They made a replacement key for us. Excellent service.They have a handicapped facility including the bathroom. This is very important for those in wheelchairs. They are ADA compliant. My now deceased sister-in-law was an amputee. Arguing in the shop, literally cussing at each other and cussing the owners of the shop, while not listening to the customer at all. Had to stop them from creating a duplicate after not listening to what I asked which they charged me for in the end.Was quoted $20 - $25 by Don who was pleasant on the phone but didnt matter because he wasnt in the store when I dropped off or picked up. Ended up paying, $52.10 all said and done for two keys that do not work.Unprofessional, rude, and not sticking to their estimate. You can go to the dealer and get a key cut for less. As someone who works on cars for a living, the service was unacceptable and appalling. This shop needs to catch up to the 21st century and fast.

Max gave me options for a safe I got for free. Ended up drilling it, took longer than expected, didnt try to up charge me. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Will definitely use these guys anytime I need help with locks

Couldnt thank these guys enough. Came in with 4 unique keys. walmart or home depot couldnt help me with any one of them. After 5 minutes at cothron, I had 2 copies of each key for $30. There was even a key that he didnt have a 100% match for, and he still was able to me a working copy. Incredible work.

If I could give zero stars I would. I brought a key fob in to be programmed for my truck. After 30 min of trying the guy said my battery was too dead and gave me till the end of the day to get it checked out. They charged me $60. Auto Zone confirmed my truck battery was perfect. Went back to Cothrons and they tried again for another 30 min yet still could not program it. I asked for my money back and he refused, wouldnt even program it again if I brought in a new key fob, said I would have to pay the amount again. Really?? How do I know if its my fob or your faulty equipment!? When I asked that he said cuz I am a locksmith, this is what we do.... Located another locksmith who was able to program my fob in 5 min. Cothrons is a scam and the guy who helped us is rude. I had to call my bank and file a dispute.

I stopped to purchase padlocks and have them keyed to a couple different key sets. I forgot my some of my information. They spent 20 minutes on the phone chasing it down so I didnt have to drive back to the office and get it.

After waiting 3.5 hrs for a different company to turn up who kept telling me 45 mins, these guys came to my rescue within 30 mins. My garage door had stopped working whilst I was out & my doors were deadlocked from the inside. The gentleman that came to help me was calm, professional & so kind (I was a flustered mess). They got my garage door open in less than 5 mins. No mess. Would 100% recommend!

Cothrons is AMAZING!! They are completely focused on delivering excellent customer service and the highest level of customer satisfaction. We were having our locks all changed and we had a problem when the glass shattered on one our older doors due to some issues with putting in the lock. Cothrons was so great and they took full responsibility to get it fixed. They sent out a new locksmith who fixed the original problem, which I wasnt sure could be fixed, but he did it. Also, the glass replacement crews was amazing, as they had to not only replace the glass, the but trim around the glass. They even worked on Saturday to ensure that it was done and completed in a timely manner. It was quite a job to get it done and to ensure it looked the same as the other door. They did it and I am SOOOO pleased. I will continue to work with this AWESOME locksmith and would highly recommend them to anyone. Needed a motorcycle key. Called every dealer and locksmith north of 290, was quoted everywhere from $100-180. Guys at Team Scream dealership finally told me to go to Cothrons. They did it for $45 in about 10 minutes, with a smile. Amazing service to go with the best pricing in town. Im impressed enough to leave a review.

This place was eager to help me find a solution to my problem. My key had broken into 3 pieces. Without hesitation, the guys at Cothrons told me to come on in and theyd give it a try once I reached out to them. The gentleman took my 3 piece broken key, and proceeded to make a copy from the existing pieces. Afterwards, he told me to take the key back to my lock (still stuck on my back yard gate) and give it a try, trusting that I would return if it worked. Long story short, it worked like a charm, and I returned to purchase 2 more copies of keys. I was grateful to be able to open my backyard gate again, as it has been closed for 4 months now. Luckily its been the winter months, time to get this back yard ready for spring! These guys are great!

I came in to buy a safe and lock. Most safes have locks built in, but not here I guess. I had to buy both a safe and a bunch of chains, and then a lock too. I stored my car keys in it and forgot the padlock code almost immediately. Damn, I am so late to work right now but that safe really works.

I bought an aftermarket key/fob combo off the internet and brought it to these guys. They told me that it very well might not work and they would have to charge me either way. I told them to go ahead and in 10 minutes they had the key cut and the transponder programmed for my car. Everything worked. These guys are up front with the risk and really tried to warn me it may not work. Thankfully it did. These guys are the real deal. Thanks again.

Today I called Cothrons Safe and Lock, due to a multitude-T lock I purchased and have seen this tyoe of lock before the pins fell out while trying to figure how to install the lock. Well Mr. Dan was so very helpful and came to my rescue and fix the pins in my lock within an hour. I was very pleased and greatful for the quick response and turn around. My wife and I was unable to open our safe to access her passport which she needed to fly out in the morning due to an illness in the family. I called Cothrons first but they very were busy and explain to me that they may not be able to get to me until after 5:00PM. So I called other locksmiths in town and they were also busy, but their technician never replied back and provided me a window. So I decided to schedule an appointment with Cothrons with the assurance that someone will be at my house even after 5:00 no matter what. Around 2:00, I was really starting to worry that I was not going to get the safe opened. Shortly before 3:00PM, I got a call from locksmith Max Neal that my appointment is next since he finished up earlier with his last appointment. When Max arrived I explain the urgency to get the safe open which he understood and gave me complete assurance that the safe will be opened before he left. In short time, he was able to open my 25 year old safe quickly. I am very thankful to Max that he was able to help my wife make her flight that almost didnt happen.

Merlin is the locksmith magician! I went in for a new key fob for my Kia Soul only to find out that it would cost $250. Merlin suggested a chip key. He then discovered that my car doesnt require a chip for the key and was able to cut me a new key. Long story short...at a time when he could of taken advantage and sold me a very expensive key fob he chose to side with integrity and sold me a key. At a time where money is everything, integrity is king and Merlin is the master of integrity!

When you think of an old locksmith, sometimes I picture a grumpy old white dude. Thats what you might get here at this shop if youre lucky! Take the attitude with a grain of salt. Dont take it personal. They know their stuff, theyve been around the block seen almost everything! This company has been around for a long time.
