Brought 2 family vehicles in for repairs. Both Danny and Cody have been awesome to work with. The work was performed without any surprises, or additions. Both repairs were done within the estimated timeframe. And, both repairs fixed the issues we were having - A/C leak repaired, Water pump, thermostat, and housing replacements, Valve cover gasket replaced. I will definitely keep taking my vehicles to these guys!

Sad. This place used to be awesome. First time in five years I went in and didn’t see Jody. The whole crew is new. Prices have skyrocketed. $100 for an oil change? $400 for brakes? $180 for a fuel system service?What happened to the family atmosphere? Never again. I’ll go to Firestone where they constantly send me coupons for $25 off oil

AMAZING PEOPLE HERE. Went in for an oil change, left with an entirely tuned up car! (I know I missed a lot of services listed above!) I knew something was off with my car but didn’t want to rush it off anywhere else to get it looked at except with these guys. Family owned and down to earth, professional people. The shop is closed on the weekends and it was 5pm on a Friday (yesterday) by the time they were done looking at my car yet still stayed late to get it all done. I even got a ride home from them since I left my car to get worked on until late! They really treated me right and had a smile on the entire way through. Got thorough explanations about what was done (in simple talk); didn’t leave me in the dark or wondering/guessing what was actually done. Have been going here for years and don’t intend on going anywhere else. Even surprised me and saved me additional expenses at check out :) highly recommend!! Don’t go anywhere else :)

They have hired a consultant who is only concerned about boosting sales numbers. He claims to be the owner but had to admit that it wasnt the truth when promises he made he was unable to keep.

First time taking any vehicle here. Took my 2014 Ram for an oil change since they have Mobil 1 synthetic. Good first impression. Friendly staff and quick service. Technician reset my oil change gauge (thank you). Other places seems to forget. They also put air in my tires since they were a little low. I would go back for a second visit. Keep you posted. 😉

Major work, new engine, and it came out great. On any big expense, I do my homework before pulling the trigger. Everything checked out just as they said. Believe me, I tried as hard as I could to catch them not being straight. Anything to avoid a large expense. Cheaper than the quotes I received elsewhere. Transparent from beginning to end. Car was ready a day early. No problems.

Ive been using them for several years now for oil changes. Had an issue with my vehicle, so I came in for a quote to have work on my SUV. Came back the next day to have scheduled. Central Texas Auto Care performed the work on time, and did a great job. Very pleased with their work and warranty. Everyone there are great to work with and discuss any problems with. Id recommend them to do work for you.

Called and got a price for my wifes truck, quoted $55 over the phone.Was shocked when she walked out of there with a bill of over $100.Called back and complained, left a message for the manager, he never even took the time to call us back. These guys didnt lube anything and found out from the guy behind the counter that they didnt even use the correct oil. So we had to take it to another shop and get it replaced...Feel completely ripped off, be careful...Date of service 6-13-2020

Being new to the RR area, I wasnt sure where to take my vehicle for repair. I took a chance on CTAC due to their popular reviews on Google. Im really glad I made that decision. Ive since had service performed on another vehicle for two other issues. All of my experiences with CTAC have been positive with great communication and on-time delivery. More importantly, I didnt get the feeling they were selling me parts and service that werent needed. Overall, I have a lot of trust in this shop and will bring my vehicles there when I cant or dont have time to repair myself.

Wonderful staff and great work. Me and my wife won’t take our cars anywhere else to get our oil changes done. I also recently had some work done on the front end of my truck, they were able to get it in the air within 15 minutes and correctly diagnose the problem and replaced my lower ball joints before the end of the day. Marilyn at the front desk was even nice enough to drive me home when I dropped my truck off. I love bringing my vehicles to Central Texas Auto Care and would give them 10 stars if I could.

I cannot say thank you enough to Central Texas Auto. I have had multiple mechanics that have looked at my car and replaced parts, but could never completely resolve the issues on it. I decided to give this shop a try and so glad I did! FINALLY the issue is completely resolved. They were extremely thorough on the diagnostics and found the hidden underlying issue others couldn’t see. My car is finally fixed and at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommend this auto shop!

Phenomenal work as the mechanic spent two hours not only fixing the problem but also diagnosing where it came from so that I can have the auto body shop fix it.

Mechanics did a good job... but the front desk charged me an hour and half for labor when I watched it take 15 minutes.... when I asked about this I was told “the book” says it takes 1.5 hours...... wouldn’t work with me at all.... would not recommend coming here at all....

Needed my car inspected so I went to Central Texas Auto Care, on 620 and N Lake Creek near Subway. I told them my son recommended a new terminal since I got a new battery. They looked at it and said it wasnt necessary for me to spend extra money and said that Coke will clean off the corrosion. I am happy with them and will definitely recommend them.

Do not confuse this place with some of the earlier owners. The new owners are AWESOME. It is so hard to find a good mechanic but these people will help you as if you were a good friend. My whole family uses them for inspections, oil changes, and light repairs. Even if we know they cant fix the problem we will go there first to get a good handle on what the problem is and they will recommend the best place to fix it.Update: Came in for an oil change and listened to Marilyn advocate for the customer for 15 minutes against the mechanic before they called making sure that every option had been exhausted before they settled on their recommendation. You dont see this type of service anywhere. This place is the best.

The service here is phenomenal! This includes the actual repairs, the mechanics (especially Jody!!) and the office manager, Marilyn. As soon as you walk in the door, you get the sense of family. They dont just make sure your car is ok, they make sure YOU are ok.

This place will rip you off. All of the reviews say that they do good on oil changes and simple things. Dont get brakes done like I foolishly did. Check out the BBB website to see what they did to me on a brake job. Besides this they suggested I get a 1000 dollar AC fix on my car that was not necessary. This place charged me over 300 dollars for a brake job. I took it in when the brakes were barely starting to squeak. I thought I would get the job done before it got worse. Less than a year later the brakes went completely out. I figure they sprayed some brake cleaner on there to stop the squeaking back when I took it in. So i went to a reputable shop and got the brakes fixed right. On the BBB website they claim that the brake job was out of warranty. Sounds like they have a very bad warranty if it doesnt even cover a year. This is the first time I have ever reported a bussiness to the B B B. I dont think it is fair that I had to pay for a brake job twice. But this business refused to give me a refund. Dont go to these con artists
