concerns are really being addressed. The hygienist Nicole is by far the most cheerful person I’ve ever met. Whether you’re having a great day or an awful day, she’s sure to make you laugh at least once during your visit. And last but certainly not least, the dentists Dr. Nguyen and Dr. Rhodes provide the best dentistry I’ve ever seen. They consistently show genuine compassion and care for their patients, making you feel more like family than just another customer. If you’re considering this office for any kind of dental work, I cannot recommend it enough. The entire staff is incredible.

I called yesterday to ask about making an appointment to get dental work done. They told me they would call me back within a couple of minutes. I didn’t get a call back, so I decided to call an hour after. Alicia answered the phone in a rudely manner saying they were busy and still hadn’t gotten a chance to talk to the doctor. She said she would call me later that day. It’s now the next day and I never received a call back. I’m not speaking for the whole office, but as for Alicia, she needs to learn a little more about customer service and how the sundown rule works.

Fantastic place and staff. Handled my dental emergency withi 30 of my call for help. I have a new dental provider now. And they are in Round Rock and I live in West Austin. Worth the drive! Highly recommend Modern dentistry.

I had a great experience with everyone in the office. Dr. Nguyen did an amazing job and the assistant Roger was so sweet and nice. The lady at the front desk (sorry I didnt get her name) was so welcoming and nice. Everyone seemed to care about your needs and made you feel welcome and comfortable. I would refer them to anyone. I’ve been going to Round Rock Modern Denistry for 2 years and I think it’s a great dentist office!The front desk staff, Alicia and Joey, are friendly and always helpful. Roger, one of the dental assistants is friendly and helps you to feel comfortable getting dental work done. Dr. Rhodes is kind and understanding and helps you find solutions when you are having problems with your teeth. I highly recommend this dental office! The hygienist is great too!!

Best experience Ive had at the dentist since I was a kid! Dr. Rhodes explained my treatment wonderfully and was able to get 3 of my fillings done in the first visit! My Hygienist Nicole did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, she was quick and made sure that I was 100% comfortable! Best dental team EVER! :)

Nicole and Dr. Rhodes were great!I had pain in my upper left tooth and they found out one of my fillings failed.They put a crown on in 2 hours and I was out. So fast and quick everyone was nice and kind. This is my new dentist office!

Realized that the provider I had made an appointment with was not the preferred rate provider at that location for my insurance, so called to cancel. Receptionist said on no its fine he is accepted by your insurance. I pulled up my price options and determined it was different between providers according to my plan.I said I would feel more comfortable canceling my appointment and if she could go ahead and see what my insurance would charge because Im not sure what the dentist would be billing me for.Her response? Well honestly maam it is not worth my time because that is time consuming. Oh. Ok. So because its easier for you to tell me everything is good and then charge me whatever you want is better for you. Sure. Ok. Lets definitely cancel that appointment.Feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.

Everyone here was extremely friendly! I felt welcomed by the people in the front when I came in. Nicole did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and somehow kept me entertained the whole time!I’ve met both Dr Nguyen and Dr Rhodes and they are both the coolest dentists I’ve met

I am TERRIFIED of the dentist and I had not gone for 5 years. But I had some dental issues and had to go. Round Rock Modern Dentistry was so cool to me about everything. Dr. Rhodes was super great and made me feel super comfortable. They are super flexible with scheduling and transparent with payment. They really care and they really give you the health care you need. Joey, the receptionist is great as well. He is always so helpful with scheduling and they are super flexible and try to be understanding. Roger was super great as well!!! He is the assistant and I was super scared on my first visit and Dr. Rhodes let me play music and Roger sang with me while they were working on my mouth. This place is amazing. 20 out of 10 would recommend.

I’ve waited to write a review of this place until I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Over two years ago a dentist here (don’t remember her name) did x-rays of my teeth and told me I had EIGHT cavities. I had never even had one in my life so I found this very unlikely. I questioned the dentist and she got extremely defensive and was pushing me to get them taken care of immediately. I turned down all services from them even though everyone kept trying to get me to schedule my next appointment. Fast forward to today where I got x-rays and surprise, not a single cavity. I told the new dentist my story about this place and he was blown away. Said there was not even one spot they wanted to monitor over time!My problem with this place was because I had a DHMO at the time I believe they were just trying to get money out of my insurance by pretending I needed more work done than just a regular cleaning. Please be careful when you have this type of plan. If they’re suggesting something that doesn’t sit right with you maybe get a second opinion first.

Nicole Powell is a delightful person, cleaning was smooth and well made, I felt like talking to a friend. Shes very sweet and helpful. Also front staff is very attentive and informative, if you have any questions about fees and insurance just ask them, they will give you all the info needed in a very polite way.

After waiting one month with a temporary crown in my mouth I learn that I have to wait 20 more days to get the treatment the annoying lady on the office said the dentist had an emergency and had to leave early I was in a vacation and the number that calls appeared as suplam j msd something how do I now that it was not a scam call instead of apologizing to me the front office lady started to talk loudly and no respect at all I really hate it that for almost 2 months I am waiting with a temporary crown in short( avoid this place if you dont want unpredictable office that can change your schedule without making you know)

I came here for a routine cleaning and had a very smooth experience and everyone I interacted with was very friendly and welcoming.I’ve had experiences at other places where getting X-rays was highly uncomfortable, but Nayeli was gentle as could be and did a great job.Nicole, who did my cleaning, also did a great job even though she had to put up with my bad jokes.Finally, Nelly, the office manager, was a huge help and set me up with an orthodontist appointment when I expressed my interest about Invisalign.

Well we had the 8 am appt and this is our first visit. So had X-rays done.. the front desk and X-rays went smoothly ...only confusing thing was the doctor was supposed to do the cleaning but then we got a cleaning at 9.. after waiting for 20 mins or so....had to wait for a while between doctor visit and the cleaning... the hygienist was very cool and all else went well. 8/13 update.. had to wait 30 mins for a cleaning.. we should have been in and out by now… the water thing they use to clean dropped all the time and soaked up the t shirt.. usually polishing / flossing is done last but here done first? When they say 1 hour for a cleaning this is what they mean.. also no one picks up so we can check if the doctor is late or mot.. probably will be going back to my old dentist .. though it’s a bit far they were good and had a good turn around time..

Just had a crown put in. My first ever. Was a little scared. Dr Rhodes and his staff did and excellent job and a pretty chill environment. Cant even tell theres a crown in there.

An unexpected pain had me stop in for a unscheduled visit. I was very thankful they were able to fit me in. Dr. Nguyen was able to identify the source of my pain and treat it. She gave me a thorough explanation of the possible treatments and the preventative measures I should take. The overall experience and professionalism was exceptional.

Great practice! Dr. Marcy J. Watson, who works there periodically is a GREAT Periodontist !!! I got a front tooth extracted and a dental implant. Dr. Watson was sweet, efficient, cheerful and went out of her way to make me comfortable and at ease. I went to Round Rock Modern Dentistry to see her (she travels around) and their staff was outstanding. A day later I was pain free ! Dr Nyugen was a wonderful dentist who followed after the dental implant surgery and was very kind. Make sure to ask what kind of pain killers they are sending you home with and if you want something than ibuprofen, ask for it!

They have sign in window that says 59.00 cleaning but No, you have to be examined and told if you qualify for it. While I get that, then dont put a sign on your door like a come on add, get this car for 200.00 then its 25,000. Come on guys you know that we are coming in for that. We should be able to decide what we spend on a cleaning.

Had a major toothache where I couldnt sleep for more than 2 hours, had to ask for an emergency dental appointment. The next 30 minutes I got a call saying I could come in anytime, amazing! They had to pull out the tooth+bone graft. Super relieved. 😇🙏 Thank you Round Rock Modern Dentistry. Linh Nguyen was patient and non-judgmental, shes is my favorite!

I found this dentist through my insurance provider, they had decent reviews, the facilty looked nice, there was a diverse set of doctors etc...This place seemed to check all the right boxes to me, however I was highly disappointed during my visit. First of all, when I called to tell them I was here for my appointment (COVID Procedure) they immediately put me on hold for nearly 10 mins. (Strike 1) Once I was checked in i sat in the waiting room. How long do you think you should wait to be seen for your scheduled appointment? 5 mins? 10 mins? 20 mins? (Strike 2) I was waiting for 20 minutes for a SCHEDULED appointment. No updates, no communication about what was going on. (Strike 3) I ended up leaving before my appointment. Do NOT go here. They will absolutely waste your time. Go somewhere/anywhere else and get better service.

The staff is exceptionally pleasant. The office is really clean and the hygienist are very nice... The dentist breaks everything down in detail for you to understand their terms and takes time to listen to the patients. Theres no long wait time to be seen and get out. Ive never had a bad experience in the past 2 years going there!

Dr. Nguyen is amazing! She is gentle and very detailed! She always exceeds expectation! Most dentist will do what ever work is needed and then it’s see ya till ya need me again, not Dr Nguyen, she wants to pop her head in and at least say hi even if your in the office for a cleaning. The moment I stepped in this office I felt like I had entered heaven. Its been a good 15 or so years since Ive been treated like a human at the dentist office. Everyone was friendly and helpful. As others point out, the dentist has a good bedside manner.Being a new patient, I underwent the standard x-ray and exam. They use digital x-rays here, which sped up the process. The dentist found a few teeth that were starting to decay - due to past cavity fillings that were starting to break down. I thought I would need a few more appointments to get this issue remedied but they were able to do it in a couple hours!As far as price, they do a good job of delineating what your insurance pays and what you owe out of pocket; its very transparent.I cant believe Im saying this but I cant wait to return to the dentist! Definitely recommend for anyone in the Austin/Round Rock area.

If I could I would give this place -5 stars I would. The Dentist that did my root canal was so rude. When I called to complain they told me the Dentist that worked on my teeth is no longer there and they could not help me with anything.I paid out of pocket almost over a $1000 dollars. On top of that I was in pain for almost 5 days after they did work on my teeth. Never offered me anything for pain and when I asked she gave me over the counter ibuprofen. It has been 3 months since I did work with them and I am still having problems with the crown its bleeding nonstop and it does no look right at all. I have done over 5 crowns in my upper mouth at a different dentist office and never had problems like this before. The only reason I decided to go to them in the first place because my dentist moved and this place was next to my house. Worst mistake ever.

This place is so amazing! I had been going to another dentist for quite sometime and was never really satisfied with my experiences, but when I came here and saw Dr. Frank it was completely different. He had very good bed-side manner, he was genuine and very trough. The last dentist I went to never took their time with me and it seemed I was just rushed out the door, but here Dr. Frank and his staff went above and beyond to meet my needs and I never felt like just another patient. I also love that they do everything out of their office. Meaning, I went in there and found I had 5 cavities and they took care of everything that day. I didnt have to wait for them to have a crown made for me, they do it there in the office. So a process that normally takes a week or more only took 3-4 hours at Modern Dentistry. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone I meet!

We have had excellent experiences here. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. We havent had any issues with scheduling or communication. Dr. Frank has been outstanding with our daughter. This is our new dentist.

So what happens when the dentist messes up 2 crowns, and they have to get redone? Can we come back to get them fixed or do I have to get lawyers involved?

Don’t go there.They charged my insurance multiple x-rays fees. This is dishonest because during my visit, they told me that the x-rays they took were only for their internal use, and that no x-rays would be charged to me or my Insurnace.I came in for a simple re-cement for my recent new crown. The doctor pushed to do a new crown with her. I left and went to another dentist.

This is not a place for kids even though they claim to be a family dentistry. They found a spot on my sins tooth then didnt want to deal with him. They made a half hearted effort to clean his teeth. It was a disaster and cimplcom waste of my time. They referred me to the pediatric dentist at their other branch who doesnt even work there anymore. I found another dentist, the spot must have been food because he found absolutely nothing. Very dissatisfied with the the entire process.

I have been a patient here for many years& within the last yr & 1/2 they have had some crazy staff changes.. I was there in January to have a bridge done And had one of my worst experiences ever.. I didn’t want to go back to get my bridge put in permanently due to this. However I had no choice but to get it taken care of so I finally made an appointment and was seen today.. I was so stinking nervous when I walked in the office I was almost in tears. To my surprise both the Dentist and Lead Dental Assistant worked together as a charm.. They were both so sweet and took the time to fix what was done incorrectly back in January.. I was literally there for almost a total of 4 hrs.. in that time the dentist actually did an incredible job injecting and numbing me up, took her time to do things correctly and even came back and talked to me like a normal person.. She handed me over to Sandra her assistant and she did a beautiful job with my temporary that she made.. after today’s experience I pray that neither one of these precious ladies leave this office.. if so, I WILL BE FOLLOWING THEM WHEREVER THEY GO!!!I would definitely recommend this office to anyone that has had some bad experience at any other dental office.. Please make sure that both Dr. Nguyen and Sandra are still there😇

I’m extremely disappointed in the service at this place. They did 2 fillings on me and went by X-rays that were over 1 or 2 old. I kept telling them that I was in pain afterwards and was basically told to deal with it. I ended up going for a second opinion... 2 root canals and 5,000 dollars later (between both Dental offices and maxing out my dental plan) I’m finally pain free. I will never go to this place again.

She did a thorough job in an emergency situation and made it a point to make sure her patient was fully informed regarding the procedure as well as where a future care plan was concerned.

I made an appointment one week ago to come see this place for the first time. I was scheduled for today Tuesday at 5:15 PM. When I showed up they have no record of who I was or any appointments ever made. I explained to the man upfront that I had to rearrange my schedule to be here at 5:15 PM and he said sorry but we cant see you today.Very bad experience will be my first time

Staff is uber friendly, dental work is painless. My kids actually like going to the dentist!

This morning at 8 a.m. I had a crown installed by dr. Salehi and by 9:40 a.m. everything was complete. I do not have to go back and have it installed she did everything today. Normally I dont like going to the dentist but Dr. Salehi and her assistant Crystal were just absolutely fantastic and I look forward to my next visit. Also Elizabeth at the front desk was able to work out a 3 month no interest payment plan for me I am absolutely impressed by this dentist organization

Went in for a crown and was out with my permanent one in just over an hour!!!! Definitely cutting edge technology. Great staff!!!!

Update: (RRMD sent me another person x-ray...no surprise again!!! I would give them a zero if I could. Im fortunate to have found another Dentist office who was willing to do a FREE x-ray)So I called RR Modern Dentistry requesting my x-ray to be sent to an oral surgeon. A week past and they failed to send it. So I called a 2nd time, he said sure I will send it, 2 days later still no show. Made a 3rd attempt, spoke to receptionist and asked her to email it to me. I even verified the correct email address, you guessed it no show. So I left a 4th message stating that I would stop by in the morning.This morning the receptionist said she sent my x-ray and that its probably in my spam folder. Well I mentioned that other emails from you guys Dont go into my spam folder, but let me check it on my phone... Not in my spam folder, no surprise there!!I asked her can I sign a waiver to have my x-ray sent to another dentist. She proceeded to tell me that they dont send records to other doctors and they dont have a form authorizing my record to be forwarded to another doctor. She stated we have a new policy now (which started at the time I entered the office) Wow!!! Really...What happened to Honesty!!!....I wonder what the Board of Dentistry would say about that.I asked, Can you send it to me? She stated it would take a while. I told her I can wait to make sure I get it..... After receiving it, I decided to get ALL my records.I had intended to visit them for other dental work, but they blew that... I will NEVER visit or recommend this place. Spend your $ somewhere else where Professionalism and Honesty is a High Priority!!!!

I have had an ongoing problem with a tooth. The doctor I saw didnt recognize the problem. She is the first dentist I would consider a quack! Go back to school!

The staff is both friendly and helpful. Although some are new to the office, they are providing excellent customer service.
