The staff and management of the Vichy, Missouri store are very knowledgeable when you have a question and they answer it with a smile on their faces. I always drive the extra 4 miles to the Vichy, Missouri Dollar General!

Has pretty much anything you need for a decent price. Some of the aisles look like they had a hurricane run through them and they havent restocked the pan I saw and wanted to buy yet, but if you need something in a pinch theyve probably got it. In terms of groceries some things would be better bought at the price chopper across the street, but I havent had a good change to compare specific prices yet and price chopper doesnt have things like duct tape or Tupperware.

Good selection, couldnt find any reusable cups in the store which was odd but not a big deal

The acid rock that the attending manager had playing was very offending. And yes I mended it to a worker in his ear shot. Other than that, besides the way this managers appearance, the store was fine.

Some staff friendly some staff not. Some staff slow some great. Just the luck of the draw. In my opinion Employees are hired and leave to often, so this is not a place to shop if you like your checker to be a friendly familiar face. If your in a hurry its all about timing because it could be a while before a second checker comes. Never stole a day in my life but get followed a lot and if you like to shop where you wont be stared down the whole time dont go here. Used to be great shopping experience but has gone way down hill in my opinion. Most new checkers were very rude and i did not get the discount advertised on the sign even tho it was to date but the checker did give me the 5$ off from my previous receipt and it made up for it so i give 3 stars for mixed experiences.

Not The BEST Dollar Generals I have visited, The store is like any other DG, has things on shelves. Depending on the time of day/evening you go there, is the the result of the type of service you will encounter. open till about 1-2 youre good, anything after that.. its on you!!That is all

This particular Dollar General had a very wide range of items to choose from. Selection was more than I had anticipated. Store was clean.

HORRIBLE! Went in this morning around 8:40 am got my things and went to check out. Noticed another gentleman standing there keep waiting about 10 minutes later a guy comes in and says sorry we will have to keep on waiting they are trying to fix someones van. I ask if he can check us out first says he isnt on the clock *snotty* ask who is on the clock he says the other guy who is working on the van. Ask him to go and get the guy he says ok.... 5 minutes later both are still working on the Van. Im sorry they are not mechanics and one of them is being paid by Dollar General to check people out when they buy things and not have customer wait over 15 minutes. I left and never go back there again, plus side if you need your vehicle to be worked on take it there I guess.

I didnt get the cashiers name but, I returned a USB Type C Cable and a 3 port USB Rapid charger for the car. Have you in mind, both items were in their original packaging, with the receipt and with in 2 days of purchase. The Cashier girl said its policy that anything more then 10 Dollars has to be given back on a Dollar General Card!!! Not the policy at all!!! She told me this just seconds after she scanned the items and loaded the money on a DG Card!!!! Then I thought about it and said Ill just buy a PayPal card and load the remainder on it, and then some. Well it took her about 5 minutes or so to figure out that you CAN NOT buy a PayPal card with a Dollar General Card!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
