First time using Hilltop Ford. We had our first oil change done on a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor and unfortunately the skid plate was left with only hand tightened bolts so it was super loose by the time I noticed it. We also noticed a small dent in in the drivers door after the service... Dealer is taking care of the dent thankfully, hopefully the repair turns out like new since the truck is brand new! The three stars is for the dealer being willing to take care of the dent.

Since 2020 I experience brakes problems with my truck,12/20 I took for inspection to Richmond hilltop ford,guy David laughing recommended to my wife to change the tires to adress the brakes problems we replaced tires @big o tires,soon with left the shop the problem with the brakes still on the truck,we make appointment again this time I went and talk with David and Hispanic mechanic,he believes the rotors was the problem he adress the rotors problem,9/29/21we return to same dealer now the shaking every time when we press de brakes is worse,I went speak to (RYAN FORD)hes diagnosed brakes pads,and rotors was the problem.and also he blame excessive using the brakes🤣also too much weight on the truck ford explorer(nice)same day they fixed a recall on the fan cooling system.we arrived to the dealer took the truck noticed a big on the cooling fan turn in by self on and off,we return 9/30/21 to hilltop ford explaining to the service lady and mechanic the laud noise on the truck 1 off the was laughing he said upps we did something wrong.also their left tools on the explorer 9/29/21. Seriously HILLTOP FORD NEEDS SOMEONE PROFESSIONAL ON CHARGE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. ATT=FORD GUY

Man, my transmission on my ford focus has gone extremely bad. I took it to several local mechanics in the hopes of getting an affordable repair. They either quoted me around 3-4k or referred me to the Walnut Creek Ford Dealership! My man Les really helped me out and gave a fair price for the repair. Ever since then, my Focus has never felt better. Shout out to Walnut Creek Ford dealership and shout out to Les! Definitely coming here for future services

Ive had positive experiences with the servicing of my 2018 Ford Fusion since its purchase, but that changed on 5/25/21. My car was there for 2 days. I missed my dialysis treatment on 5/26. I wasnt informed of the status of my car like usual. I was quoted $700+ and I have a plan that covers those costs. Ok, let me call you back in 10 minutes. Why wasnt this info researched prior to calling me? Received call around 1pm on 5/27 that my car was next in line. Ford mechanics fixed my car awfully quick. 35 minutes later I get a call saying that my car was ready. If my car could be repaired that easily, why keep it for 2 days? Im not pleased with the customer service I experienced and how I was inconvenienced.

Really good until they are NOT. The price they say become a larger price when you arrive. They dont seem to have the staff needed to get things done in a timely fashion. Most of the people are awesome however a few bad apples can ruin an entire tree. Even with an appointment, things seem to have a long wait to get done. This visit, they said I had to wait an hour to be taken home and this is the first time they didnt even offer a Lyft. I am extremely disappointed in the Ford Brand at this point.

Had a bad experience with illegal markup of a Bronco Sport that I was interested in. The price the salesman told me was the same as advertised price ($29,815). It is the same as the screenshot at around 7pm in my visit.But while I was filling in paperwork, the salesman gave the news that the price was marked up to $33,000. It is undoubtedly illegal for this markup to occur as noted in the California Vehicle Code Section 11713.1 (e). The screenshot with the prior advertised price was the same after I had left which proves the markup was false advertisement.The manager even had the nerve to say that it is a common practice to markup on vehicles once customers are interested enough. Just a warning to be cautious if you ever go to this dealership.

My edge was in for a recall. The appointment was made allowing ample time to order parts. Or so the reservationist said. I took my car in, got a Lyft ride home because they said it might take 4 hours to fix. I wasn’t home an hour before they called to say that they didn’t have the parts.Somebody dropped the ball here. Ideally I would have been called before I brought my car in. But at least, when I checked my car in, they should have known the part was not in. Very disappointing. And now I trust to wait for a call when the part comes in? I don’t know.

As one might expect it is more expensive for some things but the service here is really great. I do suggest getting all quotes via email (rather than verbally over the phone) for work to be done to avoid any confusion. A couple different times I heard a different price than it turned out to be. So I was happy and there was no confusion when getting my estimate via email.Omar in the service center is very professional and communicative. I really appreciated his taking the time to answer all my questions in addition to his patience with my missing my scheduled time due to an emergency. Everyone was super friendly & courteous.

My elderly mother took her 5 year old Ford Focus to this dealership for a 45k service which according to Fords recommendation is jut an oil change and inspection. She was charged a total of $865.95 for a bunch of services that werent recommended by Ford and didnt even get the oil change that was recommended ... but they did manage to charge her $7.53 for hazardous waste disposal for an oil change. Lots of random changes for solvents and fluids for a total of $273.35 and $559.73 in labor.I called the service department and they happily defended all these changes. To me, this is scamming an old lady who doesnt know any better. Buyer beware!

Recently had a smooth and enjoyable experience purchasing a new Mach-E through Hilltop Ford!Bardiya, the sales manager, was very responsive through the whole process, did a great job walking through the car along with all the questions I had, and made sure I got a test drive of the car I would be purchasing before signing everything. Very friendly and genuinely excited about the cars hes showing.This also was the first time they had done the new Ford Options financing for the Mach-E and I appreciate they did their homework ahead of time to be prepared when I showed up. Garnett (finance manager) was great about walking through the contract and making sure all of the promotions were applied. As usual, theres the additional packages but I didnt feel pressured into them which was nice change from previous experiences.Overall, very happy with the Mach-E and the experience purchasing from Hilltop Ford, which felt as painless as you can get with purchasing a car.

Wanted a Telluride and shopped around quite a bit, probably reached out to every Kia dealer in the bay area and valley. Tellurides are hard to get and even harder to not pay a hefty markup. Reached out to Hilltop Kia and Moe responded. He explained the situation to me and was patient in explaining my options. We ended up putting in an order with them. The car finally arrived after a seriously long wait, no fault of theirs. They made the buying process very simple and easy, none of the usual back and forth. Very clear on pricing, fees, financing, etc. Traded in a vehicle and they offered me about what I expected to get based on all my research. I am pretty OCD so I spent quite some time gathering information. I always second guess myself after a deal but with Hilltop Kia I had no regrets. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. Moe was my primary contact but was not there on the day my car came in so I dealt with his colleague that I forgot the name of(sorry, Im bad with names), but I have his card and will hold on to it for sure, he was stellar. Lewis was also a great help as well as their financing colleague. Everyone top to bottom was very helpful and nice and I never had a suspicious feeling that buying a car can sometimes give you. I know this review sounds a little too good to be true but I am not embellishing or exaggerating. Do yourself a favor and contact them and find out for yourself!

I haven’t had very good experiences here, often felt like the service department wasn’t being honest or helpful. Every time I have car troubles I feel so much anxiety and nervousness at the thought of going to the service department.I have a fairly new car (bought from this dealership) and it has given me a handful of issues in just two years.The last time I brought my car in I wasn’t able to fix my issue fully, but Omar Lott was very helpful and kind during the process of trying to figure out a solution.He is great in the service department and I really appreciate the way he treated me.Im bringing in my car next week and am hoping this is the same experience.

I purchased my Ford Escape Hybrid from Hilltop Ford in 2006. They offered a free oil change and filter and check up for the life of the vehicle. My vehicle has been taken care of by their team of great mechanics and staff. I am also thrilled they will wash my vehicle before returning it to me. All the staff is very friendly and efficient! Before my warranty was up they also assisted me in making sure things that might be ready to have problems be checked out before I ended up getting an extended warranty that would not cover some of parts like the $12,000 Battery. That saved me lots of cash as the very large battery for the hybrid feature had problems and I was able to repair them before the warranty expired! So they really were watching out for me and I appreciate all their efforts! Many of the Service Staff have been there for many years and remember you when you return! Best Service Ive had and I have been driving since 1964!

Omar was good and truly worked to make sure I was satisfied...but the quality of work was poor. Even something as small as cleaning and vacuuming the car was done poorly...there was more dirt left in my interior than when I gave it to them...that was just the car wash part. Would have appreciated a bit more attention to the their jobs...I felt like I was begging them to do their jobs.

I brought my Transit camper in for a recall and asked for an appraisal to repair rat damage in the engine compartment. I received a message to pick up the van but before I left I received a call saying they forgot the appraisal for the rat damage. Long story sort, they tore down the manifold on the engine, left the vehicle outside with all our belongings in it after telling me they were putting it inside at night, how I dont know since it was disabled, it took me 3 additional days to get my camper back and I was forced to pay $208 for an estimate.

Joe in the service department was incredibly helpful in explaining the work that needed to be done and giving us a realistic, transparent expectation of when our vehicle would be done. He called us with regular updates and was able to answer any questions we had in a professional and friendly manner. John in the sales department was also wonderful to work with. He was SO friendly and helpful and really listened to what we were looking for in a car. Want to give a shoutout and a big thank you to JC who helped me on purchasing a Ford Ranger. He made buying a vehicle simple while providing all the info I wanted and most importantly did not pressure me into buying right away. Came in there my first weekend to window shop and he was there with me the whole time (however long I was there for) even though he exactly new I was only browsing. After that, I spent a week of thinking about it and texted him any questions that I had throughout the week and he responded quickly. I had the same problem for 4 years, drive the truck for 2 months then the check engine light would come on with the same code. Take it to Hill Top Ford they put a new sensor in the exhaust, pay $ 100 . This went on for the last 3 and half years.When the warranty was up, now the truck needs a new exhaust system $ 7400.00 Why didnt they fix it right while it was under warranty? Whats the answer??? They cant fix diesel trucks , are they just trying to screw me? The truck has been to Hill Top Ford at least 25 times since 2012, with less than 60000 miles on it. It has been at Hill Top Ford more than I have driven the truck!!!

I was having problems with my 2013 focus. The transmission wasnt shifting properly. I called Hilltop ford and was directed to Many. He is one of the service advisors. I explained my problem to him. He said if I can get the car there that afternoon he would give me a call as soon as they found out what the problem is. I had AAA tow the car over. He called me later the same day, said its the transmission control module. Good news its covered under the extended warranty. Many called me the following A.M. and told me the car was ready. Amazing! Many and the Hilltop Ford team knocked it out of the park. I am very satisfied with my experience. Keep up the good work Many.

Ok so I have left reviews in the past about the service dept, and today I’m here to say that my last visit definitely changed my outlook on Hilltop’s service dept for the BETTER!!! Kevin was outstanding and pleasant to deal with. Explained the service and what I was getting done. This is how customer service should be!!! It would have been 5 stars but someone in the service dept forgot to replace a plug under the car which keeps debris from some of the engine parts. Will call later to see if it can be replaced but over all def satisfied with my visit this time hope this trend continues!

I felt they held us hostage for 4 hours. We met Carlos he said no pressure sale but he did nothing but pressure us telling us that we would never find as good a deal than he could find us. W3 told him more than once that we did not want $200. Payments for 60 month on a used car. Ran our credit told he could get Payments down to $171. A month for 60 month.Welll Carlos we went to Hanlees in Fairfaild had a wonderful salesman called Sunni bought a Prius 2010 for $5000. Payed cash & credit card. & they took car of all the paperwork at no cost to us. What wonderful service. I have told people about the underhand high pressure sales at Hilltop Ford & have found out im not the only one who feels this way.DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE THAT HIGH PRESSURE SALES HERE AVOID AVOID AVOID. Moe was a great sales man, very helpful, easy to work with, and most importantly honest and great about communicating. I ordered the Telluride with Moe in July and the amount i paid last week was exactly what he told me I would pay in July (bought it at MSRP). In addition, from when I placed the order in July to when I picked up the car last week, Moe would give me updated ETA times. I went to the dealership where they went over all the features of the car and sent me off on a test drive. I went home and thought it over, then went back and signed the papers (electronically), and drove home in my new car! Pretty painless really and I couldn’t be happier.

Went to Hilltop Ford simply to checkout the Bullitt edition Mustang. As soon as I stepped on the lot, I was greeted by Jovi, who within minutes pointed out and retrieved the keys for, the Bullitt. After copying my Drivers License and proof of Insurance, I was off on a test drive. Literally 10 minutes. After my return, I appreciated Jovi not hitting me with the normal salesmen Mumbo-Jumbo. Instead, Jovi introduced me to José. Jose took the time to give me what I was looking for...a no non-sense deal.The next day, I purchased the Bullitt.Thanks to Jovi, José, Crimma and Noel. I am happy with the services, however I had to deducted a star because my request for a courtesy pick-up was never submitted in the system and I had to make my own arrangements to make it back to site after patiently waiting for 2 hours. Customer service was great, courtesy driver (that took me home at the time of dropoff) was friendly and quick! Additionally, I appreciated that my car was washed and vacuumed.

I own a pet care business where the bulk of my services is off-leash trail adventures. I drive up and down hills most of the day while picking up and dropping off dogs and when going to our hiking destinations. When the time came to get new brakes on my Ford Transit van (after having a bad experience at the dealer I bought it from), I decided on Hilltop Ford. I couldnt be happier with the professionalism of the service department and the technician that worked on my van. I went in to this particular dealership looking for a truck that suited my needs. I was interested in the 2019 Ford Ranger but was open to other options as well. I went in to see Ben the online sales manager with whom I had made an appointment, unfortunately he had gone home sick prior to our scheduled appointment. Despite the small inconvenience, I was immediately attended by a young salesmen who showed me a few options given my list of needs for the vehicle. Once I drove the new Ranger, I realized that with all of the trucks specifications, it was the right one for me. We began talking numbers but the original truck that I settled on was a bit too expensive for me with the 4x4 and offroad package. So we looked at another model that was a bit more accessible to me. We were able to come to an agreement on numbers and by the end of it, I walked away with a truck that I am proud own and thankful to have. Throughout the whole exchange I was treated with respect the guy who helped me out was personable and helpful. Overall, I cant complain about the service they did a good job.Cheers.

Nice people, and I really like my Kia Nero, but my 1st maintenance took 6 hours! They said they had to re-program the car. They should have told me how long it was going to take at the beginning, and I would have accepted a lift home right away. They said a few hours. Well a few is maybe 2, not 6.
