The guys here are awesome. We shopped a few other places and didn’t get nearly the same level of attention and design help. I totally demoed our 90 year old kitchen, added 30 square ft, and completely changed the flow of cabinets. The entire team here went through 3 or 4 revisions as we ran into snags during demolition, and the ultimate outcome was still awesome.I would guess most of the negative reviews aren’t due to the store, but to some third party installers. If you are doing your own work this is the place to go. Every employee in the store helped us at some point and they were all great, special shout out to Caleb who was our main point of contact.

Im glad I didnt read the reviews before visiting CTG. I found them on a family members recommendation and have been so impressed.I was about to spend significantly more money for cabinets from Lowes which were not higher quality. Cabinets to go got me slightly larger cabinets for about 30 percent less money, and more importantly I received them in about a week as opposed to 4 weeks from lowes.I worked on a design with Brad, the store manager and found him to be very informative, helpful and not at all pushy.There was one cabinet and a couple of trim pieces on backorder and expected soon. I dont expect any problems, given that my purchase and pickup went seamlessly but I will update if anything goes wrong with that.Overall I definitely recommend this place if youre doing a remodel. I didnt use their installation services so I cant comment on that aspect.

We just wrapped up a great experience with Cabinets To Go. Brad took our ideas and helped us create the perfect design, even with our quirky additions. They handled the demo, cabinet install, and contracted the countertop install. Communication was great from start to finish. The demo and cabinets went so smoothly- we had a small plumbing hiccup when they removed old cabinets that had been nailed into a drain pipe, but they fixed that for us and stayed on schedule. The countertops took a few weeks to come in, but CTG had given us fair warning that would be the case with supply delays these days. Everything looks so good and we stayed right on budget.

Wonderful experience and cabinets have held up. Going on 5 years since our install. Selection process was easy and well managed by experienced customer service.

Cabinets are great! However the installers are less desirable. This has been a awful experience and we will not be using them again. After looking at reviews I see I haven’t been the only one with this issue. Instead of the sales associate helping us with the ongoing issues we are getting the run around and shoved aside.

I had a great experience in my time spent working with Cabinets To Go. Everyone I spoke with, (primarily Caleb and the manager Brad) were extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding the renovation process. They were a huge help with my project and I would certainly do business with them in the future.

This is worst experience items not advertised clearly for item requested and no clarification at all. Until you get it home won’t fit and try to return and get charged a ridiculous fee of 25% from the original charge.

Similar experience to many other reviews posted here. Shoe molding not included in install, they just left the shims showing under the cabinets. They quoted a waterfall edge. Installed counter without it and would not come back to add it. Crown molding on the top of the cabinets has gaps. Their customer support number never returned call or email. Not worth the savings.

Store associate made an error in my order regarding sink type, despite the fact that I ordered the under counter sink from them and it was part of design. Now they are calling to tell me it will cost $350 for change to countertop which has not even been templated yet. How is it my fault they put wrong info in the order? I understand the paperwork states countertop pricing is subject to change after templating because its an estimate, but the estimate should have been based on the correct design. Also, note this is 2 months after I ordered cabinets. If I had changed type of sink mount after placing order and paying for everything it would be different and I would gladly pay the upcharge. Very upset that company will not accept any responsibility for their mistake beyond a simple apology after I spent $10K on cabinets.

Because I like doing business in and around the Fan, my wife and I wanted to Cabinets-To-Go a try for a kitchen a bath remodel. But after several calls and left messages, one half-hearted return call, we gave up and moved on to another vendor. I have to wonder if they are even serious about making a profit. Then theres the location: a heavily-traveled Richmond city street where the franchisees think its a good idea to open a store with almost NO parking and ZERO room for deliveries. This causes 15-minute traffic jams at rush hour when tractor trailers make their deliveries. NO POLICE DIRECTING TRAFFIC DURING THESE TIMES! Just two guys in street clothes putting themselves and drivers in both lanes at serious risk (see photo). This happens weekly. Do yourself a favor and find some mature business owners who are serious about their trade.

They have a nice showroom but thats as far as it goes, customer service is lacking a bit, been 5 days an still no follow up on a countertop top quote. Not to worry I went elsewhere and they were very happy to have my business. Staff needs customer service 101 retraining.

Purchased $10,000 “turnkey” kitchen replacement for existing small ~10x10 kitchen. They stressed TURNKEY. Did not order flooring and let them know we are keeping existing flooring. We specifically asked for ALL that we need to know so there are no surprises and not cause of delay in work. Paid them and two weeks later hadn’t heard anything. At this point we called and found out they do not remove existing cabinets, does not include sink or faucet, no plumbing or electrical work, no trash removal of cabinets packaging and debris from installation, no shoe molding! Turnkey??? Pretty cabinets with visible gaps between floor and cabinets with shims exposed. Very incomplete setup. Later told it would be extra $533 for shoe molding (3strips of molding only). Salesman and manager failed to address concerns and return calls. Salesman said numerous times he’s not familiar with installation process-shouldn’t he be VERY knowledgeable?? Manager later acknowledged correction on explanation of what they provide to customers ‘going forward’ but offered no consolation for my order. We had to spend ~$2,000 EXTRA on surprises they did not inform us on. Very deceptive practice by not informing us of expectations and customer responsibilities as part of what they stressed as a “TURNKEY KITCHEN” sales process. hoping countertop installation will go smoothly. I would NOT recommend this company.

The gentlemen who work here are great. They are always helpful, easy to get in touch with, and not to mention they sell quality products. There was never any pressure to buy, but I did anyway because I couldnt find anything even close to the price and quality. I highly recommend them and will buy from them again.

I could write a whole page about the other 3-4 month back order we were informed of after the purchase or about how it took 6 months to complete a small kitchen due to delays, missing materials, their contractor going AWOL. But I won’t. You’ve been warned!

Store #322 /Richmond Virginia and Cabinets To Go Customer Care.Although they say they strive for 100% Customer Satisfaction Customer Care made promises to resolve my issues and get back with me before close of business today --- which they did not.Store #322 repeatedly gave me shipping dates and delivery dates that were never met. They are not on top of their orders and cannot resolve customer concerns. Measurements and Designs were faulty and had to be redone when the issues were pointed out by me-not them.Requests to get the phone number for a district or regional manager resulted in a promise to send management an email to contact me which to date I have not heard from anyone in corporate.

After lots of research and shopping around, CTG is the best value. Good selection. Great quality. All plywood construction. Soft closing. Cant beat it.

We brought our cabinets from them and we were very pleased with the customer services and the quality of our White Shaker Cabinets. TJ showed great professionalism and was awesome to work with. The price was great and they arrived in a timely manner. If we had to remodel another kitchen we would definitely purchase from Cabinets to Go again!!

Had an 11:00 am appointment with Calib Saturday morning. We did all our prep work. Had drawings and measurements. We drove up from Chester arrived at 11:00 am. There where people with both guys but we were greeted as we entered. When one of the guys freed up, someone came in a side door and said he was there to pick up his order. The employee proceeded to help him saying he would be right with us. Then another guy came in to get his order. The employee proceeded to assist both customers. I then heard the employee tell his coworker the truck came in. His coworker told him the tell them they would have to wait. We continued to wait, no one speaking to us. As we were leaving I noticed the employee outside appearing to be counting inventory. After 25 minutes we left the store. Wasted an hour and a half of our Saturday on them. No customer service.

This was a surprise. Great cabinets. Great collection.

Didnt see any cabinets to go???? Assuming they mightve been in warehouse, but they only had a few displays on sales floor. Was greeted and salesperson let us know for a half bath vanity and countertop wed have better luck at the chain hardware store and we did.

Love, love,love the staff at this store. TJ and Brad are the best!!!! Oh yeah, the cabinets are pretty phenomenal too!! I highly recommend this store to everyone, you wont be disapointed.

Buyer Beware!! Watch for hidden costs!Pros: Cabinets are great looking and work well.Cons: Everything else1. Was given a quote for new cabinets that included installation. Well, one would think that removing the old cabinets would be apart of that, especially since Brad came out to measure and saw all the cabinets there. Nver mentioned a thing. Got a bill for $589 after the new cabinets were installed and was told that was for the removal of the old cabinets.2. Delays - was told the cabinets would be there in 7 days - it was closer to 21 days.3. Cabinets Plus, run by John Gilbert, was contracted by Cabinets to Go to do the removal and install.4. They removed my Microwave, removed the receptacle and just left it on the floor. They told me that hooking it back up was not included.5. During removal/insall, Cabinets Plus broke my dishwasher drain, but that was not discovered until everything was hooked back up. John Gilbert said that there was no way to prove that his guys did it. Well, it worked before the cabinets were removed; therefore, I would pretty much say that they did it, since they unhooked everything during the removal. His plumber, Scott and Mikes Plumbing wanted $180 to come hook up the replacement hose, since John Gilbert would not stand behind his employees work.6. Corners were cut. They measured all my cabinets, but the cabinets I got were smaller than those replaced. Example: to the left of my stove, they put a 12-inch wide cabinet and drawer to replace my 15-inch that had been there. Also, cabinets above range were not as tall or big and hold less. Also, at the corner of the L shape in the back, there were huge gaps that would be covered by granite, but represented a huge loss of Sq. Feet of Storage underneath.7. Was quoted granite for the job, but when it was time to be done, they wanted to charge me an additional $700 for extra sq feet required that they said they had not measured during the measurement. Smelling a scam, I got several other quotes, and I had EcoGranite install the same granite for $1,000 less!!! And I didnt even share quotes.8. Brad and the rest at Cabinets to Go are nice, but I just feel that everything was not disclosed up front.9. Make sure you get EVERYTHING detailed about the job - demolish, install, plumbing, Appliance re-install, accurate measurements, etc. Demand computer rendition of before and after with dimensions. Demand no gaps and that cabinets go all the way to the wall.10. Request an installer other than John Gilbert and Cabinets Plus.11. Others have had great experiences, and maybe I am the guy who expects more, but this entire process has been more than frustrating and ended up costing a LOT more than originally quoted.12. I have less Cabinet Space than I did before.

I bought these because a relative had a terrible delivery problem with an online company, although the cabinets were of pretty nice quality. Our cabinets from Cabinets to Go were promised in 2-3 weeks, were delayed by 2 weeks, then 5 more, and came in sporadically over 10 weeks. Two here, one there. By the time the last cabinets arrived (two with wrong color sides, which our contractor was able to work around), we had lost 2 months of rent. The salesman copped an attitude when we expressed our displeasure, and didnt seem to care at all that the companys errors cost us the value of the cabinets in lost rent. I cant seem to delete the one star, but Id give no stars if possible. I will NEVER use them again.

PAid for cabinets, only got half the order. Been fighting on the phone for six months trying to get someone to return my calls. They keep telling me next week. My contractor has lost money waiting for the cabinets to come in as well. The staff is a joke. Be safe and avoid this place like the plague

Got very good quality cabinets, solid wood white shaker style, at the same price as the crappy MDF from lowes. Yes it was a little slow to get them in, but in my situation I am renovating 1 day a week over 9 months living elsewhere, so it didnt bother me. Great customer service though from both Julian and TJ, great guys!

The owner and designer are just about getting your money they lack any Professional standards and I would if I were you run the other way and not even bother with this company.

This place is the worst!!!! They didnt get my order right, I had to wait until my nobs got mailed to my home and that wasnt shared with me when I ordered my cabinets. Ive had to come here 3 times for one order. I came to pick up my molding and got spacers instead, they had to reorder my cabinets and when they came in they came in the wrong color.

I ordered an island from store#322 I like the quality but they dont care about customer service. I will never go back to that store again

Their product is okay but their customer support is awful .I have called five times about an issue and never get a call back .I have waited a long time to write this review because I was hopeful they would fix the issue .I will never buy from them again,. Once they get your money you no longer matter .
