We were enroute to Wilmington when we had tire trouble. With 15 minutes to closing the staff happily cared for our spare so that we could safely continue. The staff (to include Emily) was wonderful! Thank you!

Thought they were a good company at first However Ive had to take my grandmothers car back 3 different occasions to get repairs done. The tires they put on the car makes the car ride bumpy, and when asked to replace the tires they said they couldnt do it, because it has been too long since they put it up there. Those were not the correct tires to begin with, my grandmother has spent so much money with this company and to tell her you cannot do it, was unnaeceptable to me !! Also an overdrive switch was put up there but I cant tell much a difference. I understand it is an older model car but for 2,000 repairs it should be driving smooth, no bumpiness, and taking off at a good speed.

This is a family owned store owned by good, honest folks. I have been here twice and both times they completed the needed repairs quickly. They found that my alignment had contributed to the problem, and offered to fix it for me at a fair price. Yes, recomended.

I wish they had negative stars I would give them a negative 10 star rating....my car somehow jumped timing so I took it to these yahoos.....it took a little over a month to repair and after a week the engine started to knock wildly I took it back to them and they said that it had nothing to do with their repair....so basically it cost me 2000 dollars for them to destroy my car....now I am forced to buy another car and spend more money because they wont back up there work....will never use them again and I hope this review will keep other people from making the same mistake ....simply put dont take your car to carolina tire for engine repairs....not happy

Very nice people. I was impressed by the level of knowledge and advice from everyone. The young lady at the front counter knows her stuff as well as the guys in the back. The whole place seems very dynamic, not the lackadaisical vibe you get at a lot of car shops. I took my car there for something they said it didnt need, which implies honesty because they would have been within their rights to just give the customer what he wants and bill him. Highly recommend.

The Carolina Tire Company folks represent what is right in America today. AAA would not change our flat we were stuck on the side of the road with dog two kids and AAA would tow our car but leave us on HWY bc of COVID it was 100 plus degrees -Carolina Tire stayed open and helped us. I can’t tell you how grateful we are and I will never forget their interest in helping others. Their prices were very reasonable. I can’t thank them enough.

Thorough, attentive and honest. My first experience was due to the LOW TIRE PRESSURE readout that came on again.I had air put in the tires by a service center in a different city two weeks prior to my first Carolina Tire Company visit.After putting air in the tires, it was explained I could come back to have the tires checked out if the low tire pressure light came on again, and it did about two weeks later.I returned to CTC. They checked out the tires, and sure enough, there was a small part of nail lodged in the tire. It is a new set of tires. They took care of the tire. I highly recommend Carolina Tire Company. For what my vehicle needed, the service was fast.By the way, the staff and mechanics are always professional; and the plants in the reception area makes waiting on your vehicle being repaired a pleasant experience.

Weve been going to them for years and the service level has always been on point.

We had taken our other car to Mr. Tire, the price we had been quoted over the phone was not even close to what we were charged for 2 tires and had to wait the entire day for the car to be ready. Big contrast to Carolina Tire. The service at Carolina Tire for our Equinox was superb! We were charged the exact price we had been quoted over the phone, no surprises there! We were in an out in an hour and half after purchasing 4 new tires and had a wheel alignment, incredible speedy service there! And the staff were so friendly and attentive, they even noticed our tags were expired, we had bought them and never replaced the sticker. Outstanding service in my eyes, we are loyal customers of Carolina Tire for life from now on!

Carolina Tire was recommended by a neighbor in my home owners association. The lady said she has always had positive experiences related to her automobile repairs done at the facility. Needing a personal recommendation, I chose to give them a try. I wasnt disappointed and theyll see me again because unlike some other small shops in the area, they have managed to have help on hand that are up to date on diagnostic techniques needed on todays modern vehicles. Without updated techniques and the young minds willing to learn them, the lesser shops, especially in a small town, will go the way of the dinosaur.

We were traveling from NJ to FL when we discovered a brake issue. We were very fortunate to find Carolina Tire in Rocky Mount. They diagnosed the problem, ran to get parts, fixed it and had us back on the road in an hour.In addition, they took the time to explain what else we should check after our return. The best was that they were closing and stayed open for Norm to fix it for us. Great way to do business and we cant thank them enough!

I brought them my 2001 Mercedes Benz and ask them to put some front pads on. Precision Tire was going to charge me a hundred and sixty-five Evan though I had my own pads. I came into Colony Tire and I could tell they had other Mercedes customers on the lot which was a good sign charge me $65 plus install sensors on each tire finish Fast and professional

The fast friendly service we received at Carolina Tire Co. was excellent! They fixed the oil leak in our van and got us back on the road in a surprisingly short time. We mad it to Florida and back home with no problems. We are in the automotive business and most times we only hear the negative comments so I wanted to share some positive feedback, thanks and keep up the good work.

Carolina Tire Co. is staffed with friendly and competent people who are willing to go above and beyond to help people with their cars.

I recently went to Carolina Tire to see about engine running too rich the mechanic Bryan told me 100% it was the fuel pump and that he was going to cut me a deal on the pump and it was only going to cost me $392. Carolina Tire is supposed to be tied in with Nappa Supply so I went right across the street to Napa and the price of fuel pump was only $263. I didnt appreciate them trying to sell me something more than what it is. So I bought the pump put it in and that is not the problem. Brian the mechanic said fuel pressure modulator is built into the fuel pump that is true but that was not the problem there is a nother fuel pressure modulator on the spider injectors under the manifold. So I wasted my money and $150 to pay somebody to put that in.

My experience with this Carolina Tire was aggravating and did not meet my expectations. I recently had a brake problem with my truck while out of town. I called around to see who could do major brake repairs and Carolina Tire said they would take a look. Once I got my car back, I realized that the repairs were not complete and there were still problems with the brake system. Not only that, they had lost my key. They never informed me of the lost key. They simply made a new key. However, my key chain also had a key fob attached. I made them aware that I wanted my keyless remote replaced and that my brakes were not correctly repaired. They informed me that I would have to wait and that they could not find my key fob. After hours of waiting and many conversations, they agreed to take another look at my truck and replace my remote. I do not mind paying a fair price for quality repair and customer service. My frustration is when a company is defensive and unprofessional in their responses. When a consumer does business with a company they should be whole upon leaving. My frustration and the reason I would not recommend Carolina Tire is their lack of accountability and professionalism. If you lose something, take responsibility. And if the repairs are not complete, offer solutions, not excuses.

When traveling from SC to MD yesterday, staying in the KOA in Enfield NC I noticed a noise from my engine in my PU truck. The KOA owners gave the name of Carolina Tire. I called at 5:00, got an appointment at 8:00 the next day, was on the road by 9, the costs were reasonable and the staff very friendly. A shout out to the professional mechanic who brought the failed bearing to show me what went wrong. The people of Rocky Mount have an excellent auto repair shop in their back yard.
