Ive had a few repairs done at Royal Collision and theyve all been great. The customer service is excellent, estimates and scheduling is quick, and they work closely with a nearby Enterprise so getting a rental car is easy as well. I just had work done on my Honda Pilot after a tree fell on the car, and they did a terrific job getting all the scratches out and replacing my roof rack. I highly recommend them for repair needs.

Just had front end work done by the broad street location. Everyone was kind and very helpful. Stayed in contact to let me know the progress on my vehicle. The workmanship was beautiful. I would highly recommend Royall collision.

Royal Collision was fantastic. Having damage repaired on your car is never an easy process to go through, but Randy Wright and the other employees at Royal made it seem easy. If I had any questions I could call and Mr. Wright would get back to me in a timely manor. For anyone that needs body work done on their vehicle, I highly recommend taking it to Royal Collision! Called multiple times the last 3 days about potential frame damage on my GMC Sierra and have been referred every time to a manager and was told everytime the manager would call me back and answer my questions. They never called back, poor customer service and I am not sure why theyre a preferred shop for insurance companies when they cannot return phone calls to give a yes or no regarding if they can do a service and/or scheduling a service. Taking my business elsewhere.👍🏼

Friendly people from the front desk to Doug who gives an estimate and time frame for completion...quality repairs and on schedule...Not a bragging point, however, my family has used Royal Collision for years as well as bought 10 cars from Royal Chevrolet...

CA family loves VA body shop. Our daughter was in an accident in July and insurance suggested 2 body shops in Richmond. Since were in CA we didnt have any idea of which to use. Decided to call and see how they treated me on the phone and answered all my questions. After speaking with Cheryl I knew there was no reason to even call the other suggested shop. She was professional, supportive and understanding. Although the car wound up being a total loss (thus no body work was done), Randy went out of his way to make sure everything was removed from daughters car when she forget some things. They even went so far as to store her belongings until she returned from summer break. If daughter ever needs car work while in VA it will be done at Royal Collision Center.

They did texts me with updates but told me for 3 weeks my truck would be ready 9 Feb 16...8 Feb Im told tomorrow, and it continued for 4 days...go 11 Feb to pick up my truck...3 days late just to find out they never road tested...alignment way off, body lines horrible from using cheap aftermarket parts, seveal mechanical issues that were so evident i only testimates drove the truck for 1/4 of a milength before i turned around. Then they told me they would cover 2 days of my rental as my insurance rental policy expired but they didnt pay Enterprise, then said they had no loaner when I wad told for two weeks that I could have one if it took too long...now Im stuck with no vehicle, and Im disabled vet with 2 toddlers...absolutely horrible experience, incomplete diagnostics, and a lot of guess work based of prior experience....yea cause all collisions are the same!ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ANY AND ALL COSTS

About a year ago, my wifes new Sportage got rear-ended pretty bad. Royal Collision did a great job rebuilding it so we cant even tell it was hit. Excellent workmanship and a great job blending the paint. Only complaint is that the repairs took a long time and they are not very good at following up with status calls.Recently went back for a small fender-bender and although it still took longer than expected, they managed to push and get it back to us late on a Friday before a holiday weekend. I appreciate that kind of dedication.Now Im back to Royal Collision again after I hit a deer with my Passat. Im confident the work will be done right, but I hope I get it back soon.

Body Shop Manager Rick is the guy to work with! Quality work. Very timely and mostly communicative. EXCELLENT experience with their manager Rick!My first time at Royal was the first time I got into an accident. I needed some body work on the rear door and quarter panel. I had pre-existing scratches on either side of the front bumper, but since insurance didnt cover pre-existing issues, I didnt get the front-bumper re-painted.The Estimator - Bob - was extremely friendly, made me feel comfortable, and delivered quality work on time. Their daily text messaging service was a plus. The paint-work was top-notch, even though it is very difficult to get the Starfire Pearl paint spot-on. I was skeptical and nervous going in (being my first accident), but they made me feel comfortable and confident in their workmanship.The second time was an accident in the front area of the car. When I got the estimate (from a different estimator this time), I asked for, and received the estimate for my pre-existing front-bumper scratches as well. Since insurance was paying to re-paint the entire bumper, I just had to pay out-of-pocket to smooth out the scratches so that they could paint over. I dropped the car off thinking that since Royals in the business of fixing things, they would fix everything and charge me as per the estimate. I did not explicitly state that I needed the out-of-pocket work done.When the car is ready and I get the call to pick it up, Im told that the scratches were not fixed, because I didnt ask them to. They had the car for 5 days, painted the entire bumper, but chose not to paint over one small area. There wasnt any thought given to at least call the customer and say, We are painting your bumper, and there are pre-existing scratches. Would you like us to fix them? They gave me an estimate, so they knew about the issue. The most disappointing part was that there was no admission saying, Were sorry. We agree that we should have at least called you. I would expect that to be common courtesy and even common sense.I went to pick up the car, not in the best mood - to say the least. As I said, I dont write reviews, so I wasnt going to write a negative one. But I knew that I wasnt going to be their customer anymore. I was going to try Precision Body Shop or the Lexus dealership next time.Upon checkout Rick Paquette - their manager walked me out and we had a chat. This gentlemans attitude was completely opposite and unexpected. He agreed that the ball was dropped. When inspecting the car, we noticed that even though the pre-existing scratches were on both sides of the bumper, one side was fixed, the other wasnt! Plus, there were additional scratches that werent there when I dropped off the car.Rick was gentle, friendly and seemed like he could teach a class on good customer service! He has offered to repaint the bumper, fixing the issue, at no cost to me. They will even provide a loaner car for the time mine is with them. He insisted that he wanted the customer to be happy. This attitude was extremely refreshing and welcome. So far the attitude had been CYA, making excuses (you didnt ask us to fix it when dropping off), and generally not aimed towards customer service.Rick is the kind of person who thinks in terms of We, the company, instead of I, an employ of the company. Dealing with such people, who care about their company and realize that good customer service benefits their entire company, is rare and always welcome.The moral of the story so far is - Royal Collision, as a company, and Rick Paquette, as their manager, do care about their customers.Its always tricky dealing with a company - do they care about doing the right thing? Or are they focused purely on making money? Rick proved that Royal is the latter. They do quality work, stand by their work, and will fix things if you are not happy. I would DEFINITELY recommend using their services.UPDATE - The car came back (hopefully for the final time), and it looks beautiful :) Thank you Rick!
