Had a huge dent in the passenger side of my truck. Took it to Dons and gave me a decent estimate. Told me it would take about 5 -7 business days. Did a professional assessment of the truck and sent me on my way. They had a few more repairs than anticipated once they took the truck apart and told me it would be a few days longer. Turns out they didnt need those extra days at all. They finished up early and gave me a call to come get the truck. Real nice job with color matching and seems as though the truck was never hit. We brought our car in before 9:00am as requested. They said it may be a few days, they would keep us posted. Well, to my surprise, they called me the next day to say it is ready!! The color is a perfect match. The experience could not have been any better.

The front end job was finished in two days and included online updates and a friendly phone call when ready for pick up. The work looks great. Hit a deer that messed up my driver side. I called dons body shop to schedule a repair. Steve was immediately able to schedule me in and talked me through the whole process. Daniel(parts manager) had my parts delivered very quickly and had my car finished in a week. Tim serviced my car and did a phenomenal job replacing my door and fender, the paint looks great. Dons body shop takes great care of their customers and this shop will be recommended to everyone I know that needs work done.

I have a 1990 Toyota Pickup that belonged to my Father and it has 85,000 miles on it, the paint had faded long ago, but it has a great engine. Cosmetically it looked rough, and then a month ago a driver ran a red light and crushed the right front quarter panel of the truck. I felt okay thats that - the truck is gone and now here come the car payments. However, I found the greatest people on earth, when it comes to taking the impossible and making it possible. I spoke with Kevin the owner about the damage and the age of the vehicle and I thought he would just say its not worth fixing. However, he took the bull by the horns and got to searching for replacement parts within budget. Each time we spoke on the phone, he was so excited when he found another replacement part. When I was presented with the finished product, I couldnt believe it was the same vehicle. I thought it would look like it had been in a wreck, but truthfully it looked like it did when it rolled off the show room floor. I have no idea how they did it, but I can tell you that they were a pleasure to work with, they took care of each and every detail and the end product they produced was truly amazing. I want to thank them for all their hard work. Its obviously more then just a job for them, its about producing an outstanding product that speaks volumes about their work ethic and dedication.

I have a 2018 Lexus with pearl white paint. My vehicle was recently sprayed by a rock truck. I was so disappointed, as I had worked so hard to take good care of my car. The paint I have cannot be just touched up, but must be totally repainted if damaged (due to multiple layers). I was skeptical when getting my car repaired that it would ever look the same again.I brought my vehicle to Don’s Body Shop and was immediately put at ease by the attention to detail Steve had as he looked over my vehicle with me. He had a keen eye to make sure all details are noticed, even things I didn’t recognize initially. He promised me they would take good care of making it look like new again.I was contacted every step of the way. I never had to wonder how much longer it would be before I received my car back. They even helped with the coordination to ensure my rental vehicle would still be available until my car was returned (definitely an extra step they didn’t have to take).When my car was returned, it looked like new! I am so pleased with the whole experience and thankful that I have a body shop who is as interested in my satisfaction as they are. A big Thank You to the staff at Don’s!

The customer service was nice & professional. The only issue I had was that my appt was scheduled a week or 2 after the initial assessment. I was told they would go ahead & order the parts needed so theyd be bk by the time I brought my car in. I was told I would be able to bring it in on Tuesday & pick it up on Wed. I know things happen outside of an indivs control, but once I got my car there on Tuesday, I was told on Wed that they were waiting on a part & I couldnt get my car til that following Monday. (It was Thanksgiving & they were closed Thurs & Fri). So what was supposed to only take 1 day now took 6 days to get my car bk. I wish they had told me up front that the part was not in yet. I would have waited to leave my car as the damages still allowed for me to drive it. Instead I was without my car for almost a week.

I must say that I have been taking my vehicles to Dons Body shop for many years and have pleased with every experience. They are reliable, courteous, and customer oriented. I have never had to wait any extended period of time to get my vehicles back and the work was exceptional. I would highly recommend this body shop to anyone looking for quality service and quality work in a timely manner.

I hit a deer on Memorial Day Weekend, the team at Dons towed my car from Morehead City back to Rocky Mount. When insurance deemed my car as a total loss, they were able to repair all of the damages at an affordable cost all while making the front of my car look brand new again! They were friendly, quick on repairs and gave me updates during the repair process. When my car was finished, I was not able to pick it up during business hours, so they had someone stay to bring it up front when I arrived. This auto shop was wonderful, they have several locations and I would definitely recommend them as well as use their services again!

I unfortunately hit a deer with my car that I had bought only a few months prior and was pretty bummed about it. My insurance company gave me a few options of shop to choose from and Im so thankful they pointed me to Dons Body Shop. From the time I made appointments and was communicating with the shop, the receptionist was always so warm and friendly. Steve was very friendly while walking me through what would be done and what to expect. They kept me very well informed throughout the whole process about when to expect the car to be done. I was thrilled when I picked up my car and it looked brand new and most of my cars (pre-existing) scratches had been buffed out completely complimentary to me. It looks amazing and I could be happier or more impressed to have dealt with everyone at Dons!

Love their work

I cannot say enough about how awesome Dons was. They even caught more areas of damage that I had missed. The paint is better than the factory paint on the vehicle. There are no solidified paint drops on the inside of the door above the window sill - signs of a good paint job. They washed the vehicle for me before returning it, and they were sure to wipe down inside the door so as not to leave water residue in the door. They gave me a ride to the rental car facility, and constant updates on the car throughout its stay. If you find yourself needing body work - you cannot go wrong taking it do Dons Body Shop.

The staff at Dons is extremely knowledgable and professional. The quality of their work is second to none. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. The next time I need work done on my car, Dons is where Im going.

I left my truck there on a Monday and they told me it would be ready hopefully Friday or Tuesday the following week (holiday weekend) they then pushed back to Wednesday then Friday and on friday they called me at 4:00pm telling me to come get my truck. I arrived at 4:30 and waited 20 minutes for them to bring it around front. Well ten minutes till they close they brought me in to pay I handed them a debit card and they said they dont take debit cards. So I had to drive home get a check and bring it back before I could get my truck. The Mgr said they didnt have a card traded because it was too expensive and his excuse for not giving me the curtesy of telling me about the debit card when they called me was she didnt know you had to pay. I am lietrately angry and will never go back to this place agaiN.
