Fun place to skate with the family. Nice they let you bring your own skates or blades if you want. And prices are pretty reasonable, skate rental is only $2. They have a few arcade machines, claw machine, candy and chips for $1.

Outstanding. Rented for a church youth activity and it could not have been better. The management team here is fantastic. Everything was worked out ahead of time and they delivered. Great place to skate and hang out.

I love playing hockey here. The people are really friendly and the atmosphere is great. There are always professional staff on hand to assist with anything you need. I’ve been playing roller hockey here on amd off since 2015 and I will keep coming back. The owner Adam makes things very easy for you to get on a team that fits you best.

Admittedly when I first gave my 5 stars, it was because the gym is associated with the RCRG, whom I support. However, since then I have joined the gym and found friendly folks who are creating a culture of support and sharing and a gym environment that you can tailor to your needs. It is a place that has made me feel comfortable and confidant in the gym, which is not typical for me, and Im getting stronger and healthier every day. I recommend wholeheartedly.

Went on a Saturday. The manager on duty was agreeable to refunding the skate rental when my youngest didnt enjoy skating at first. A young woman who worked there offered to let my youngest skate with her and she was awesome with encouraging my little one. I still wouldve liked to get a refund for my skate rental as I was in them for maybe ten or fifteen minutes but I didnt push the issue. Overall, pleasant atmosphere and nice staff. Prices are a bit steep but reasonable if you spend the entire day there.

Overall I like what this place is doing as a 24/7 non-profit gym and recreational center. However, their skate floor is just abysmal. Its not smooth. The floor is like some sort of hard rubber mat with holes in it. Its possible to skate on, but not very well, and especially for speed skates.Since that is the main reason I was considering attending, I was very disappointed. The membership fees, while cheap at only $20 per month, were non-refundable despite the fact that I was only there for a few minutes and will not be coming back any time soon.

A full sized hockey rink with a perforated surface, rather slick (which I like) and slightly bumpy (like outdoors, not bad). A bit dark, needs more secondary lighting. DJ E was 🔥. Kudos to Freighttrain giving free skate dance lessons.

I went to Austin Sports Arena to roller skate, and i had a really great time! The workers there are really nice and cooperative and the atmosphere is clean and comforting. If you fall, there are helpers on the rink that will help you and make sure that everyone is skating safe. Also, if you have a child that cant skate very well they let you go on the rink with shoes to help them. There are snacks like popcorn, nachos, and other soft drinks too. They do play all sorts of new music that you hear on the radio and other classic songs that everyone can enjoy. They have skates that you can rent and they are treated with good care. They are cleaned after every time someone uses them and they are quite comfortable for rental skates. I think that it is a great place for little kids, teens, and adults that want to go to a place to have some fun.

You can not beat the price for what they offer. The owners are incredibly friendly and fun to converse with. They have a wide variety of gym equipment where you can olympic lift, power lift, body build, crossfit, and plenty of cardio machines.

I bring my 2 boys 8 and 10 they love it. The staff is great they also except veterans discount and I really appreciate that. The place is clean snacks are good and they even have a bar upstairs for grown ups. Overall its 5 stars.

Very cool place, they have 24 hour access, they have a skating rink, gym, etc. $20/month for 24 hour access is pretty nice. Its nothing crazy, but its accessible.

Great place to rent for team roller sports and practices. Currently the home of Rockin City Roller Girls, but they do rent out the track for other sports and events. There is also a recently renovated GYM in here called the Garage Gym which is AWESOME! Only $20/mo no contracts, you can bring a friend for free and WYSIWYG!!!

Its a fun place to bring the kids for a party or a day out on the rink. The staff here strives hard to make your experience a good one.I constantly watched them hustle to keep the area cleaned and ready for the next party or group. The music kept the kids and adults involved and overall did not have many concerns or worries.Nice place tucked away in the back of the complex that offers a place for the kids to have fun and birthdays at.

Great place to go skating with the family. Always clean and the staff is friendly! The hockey league is great there. I was told that they will have roller hockey for younger kids after the first of the year!! I cant wait to sign my kids up so they can skate of the energy.

Under new management!The Rock Sports Arena is a versatile space for activities and events. Volleyball, roller hockey, roller derby, birthday parties, dancing, and work out any time at the Flex Fit gym!I often roller skate there, especially nice during long hot Texas summers.

Staff was friendly and the location is convenient to Round Rock and Pflugerville. The skate floor is textured because I believe it used to be an ice rink, and skates dont roll well due to this. Also the concession area was under construction, there were appliances and equipment strewn about as if it was left in the middle of the job. It also smelled like a sweaty locker room.

I have been playing hockey in Texas for about 12+ years. I have been to many rinks and have to say this one is nice. The staff is great and they even have a bar upstairs (not pricey). I have enjoyed my 2 years playing adult league so far and would recommend this for an avid hockey player.

I found ASA about a year ago. As an old guy who hadnt played hockey in roughly 13 years it seemed like a good place to try to start again. I am about to start my 6th season back playing again, and it has been great fun. The guys and girls in the C-League have been very welcoming and encouraging. From what I can tell the B and A leagues are much more competitive but for me its been great to meet some fellow hockey nuts and get out on the rink.

Love this rink.. maybe I dont like that they let people run in the rink during skating sessions. But the staff is the best. better than any rink in the Austin area. Prices are also reasonable.

I love rollar and ice skating, its one if the few sports I actually enjoy. This rink is owned by a very nice man and his family and they welcome you like, well, family. Its clean, has decent food, nice people and a loving aura in general.

I have just booked my 4th party at ASA. Its the simplest party I have ever had to do...the party package I choose is one where Pizza, lemonade, popcorn, table cloth, plates, cups, utensils are all included. All I need to do is bring the cake. Last time I forgot the candles and they gave me some. Staff are attentive and refill the popcorn and drinks without needing to be asked. Best of all they have an area where parents can get a beer or glass of wine! Perfect!!!

I love coming here! I work out at the gym, and skate the arena floor. What better way to get exercise than skating?! Always clean and well-lit, and sometimes I get to watch the Rockin City Rollergirls in action!

My family and some friends came here last Friday. It was our first time so we didnt know what to expect. Well, we loved it! The staff was really friendly, and the music was fun and the disco lights made it feel retro. I skated with my daughter for a while, and thank goodness they had old school skates for me. When the adults got tired of skating, we hung out upstairs and watched while the kids skated. They ended up skating the whole night, and they even got to play dodgeball. My daughter wants to come back for her birthday party in October, but well be back before then!

Love this place, Ball Hockey, Roller Hockey, Roller Derby and and now a 24 hour gym. So much fun and good for ya!

Really like the quality entertainment provided for our kids. The skate training tools are a pretty nifty idea too.

Great place to learn to roller blade or roller skate. I attend Austin Floorball games here and its a perfect venue for floorball. The staff is nice and the facilities are decent, the bathrooms however are scary.

What a blast! Took my 8 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson, thought we would stay an hour before they would become board and bruised. We were there 4 hours, closed the place down. Cheapest childrens entertainment around. I am now considering buying them skates for Christmas.

I went last night for my first time! I went to play pick up hockey game. It was my first time playing hockey since having to retire from the minors due to knee surgeries. I will have to say, this is an out-standing place to play and try to rehabilitate my knee. I just wish i could have played the full 2 hours, but had to stop early due to my knee. I am definatly going to play every saturday night to rehab my knee. Awesome staff, Clean facility. I rated a 4/5 ONLY because the locker rooms are very small and there is no shower for hockey players, But other than that its a 5/5

My first indication of quality should have been when the Web site showed conflicting open skate times. Then, i tried to call to confirm the time and the number was disconnected. I took my children anyways as I had promised my daughter. I attempted to tell the teen behind the counter about it and it just didnt seem like any big deal, but he said hed mention it to the owner. While there, I saw several kids get hurt and no one seemed to really be in charge or watchful which i felt was odd as there were a few campers present for the day. The flooring on the rink was not very smooth so my kids kept wanting to skate on the concrete outside of the rink instead. I dont believe well ever come back. I dont feel like the quality was worth the money we paid and it just seemed disorganized.

First time here with my 8 year old. Had a great time overall. I think that its great that they provide a few support gadgets (the white things for kids to hold on to) for the beginners, but a few more couldnt hurt. I as a parent wouldnt even mind paying an extra $1 or 2 for the night if its going to help my kid get to a comfort zone to then be able to learn on his own. I looked at them closely last night and they materials that they are made of are very inexpensive. One night of rentals would pay back for the expense. Or how about adding a timer feature that goes off per hour? That alone can be rigged on in a way to the existing unit. I saw kids using their thing the entire time I was there and they clearly didnt need it any longer as they were using it to do tricks. I even saw a mom letting her little kid (couldnt be any older than 2) having fun on the rink with it and he wasnt even wearing skates? All while my kid is knocking knees, frayling like a crazy chicken and almost pulling me down with him.Other than that, although I personally didnt see any staff on the rink myself (there for 3 hours), I think it would be a good idea to have one of the young workers do an occasional round to pick up any debris laying around that could cause one of the skaters a fall. There was a lot of wrappers, paper and even a unraveled birthday bow out last night that we had to dodge. With it being dark and the disco lights (which were great), it is hard to see what is on the ground.I thought the young staff was polite and attentive.We had a blast and would love to go back. Ill have to get there early and snatch a thing next time, it will save me from waking up the next day with a back thats killing me :)Oh and although I was a crazy teen myself a long time ago, I really hope this place doesnt turn to the hang out for the kids that have their boxers showing because there pants are falling down as my kid put it. Or the girls that came in with sprayed on pants (so tight) and skimpy shirts that had more than one would care to see hanging out. All the while on their phones just propped up along the back. To the owners...I can guarantee you by enforcing some sort of dress code or by merely asking them to either skate, sit in bleachers or actually play games, it will run a lot out. The money working parents will spend at your place on their kids will bring in much more income to the venture than the bad reputation a crowd like the above would give. Not to mention run the paying customers out. Reminds me of back in the late 80s in Austin and what happened to Highland mall. A great place to shop until you had to walk through the posted up yangsters just to try to get to the food court to actually eat! Yep....we all know what happened there.Anyhow, long winded, but you guys have an awesome place with such growth opportunity that it would be a shame not to tweek done small things to prevent any possibility of a possible shift in direction.We will definitely be back and hope to see you guys grow and profit! This place is doing something that no other place can offer in Round Rock , Pflugerville and Even Austin. Roller Derby, junior roller derby, ball hockey , roller hockey and even a 24 hour access gym...

It was very clean, people were friendly. I think they should have kept smaller children and beginner skaters safer from the hockey kids, however, during free skate.

Parents can play live poker at the bar while the kids skate. PERFECT!!!

I went here with my husband n children last week n witnessed for my self the out of control behavior ppl r reportinging. teenagers work there so naturally they let their buddies come hang out. which is not a bad thing unless they r unsupervised as these teens are. i witnessed pot smoking outside n along with a girl performing oral sex in the parking lot. inside the older teens were being very rough n purposelly trying to knock ppl down while playing dodge ball by throwing the ball way to hard at childrens legs. my lil girl got hit above the ankle n hit the ground so hard she broke her elbow n may need surgery. when i caledl to report the injury to the manager all I got was we there is nothing they could do. well yes there is. STOP letting unsupervised teenagers run your place of bussiness, or have an adult there as well on each shift to watch out for misuse of your skating rink. theses kids naturally let pick there friends for games like dodge ball but dont tell them to play safe. like not purposelly throwing the ball hard or at ppls legs. and not to run around on the rink without or even with skates on pushing each other as if it were roller durby. what do you think is gonna happen if while ppl are going round skating and teenagers are running on the floor in front of you and pushing ppl down in your way. HELLO.... i really think the owner should stop just defending and being insalted over our reviews and just clean up your bussiness... I offered to e-mail or come in and show the video I recorded with my phone of such issues but i was denied. this is a big beautiful place and would have loved to keep bringing my family there but not as long as it remains a playground for drunk and high and violent teenagers. I was one of three familys that left that night due to all this. the owner is very lucky i am not taking this beyound this review, but one day someone will unless change happens now....
