Heather is terrific. I have been using the cleaning services of Mid Atlantic Maid Service for a number of months. They communicate very well and remind me the day before they are coming. Everyone is pleasant. More importantly Heather does and outstanding job cleaning my home. I have recommended them to a friend and will continue to do so.

I Would Definitely not recommend this service. They are not efficient at all! I have a 7 room apt and 1 maid Heather took 3 hours to clean my kitchen and bathroom and charged me $225. My Apartment only needed straitening for family arriving the next day. The place wasnt even filthy. I had to cancel my plans and do some of the work myself. This whole experience was a waist of time, money and ruined my whole day. The next day I had another cleaning service come in and clean the rest of the rooms fold/hang clothes and mop the floors for half the price in under 2 hours.Heather cleaned well but was way to slow. The owner Todd is more concerned about contracting his services than efficient thorough house cleaning. I was fooled by 13 google reviews, I shouldve read the Yelp reviews first. These seem way more accurate!!! Heather also arrived late!

I have been a customer of Mid-Atlantic for many years. I have found their services to be a good value and their company to be a good match for my familys needs, even as those needs have changed over the years. I want to especially recommend Kayla, who has started working there recently (as of July, 2019). On top of a cheery disposition and a warm personality, she works quickly, and is very thorough. Id gladly have her back in my home at any time.

My parents used this cleaning service for 3 years. They were signed up as premium customers which meant they were scheduled for twice a month cleanings on a monthly basis. Unfortunately my father passed away and my mother no longer has the funds to keep the service up and running. She called the owner and asked to cancel the service and he (Todd) made her aware of the 30 day cancellation notice that is written into their contract which requires her to pay for two additional cleanings. My mother called me upset saying that Todd was very rude to her over the phone and she was nervous about the financial implications. So I gave Todd a call and very politely asked for him to work with us given the extenuating circumstances and find some sort of middle ground. We might have just caught Todd on a bad day but he is clearly a tightly wound, defensive person. Our 5 minute conversation quickly descended into him raising his voice, saying these contracts are what I live by and that if I was in your parents situation I would never ask to break a contract. When I tried to calm him down, he interrupted me again, aggressively, yelled Ill see you in court! and then hung up the phone. From my understanding, the cleaners of this service really do great work, but it is a shame they are being employed by a person of this caliber. I would think twice about utilizing a service that ultimately lines the pockets of an individual lacking empathy & professional maturity.

Todd - thank you for your response to my familys review & complaints below:I told your Mother I was very sorry about your Fathers Passing , Your mother called today and wanted to switch over to Monthly Service , but she didnt want to pay a higher price which I understand . She gave her 30 day notice per her service agreement which she agreed to all of the terms before signing back in January 2016 so I dont understand your review .If I was so difficult to work with I cant believe your PARENTS would have stayed as customer of ours for all of this time , considering we havent change our terms or pricing since they became customers . For the record I have worked well with your Mother and Father over the last 3 plus years as I do with all 600 customer that we service for the 28 yrs we have been in business . Again sorry you feel the way you do Matthew.What seems to be getting lost here is the real basis for this review. You are a stickler for your contracts, we get it. It is documented in other customers reviews and while it might be a bit shady and non consumer friendly, it certainly isnt worth taking the time out of our day to post a google review. However what is worth our time commenting on is your attitude and general offensive tone that you have shown us today through multiple conversations. Whether you believe in karma or just basic professionalism, your behavior has been worrisome. To be as aggressive as youve been with your words to us in this difficult time has been hard to stomach. At this point we are fine with giving you the $190 you are demanding from us for not giving you 30 days notice of contract termination. You want to play hard ball with a family going through a financial and emotional crisis? Fine, have at it. Well send you a check. But in the meantime all of your current customers and potential future customers should be made aware of what type of business person you have shown yourself to be.I fully expect another public apology like the one you closed with above however you failed to mention that you are also sending us a text message threatening to sue us for slander.Maybe you are just having a REALLY bad day and we are unaware of other things in your life that has pushed you past the edge to where you are treating people this way. If that is the case, I am sorry for what you are going through. I hope you are able to find some peace and balance in your life.

From the moment I met Nicole we just hit it off...I have had breast cancer so for a year my fiance, now husband, has been doing the best he could to keep our place clean but it needed a total makeover!!! I was certainly surprised when I got home and found a clean and spotless house...I was just amazed. I have the glass shower doors and have tried everything on them to get the soap scum off with no luck. Walked in that night and they were so bright and clean it was hard to believe! I am so happy that I have decided to have them come out every 2 weeks...its sooooooooo worth it and thank you Todd for your excellent business and working with me to get this done! Do yourself a favor and call them, the rates arent bad at all.

I absolutely love the job Heather does cleaning my condo! She was recommended to me by a family member and I could not be happier. I love that the service provides all supplies and WOW their vacuum cleaners are amazing! I have a Dyson but theirs put mine to shame. Best birthday gift I ever gave myself was hiring Mid Atlantic Maid Service of Midlothian!

As a first time client, WOW! I moved into my apartment in July and have been living out of boxes, as I work a ton in my new job. One of Todds miracle workers came by today and worked wonders. I left a cleaning list and an extra key. Upon my return this evening I was pleasantly surprised to find a much more appealing space! So nice to come home to a much more organized place after a long day. Thank you again!

I have been a client of this maid service now for over 5 years. Todd the manager is a joy to work with in rescheduling times that are not convenient for him or me. I have found the women who work here to be honest, dependable, hard working, and efficient. I am extremely happy with the way they clean my large house for me. If you want a value and no hassles with tax forms and/or having to collect FICA taxes, etc., then Mid Atlantic Maid Service is for you. Any disparaging remarks made by folks that do not want to live up to a contract should be totally discounted. Todd has always been very reasonable and professional with me, and I have had to rearrange my cleaning schedule for several illnesses in those 5 years.

I was in need of a 1 time cleaning for my new house I was moving into. My closing date got pushed up and Mid Atlantic Maid Service was very accommodatable. They cleaned my new house hours before I was suppose to move in. The place looked incredible after she was done! My wife was so pleased that she wants to get house cleaned every month now.
