My desktop lost power as I was using it I called Eduardo to explain and he said if I could come right over he would take a look.When I arrived he methodically went through the process of checking components and was surprised the power supply replacement didnt fix the problem. After checking everything we agreed the mother board must be shot.The pc was way too old to consider fixing so Eduardo removed the hard drive and made a backup of my data. When I left I had the hard drive and my data backup and for a new pc.I asked for any suggestions about things to consider when shopping and Eduardo googled some possible configurations for me to consider.Eduardo is knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant and professional - a pleasure to do business with.

WOW! I was in tears when I contacted Eduardo about my Mac. The Apple store wanted to restore my computer which would have deleted the last 7 years of pictures and videos-NO! Dropped off my computer on a Friday and Eduardo delivered it in perfect condition on Monday. Folks - My laptop suddenly started freezing on 7 Dec. I happened to find Eduardo Maal, who operates under the name of his sole proprietorship PC Mango in Sterling, Virginia. Most of his business comes from being an outsourcing resource for doctors enterprises, multiple-office law firms, and such.But he also services problems like mine.On Sunday 9 Dec I went to meet with him at 6 PM, and by 9:30 I left with a working system—upgraded with a new solid state C disk thats 3 or 4 times faster than the Dell disk I got with the laptop in 2016. I was also painlessly upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1, but still using my Office 2013 legacy software. (Hes got the necessary diagnostic tools and spare parts like disks there, as part of his outsourcing.)The advantage of my looking over his shoulder while he worked was that I could answer a plethora of user questions about configuring the system to my needs.Since then I experienced issues with how some of the manufacturers upgrades confused or distressed me, and he was available within 8 hours of my calls to help out.I recommend him with 5 stars, price included.Walt Culver

We are a veteran owned business with offices in Afghanistan and Dubai and must stay connected overseas at all times so we cant be down for any significant amount of time. Weve been working with PCMango for 3 years now and they setup our servers, workstations, and firewalls in a way that makes our work much easier and when weve needed to look for a backup from any time in the past they found them for us. They also upgraded us all to solid state hard drives so everything is very fast. One time one of our systems crashed and they brought a new drive and restored it in just a few hours. Called and told Eduardo that I had an acer laptop with the screen not working. He took it, diagnosed that it was a software issue, and fixed it in front of me. Happy with the results, and grateful for being able to work with my preferences.

We called them the night before and it was an emergency and they came out the next morning and were able to recover all the photos that the Apple store told us were not recoverable. They were kind of expensive and that is why I gave only 4 stars, but really he saved 10 years of family photos that the apple store told us were not recoverable. Then he put in a new hard drive and reinstalled everything. and put the photos and documents back. Additionally he was very personable and explained things well. I would use them again.

Eduardo is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. He has helped me several times over the years when things go wrong with my computer and wifi system. He takes the time to explain to me how things work and makes recommendations as to updated programs and features that I should consider to make my online experience better.

When our computer suddenly crashed, Eduardo was our lifesaver! He took my call on a holiday weekend and began working on our computer promptly. He quickly found the problems and was able to save data we thought was lost. We felt that we needed a new computer and he helped us with that process plus set all our programs up for us, a very time-consuming thing to do and I doubt if he charged us for all of the hours he spent on our behalf. We have a landscape company in Sterling, VA. PCMango has been supporting our technology needs since 2010 and all of our systems run really fast. They upgraded every PC and even the Macs with solid state hard drives late last year and wow, the computers were already fast, but now they boot in 10 to 15 seconds and the programs open instantly. Also they upgraded all the systems to support dual screens which helps a lot. I personally have referred PCMango to 2 friends that own landscaping companies and they were both very pleased. Its a great company with a very experienced and personable staff that always responds quickly and takes the time to explain things in a way that non-techy people can understand. I work for a small engineering consulting firm, and this morning my PC suddenly crashed. I called PCMango and brought the computer in for a diagnosis. Eduardo immediately got to work and was able to confirm my suspicion of a faulty power supply. He quickly replaced the power supply unit and even took the time to blow out the dust inside the PC box and snugged up a few loose screws on the motherboard anchors. I was very glad to keep my lost time to a minimum.

PCMango is terrific. Their owner and principal technician Eduardo came out to our law firm and fixed an issue in 15 minutes that had our prior IT rep. stumped. After this great work, we had them upgrade all 5 of our computers with solid state drives, along with upgrading our network to the newer wireless standard (ac) as well as gigabit ethernet.PCMango is also moving us towards the goal of paperless with great document scanners. Taking a law firm paperless is not an easy task, but Eduardo has worked patiently with so that we can developing a workflow that allows us to do this. He also has implemented a verifiable onsite backup system that actually works as well as an offsite backup system.My old IT guy said we were backed up, but PCMango actually showed me how to be certain that we are.
