I have delt with this place 3 different times. First 2 times awesome. This last time my wife went to pick up her rings from being sized. They sized the wrap wrong and started fussing at her like it was her fault. Then they wanted to send them back to fix it but offer no paperwork showing wrong size. Just picture of her wearing the ring. Very shady and disrespectful.

My husband and I walked into this location over the weekend. As we walked in we were standing by the door when a woman turned and yelled over her shoulder “sign in on that paper.” No hello, just shouted her demand and turned back around to what she was doing. We signed in and proceeded to follow the arrows around to the earring section. Walked past the “screamer” and a second employee who we didn’t immediately realize was an employee. We stood by the earring section and waited to be acknowledged. A man in a mechanics shirt and a winter hat walked out from the back, finished with some other patrons and then yelled from across the store, “what ya need.” Smh... We told him we wanted earrings for our daughter. He responded by spinning the jewelers box that contained children’s jewelry and saying “you need to go to piercing pagoda. They’re part of Kay. They will have what you need.” I followed up with “will they accept our kay card and do they have children’s jewelry.” He said “yeah.” We left and went to Piercing Pagoda a couple days later. To my surprise, they are not an affiliate of Kay and could not pull up our Kay card information with their system.I don’t know what Kay is going through but the customer service offered by these associates is so much different that it use to be. We have spend 10s of thousands of dollars at this location and they have now lost loyal customers. We deserved better treatment.

So far its been a pleasant experience especially during this pandemic. Brought my ring in Sunday to be resized great customer service. The women who helped us helped him the day before and she was delightful like a breath of fresh air. Im so excited!!! Hoping to have my ring back in the 2 weeks time frame if not earlier super excited to get it on my finger😉. Will update on process later

Went here today to buy a diamond necklace for my anniversary. Was not properly greeted by either of the employees. After starting to look around a black woman loudly told us to sign in. This so called sign in was asking for name and number. The reason was unclear because it seemed pointless since nobody provided help while inside the store. We found something to buy but neither sales person approached us so we walked out. The whole time we never got a hello or how can I help you. I hope they permanently shutdown. Absolutely terrible customer service!

I cannot express enough how professional and awesome Willie the manager is! A true brothers keeper of veterans and an honorable man who took care of the situation where a manager from another store fail to take care of his customer and he made a right. I will definitely be coming back again for all future purchases. I promise you this review is from a real customer that is more than happy to sing his praises after the nightmare I had at the colonial heights Kay Jewelers store manager.

Katie and employee (her name slips my mind. She has blond hair) were phenomenal! They took extra time with me, corrected an issue from a year ago that an old employee refused to help me with and corrected the issue I originally went in for. Before today I wouldnt have recommended them but now I highly recommend and suggest these two amazing women!

Susan is one of the store manager at va. comm center who I meet about 17yrs. She great. But the Kays jewelry has gotten cheaper and the quality is cheap looking. Kays needs to bring back the good quality !

I brought my wifes wedding ring which was missing a stone to them. Scheduled time to be back was the 16th after valentines day. It was back the Friday before!!! And they did a spectacular job!!! Very impressed with there customer service, there work, and there efficiency. Excellent business I highly recommend them.

It was horrible the lady took over 5- 7 min to great me to only say someone will be with you shortly. I was standing in front of the counter in front of her smh no good customer service at all. Smh thats why these places are closing down now because customers dont want to spend money in a place where they are rude and have no customer service . They already dont get business on a regular basis so why not go above and beyond for the ones you have ?

My order was shipprd to the store on 10.24.19. We went to the store and were told it WASNT there wait until I was called or emailed. Six days later no call no email and Kay Customer service confirmed my products were delivered AND signed for. I WONT DEAL WITH THE KAYS at that location EVER AGAIN!!

The worst experience ever. I got a new wedding set for Christmas and took it in to be sized. I was told it would be back in 2 weeks. Well its January 15th and I still havent gotten it back. When I called on the day it was supposed to be back which was on a Monday that changed to Wednesday. So i called Wednesday and that changed until Friday. So I called Friday and was told that it didnt pass quality control and it would be Monday. And here it is Monday and Im still waiting. If this wasnt a gift from my husband Id tell them to keep it. Im waiting to leave the state and this has been beyond horrible!!

I was looking for a place to buy my girlfriend a promise ring and i found the perfect one here. This was my first time going to this Kays and it will not be my last time. Katie was amazing. She helped me find rings that fit my budget and that my gf would like. Katie was delligent and patient with me whole time. Anytime you come here while Katie is there she will get your right.

I was told I could exchange my ring that I bought less then a year. Been in shop 3 times because smaller stones fall out. They tell me i have to spend over 2 thousand more or cant exchange. I could have sent ring out to be repaired then why spend more when product is bad. They dont tell me this when I ask about show waste people gas to come find out. This is so wrong they really lost me as customer.

Very displeased with representatives.. sign said open at 10 am . They didnt open doors until 1025 . They didnt even apologize just unlocked door and turned away.Not even a thank you for your business. To top all thing one representative was taking a private phone call with the speaker on .

I had a terrible experience I was buying a ring for my girlfriend and put it on layaway well I was never told I had to put 20% down to keep it on layaway. And they took a small down payment and told me as long as I hit the required amount per month itll stay there. Well I didnt hit the 20% down within the first month and the ring was taken off layaway without a call or anything. And then when I asked why did the guy take my money and get me to sign papers without telling me this, the response I got was I dont know seems kind of shady to me. Wont be going back to KAYS
