Closed their location down without letting customers know, excuse me; they defaulted on their rent and when it finally stacked up to a $50k debt the lease owner took over and they decided not to let customers know. I showed up for an appointment and the door was locked, a letter on it from a local attorneys office. Absolute most scummy business practice I’ve ever witnessed real time. Even if they ever do open back up, save your time and find somewhere else for your breathalyzer/car AC needs. AC Authority is a bunch of scam artists.

Sandy is really sweet and does her best, but theres always an issue with this device or some technical problem at the shop when I go there that causes me to have to wait around way past my appointment time. This is not acceptable because I have to come during my lunch break which is only 30 minutes. Plus Round Rock LifeSafer hours are extremely limited.On another note, I originally had this device installed in Hewitt near Waco but transferred to Round Rock because its close to my new job. Hewitt didnt have as many problems but turning my AC on maybe 30 minutes after install I noticed cold air was only blowing on the passenger side while my side was hot. I had to research online to discover that this is a common problem after some type of interior installation where the tech didnt reconnect the cable. I took off the panel under the steering wheel and sure enough, the AC cable was not plugged back in.Then there is the LifeSafer customer service line. Good luck getting through to anyone promptly unless youre a new sales potential. Ive been waiting now for about an hour on hold. If you select the option to be called back, half the time, you wont receive a call back at all. Customer service reps are also highly incompetent and their devices are glitchy yet they act totally ignorant to this fact. Ive had to have mine replaced a while back yet this one still exhibits some of the same glitches. Thank God Im having this thing removed this week, its been a 21-month total nightmare.
