Dont come here if you make an appointment and drop off your car at 6:30am they dont check the drip box for the keys until you walk in the door at 3:30pm. Excuses after excuses. Oh, yeah I called and told the same person that made my appointment for 11am that I would be dropping off my car at 6:30am today on Friday. It was parked in front of the store, not around the corner, so anyone could see it from the desk. Yes, my car has been here before and is in their system so they have my plate number. No excuse or apology is acceptable. They gave me my car back, 10 minutes after the promised time, but they didnt do all the work that I made my appointment for. The girl, Audrey, that I made the appointment with, confirmed the appointment with and told her I was dropping the car off, who was working today and didnt bother to check the drop box for my key conveniently disappeared when it was time for me to check out. It makes me wonder if they even changed my oil.UPDATE: this review is for the East Old Settlers location in Round Rock Texas. Apparently the social media team routed my review to a different store and that manager is not responsible for this location. Today is September 8, 2021 and still no phone call from the appropriate manager to address what happened.

Made an appointment online, never got a message saying it was cancelled. Showed up and was told that they were booked for three days and then got an email saying they weren’t able to schedule the appointment. I’m pretty sure they declined it when I showed up for it.Do business with someone who cares enough not to waste your time.

Everything was perfect . Untill I received my car. someone at the scene cut my seat with a knife or some tool. 2 holes !! and the manager said they were already there. I am the only person who uses my truck. I am a woman and I never bring anything to cut and less in my clothes. I always notice when I get on and that was the first thing I saw when I opened the door.I am really disappointed by this place !!

Allow me to preface this review with some background. I really like and rely on Firestone more so than I probably should. Over the years I feel Ive received adequate to excellent service depending on the day.However, today was severely different from the norm and the sense of time of the employees at this location was absurd. I had no ride other ride and this vehicle was my only mode of personal transportation, so staying at the store was needed.I scheduled my appoint for 11 am and arrived a few minutes early. I came in to get the oil changed, tires rotated, alignment checked, and a car inspection for general maintenance on my vehicle. I guess I had forgotten to mention or select that the check engine light had triggered, because 2 hours into the reserved appointment I was informed that a diagnostic would have to be run.Not long after I was informed that the catalytic converter was failing and needed replacing. I acknowledge the prices and gave the go ahead almost immediately and was told the part would soon be brought and it would take about an hour to get the part replaced. 4 hours would then pass before I was informed that they were wrapping up and completing final tests. After this updated it would be another hour before I would leave the store as they continue to run tests and I assume complete quality, during which time I was told I would be out in a few minutes.I was anticipating waiting for at most 3-4 hours as I had SCHEDULED my appointment and my own fluke for not getting the engine diagnostic done at the beginning, but I saw almost every other appointment and drop off come and go while I waited for everything to be completed. I dont understand why it took so much longer than they anticipated and if it was taking much longer why no one could own up to their mistake in estimation and told me why it was taking so long.I dont expect things to happen rapidly or for myself to have the top priority, but I would hope that when different employees come to tell me an estimated completion time there would not be a gross discrepancy in it before an update is given to the customer.

They guy behind the counter tell me “I meant to call you this morning to let you know we can’t take you appointment” what’s the point of making an appointment and not taking it. Poor service!!!

This was such a life saver today. Last night somehow I ended up with an Allen wrench in my rear tire. I managed to drive it to Firestone and they were able to patch it up quickly before the holiday. Thank you for saving my tire and making the end of 2020 not so hateful.PSMade the Allen wrench into an ornament.

Firestone does a good job, theyre often booked up and you need to schedule for a day or two in advance. Besides that, they have good service and normally doesnt take too long. Unfortunately theres nowhere to walk to near there except for McDonalds so I would have somebody pick you up if youre getting anything but an inspection. Also, I would definitely recommend getting the lifetime alignment if youre going to have your car for a while. I tend to need my car aligned quite often and it is saved me buckets of money. They dont mind if you bring it in often, I brought mine in every month for the last 4 months and they havent cared. The only reason I took off one stars because they are never able to get the alignment numbers just right and their parameters are much wider than the parameters at the dealership but it gets the job done. All in all, Id say its a good place to get car work done.

Well....this was my first experience @ the Firestone Complete Auto Care facility in RR Texas. I purchased 2 tires and during the installation they cross threaded one of my studs. They further damaged it while trying to rethread it!! I was told it would take roughly an hour or so but it took much longer than expected. They have to replace the tire hub since the stud was completely jacked up. The part will come in hopefully by Friday and will take another couple of hours to fix. Hey look....I am not a chronic complainer but this was definitely not the experience I was expecting, although the staff was very professional and courteous providing me with information. I missed another appointment due to this mishap and and am currently driving around minus one stud. I just hope everything will work out after they replace my tire hub. Just my luck lately I guess.

This is my second time here. My first time was pretty good, although the price I was given over the phone changed a bit when the work was done. At that time I scheduled an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for for my other car for the following week. I was told it should take about 45 minutes and would cost about $58. I arrived 20 minutes early for my 8 am appointment today (the first appointment of the day). Was told it would be about $75. The person at the front desk was very nice and adjusted the price to $60. However, after an hour and a half my car was still not done. Asked when it should be done, was told the technician is running a bit behind. Never really got a straight answer. After I made a fuss, I was told that my vehicle is now being prioritized. I just wish companies would stand by what they say. I know things can change but if a technician is working on my car why is he leaving to work on another car? I am also a little frustrated by the changes in price from what I am quoted to what I pay, especially for something like an oil change and tire rotation. After an hour and 45 minutes my car was done. I am not sure what the purpose of scheduling an appointment is, especially when it is clear that I am waiting for the vehicle. I am not sure if I will be back to this location. The people up front did work hard to try and get the situation addressed as quickly as possible.

Went in for a flat tire, and Joey and the team took great care of me. Had me in and out quickly, checked the fluids for free, and didnt try to upsell me on anything. Very clean, the entire staff was friendly and professional, and they basically made the whole process as painless as possible. Recommended.

They were amazing. Naomi was so helpful. We had the truck in a Firestone in San Antonio and they said we needed $3000 of work done on the front end and air conditioning. We couldnt wait for that much work due to an event in Austin so dropped the truck there and it really didnt need all that work. Naomis insight and knowledge of the need got us running and out of there for only $600. Thank you Naomi for knowing your stuff.

Friendly con artists.Went in for a break check as steering wheel vibrates under breaking. Diagnosed as needing REAR brakes and told lets see if that solves it, otherwise well do the fronts. Even if the rear brakes did need replacing, how physically are they going to generate a vibration through the steering wheel - theres no connection. Will be getting a second opinion and will not be going back to this Firestone location. At least they were friendly!

I just moved to Round Rock and was borrowing my dad’s truck. His tags expired so i went to get an inspection. They took an hour, charged me $20 and told me I failed due to a check engine light. Seriously? If you see the light and know it will fail, what’s the point of wasting my valuable time and money? Just tell me that it won’t pass and let me be on my way. I had to leave work early for this. This place is a sham and is just trying to hustle anyone for their money. Oh also I sat and watched and for a majority of the time no one was even doing anything with the truck. Never ever returning to this place.

I got my truck inspected here it was super easy staff called me and let me know my vehicle was ready. I will be going there for now on to get my vehicle inspected. It only cost me $7. They were supporting the boys & girls club when I visited so I went ahead and donated. How cool is that?

Lady in the front was super nice, they tried to bill me an additional 1,000 dollars claiming there where oil leaks, when I know there arent. Beware of this. also if you have a manual car beware as well, the gentleman who drove my car was slipping the clutch in 1st at 5000 rpms in first. I could hear my car revving sitting in the waiting room, I instructed the lady in the front that I would drive it out when they where done but they still drove it out. To be fair the second guy seemed to drive much better.

They took me in same day, it was good of them and last minute for me (which I hate). The only problem is it wasnt terribly busy but it still took well over an hour to get an inspection done for my vehicle... hopefully next time will be better for us.

I had new tires put on! I got a good deal on them. All the employees were very friendly. It was a very clean auto place. I was treated with respect and not talked down as most places do to women. They were quick to get my car ready as soon as they could. And when I did the survey they sent me by email. I had a tiny issue it was addressed within minutes after I submitted my survey. I will be using them again.

The lady who took my oil change request was extremely friendly. However, that does not change the fact that they forgot all about performing my oil change.I dropped my car off at noon and advised that I would be back after work at 5pm. When I returned I was informed that my oil change had not happened yet and I quote well you might wanna take a seat, they forgot to change your oil. When I asked how long, they said it would take at least an hour.... I have children to pick up from daycare and could not wait for this oil change, so I left.Very unprofessional. Ill go elsewhere from now on. I was a steady returning customer as well, but this is unacceptable. I was relying on that oil change for a long drive taking place that evening. Had to put on an extra 2k miles before I got an oil change elsewhere.

The job was done quickly and right. Im leaving four stars because the lady in the front gave me horrible customer service. My tire got a ball on my way home and the nearest place was Firestone and it closed in an hour and a half. When I arrived she rolled her eyes at me and yelled we close in an hour!!, I asked her if they could still fix it and she just made a noise ughhhhh, luckily there was mechanic that told me he would fix it. While I was waiting and she started yelling morning shift doesnt do their job right, theres no paper in the printer,WTF do they pay them for. And she just kept rambling ...

I use them a lot, i love getting my cars fixed on the weekend when I dont need them all day. I also like the fact that I can walk home in 30 minutes, and if I need a rental, Enterprise is just a five minute walk from my Firestone.On a recent weekend I put three cars in on Saturday for oil changes, new batteries, some preventive maintenance and state inspections. one car needed a major A/C repair. Two finished that same day and the A/C job finished Sunday.

First of all, as a woman I hate going to mechanics in the first place. So I have to share this positive experience. I hit a curb really hard and my car veered to the left bad. Went here and told them I wanted a basic alignment and nothing else for now. They did exactly that. They did mention something may be bent that holds the wheel, but it was small and could probably wait until I could afford to have it investigated further. This has been one of the only times I have not been upcharged or told I had multiple things wrong. I truly appreciate them listening to me when I said I was on a budget and not being backed into a corner to do work I cant afford. Of course if I was going to leave in an unsafe situation, I know they would have been different. My car now runs great! Im sorry to see some of the lower reviews on here because I had a wonderful experience and will definitely come back. Scott the manager was great! Such a great place!!

Im a young woman but I know when Im getting sold BS, every time I come in for asomething simple Im oversold everything possible. An oil change has taken up to 2 1/2 hours, with an appointment called ahead days in advance. Very unhappy with the service I received. The customer service front women are very friendly but oversell as much unnecessary things as possible. Feel like Im getting ripped off every time I take my car here.

He was quick to advise that his shop would not be able to help, that the transmission was beyond their help. He recommended A+ Transmissions. I dropped my Jeep off this morning to get an alignment and ac system looked at. When I returned to pick the Jeep up I was told that they couldn’t change my caster angle. After when I called to make the appointment I was told that wouldn’t be a problem at all, explained that it’s a lifted Jeep and that it need adjusting. Turns out they can’t do it witch would be fine I could take it somewhere else’s but they still charged me 90$ for a service they couldn’t preform as promised. Naomi at the front was very nice threw my frustrations about the whole situation and tried to help me as much as she could. Janae on the other hand the tire manager was not at all. From the time she called me to me getting in there she had a sore attitude and wasn’t willing to help at all. Instead brought the mechanic out from the shop to come in with a worse attitude explaining that they can’t work on old vehicles. Very very unimpressed with the management of this business the fact that I needed two jobs done and they couldn’t preform either one and still charge me is ridiculous.

Absolutely horrible. Ill never go back. Took me 4 trips to the store just to get an emissions test and oil change. Was told I needed a diagnostic test, which I had done, then had work done (coil and spark plugs). Was then failed for my inspection bc of window tint. But charged me for a second test. Really? Couldnt have told me the first time? Even after paying $100 for a diagnostic test to find out what to fix and have the work done ($500) at the store so I could pass inspection. I guess Firestone REALLY needs an extra $20. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Our family has done business with Firestone in Georgia, where we live, for more than 20 years. We felt safe to send our son, who lives inTexas, to the Firestone in Roundrock to get new tires after he’d just had a flat. He had just got a new job and had absolutely no money so we agreed to buy the least expensive ones and charge it to our Firestone card. Well, the least expensive tires were not in stock, but we were quoted a price for the next in line - $740. Then the price went up to $930 because the mechanic claimed some of the lug nuts were cross threaded and broke off. We highly suspect this was not true because he’d recently had the vehicle serviced by a very reputable mechanic. Then they told my son they were going to charge an additional $200 for labor. My husband finally called them to let them know that we were not willing to pay for something that they were responsible for. After we hung up, my son called back to say that they were not going to have the car ready until tomorrow. So he’s stranded at Firestone with no way to get to his house. Thanks Firestone! You really know how to take advantage of people.

Good shop and good guys, especially the kid with the bird. I have been going to this place for years and have never been ripped off like the last person stated. They do try to sell you a bunch of extra services but like everything ells you have to balance what you need against what you can afford. And never have major work done on your car without getting a second opinion. What one mechanic consider bad might not be the same in anothers eyes, because like the word says its only one guys opinion.

Im going to start off this review with a positive note and say that the staff here is very respectful and seem to be knowledgeable. I have taken my car here a few times for some regular maintenance, oil change, inspection, etc... I usually have my mobile mechanic perform all the work on my car, but in the case of the alignment I needed, I had to take it to a shop. The first thing that went wrong was that the guy that I dropped my car off with wasnt paying attention and put me down for an oil change, not an alignment. Not a huge deal, but when the mechanic shop doesnt get the order right it doesnt give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. Picked up the car and it drove like new... for about a week. The shaking in the steering wheel when I braked came back with a vengeance and of course I was pissed. Upon further inspection I realized that the shop DID NOT properly tighten the lug nuts on my two front drive wheels. Totally unsafe and I will NEVER take my car back here. If you plan to, check the lug nuts when you get it back!

I had received a promotional coupon in my email. I usually go to Honda Service Center. Since the deal was a air filter and oil service, i decided to go to Firestone instead. When I show up for the service, I was informed the air filter will not be eligible due to not being in house. Thus, the promotional coupon was a scam to show up at their company. I hate deception! I will not be going back here. The staff were very friendly; I don’t agree with their business practice.

Took my car to Todds Automotives after receiving a quote from these people and less then 15 min everything that was written up was incorrect. They might be good for tires but dont trust them for anything else.

Not only did they take hours for my brake pads to be changed they also kept the keys for the locks on the wheels or at least didn’t put them back where they go. I’m trying to have the tires rotated and can’t because of these guys! SO UPSETTING!Update: after a few weeks my brakes start squeaking really loud. I go back in to get them fixed and supposedly they were. Well the next day they start squeaking again. Horrible job done

I needed a Interstate battery for my Cherokee, these guys were closing, I arrived a few min after closing time but these guys still helped me! I had called ahead to confirm they had the battery I needed, but there was a minor miscommunication over the phone, they were able to find the correct battery, but happend to be a bit more than previous one priced.They were awesome enough to match the price with the Interstate battery store, this was a pleasant surprise! They also waited a until I replaced battery incase I needed help and let me use a socket extension to remove battery. I would recommend these guys at Firestone!

Went to get a headlight changed because the front bumper of my car has to be removed in order to change it. Lasted only 12,000 miles when the original lasted 120k. So of course it out of warranty. Dont waste your time or money.

I have been going here for the past 2 years. I have been very happy with the service and Jason is one hell of a manager. He gets it done right and at the right price. If you go in for a specific repair you feel needs to be done, and it turns out you dont need it after all, Jason will state the facts of what is truly wrong and for me, has saved me A LOT of money. I dont trust very often, but I definitely trust these guys for my repairs and maintenance to both vehicles.

I do 99% of my own car work, but I dont change my own tires, I had made an appointment to get tires installed. When I arrived 10 minutes early on a weekday I was told there might be a wait. They gave me a 90 minute estimate.They did get my car in quickly and beat their time estimate. While waiting I heard them on the phone taking to other customers and they were giving honest answers and seemed genuinely interested in giving the best service to customers.When I was ready to checkout they gave me a list of suggested additional service. Some of it was reasonable and others were just based on guessing since they didnt know the vehicle history. There was no pressure to buy anything else though and I was out the door paying what I had expected to.They have free wifi, a TV, and a small table for kids, but if you dont bring your own entertainment kids will get bored quickly. You could walk over to the McDonalds next door too.

I have spent thousands of dollars at this location over the last 10 years and have never been told I would be charged $100.00 to diagnose the problem. So I wont be taking any more of my vehicles to Firestone. You cant fix if you dont know the problem. I already have the code. If I was just bring it in for that alone I could see being charged. Service Recovery. I had a poor experience at another Firestone a few miles away. It happens. Sometimes the customer has a bad experience at a good place. Since I couldnt get timely service at my neighborhood FS, I went to the professional staff at Firestone RR. They scheduled me in with a managers business card in case I need further assistance. The service took the right amount of time for my cars issues and I felt like a valued customer. Thank you.

I will say that they are very professional in the showroom, however their mechanics flat out suck. First off they over filled my oil. Thankfully not by too much, but enough to scare me. Secondly, I had a horrible sound coming out of my engine. I paid them $70 to diagnose it. It came back as the alternator. However I was a bit skeptical. It turned out it was the Alternator Decoupler Pully, not the alternator itself. They were going to charge me $450 to replace the wrong part. No thank you.

I had a twelve oclock appointment to get an oil change, tire rotation and fuel filter replacement. I showed up at 11:45 and was told the fuel filter replacement was twice the cost. Also, when I asked how much longer the service would take, they told me my truck was being pulled out of the bay as we speak. My truck was still in the lot and not in a bay. They pulled other vehicles in that showed up after me. Very disappointed as Ive spent lots of money on tires in this shop. Whats the point in having an appointment? Ill take my business elsewhere.

I called them to ask if they could mount some atv tires for me and specifically told them they were 12 rims. They told me yes on the pone but when I got there they said they could not because it was to small. I know how the machine works and know they could have done it. The guys there were just too lazy. Another time I used them I had to get two tires done to match the other two I had on my car. While working on my car they left the key on and drained my battery because I have a after market stereo. The solution is to just hook a battery charger on it and let it sit for a while but they just pushed it outside and left me stranded.

There over charging. My shop dosnt even come close to the price. The dealership dont even come close to the price. I dont even come close to that price. Your going to try and charge me for a coolent flush fix a tail light that dont even need to be fixed and put in upper and lower control arms in the front. Please. Who ever goes here and gets work done is wasting there money. When i know i can get it done somewhere else a hell of alot cheaper.

Always trying to sell something. They wanted to charge 120.00 for electrical check for inspection sticker. I had a fuse in the glove box. Dropped off another car for inspection they said would be 30 minutes. 3 hours. After replacing the fuse Im back for inspection again.the guy next to me dropped off a car at 8:30am its 3:22 pm they havent even started his oil change.

I wasn’t to happy with the service I had a nail in my tire which they did fix👍, but after they fixed that they then tried to get me to let them fix a head light that was out for $56. I literally went to Walmart and bought a replacement for $10 and replaced it with in 2mins.

WATCH OUT!!! There is a guy that with a nasty beard and his name starts with a J that is a thief. He is crooked and will do anything to rip you off. He sold me a used tire and come to find out Firestone doesnt sell used tires. He is out to make a buck. Dont let this guy work on your car.

I recently had motor mounts installed on my car. I was a little apprehensive, but when done my car runs like a brand new one. They gave me back the old parts upon request. I am really pleased that they did not take advantage of me being a woman. My husband agreed the mounts needed replacing. Thank you Justin, Jason and the other guys.

My rental car company called and set up an appoinment for me the night before. When I arrived then manager wanted me to wait in the two hour line. He did not dispute the appointment was made. He was very stressed out and took it out on his customers. My advise is to go to the firestone on IH 35 and Wells Branch. They are always friendly and never have a long wait. When the appointment was made, it was made because the night before two hours before they closed they stopped seeing people because they were too busy. So, if you dont want to wait 2 hours for an oil change (they get like this the moment they open their doors) dont go here.
