I came in for an oil change, alignment, and specifically a tire rotation. I will say everyone was super pleasant and accommodating, hence the three stars. However, the technician opted not to rotate my tires because they didnt need it, but my reasoning behind why I wanted them rotated was due to the fact I have one new tire that I wanted to be moved to the back because it causes the car to pull to the left. I wish I wouldve been asked about this. Once I realized I called, they offered to have me bring it back, but this would be a waste of time and gas. I guess I just expected more for having a platinum membership and paying $100+ dollars for services. Im not trying to get anyone documented or anything. I think that there should simply be a change to this procedure.

Aaron seemed like a good dude.Original Review:Had the Spark plugs on my 2005 Mustang GT changed here roughly two years ago.I recently took my car to the local Ford dealer for some normal maintenance and they alerted me to the fact the spark plugs in my car were some terrible third-party brand that should have NEVER been put in any vehicle.Glad to know that this AAA branch likes to squeeze out every dollar in savings possible by putting low quality parts in customer vehicles.Will NEVER use this location for service again.

I had my vehicle towed to this AAA location and unfortunately was not satisfied. This was my first time needing a tow to a AAA car care center since moving to the area. My previous experience with other AAA car care locations have been wonderful. I brought my car to this location due to me being a member and me having the confidence in the team to provide me with the most accurate information about what possibly is going on with my vehicle. However, when given the diagnostic information of my vehicle I was told that my motor needed to be replaced. I was not given a clear explanation as to why or what resulted in that conclusion (piston jam, Oil Pressure Sensor broken, ect.). I was told that from the look at the condition of my vehicle, as well as that I do not get oil changes on the regular, (information that wasnt even asked about), I needed a new motor. I requested that the Oil Pressure Sensor be replaced before dumping money for an engine that may not be the issue. I had not received a call once that part was replaced, and I had to call and inquire about an update on my vehicle. I was informed that my vehicle was in the same state as when I brought it in, and that the motor needed to be changed. I decided to tow it to a Hyundai dealership, and upon arrival for my vehicle, my vehicle was actually not left in the same condition that it was in. When I dropped off my vehicle it was not turning on. When picked up to be towed it actually turned on. Not happy with the lack of communication. Hyundai tech was able to give me a possible explanation without looking at it just yet, and the explanation made complete sense. I just wanted a valid explanation, and not a reason that seemed to be focused on hitting my pockets.

Car was dying. Had battery replaced first. Car still died. They said it was my alternator. They replaced my alternator and car kept dying. They never ran the codes on my check engine light. I ran them myself. Ended up being my CAM sensor. Paid about 1200 dollars before they even diagnosed the problem correctly then paid another 200 for the CAM sensor replacement. You would think any mechanic would take the time to run the codes.

The staff were all very friendly with me, but my experience overall was pretty bad. I had AAA tow my car the day prior, and sent to this location. This location wasnt able to service it, because they dont have an A-tech and couldnt get the car inside the garage. This part was understandable, but the part that earned this review was that I was never called or informed of this, and only found out just before closing when I called them to ask. I was never updated about this, or given any information. To their credit, when I was afraid I would be late due to slow Lyft times, an employee did say theyd be willing to stay and make sure I was able to retrieve the keys for a tow truck (I said Id be up to 10 minutes late). It should have been easy to let me know within an hour of open though, if they couldnt get the car inside, and Id have been able to get my car handled elsewhere about a day earlier, and avoided a lot of headache in handling it.

This is always my first stop for maintenance. The staff has been wonderful and very honest/helpful. I do also have a membership to AAA (I feel like pretty much all drivers should) so there is a discount on service and you can buy cheap movie theater tickets (if movie theaters ever are a good idea again)

On June 4, 2021, I took my vehicle into the AAA Glenside Car Care Insurance Travel Center. My vehicle was diagnosed as needing a new air compressor for the a/c unit. I am using an extended warranty and I was informed that the individual that processes warranty claims would be out of the office June 4th through the first few days of the week of June 7th but my vehicle could be repaired the week of June 14th. I was told that he would file my warranty claim on my behalf when he returned and then I can bring my vehicle in for repairs to start after the claim was approved. I called AAA a number of times the week of June 7th for updates and was told that my warranty claim had not been filed but I would receive a follow up when it is. I never received a follow up so I called on June 15th and was then told that in actuality nothing can be done for me because before they can file my warranty claim they will have to have my vehicle left at the facility. I went up to the facility that same day to schedule to have my vehicle left and repaired the week of June 15th but the customer service that I received from the Assistant Manager (I believe his name is Michael) was horrible. He was very rude. When I attempted to explain what I experienced and what I was promised prior, he rolled his eyes and said WELL IM TELLING YOU NOW THAT I CANT GET YOU IN UNTIL NEXT WEEK. Next week is the week of June 21st, well after what was originally discussed and promised. The Asst Managers service was so bad that I asked to speak with the store manager in which he replied Hes new and I dont have his contact information. I asked for the store managers name and the asst manager only said, Caleb, and he started 6 days ago. This is unacceptable. I could have had my a/c compressor repaired long before now if I went elsewhere, but I was promised service from AAA and they refuse to deliver. This AAA Car Care center has wasted my time, provided bad customer service, and did not honor their word.

On Oct 9, 2020, I had Club Fleet Assoc, DANIEL BROCHU, come to my home for battery replacement. I dont know which AAA ofc he came from, but I wanted to make sure and acknowledge him.First, I thanked him for wearing a mask as I am immune-compromised. He was friendly, warm, extremely knowledgeable & willing to talk about any/everything having to do with my battery (which was the reason for my call). This was not my first bout with my battery dying since the Spring and Covid pandemic, but this time, with many tries, it just wouldnt hold the charge. I opted for a new battery which he had on the truck. As he was getting the new battery for me, he offered to correctly fill my tires for me from his truck, saving me a ton of time with my mini compressor and my 73 yr old back. As work progressed, he told me about a battery tender that AAA now sells & how much he loved the solar one for his own car. I cant tell you how much that info helped me especially with Winter heading our way in a few months. At the end, he gave me all the literature on my new battery, explained it to me as well, and as he drove off, I thought what an extraordinary employee AAA had in Daniel Brachu. He deserves much recognition for a job well done. Please acknowledge him and also place this review into his personnel file. I loved getting my oil changed here! I had a coupon from a kroger receipt and they were so accommodating. Not as fast as one of the drive thru places like valvoline or jiffy lube, took about 40 minutes, but way more worth it. Feels very thorough, and my car feels better to drive now. Usually with JL or Valvoline changes, there isnt a noticable difference. Here they checked the battery, changed oil, rotated tires, changed oil filter, checked out all hoses, checked fluids, filled wiper fluid, checked tires. So much better

PLEASE STAY AWAY! THEY HAVE A CULTURE OF UPSELLING.I don’t generally write bad reviews but I’m going to make sure I write on every review platform so I can make as many people aware.TL;DR: Came in because my car was overheating. After the diagnosis, they quoted me $1100 and said that my radiator hoses, radiator and thermostat needs to be changed. Went to a different garage, and they said the radiator was fine and only hoses and thermostat needs to be changed. Charged me $300 total including labor & car is running fine now.The AAA customer service rep reduced the cost from $1100 to $800 which was good but felt odd at the time because I didn’t bargain at all. Now that I know, after the fact that they reduced the price because they were already overcharging me like crazy. I also checked the prices on Autozone for all three parts and altogether it came to about $200. They were basically charging me FOUR times the amount.Also one other point to note, they initially said the diagnostic fee was $120 but then came later on to say it was actually $65. Looking at it later on, I just feel it was a trick for them to gain my trust so they could get me to pay huge amounts they quoted me after that.

Ive been a AAA member since 1986 and Im thrilled that this facility has opened. I brought my car in today to get a second opinion after I had my car inspected by a shop who claimed that I needed over $400 worth of repairs made. AAA confirmed my gut instinct that none of the repairs needed to be made; however they did take care of a few other items that came up. They took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done and as far as I can tell, did a great job. I appreciate their honesty which Ive come to expect from AAA. The facility is very clean, offers complimentary coffee and water as well as other amenities AAA members have come to expect such as maps and tour guides. Keep up the great work!

Echoing several sentiments similar to below, I had an outstanding experience using AAA Glenside for my car care (oil change). Not only were they offering a great special for current members, but they finished my oil change in RECORD time! I came Friday to drop it off for Saturday AM service; Michael Hart called me ~1 hour later on Friday afternoon to say it was complete! Fantastic service, clean and nice facilities, and welcoming employees. I was beyond impressed by this branchs professionalism and customer care!

My dad booked a vacation package through AAA travel and once he arrived in Hawaii nothing went as planned. The agency never called to review his trip before departure. Once he landed in Hawaii he found out that after asking AAA if all of the activities he wanted to attend would work within the times he wanted, the staff said they called the company and they said that everything would fit and work just fine. He went to the company that AAA planned through and they immediately told him that the times he had scheduled were not going to work and he had to reschedule a whole day of activities. AAA also said that they called the hotel in Hawaii and verified late checkout due to flight times and once again when he arrived the hotel said that no one from AAA had called to make any late checkout appt. and that the hotel could only do it through his travel agent. We also had AAA book a train trip to Washington D.C and it took the agent over 2 hours to book 5 tickets on Amtrak and still put us out on the wrong stop. The museum that we wanted to attend the agent did not know how to get tickets so my wife had to purchase tickets on her cell phone while we waited to book train tickets due to lack of competency on AAA agents part. The entire time booking both trips the agent also continuously tried to shove a credit card down our throats after we told her over 5 times that we were not interested.Take my advice fellow travelers go find a different travel agency this AAA will not get you the vacation you are paying for!!!

I do not recommend this AAA location. I have been to this location 4 times for an issue that should have been resolved during the time. They have horrible customer service and do not communicate effectively as to the things customers can do to help them complete their jobs until they do not want to work on your car anymore. I have been a AAA member for over 5 years and I have always received the best customer even if it wasnt the best outcome (i.e tows, flat tires, locked out of car) until visiting this location. While there I noticed many customers returning for continued issues or just careless are with their cars (i.e check engine lights back on, lose bolts on tires etc.) I would not recommend this place even with your AAA discount and reputation. I implore you go some where else for an option before going here.

Took my car in to be diagnosed and all they did was hook it up to the computer and did not test the faulty part or test drive it. They said they did not have the equipment to properly diagnose it and referred me to the dealer AND STILL CHARGED ME A DIAGNOSIS FEE OF $130. They should have told me they couldnt work on power steering before I wasted my money on nothing.

Michael Hart and his staff are so caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I had to have my car towed to their facility on 12/10/17. On Monday, I found out that I had a blown head gasket. I was so distraught with the news, but Michael offered me suggestions and options on how best to handle the situation. Can’t thank him enough for handling the issue so professionally. Nobody in the store, just opened at 10 am. I wanted an oil change. Only one technician available on duty. But couldnt do it because I needed an Appointment. Nothing whatsoever on the website saying that. It would have taken no time at all to change the oil and I could have been on my way, but no help. I have AAA for roadside help, they definitely have better service than this.

HORRIBLE experience with this service center. Communication, professionalism, empathy, courtesy and honesty is what the manager, Brent and a few of his employees lack. I just got my car back 24 hours after it being dropped off and having been told itd be handled as soon as my vehicle got there. (I DROPPED MY CAR OFF FOR ONE TIRE CHANGE). After hours passing by with no update I was only met with aloofness and disrespect when I called to see what was going on. The end of their work day came and they still hadnt touched my car and not even called to let me know. I use my car multiple times a day for my line of work and just wished to be updated so I knew how to handle my situation. The only sincere apology I got was from one of his workers (whose name I WISH I had) after she realized how bad theyd messed up and inconvenienced me. Brent, learn to own up to your communication errors. Customers would be willing to come back and refer. I will not.

Michael Hart was once again pleasant , courteous and helpful during a visit for leaking tire. Michael been very helpful about a year ago with another vehicle tire check and solved the problem.Unfortunately, they could not find the leak in our tire,. The tire was flat again in 24 hours. Another facility did find the leak at the junction between the sidewall and tread.These things happen,.Looking at the other reviews it seems that the customer should ask for Michael and no one else to be their service advisor.

Dennis, the car care manager, immediately followed up with me and resolved the situation. Car care center is a rip off. They charge you high prices and recommend items that you do not need so they can charge more for your work. Brought car in for high pitch squeal when starting and noise in my a/c and an oil change. all notes in the system and when I get a call back they are telling me I need all sorts of things done that has nothing to do with what I brought in for. Didnt even mention what I brought in for until I brought it up. said there was nothing wrong. This the third time this happened and I am NOT letting this go. I will NEVER use their car care center ever again. They are a rip off. they also offer the same headlight cleaning that Sams Club does and they charge $89 and Sams club charges $39. hmmmm high way robbery! AAA is only good for road side assistance and nothing else. Oh Tuffys on Broad street looked my car over and what AAA has recommended is NOT what is needed.

I usually like this place. I had my car serviced here several times before and used their travel agency service as well but Im gonna reconsider these choices.Just took our 2 cars there for state inspection (they apparently dont take appointments for this and first come first serve which is fine). But one of the big overweight dude (which apparently seems to be their car service manager.. well good luck AAA...) greeted us with nothing but sarcasm! So we left immediately and made appointments for car inspection (yes! Appointments! Another thing apparently this AAA doesnt do in addition to being polite...) with another place.

This place sucks as hell. And they are just in the market to get all of your money. Never go there for state inspection. They checked my car and rejected it for tire leakage .Then the guy came back to me and said you have to put $29 to get your tire fixed. So I should pay them $16 for inspection but I end up paying them $50. Never ever think to come to this place for state inspection or anything else.

On our return trip from vacation, we experienced car trouble 31 miles west of Richmond, VA. We called AAA and our car was towed to the AAA Car Care Center on W. Broad St. The manager of the facility, Michael A. Hart, met us when we arrived and said they would check our car and let us know what was wrong. After several diagnostic test, he informed us there may be an engine problem and he would not be able to repair the vehicle on Sunday. We then tried to secure a rental car and was unable to find one near the center. He then informed us he would allow one of his workers to take us to the airport so we could get a car and make it home from our vacation. Mr. Hart went way beyond what I had expected from a service center that was open on Sunday to make sure we could find suitable transportation. I highly recommend if anyone in the Richmond area needs any car repairs and would like to deal with a fair and honest repair shop, they should contact Michael A. Hart at the AAA Car Care Center on W. Broad St. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Hart for him going above and beyond what he could have done on Sunday. Thank you so much. AAA should be proud to have someone of Mr. Harts integrity and honesty working for them.

This place I amazing! We had a tire fall off van and the tow truck driver country was awesome. He had the van on the truck and to the location in an hour. They closed at 7 pm but open up and brought it in when we got there a few minutes after 7 then worked on it first thing in morning. Cant say enough about the amazing treatment! Thank you.

This is average at best, and there was nothing that made this stand out from the crowd. We were the only family in the shop and there was trash on the floor and in the booths. Most of the yogurt machine was either empty or not frozen. The hot fudge dispenser was also empty. The guy behind the counter said all of three words to me. Just very unimpressed.
