This review is for three different rings that we bought in two different occasions. Everybody at the store is super friendly and prompt in helping you out. The first item we bought was a custom engagement ring, and let me tell you, they did a fantastic job. It was exactly what I had in mind for my fiancé and she loved it too! Since they did such an awesome job with that we had our wedding bands made here as well. Just like our first visit they did an awesome job! So guess what, searching for a jeweler who does amazing work in short period of time is super difficult. Not to mention what a headache go to all these jewelers who would try to sell you things you dont want or not even give you the time of day. Well I finally stumbled across this diamond in the rough. I went into BVW not even to seconds in the door all the staff were busy but still managed to great me and assist me. Well let me tell you after I had explained my situation and how there is a dead line. From all the places I have gone to, they have explained that it takes 8-10 weeks to customize a ring. That would not do. I explained how I wanted this ring to be one of a kind. Gave them a few ideas and they took that idea and made it into reality. The finished product was done in SIX weeks(lightning fast). My wife absolutely loves the every detail of this ring. I am super happy that they listened to my ideas and did not steer from it . I know your probably wondering if it was super expensive due to the shorten time and detail. I must say they were very reasonable and you know, they offered many ways to pay your ring off if you could not all at once. I would definitely recommend this custom jewelers. I also want to give a big shout out to my Artist for this absolutely flawless ring. I know this is along post but you needed to know . Thanks for reading.

We had a very fine neck chain that one of the links had broken. BVM Jewelers did a fantastic quick and reasonably priced repair. Even cleaned and polished the cross. This is not our first contact with BVM. Every time we are treated with respect and courteous service. Best jeweler around.

If I could give 10 stars I would. My husband and I brought various pieces of jewelry in to be resized. Everyone one was so helpful and inspected each piece for loose stones. But what is so amazing about BVW is that they design amazing Jewlry. We brought in a very large diamond piece that has been in the family. We wanted to reset it into a new ring for our 30th anniversary!! The design Britain came up with is to say the least gorgeous!!! They do all the work in store! Which is hard to find. Most jewelers send out their pieces. I highly recommend BVW. Look no where else. You won’t be disappointed.

Picked out engagement rings with Jenny who was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. Came in on Tuesday, chose a ring and it was ready by Thursday! Very fast and attentive service.

All staff was amazing, Jenny went above and beyond for my mom and I. She made me feel very comfortable in a very foreign world. I was unaware how special the pieces I had were and she was very informative and had a ton of knowledge in the specific field.

The prongs on my wedding ring were snagging my clothes. I came into BVW for an estimate and repair. They gave me an honest evaluation and all I needed was a quick polish to fix it! My ring looks and feels like new again! Very happy with the VIP service and will be back.

My husband and I are new to the area and we stopped in to look at adding another wedding band to my set. They were extremely helpful and patient with me while I tried on many different options. While we checked out they cleaned and checked my other rings and even caught a loose stone in one of my bands. We left the band there and they tightened it for us quickly and promptly. RUN AWAY!!! The owner is no better than a used car salesman. He gave me the creeps!! Any of the “nice” rings there are the ones the owner bought from others. We were here visiting a family member. I had 3 rings, 2 ring guards with an external ring guard holding it all together, and they cracked because they were too thin and narrow. Britten took me in and said he could fix it in a day!! At home, I asked my jeweler to do the same work and he told me he couldnt. The store is very clean, the staff professional. Cant say enough good things about working with Britten and his wonderful staff. My husband and I came in with heirloom stones that we wanted to be set in a unique way for my wedding ring. Being able to see the drawing in CAD, and then having a plastic ring cast was an amazing service for them to offer, and Im so glad they did! We ended up changing the design at the last minute, and they still finished my ring with two days to spare before our wedding. I came into BVW initially to get a jumper made for a cross I had. The original jumper wasnt big enough for the chain I wanted to put on it. Brittain helped me out, the owner, and was extremely fast in getting the cross back to me. So I went back for a couple polishes on a watch and another necklace as well as purchased a few small items. Then I had a project for him to place a couple diamonds in the eyes of the skull pictured below. The catch was I needed it done in less than 4 days and he said not a problem! Needless to say, he knocked it out of the park!!! Turned out incredible! Bottom line, the store is immaculate, everyone that works there is very nice and knowledgeable, and Brittain is THE MAN!!!

Thank you BVW! I took my wedding ring into another jeweler in Reno, only to have the sizing beads break off (laser welded instead of soldering). BVW added 2 more sizing beads and also performed other work on the ring that the other jeweler tried “fixing” but it failed less than 4 years later. The ring looks and feels better now than when it was new!

I came into BVW to pick out an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I was instantly greeted, offered water, and made very comfortable. As a young man this can be a very scary and stressful process. Melissa made it fun! Her care and concern for me and my fiancée was unparalleled. The owner also came out and spent some time talking with me. I knew I was in the right place! I selected the diamonds I wanted to see in person and within 3 days they arrived. I came right back and picked the one I wanted and then moved to the band. Total time for the production was just about 1 week. UNREAL! Melissa helped me every step of the way and offered great advice on the ring as well as how to handle the stress of it all. If that’s not enough, 4 months later the clasp on my gold chain broke and Aspen, one of the jewelers, was able to fix and polish it in 5 minutes. During that time I spoke with Lilly. The Staff there is always super nice and very easy to deal with. Repairs are fast, reasonable, and flawless. They also have unbelievable jewelry for sale. Go there, you will also be also customer for life!

I had a custom ring made at different jeweler. I was not completely satisfied and that jeweler said what I wanted could not be done. BVW was recommended so decided to see what they had to say. They were able to do exactly what I wanted. Ring is absolutely beautiful. I would, however, recommend being completely clear on what you want. I wasnt and it took longer to complete than I expected. But that was on me. Once I communicated my wishes they followed to tee.

This is a modern jewelry shop with old fashioned quality and customer service. I had a platinum repair and these craftsmen & women did a beautiful job in under a week. Finding a jeweler to perform platinum repairs is difficult. Many will offer to send it out to a specialist. This repair was done on site. I could not be happier with the quality and price for the work. This is a family business and it shows in the work ethic and customer focus. I came into Reno with a diamond that I purchase from my wholesaler in San Francisco. It was the wrong size and my daughter was getting married later that same day. Out of every store Ive ever been in, I have never been more impressed with the customer service and atmosphere like I have been with BVW. I’ve been to jeweler after jeweler and they all turned me away saying it wasn’t worth the money to get my husband’s grandmother’s ring fixed. Michael and Sons in town completely ruined my ring 7 years ago and blamed me for the stone falling out. After talking to three different jewelers they confirmed it wasn’t me but the work that was done to the ring. They also told me not to put any more money into the ring and made me feel like the ring was garbage. But it wasn’t to us! I saw BVW’s reviews online and decided to try there. While they were very professional about not saying anything negative about the ring and the prior work that was done they understood that the ring was important to me and my husband and agreed we should bring it back to life. I’m so glad they did and I’m so grateful for their expertise and willingness to work with us from start to finish in making this ring everything that we knew it could be. I highly recommend them. I went to every top jeweler in town, just to check them out. I had a difficult case: an antique eternity ring in platinum that was the wrong size, and the setting was wearing out. Since it was my mothers wedding ring, I wanted to re-size it an preserve all its original charm and grace. Another top jeweler in town (the one with the HUGE billboard) said they would have to send it out and it would take weeks, without any way for me to see the mysterious masters work first. I said BVW said they could do it in house. If anyone can, they would be able to, conceded the top chain store. Back to BVW I went. I must admit, I am not an easy customer. I am demanding, exacting, and I have at least a dozen questions. Each time I go in, they are very patient and happy to spend as much time as I need. The best part: I do not approve of supporting conflict diamonds, and BVW shares this approach. I am not sure why they and other jewelers are not more outspoken about opposing this problem with their industry, but It was very important to me that I support an establishment with a policy in place. Even if you find a design you like better someplace else- (not likely, given their ingenuity), you are better off having them design it exactly to your specifications with their 3D printer design process. You can actually try a prototype of your design on before its made in metal. Doesnt fit quite right? Feels weird? They can and will fix it. They will not stop until you are happy. Really happy. There are a lot of nice jewelers in town, even ones with great taste and customer service. But if you want to support ethical diamonds, appreciate artistry and creativity, and are ridiculously picky like me, we will be seeing each other here. Even if you try to go somewhere else first. We all have jewelry that is missing a stone, outdated, should be a pendant or ring instead. I know you dont want to take it just anywhere, but you dont have to spend all the time I did going to every darn place in town. My mothers wedding ring looks gorgeous, fits perfectly, and now I get to wear it every day instead of looking at its sad worn-out setting in my drawer every day. Just remember: they genuinely want you to be happy. If its not perfect, you will not feel bad asking them to fix it. Good jewelry has to be perfect, and they get that.

Britten is a really cool dude, he did an amazing job on the engagement ring that i bought and he is a very easy going guy. Everyone in the store is very nice, I have been in jewelry stores where the people are pretentious and disinterested. This is not the case at BVW. Thats all the good, but after the purchase of the ring and another item I have spent near if not slightly above 3K at this store and asked for certification of quality on the ring as well as the gem in the ring. I received receipts and information on policies for the store but no certification or information on the piece. After getting the ring sized which was done in a very timely manner we asked about an appraisal on the ring which we were told the appraiser will be in on Wednesday and to call ahead of time. The appraisal of the ring now will cost $100.00 dollars if we would like to wait an hour while it is done or $75.00 if we wish to leave it for 5-7 days... For a product that was bought at the store that information should be readily available as most people insure their engagement rings. The color, cut, clarity and Carat weight should be in their system and an appraiser it seems should do this before purchase as part of the buying process... With a piece of jewelry at this price and quality I feel that this should be done at time of purchase and at no extra cost. It really is a great store with great people, Maybe ask for this information before purchasing which is also on me for not doing that :-)

I just love the look! This wonderful neighborhood store was a pleasant surprise after having a great breakfast at the Squeeze In (right next door, and the only place for Sunday breakfast!) and noticed they were open. I was surprised to walk in and see such a great layout and color then was greeted immediately by Mr. Wolf and welcomed in. With only few items in his store due to building out, he explained that his specialty was custom design but does have some other bridal and unique jewelry. What was so much fun was is the design areas for just designing jewelry with some amazing computer stuff showing how that anything can be designed just from looking at my ring that I have been thinking about doing something with. We played with stone size, metal, and was even shown what the design would look like on your finger, so cool. The store did have some cool rings, necklaces, and other jewelry showing that looked great, not to mention some amazing art on the walls from a local artist. I got a free cleaning on my rings and some wonderful design ideas, cant wait to bring in my husband back in!

I attended the grand opening of BVW Jewelers and was very impressed with the look and feel of their establishment. The sales staff were well trained, highly professional, and very pleasant. I was especially impressed by the lines that BVW carries. I am not a frequent shopper at such businesses, but found BVW to carry a variety of unique lines which I was highly attracted to. All around, a very pleasant experience.

Highly recommend! We brought in our engagement ring late on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, and BVW was able to have it ready in time for our trip to see the in-laws on Tuesday. They took their time to review the ring and to be sure it was being sized correctly. They also warned us in advance that their may be a small inseam because of the weight of our metal versus their minimum, but we are unable to see any difference. The prices were very fair. Friendly, professional, and overall a pleasure to work with.

I am so glad I did, because there were so many facets to designing a ring I never knew existed. They fixed things I didnt know I had damaged, and re-sized my wedding bands (2) that hadnt fit for years. I had been told it was not possible to re-size the bands but BVW came up with a solution. Prices were reasonable and the work was top notch. I am hoping to work with them in the future!

I came to BVW Jewelers with a vision of how I wanted my fiancées engagement ring to look. Michelle and Britten not only helped bring the ring to life, but they made the experience of designing it fun and educational. The final result was more beautiful than Id ever imagined. We loved working with Britten! He was able to take random photos from online and create the perfect custom ring, even coming in just under our original quote! The store is beautiful and has great local art on the walls, and has a large viewing area where you can watch Britten work. We had a ring designed around a stone we already had and it turned out wonderfully! If youre looking for anything custom or unique, go to BVW. Britten custom designs and 3D prints amazing jewelery that you wouldnt think possible!

I recently brought my wedding ring in for repair and had the best experience. As you can imagine my wedding is very important to me and to not wear for upwards of a week was very strange. The repairs were done under the week timeframe that I was quoted and imagine my surprise when I went to pick it up, there was no charge! The staff was beyond professional and helpful and I will definitely bring any other jewelry I have for repairs to BVW as well as be recommending them. Keep up the great work!

Negative stars if possible person on the phone when called seemed to be professional and polite however when I went in in person they were rude inconsiderate refused to make eye contact. Plus they had a Sink full of dirty dishes and junk food all over the floor where youre supposed to be consulting clients Definitely not professional or recommended
