I absolutely love this place. You have a customer for life. My engine check light was on so I needed a diagnostic scan. I was called and given the different codes of what was wrong. I was given a quote and how long it would take to fix. There ended up being some bad news and the part for the car was more expensive. In the end I got the work done and my vehicle was fixed and was cheaper than quoted which was much appreciated. My car is like new now. It runs so good when I turned it on it didn’t even sound like it was running it was so smooth. Great customer service and quality work.

My daughter was coming home for the holiday break from school and I wanted to get her car inspected so that she can move around freely and legally without having to borrow my car. As much as I adore her, and she is an excellent and safe driver, I dont allow anyone to borrow my vehicle. Her inspection had expired and due to COVID-19 we were not pressed to get it done, especially since she wasnt going anywhere. I knew her car didnt need any work done, because she had a family mechanic look it over before he left town who assured me it would easily pass inspection, unless I ran into a pirate shop. I did a little research and found Staples Mill Auto Care had some decent reviews (outside of Yelp) and I took a chance. It was a chance I later came to regret. We dropped off the car at 9 am and at 2pm my daughter received a call from the shop indicating all the tires needed to be replaced, as well as both front lower control arms at the tune of $900!! I was blown away! Primarily because they obviously thought they were dealing with a novice also, both arms are not necessary! Those parts were already previously replaced! My daughter instantly called her father who advised them not to repair anything. He immediately had my kids go pick up the car and take it to an authorized mechanic who corrected Staple Mills Auto Faux Pas! Apparently these vultures need to scam a few patrons to make ends meet! The economy has impacted us all! Not just You Staples Mill Auto!

I knew my battery was weak so I stopped by to have it tested and confirmed. They had a battery in stock and changed it out immediately. In this time of COVID I try to steer as much business as feasible to SMAC because they do such a good job!

This is the second time I have gone to Staples Mill Auto Care. The first time was after going to my previous shop 4 times because of a check engine light that kept coming on. After $200 plus, I went to Staples Mill Auto Care on a friends recommendation. They found the problem right away.This time I went for an oil change and tire rotation. They called and said my tires would need replacing in the near future (which they will) and it would be a waste of money to rotate them.They could have just rotated them and made more money but they didnt.Great people to work with.

I went here for my state inspection and am very happy with the service I received. I am not very knowledgeable about cars, but they were very patient and informative. They answered all my questions and made an effort to help me save money. Best of all, they were not pushy at all and I did not feel pressured by them. Would definitely return in the future!

Im a repeat customer because of the way in which they treat their customers, they put the customer first. Whether on the phone or in person whoever I am speaking to is courteous and friendly. I am always provided updates and with a busy schedule love that I am offered multiple methods for drop off and pick up. My vehicle is always fixed or completed the first time and in the time frame estimated.

Cant state how much I appreciate their honesty and attention to detail. Ive been going here for the past 3 years with items big and small, and they are always honest, present you with options, and will genuinely keep your best interest at heart even if it means they dont end up being the ones to work on your vehicle. THAT is why I always go back to them.However, below is a short recount of a recent issue they helped clear up for me:I had two dealers quote $3K on an oil leak which they both diagnosed as a camshaft seal leak... They still couldnt promise that it was the real source until they started digging in, which would then be too late as 12 hours of labor wouldve already accrued.I brought my vehicle into Staples Mill Auto Care for a second opinion.They listened as I told them the history and said Id like to try to diagnose as much as possible without building up a ton of labor time- within two hours, they had called me back saying they verified it was not a camshaft leak and that it was a $40 variable valve timing solenoid with a bad o-ring.$250 later for labor, cleaning and shop supplies, a new solenoid installed, and a state inspection, and I was out of there with a car with no leaks and a massive amount of peace of mind. VERY glad I went with them instead of allowing the dealer to blindly dig in and ring me up a $3K+ bill.Thank you Staples Mill Auto Care! I will happily recommend you guys to anybody interested.

Took my Charger SRT in for oil change and new set of front and rear brakes. They serviced the vehicle real quick and great price. Everyone was real helpful and straight forward. I would definitely recommend and I will return again.

Honestly, super impressed with this team.My car needed a specialty part and they did everything in their power to get the part ASAP. I have dropped 3 of my family’s cars including my own for State Inspections and for Service work. They have been very good to deal with and they haven’t been overpriced. My first time here. My C300 needed brakes and a state inspection. I only stopped to have brake work. Not only did the service writer take me the same day , he had the state inspection completed as well as brake work ahead of promised completion time. I will definitely return for other work in the future.

I have taken multiple vehicles to them for tires and services. Ive always had good customer service from them. It takes takes less time and money to drive 30 minutes to take it to them rather then dealing with other shops.They were willing to work with me on price matching and i felt i could trust them on the end price of everything. The shop cost are on-par with the other locations. The dude josh was very hospitable and open on what needed to be done, and what could wait. He was cool with me just bringing cars in and flexible with appointments. I dropped one off, went next door for some food, and it was ready when i got done.

I purchased a groupon voucher for a synthetic oil change. went in at 8am -they were slammed, and they changed my oil in less than an hour! i was able to make it to work on time and stop by the post office.

Not the best but ok. I dropped my car off at 7am didnt get my car back until 5pm just to get my break pads changed. About 2 weeks later my breaks are sqeeking for the first 5 mins of me driving. They are not open on weekends and who has time to bring their car back during the week? I probably wont go back.
