It’s been an year now! they are my regular mechanical repairer....I blindly trust them. I had issues with tires, brakes, knock sensor and so many things and every time they’ve solved my problem with pretty decent price. I regret not going there earlier. Ive had three spectacular experiences that each exceeded my expectations. Each were small jobs, yet I still felt like my business was highly valued and that they were an advocate for me to get the best value. Each staff member has impressed me with their intelligence about my vehicles.

The differential on my 2000 F150 went bad. I called Edwards Auto Care because of the great reviews. I spoke with Darryl and he was fantastic. He immediately presented me with repair options. I felt very comfortable and confident that I had selected the right repair shop. He searched high and low to find the exact replacement differential for my truck. Within a couple days he had received the part and had me up and running.

These guys are the best ! Super-professional, always looking out for their customers best interests, and they are just the nicest, friendliest and most knowledgeable people. Ive been taking my two aging vehicles here for about three years now, and I hope to be doing so for many years yet.

These guys are legit. I cant recommend Edwards Auto Care enough! Ive been using them since I first moved to Richmond over 3 years ago from reading all the good reviews online. And its true, these guys are the absolute best. They are always friendly, helpful, and honest. Prior to moving here, I spent YEARS with a broken speedometer and over $1k spent on trying to get it fixed with other shops. The guys at Edwards were able to get it done! I will never take my car to another shop again.

Honda was going to charge me $1k, cutshaw was going to charge me $1k, Firestones was going to charge me $650. All for a friggin starter and installation. Each of those places wanted to charge a 99$ diagnostic fee, and it did not go towards cost or labor.But Edwards Auto Care? THEY REALLY CARE!!! Brittney, Chris, and the entire staff behaved as if they are passionate about what they do and that they care for their customers. And they applied the diagnostic fee towards the work. Im used to going to Honda for everything, but there was absolutely no way I was going to pay 1k for a starter and install. The starter was only $160 so you mean to tell me the labor cost is $800? I will continue to do business with Edwards. Chris is an expert and very personable.

I have used the services of Edwards Auto care for over 35 years. They have never let me down. They do great work at a very reasonable price and stand by their work. I have nothing but gratitude for all theyve done for me over the years. Even when stranded, they came to my rescue. Theyre like family; they care about you and your car. Very down to earth folks who Ive seen help others even outside of business hours.

Called in to get a quote to replace injectors in my Audi. Brittany took care of me quickly and was very knowledgeable. A lot of shops didn’t want to help due to their inexperience, but these guys are going to take care of me in a few days. Very reasonable prices and scheduling. I came in and their mechanic walked me through everything and explained it very well. Fixed it very well. They took care of me, no complaints. I hope to do a lot of repeat business with the future.

Love them! I didnt make an appointment and just drove up. I asked them for new tires, new breaks, and an oil change that wouldnt break my bank. They provided great service, was quick, and called me prior to making any major changes to ensure pricing was good for me and that they werent doing something I wasnt okay with. Friendly, quick, and amazing! Thank you guys!

I do not have enough nice things to say about Edward’s. I have been taking my car to them for 5 years and they have always been incredibly kind and helpful. They have called around to make sure that they are getting the best deal for parts for me, they charge reasonable prices, (and non car-related) they have walked me to my car after dark and always give my dogs biscuits when we walk down to pick it up. They’re wonderful.

They were very helpful, friendly, and straight forward. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it within the day. Would definitely bring the car back for any future issues.

Oh my goodness!!! These gentlemen were so awesome. They squeezed me in to fix some trouble with my brakes. I thought for sure they were going to charge some crazy fee like most garages. INSTEAD, they charged me a super great rate and explained to me the problem. They were super friendly and willing to work with me. The men at this garage were kind, hard working and funny!!! I will definitely take my care here from now on!!! Their kindness and professionalism and willing to go above and beyond has won them a lifetime customer. I shall use my big mouth to shout their awesomeness to all my friends in the area!!!!

Needed a good amount of work done, and didnt think I would be able to get it all done at the same place. Not only did they surprise me with being able to do everything there, their pricing was surprising as well. They gave me such a great deal on everything. This is the most honest, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful auto shop I have ever used. I highly recommend them and will continue to go to them for all my needs. My car is like driving a new car after they were finished and my bank is not hurting at all.

Lovely people, pleasure to talk to. I asked for a quote for a specific job and was quickly called back with a very reasonable price of 2/3rds what the dealership wanted. Took it in the next day, and they even threw in the tire rotation I asked for for free since they were working on my brakes anyway. I would absolutely recommend them and they can expect my future business.

I cannot say enough good things about Edward’s Auto Care!!! As a young female new to Richmond, I was weary to bring my car to a mechanic when it started making an usual noise. However, the people at Edward’s are kind, caring, competent, reliable, efficient, timely and honest!! They also ensured that I got the best deal possible for the work that I needed done! Best shop ever! I was visiting Richmond from northern VA and my car battery died. they literally saved my life! all the other shops were either closed or said that they couldnt work on my car for some reason. this shop, however, told me to bring it in, even though it was after hours!!! everyone there is extremely friendly, they made me feel really comfortable. amazing service! i genuinely recommend everyone to go there.

Very very profesional servise

Edwards is the only place I will take my car (an older Subaru). They are honest, friendly, and resourceful. Ive been taking my car there for about a year and cant believe how much time and money I wasted taking it to other shops before I finally listened to my friends and switched to Edwards Auto Care.

I had a great experience here at Edwards Auto Care. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and knowledgeable. The woman at the front desk was also very kind. Definitely recommend.

Called to get a quote on brake service and received call back with quote much lower than what I was being quoted from other shops. Asked the lady (forgot her name) who called back if I could get it done right away. I was placed on a brief hold and then she came back and said yes I could bring the car in now. Thank you guys for working on my car with such short notice. Brakes were done properly and the mechanic who worked on the car knew what he was doing because he asked me for permission to trim the dust backing on the rotor because I upgraded to a big brake kit setup and sometimes the dust guards need to be trimmed to accommodate the bigger rotors. No issues with the brakes and no squealing with the brakes as I had previously with the big brake setup that another shop had done on my car. Thanks Edwards Autocare. More than Five Star effort.

These dudes are awesome. I showed up today with my friend and her Hyundai Santa Fe with a busted alternator at 10 minutes after 6 when the shop closes at 6. The guys came out check the battery and when the battery was fine went ahead and did the test on the alternator even though they could have just said leave it for tomorrow. They were really patient and and kind especially since it was like a hundred degrees today and as I said before they were literally locking the shop up when we busted in there with our emergency.

One of the best shops Ive been too in the Richmond area. Dropped my car off in the evening and got it back with new sway bar linkages in less than 24 hours. The guys were honest, thorough, and even took the time to show me the defective parts and make sure I was happy with the repair. I will definitely be coming back when my cars need anything in the future.

Simply put Edwards Auto Care is the best place to take your vehicle in to have serviced. They are honest and take good care of each customer that comes in. These guys are just like family to me and I appreciate all the work they have done not only to my personal vehicles but also my company I work for vehicles.

My college aged son took his car here for an inspection and it failed so I had him bring it home to have it worked on by a shop we have a lot of good experience with. We took it back to Edwards for a reinspection since our shop does not do state inspections. It failed again because a part was removed that it had been failed for originally so we took it back up our shop and had that part put back in that was ordered new. We took it back to Edwards for a second reinspection which they took 3 days to do and they failed it a third time for several new things never mentioned. I was livid and wanted to call since by this time I was back in our hometown unable to wait in Richmond for 3 days to get the results, but my son asked me to let it go and said he already expressed his frustration to them. I am very disappointed that this shop is dishonest and I feel takes advantage of college students in this area. I know my sons car is old and expected it to need some work but it is unethical and I’m pretty sure illegal to keep coming up with new things wrong so it will continue to fail. Shame on you, Edwards.

Great place that treats you fairly. Everyone there is friendly and they always had a bunch of cars being worked on. Large garage, small wait space but you dont wait long while there. They seem to underestimate how long it will take to get to your car but what mechanic doesnt. They have their own towing and is a good price too. Ill come back here again.

These guys are awesome. Have taken my Jeep there twice and I always feel like they are going out of their way for me to find the best prices on parts. They are incredibly friendly. Will always refer them first and foremost over the big box crap mechanics like Merchants across the street

I’ve been bringing cars to Edward’s for the last four years and not once have I had a problem with them. They are dependable, accountable, very polite, timely and they know cars. They’ve taken care of an old Jeep, a Volvo station wagon and a Prius for me and my family, all without complaint. They’ve got 100% rating from me and I plan to rely on them for my car maintenance and repair as long as I live in Richmond!

The owner and employees are friendly and easy to deal with. They are honest and prices are fair. I highly recommend them if you need car repairs.

Ive found my new Go-To auto shop! I called my old shop of choice who wouldnt be able to see me for 3 more days, but had an urgent issue. I then called Edwards right afterwards who encouraged me to bring my vehicle in at my soonest convenience, even if it was technically after hours for them. Working in customer service for 10+ years, I found this very customer forward! They promptly took my vehicle in, called me within 24 hours with the issue (a $20 tire repair vs. charging me for a brand new tire), and had my car ready for pick up on time. Again, they worked around my schedule and allowed me to pick it up after hours - I highly recommend this honest, friendly, and convenient shop to ANY ONE! I know I will be in the future.

My husband and I were in a bind. Our windshield wiper was messed up during a downpour. We went to them and they fixed them for us near closing time. They took us right in and fixed them. These guys are great and super niceI will recommend them to everyone! I give them a 10! Thanks again

These guys are honest, do a really great job and seriously do all they can to save you money. Been going there for years and their quotes are consistently lower than everyone else. Never had a problem with their work, period.

After dealing with the nightmare that is DMV (I moved to Richmond, VA from Long Island, NY) I had low expectations for my inspection. The staff at Edwards went above and beyond for me! I had to move my appointment for an inspection 3 times and they were only pleasant about it - in fact they always answered the phone with a catch phrase and were always pleasant. Definitely got my dose of southern hospitality here, they were SO NICE and never tried to upsell me on anything, they did my inspection, passed me, and I was on my way for just $16. I am absolutely a happy camper and will be coming back whenever I need work done to my car!

First off it is scary to even think of finding a mechanic, let alone trust one. However, after reading all of the google reviews for this place i felt alot better. I went to the shop on a Saturday and dropped my wifes Rav4 off. I went home and awaited the verdict in fear of what could be and how much. Hours later I got a phone call with a solution to the problem and the cause, which was a noisy water pump bearing and the solution obviously to replace the water pump. I cringed at the next though of how much is this going to cost. But what came next was almost more confusing than what i feared was wrong with the car. You guessed it a honest and affordable price! Not only that they were confident and were ready to complete the repair in a timely manor. I know from past exp that a water pump on some vehicles is a real bear of a job, mine included. But these guys are awesome, skilled, personable, and a rare thing you will find these days honest. My wifes car runs and drives better than ever and I look forward to many years of these guys being my mechanics.
